Voodoo Lounge Tattoo and Piercing Studio

After 3 months of getting my piercings done by Alex I can say that it was a great experience, the tips provided for a great healing experience have been perfect, I love my piercings and I highly recommend them if you are thinking about getting one done. Very professional, knowledgeable, patient and clean.

This was a breathe of fresh air. I wont say what shop, but I initially went to another shop in Arlington area and was very unprofessional and I did not get service there. Came here and was a little hidden gem. I was looking for a big sign but there tucked away and when I first walked in ..first impression was very clean..loved the decor. Was greeted shortly after coming in and asked what service we were coming in for..which were piercings. We were explained how she would come back to help when finished with her current clients. She explained everything thoroughly and was so professional. She made my daughter and niece feel so at ease talking them through every step. They said was quick and almost painless how well she works. This is one of the top shops Ive seen Arlington area.

Went in just for a quote. Saw some work and decided to get my tattoo. Ryan is a cool guy had a conversation going that I didn’t even realize how long it took to finish the tattoo. Tattoo came out great definitely going in for more.

This review is for Alex F.GO TO ALEX!Had gotten a piercing by previous artist at Voodoo, it healed very well. So I went back. I was sad to hear that the person no longer was with Voodoo, but, as soon as I sat down, I knew I was in good hands.Alex immediately addressed the hazards of having a piercing and then informed me of techniques and methods used to ensure a safe and well placed piercing.An absolute perfectionist when it came to matching my right side nostril to the left. The angle of it couldn’t have been more perfect. Minimum pain, almost no bleeding. I got a second piercing while I was there, a conch. The conch literally did not bleed!!Alex took the time to check my ear’s angle, structure, thickness, and how my other cartilage piercings lined up. The needle went in smoothly and, once again, the angle was PERFECT!!!Even offered to switch out the jewelry for me once it’s healed enough to safely touch.I have a total of 7 piercings and the two Alex performed on me are hands down my absolute favorite.I would recommend Alex F. to anybody and everybody interested in a piercing.For the people who may think this is a fluff review, my name is Jeremiah, look me up on instagram and I will show you pictures.Insta: bakedham94

I felt very welcomed, it was a blind tattoo where I got to pick a category, color, and placement and the artist did her magic.The tattoo artist Ariel was very nice she had a very light touch to her so it barely hurt. She talked to me and was very personable during the entire tattooing and I love the outcome of my tattoo. Shes very good on her pricing, cheaper than most tattoo artists. I will definitely be coming back to her.

New update: tattoo artist was in touch with us trying to schedule a touch up to make things right but then just ghosted us. We will be going elsewhere to get these touched up and color added. Would not recommend this tattoo artist or shop.Update: now that they are healed a little more we can really tell that the line work is not what we wanted. It is pretty shaky and inconsistent especially for the price we paid, I just felt wrong leaving my initial review up in case someone else wouldn’t be okay with this kind of work. I am pretty disappointed to say the least.My husband and I both got tattoos by Leo and he was awesome! He worked with us every step of the way and really made us feel at home!

Emmy did an amazing job! I got 3 piercings and she made sure I was okay during the whole process and went through all the steps before piercing! Fantastic work!

Emmy was incredibly professional and put our daughter at ease very quickly. From deciding where to place the piercing to explaining how to care for it, Emmy was clear and meticulous every step of the way. Our daughter could not be happier and that makes us happy. Avril, the owner and one of the artists, was with us the whole time and was an absolute joy to talk with. I asked Avril if anyone in the shop specialized in a particular art style and thats when we met Bradi. She was as engaging and kind as everyone else in the shop. The people are wonderful to be sure and the studio itself is extraordinarily clean and decorated in an eclectic style.There is a lot of work that myself and my wife want to get done and I can say, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that Voodoo Lounge Tattoo will be getting every bit of that business.

Love this place! The shop is immaculate and everyone says hello when you walk in the door. Youre definitely not standing around waiting for someone to greet you. Avril did an awesome job on my tattoo! She walks you throught the process before getting it done, explains the aftercare and even follows up with you to make sure your tattoo is healing properly.

I participated in a blindfold challenge. I was giving a list to mark my 3 top options, color and location. The artist picked based on what I marked on the list . When revealed I LOVED IT! Ariel did and amazing job matching the art work to the rest of the pieces I already have and my personality. The reason behind her work is makes her a true angel!

Barron has been my tatto artist for a while now. And I can say I am please and amazed whit his work. I spent some time looking for the perfect piercer. Emmy was like a dream! She was so thorough and comforting. This place is a new location. Avril is the owner and is so professional and personable. We felt welcome as we brought in our two daughters to come in and get their ears pierced for the first time. Emmy pierced both girls’ ears and did a phenomenal job. She was very sweet and patient and helped walk us through the entire process. Our girls loved her!

