They have an excellent jewelry selection. Some pieces are handmade in-house, including the ones in the review photo.Now stop reading this review and schedule your appointment! You wont regret it, but it will hurt a little.

Crimson is so professional and honestly the sweetest! Her work is excellent and she is very serious about the sanitation process of jewelry and your piercing. My husband, son, and I got piercings by her and she was so delightful to where my son who was 8 at the time, said it didn’t even hurt. She has been exceptionally helpful even 2 years after my piercings. I won’t go to anyone ever again but her!

I got my first ever piercings here last week and I cant emphasize enough how accommodating Crimson and Robb are!! I originally walked in for a consultation. Crimson was thorough in not only going through each and every question I had regarding the piercings, but helped me browse through jewelry aswell; making sure I was able to buy pieces within my budget. They were truly patient, informed me of all my choices, and even customized my jewelry to fit my favorite color. Due to the peaceful atmosphere and how inviting she was, I felt comfortable getting my piercings that same day, which Crimson was gracious in letting me schedule right then, considering I was a walk in at that point. Robb did my piercings and was also amazing. He explained each part of the process to me and asked for my consent every step of the way. He stressed the fact that I could speak up if I wanted to change the position of my piercings before getting them and helped quell my anxiety. We had great conversation and he asked how I was doing after each piercing. He was also very informative as far as instructions on taking care of my piercings and even gave me a pamphlet and sticker. I almost forgot to mention the complementary snacks which were also very appreciated. Overall, this was an amazing first piercing experience and I cannot thank Robb and Crimson enough. I felt that I had to write a thorough review so that anyone who is on the fence about getting a peircing knows to give this place a chance!!

I got a conch piercing(stud) from Crimson and two lobe piercings(4ths, hearts) from Robb! The experience was really great! They made me feel very comfortable and everything felt super clean and safe! The vibe they have going on at the piercing place was great. I also really appreciated that they were giving me the pricing total ahead of time. 10/10 would come back again!I’m adding a pic :) (ignore the first two lobe piercings, I got those when I was MONTHS old and they grew out crooked.)

I got my septum pierced and what a wonderful experience it was! With the option to choose my own jewelry for the healing process, Im in no way gonna regret it. Crimson and Robb are charismatic, funny, and make the whole process easy and as painless as possible. The facility is clean and curated. Not to mention, the whole process took about an hour! Its only day two, but Im hella pleased with my choice in piercer and the healing thats already happened.

Come here first! My 5yo daughter had an issue with an existing piercing from another place and Crimson was able to fix it without a problem. She was confident in what she was doing, explaining to me (nervous mom) everything in such detail and most importantly was extremely patient with me and my daughter. I truly wish I came here first. This is a great place to get pierced! The jewelry is all implant grade titanium or gold, and everything is sanitized in front of you. Crimson and Robb are both very friendly and make you feel comfortable. They’re always willing to answer any questions and go above and beyond for their customers. I highly recommend coming here for any piercing you want or any help you need :)

Really clean piercing studio. The piercer talked me through everything and I felt like I was in really good hands. Really happy with my septum. They also included a package with the size of the gauge and date it was pierced so you can easily receive and keep track. Very knowledgeable staff and provided great information about aftercare!

Incredibly satisfied with my appointment with Crimson for a vertical labret piercing I got this past Saturday evening. Her apprentice is just as amazing. They both made me feel so comfortable and at ease. Its always insanely refreshing to feel like every question I had wasnt met with pretentious answers. Highly recommended Crimson and her team for all and any piercing needs. She truly cares and appreciates the craft that she does and it tells in the way she approaches the experience from start to finish.

Robb and Crimson are truly the very best. a friend of mine referred me to the shop and I wont go to anyone else to stab me ever again. the level of care that they put into taking care of you is UNMATCHED. I got my navel done and they explained the process flawlessly. not only do they have pretty jewelry to pick from but they stand behind their work 100%. I had a problem with my jewelry and ended up losing the piercing shortly after it was done. due to NO FAULT of the shop. truly it was my own bad decisions. I reached out to let Robb know and he got me in THAT DAY to put a new piece in with no charge. truly I cant recommend either of them enough. keep it up guys. truly amazing.

