Curt did an amazing job! He was so nice and patient. It was my first tattoo and he was very sweet about it even when I was probably a bit annoying. He was also very accommodating. He copied my nana’s writing perfectly and did an overall amazing job. He talked me through the pain and made sure to make it a comfortable environment. I love it.

I have been trying to add to an existing tattoo for a while, and none of the artists I talked to wanted to help me figure out how it would work best. Rob Gere was fantastic! He helped me build on what I had, and my husband also went to him for a pretty big chest piece. I have since gotten another new tattoo and had an older one recolored by Rob, and all of it has not only been great work, but an even better experience.

Ive been in and out of the shop since july working on the lower part of my sleeve, and i can tell you this is one of the most professional and skills shops! Ive ever been to Ive been tattooed in 5 or more shops by various artists and rarely do you find a shop that is as good as this one, Andy was very friendly and tenative to your request and is a wealth of knowledge on tattooing and styles and is very skilled! I get complements every day about his work on my sleeve and even my wife who is super picky about alot of things likes and trust the shop and Andy to do a fairly large piece very soon ! I wont go to any other shop in the area they have my full trust and future business !!

My family and I went to get tattoos from Bryan, and he did INCREDIBLE! He was very focused, and did excellent line work. I look forward to vacationing and getting tattoos here every summer from here on out. Hes a nice , laid back guy who does great work. Liv was amazing I highly recommend her I came in as a walk in with a short convo over insta liv created the exact tattoo I wanted and did an amazing job I got a memorial piece and I could not be more happy with how it turned out she is so sweet and very talented! Highly recommend if you don’t have a high pain tolerance as she talked me thru the whole tattoo.

Rob has done 2 pieces for me so far and I absolutely love both of them. Very professional and great with detail. I drive 60 miles one way for my ink but it is completely worth it!

I found Rob on Instagram and fell in love with a design he had created. Scheduling was super simple and he was able to fit me into his schedule within the week of initial contact. Not only is his art and tattooing phenomenal but he is also very down earth. He’s super friendly and easy to talk to throughout the entire process. I left with a beautiful tattoo and planning more work with Rob. Highly recommend!

Really impressed with Andys attention to detail and great service. He stands behind his work and conducts himself with great professionalism. I also enjoyed his knowledgeable conversation throughout the session. Although I have no current plans for another tattoo... if I get another, Andy will be the artist doing it!

After using a local tattoo artist that did some work on my arm I was not very impressed with the fine detail of the work and the lines that he did. It looked okay from a distance but when you pay money for work thats going to be permanent I want the best. I had seen a friend of mine had a full sleeve done and the color was amazing. he said Rob at Black Eye Tattoo did it...I went to see him and after a brief consultation of what I wanted and how we were going to make the new tattoo even better I was convinced that he was the man for the job. he knocked it out the park. I had an American Flag with a Bald Eagle done and my old tattooist said he could put white in the flag,,, it was bad.. Rob did it and it looks so cool. In fact I have had so many comments about the whole tattoo.he just did another for me on my chest with my dogs ashes in her paw print, this turned out better than I could ever imagine.Rob is now working on a full sleeve for me and it commences on Monday 4th January.. Super excited. Thanks again Rob, keep up the great work

Went in for two large filler pieces on my sleeve, Mike was my artist. Professional, clean, and did an amazing job. The shop decor is a nice distraction while your being tattooed. All the artists were very pleasant . Mikes attention to detail was awesome and I’m so glad I decided to come into Black eye tattoo!

Shop is super clean. Everyone is friendly. Ive been going here for years and have always enjoyed my visits. Art work is always on point. Have recommended and will continue to recommend Black Eye Tattoo and Rob to anyone looking for a new tattoo.

I dont like to give poor ratings because the artwork Ive seen come out of the shop looked great. Unfortunately, I came to an artist for a half sleeve piece, I paid for the concept art on the spot. We had some communication over a month and finally I saw a partial sketch. The artist works at the shop for two days, so I figured he was busy on those days.I was a paying customer who waited patiently over a month to get this piece started. I stated I was on a time range as Im in the military; 4 months to get the artwork to what I desire and on my skin. Communication dropped on his end, and when I got a hold of him. I felt I was trying to be schemed into hurrying up into an appointment when I wasnt satisfied with the partial sketch.I wish things worked out and I could have got a piece done by him because I like his work. Be wary of this shop, they only accept cash as well. Perhaps less tax to write off, and/or avoid any kind of negative backlash if something were to go wrong...

Nothing but great things to say. Ive had a tattoo that Ive been trying to get covered up for years that no artist ever wanted to work on. I came in and met Rob who didnt hesitate to help me out. He was honest with me and told me the idea I had wouldnt work but helped me come up with a design that Im very happy with and ended up expanding to a full sleeve. Will definitely be back for more ink soon.

This place is awesome and very professional. Rob is an excellent artist and does excellent tattoos. I highly recommend you go see Rob for any work you need. They wear masks and everything for covid precautions.

Amazing group of fellas. Rob has done all of my work. The nice thing about this shop is they dont charge you left arm right pinky toe! They are the one of the best priced parlors in town! If you are visiting the area, I highly suggest you check them out before you check out the shops downtown!

Rob is the BEST tattoo guy! He has been the only one I will go to from the time he drew and gave me awesome koi fish on the tops of my feet, and the last one was a sea turtle he drew and did on my back!

I had a tattoo done there recently by Rob. Got recommendations from multiple friends and I don’t regret listening to them. The end work came out to be exactly what I envisioned and expected it to be. Very reasonable pricing, most definitely would recommend this place.

First tattoo. Rob saw a mark coming. Charged $150 for twenty five minutes work. Caveat emptor. Live and learn. Three friends want the same tat, but I must send them elsewhere. Unfortunate...

Best place to get one, after a couple bad apples I tried this one and wont go anywhere else! Great attitude, prices and art. I will go back over and over and there is even an ink master in town but Ill choose these guys over him!