Was really expecting the worst as far as pain, bleeding and eye watering lol but none of it happened. It was over with before I knew what happened! SHES THE BEST!..... I also got a tattoo done today by Se7en .. he is an amazing artist and does amazing work!! He did a memorial tattoo for me for my parents passing. Their peircer Emmy handled herself very well. She did an excellent job explaining the peircing process, aftercare, and worked with me on placement. I am severely anemic and at risk of passing out, and she gave me plenty of time to rest, as well as a soda to help prevent that. All in all she was awesome, did wonderfull job, and Id come back in a heartbeat.

Im visiting from Virginia and wanted ink in Texas. Leo was artist but by at the end of the session I had made a friend.This place is amazing. Never have I been greeted and treated the way I was by Leo and the other staff there. Overall amazing experience. As far as the work goes that Leo did on my leg I feel bad cause I couldnt pay him what he deserved. My colors are brilliant, line work phenomenal and contrast was perfect. I had a vision and let him run with it and he brought my Tattoo to life. Blessed to have had such a great experience. I will be flying back to Texas if nothing just to visit and let guy get to work. 10/10 best experience ever! You rock Leo

The tattoo artist was extremely nice but she is not a great artist. She provided horrible after-care instructions which caused my tattoo to smear and my husband’s tattoo has halfway disappeared. We were aware that the tattoo would fade but it faded away in less than 2 weeks. They also up-charge for everything. Went to a different place & the quality of our tattoos are much better & they also give you after-care products for FREE!Again, nice people but the level of talent is just not there. Most people give 5 star reviews because they give you a discount on their products if you do.

The piercer that works at this place is hands down the Absolute best! Her name is Emily Goodin. AKA “Emmy”. Emmy did my lip piercing, my nose piercing, my dermal on my high cheek bone and she has also pierced my 2 year old daughters ears and my 11 year old sons ears. Every time I went back to her for a piercing her work was very Thorough! She took her time and she did amazing! All of our piercings healed amazing! I will say that I highly recommend her if you want to get a piercing and I also highly recommend this place!

I had got tattooed by Wolf, I had kept up with him for a full year before finally sitting down to have my chance. He has a very light hand. Made it the most comfortable and calm experience for me. Paid attention to my cautions during the tattoo process. Kept checking in. The whole staff was pretty awesome at making me feel like I was in great hands and in a great atmosphere! Definitely going back !

So I had my first tattoo here. I have been hesitant about getting a tattoo for awhile now, but I finally jumped into the experience. I had Trevor (Wolf). He is extremely professional and kind. He walked me through every detail of what he was doing, down to even the minute details. We cracked jokes, and he really helped me with the nerves I had. I now have a beautiful piece. Emmy is a great piercer she takes you through the steps and she shows you all the stuff she is using she ask you if your allergic to anything. She tells you to take deep breath’s and she tells you when she’s about to pierce what you are getting done and she’s just amazing I would recommend coming to her when you want a piercing.

My first visit to this parlor was interesting to say the least, i showed up just looking for some ink therapy for a minimal tattoo (letters) , i was extremely impressed with the atmosphere and immediately knew i would be a return customer. I actually set up another appointment for something more detailed, i explained to Bri the amazing artist I had encountered on my first visit (who did a fantastic job on for mentioned (minimal tattoo)) what design i had in mind. Bri went above and waayyy beyond to create an original masterpiece i now have permanently stuck to me, and i couldnt be happier. Not only is the art amazing but, being in this parlor (even as a customer) has such a strong welcoming presence. i felt like part of the family, the rest of the crew who were working on pieces for other clientele all shared the same positive energy you kind of want while being under the needle. I went in for a change out for my daith and Emmy was literally amazing!! She was so sweet, so really helped me out!! I was in so much pain!! But she gave my ear a clean and I loved her energy!!

Three of us came in for Friday 13th celebration. (My bday was on 10th.) We were all treated so WELL. Very reasonable special prices. Surprise twist was finding out the artists were friends with the same people as my son and daughter-in-law years ago in Midlothian. Avril did my pentagram in a gorgeous purple ink. She has been great with after care monitoring since I had a slight reaction. E & P’s black pentagrams are perfect! Looking forward to getting more gorgeous art on our bodies in the future!!

So I went in for a cover up.The artist started on me at 2:30pm and didnt finish until a little past 7:30pm.. We scrolled threw a few pics together and decided on what he swore he could do...he even went into detail about how the feather would look raised up would like very nice...Every single person that sees my tattoo asks what is it? Or, Why does it look like that? The only response I have is its Supposed to be a falling feather and the bottom is Supposed to be the shadow and the two lines are Supposed to be the stem and the shadow of the stem The response I get. Oh you need to go back and have him fix that Wow, whered you go You should have hit me up and I would have referred you somewhere else.Very disappointed!

This is a fantastic place to get your Tattoos if you have an appreciation of art drawn by a kindergartener. The unfortunate Artists that work in this facility simply do not possess the skill set to do actual adult ink work. I know they all try, god bless them. Remember, I warned you, I’ve seen some of these so called masterpieces. Just disgusting!
