Kevin, the owner, took amazing care of me. I called when my new Rook piercing fell out and I couldn’t put it back in on my own. Within 30 minutes of my call, he had me in his chair replacing both Rook piercings at almost closing time.I can’t wait to revisit this facility when I want new piercings and a new tattoo. Everyone was so lovely and personable. Highly advise!!!

Seriously the best place!! I went in with no clue how to describe the tattoo design I wanted but Steven just started drawing and gave me the most perfect tattoo!! So nice and so incredibly talented. Cant wait to go back for more in the future.

The place was clean and have a feeling of being open its a pleasant environment and organized and just all around.my new ink is perfect! just as how i wanted and asked forthe artist i was lucky enough to work with was Steve hes so approachable and answered my questions without looking annoyed or like im asking too much. hes awesome and kept reaasuring me im doing good and ill be fine coz its my first tattoo.. all around awesome place even work area is clean and organized. definitely recommended

My son got his first piercing there this weekend. It was walk in and he was taken care of quickly. The gentleman who pierced him was so nice and did a great job.

Been coming here at least 10 years never had a bad experience. Prices are always on point. Steve really did an excellent job. It’s the only place I get my tattoos.

Went for a walk in today not a long wait Jessie did my tattoo hes very patient great with his work. Im more then satisfied my tattoo came out very nice.

I have been getting tattoos from different shops for the past 17 years and since I found Josh at Freehold Tattoo, I havent gone to any other shop. The place is clean, the discourse is always entertaining and the prices are fair, especially since the quality of the work is so high.I recommend this place to everyone that asks about my ink!

Would recommend Freehold Tattoo 100%. Kevin just performed a beautiful first time ear piercing for my daughter, and it couldnt have been smoother. He is so professional and talked us through the process offering his expert knowledge. This is the only place I would trust for piercings.

Kevin pierced my 6 month old ears today and he was absolutely fabulous ! Had patience and worked efficiently!! Handled a baby crying perfectly!! Not to mention he did a wonderful job !

Kevin and Brian have a very clean shop always making sure you get what you want. I had a few small tattoos done there....the most recent was an original after a couple of my favorite people passed away in 2017 - My Amazing Grace tattoo was drawn by me but Brian cleaned it up and its excellent.....12 wing edges to represent the 12 apostles was a great addition .....Brian took good care of me - PLUS THEY PLAY GREAT MUSIC IN THEIR SHOP! Keeping it Freehold! Thanks guys!

I got 3 tattoos done more than a week & a half ago. Had the pleasure of working with Josh, he was more than accommodating, very clean & sterile, & had a pleasant energy. This was my first experience ever with tattoos. I can say the shop is clean, welcoming & interesting with its art. The rooms are small, however, the artists get the job done & if you have someone with you, they can stay by your side.I was able to interact with Kevin as well for a bit & he seemed like a nice going individual. Overall, the prices seemed reasonable. The healing, of course, to do as well with keeping up with cleaning them on my own, has gone well.I am planning on coming back once the summer is gone. Kudos to the wonderful artists at this business.

Please ONLY go here! Cool, clean, and normal fun guys—not on the fringe of society like other scum shops. They all do good work and are fun to talk to and conversational.

I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get tattooed. Always a great experience here, the staff is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable at what they do.

I absolutely love the guys at this place I used Marc the first time. I used Brian for my next and they were both great. Everyone is chill and makes you feel relaxed. I will definitely be coming back again. They do beautiful work and I am very Happy with them.

Seeing Marc with clients prior to our turn, I knew my sister was in good hands for her first tattoo. He took good care of her and Im extremely pleased with my tattoo as well. The time and effort he put into perfecting my mothers handwriting really shows in the end result. I highly recommend this shop. Its a professional yet chill atmosphere. Keep doing what you do guys!

This is definitely my favorite shop, got two tattoos here so far and am more then happy with both of them. I was tattooed by Brian and by Kyle ( at separate times ). Their apprentice is a really cool dude along with everyone there! Only met Kevin for a short amount of time and didnt get much time to chat with him but from what Ive heard hes a great guy too! Overall great experience in the shop and Ill be back very soon !

Marc is such an incredible artist. Any nerves I had going in there for the first time disappeared within minutes of talking to him. From start to finish, it was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! The rest of the staff is very friendly as well. I talked to Brian when I first arrived- he was really kind and helpful when introducing me to Marc. Freehold Tattoo will always be my top choice for tattoos moving forward.

Great atmosphere in the shop, owner Kevin is such a down to earth, cool guy. Rest of the guys in the shop have skill and great customer service. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for great work. Have a whole sleeve from Kevin and love each piece.

Brian did an amazing job giving me 2 tribute pieces for my parents. Sent him numerous pics and renderings of what I was looking for a week before the appointment. The finished product came out terrific!

I was a walk in where I just need a touchup from a tattoo that was done at the NY tattoo expo and I was done right on the spot by Nick who just happened to have a last minute cancellation. The shop was nice and the artists there were all really friendly and laid back. Everyone was working on a client at the time and even at closing there was a wait in the waiting room. It was a really cool shop and Nick did a spectacular job. One of the guys there was getting a sleeve and it looked really sick! Good experience.

I have been using Brian for many years now. I lost count on the amout of tattoos he has given me. Pure talent he has, also everyone in the shop is nothing but pure talent. I wish I can give more then 5 stars!

No way. Went in for a piercing and the staff were not friendly and seemed put out by us. Took their own sweet time disinfecting the materials. Then, after waiting 30 minutes, we were told that they forgot to autoclave the instrument to close the piercing and that would take another hour. While I appreciate the effort of cleanliness, it was a major inconvenience. I guess they didn’t think to check the equipment first ??

Awesome experience and great staff. Marc made me feel so comfortable getting my first tattoo and it came out amazing. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely be going back in the future.

The ABSOLUTE Worst Place AroundThey did a piece for me 7 years ago that looked horrible after one week.The piece was supposed to be in remembrance of my dad.Would NOT recommend going here.

Excellent job, pain free (although he said that it normally hurts somewhat), clean and sterile enviroment, great artwork. We talked the whole 2 hours it took so it only felt like 20 minutes (and they were fun to talk to).

Always so patient and friendly, we get all our piercings done here.

Its the best. I love my tattoo so much and it was done with perfect care. Cant wait to go back for my next one.

My teenage daughter has had 2 cartilage piercings and her nose pierced her. It is very clean, staff is friendly and they are quick!

Place is very nice and clean. Artists are really chill. They do really nice work and prices are very reasonable!

Walk in at 1pm was told theres a 2 and a half 3 hour wait so decide to just wait it out end up waiting 7 hours just for some douchebag to draw up something that was nothing like what I asked for and when I inform him that I dont like it he begins to give me attitude and tell me he cant tattoo me never again will I go back there I advise anyone looking to get a tattoo to not go there as well.