Crimson and Robb are the best. They both take time to understand your anatomy, help with picking jewelry, and are informative through the whole piercing process. Their space is so clean and comfortable. At this point, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had an amazing experience at Crimson and Gold today. I found this place on Google and I knew it would be a great place to go based on the reviews. Crimson was the one who did my navel piercing. I went in super nervous, but they made me feel very comfortable and waited until I was fully ready to be pierced. Everything was EXTREMELY sanitary (hard to come by when most piercing shops just want to get people quickly in and out). The placement for the piercing is perfect and they were just so kind and sweet and patient. This would be the perfect place to get any piercing, especially if you are a little bit nervous. The jewelry selection in the shop is also really impressive. I highly recommend !!!!!!Also, I agree with the other review about the online scheduling. It just simplifies everything. It was easy to get a day-of appointment.

I had a great experience with crimson. I just went in for my final downsize for a nostril piercing. From the first appointment they made me feel very comfortable, relaxed and took the time to answer all my questions. This was my first piercing (other than the 4th grade trip to Clare’s for my ears) and I couldn’t imagine a better experience. The shop is also very clean and super cute not to mention, the jewelry is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Ive been coming to Crimson for a long time! When I was a kid, I got my lobes pierced at Claires and they healed terribly, were itchy and red and hot, and it made me scared to get any other piercings for fear of the same (or worse!) reaction. I came to Crimson when I finally decided to give it a go, and I havent had any issues at all with any of my piercings (conch, helix, more lobes) because she is so clean and careful and attentive. She stocks high-quality jewelry and makes sure that you leave feeling great and you wont have any issues. Ill be back soon for more!

This is the best piercing shop in all of Michigan! They have extremely high levels of cleanliness and care!One of my piercings didnt align with my other piercings. So Crimson took a moment to explain how the piercing will sit and why it would be better to re-pierce. I agreed and the end result was amazing!!!Couldnt recommend this place more

I have had a total of four piercings performed here by Robb, the apprentice. He is very professional and clearly dedicated to his work. He and Crimson work to make the experience as pleasant as possible. The online booking platform is amazing for introverts :)

Crimson was amazing while piercing my daughters ears. My daughter is 8-years-old and was a bit nervous. Crimson was very patient and calm, while being honest with the process and questions my daughter had. I also love that Crimson promotes children making a choice about piercings at any point during the appointment. She definitely made my daughter feel safe and confident. She even “pierced” my daughter’s stuffed animal. Everything was very clean and sterilized. Her jewelry is beautiful and high quality. I wish she were around when I got my piercings! I highly recommend her.

Crimson was very professional with her job but I can’t believe how high the prices are! I came in a while ago to have my septum and nostril rings to be replaced because my old shop’s jewelry would slowly change from gold to silver while in and I wanted a GOOD piece in my nose that wouldn’t change. With that promise of “these won’t change color” not only did they fade to silver quickly than my old shop’s, I was also charged $119 just for the jewelry and change!! Nearly every shop I’ve been to either doesn’t charge to change out jewelry or they’ll charge $5. Why on earth is it $25 to change out jewelry??

Called an hour before closing and they offered to stay open to Pierce us. Super professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you so much Rob!

Lovely staff, very clean and professional. Booked for a nostril and eyebrow piercing with Rob, was in and out in under an hour. Explained all steps during the piercings and thoroughly covered at-home care. Plus, the selection of jewelry is fantastic-- GREAT quality products. I will definitely be back for more!

Crimson is hands down the best piercer I have been to. I had a terrible experience before so I went in super nervous but should not have been because Crimson is just the best. They talked through every step and has a very reassuring presence. Their sanitation methods are top notch and felt very reassuring that you were getting everything sterile and clean. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

Listen...the sad reality is that you never really know you have had a bad piercing by a bad piercer until 1) its much too late, 2) you have a great piercing by an awesome piercer and realize the healing time and process itself SHOULD NOT BE GUT WRENCHINGLY PAINFUL. Save yourself the consequence and suffering of going elsewhere to find out the hard way whether youve had a good or bad piercing. Ive had my share throughout the years and can say from very personal experience, Crimson is the hands-down best piercer in metro Detroit. Her exceptional sanitary measures, premium jewelry and professionalism scratch the surface. She takes the time to explain each step thoroughly, kindly and honestly answering every question before I even had to ask and she knows exactly what she is doing. My piercings are gorgeous, theyve healed beautifully and in less time than the exact same piercings Ive had done elsewhere. Please, if you read no other review, PLEASE dont waste your time, money or compromise a painful piercing. Crimson is the best and should 100% be your first and only piercing stop.

I don’t like my septum ring it’s to small, then they charge 30 bucks just to put earring in, that’s way to much money when u already made a purchase that should come with the purchase, businesses don’t look out for customers anymore they nickel and dime every little thing
