All the Employees at banter have amazing customer service. They are super welcoming greeting you as soon as you walk up and answering any questions or concerns you may have! I had been wanting a septum piercing for a long time, I just couldnt find anybody that I trusted. I found someone named Mouse and her Instagram page and I reached out. I told her that I had some anxiety about pain, placement and etc. She immediately put my mind at ease, so I went up there. She was very professional and eased my anxiety; not to mention she was very hygienic and made sure every single apparatus she touched was sterile! Its important to note that, I can tell all the employees there take a lot of pride in their work and career! Its been about a week since I got it done and I couldnt be happier! This is my second time buying earrings here and my first time getting pierced by this staff. All staff from my experience are very willing to help off the bat. I was browsing for new earrings with a temptation for getting another piercing. I had ideas from Pinterest of the look I was going for and Anya made my vision board a reality! My ear jewelry went from “eh” to “yay!!” All it took was a few new pieces and of course my new stacked lobe piercings. Thank you Anya!

Called to ask some questions and was not happy how they presented themselves. I asked if they used a gun to pierce and they said only for minors under 13 according to Texas laws. Well that information in not correct, there is NO laws stating that. If thats their policy, they could have just said that instead of lying and giving misinformation. When I questioned why would that law would exist, she got rude and short with me trying to end the call abruptly. I then called more reputable piercing places and they confirmed that is was not a law for under 13 to not be allowed to get pierced with hollow needles. Just lost my business.

My younger sister and I came here to get piercings. She came for her first piercing and I got a rook piercing. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable! I was looking for an 18g flat back nose stud when I finally found one at Banter Pagoda inside Baybrook Mall. The selection of jewelry was plentiful and customer service was outstanding!!! I had great experience at the Baybrook location. All three girls that were working took such good care of us. We went to all the jewelry stores in the mall and were told an ID necklace would never make it in time for Christmas for our daughter. A competitor said you should have ordered on black friday but these ladies took time to listen, even suggested ways to get it as fast as possible. They were cheerful, sweet and welcoming. Thank you for your amazing customer service its refreshing!

My piercer Anya at Baybrook Mall was amazing! She checked my anatomy of my nose and explained how the piercing would looked due to my anatomy. She went over jewlery selection and after care and answered any questions I had. When I let her know that I sometimes get lightheaded with stuff like this she sent me to eat a snack and get a drink before getting pierced. When it was time she cleaned and walked me through every step. I could tell she really cared as she kept asking me how I was doing during the whole process. She was kind and patient. I would not hesitate to recommend her and all her coworkers were nice as well. I will be back for my piercings and my sons ears pierced when he is ready. My only issue was I wish I could have given her a tip but other than that everything was great!

I have shopped and spent thousands of dollars with pagoda since I was a kid. Honestly Ive only encountered one bad experience with your establishment over the past 30 yrs about 5 yrs ago out in Katy hence why I drive from Spring, Tx just to buy and get help. Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Baybrook have always took care of us when it comes to our jewelry. Completely understand the policies, but every time since these policy have gone into play that I have had an issue with one my pieces. Management knew how to solve the issue whether it be I pay the difference, make another purchase, or simply purchase another warranty. There are so many ways to make claims to take care of your regular clientele, especially when it comes to claiming a loss. Why because this is what real management does for them, instead of shrugging them off. If Im the assistant manager and unfortunately there is nothing we can do is good enough for your management team. They should definitely go back and get a coaching and a couple of classes in hospitality management. Like I told the asst. manager today as she could have closed about a 2000 dollar sale in jewelry simply by thinking outside of the box when comes to business management and good clientele. I dont come here to cheat anyone or to be a cheap just to get a new piece. I shop with pagoda because of the service I receive after spending plenty of money on jewelry every other holiday or anniversary. I dont just show up asking for free stuff I show up for help and we also show up to make large purchases.

The manager lisa was the perfect person for the job. Im a first time mom and my stomach hurt because I was initially so nervous for my six month old. Lisa walked me through the process and let me watch the customer ahead of me.I spent almost sixty and it included the warranty, 14k earrings and travel size solution.She was thorough yet speedy! Im 32 and really wanted a second piercing on my earlobe. Got it here because a tattoo shop had a long wait. They did take care of me but the earring seems a little tight. I did get one of the smallest jewels they had just for the piercing until I change it. Maybe its just a little swelling so i will do an update on it. The person that did it was cool but very serious and doesnt take jokes. I was nervous I needed jokes. Lol! The rate was on the earring for the piercing though not on her. Idk what the price is for ears at a tat shop but this should have been way cheaper then what it was IMO.

Clerks walked me through piercing process and aftercare in great detail. I forgot one of my earrings that I purchased at the store and they shipped it to me. Very kind and lots of pure gold for reasonable prices.

I had to call out to the lady working there twice before she finally turned around to acknowledge me. Then she couldnt even say hello or smile, or know basic facts about metals...such as yellow gold being better for extra sensitive skin than white gold for ear piercings. No thanks, Ill take my babies to a professional and somebody who actually knows what theyre talking about.

This place is absolutely unprofessional. Don’t even waste your time getting your ears pierced here. First of all, they told us we have 90 days to come back if we encounter any problems. They specifically mentioned “ear piercing closing, and infection.” So, We come back within the 90 days. The lady said “oh no. That’s false information.” Uhm, “false information”??? So you guys just give out false information and charge people for service that you said was covered? I am not bothered that I had to pay to get them pierced again. It’s the fact that they said “oops false info.” Don’t tell customers they have the option to come back for free and when they come back, you charge them. Even if it’s “false info”, other places would honor it. Employees should definitely be on the same page and go through the guidelines before announcing information to customers.

***DO NOT PIERCE YOUR BABIES EARS HERE!!!*** I took my baby to get her ears pierced and they messed up and had to re-do them. The first time they pierced her ears they were completely off. The girl didnt even pierce on the dot she made. They had to re-do the piercing and put my daughter through pain twice. It was a horrible putting my baby through that two times. Please do not pierce your babies ears at this place because you will regret it!

This place is a rip off! My sweet great grandma sent my 6 year old daughter over 30 charms and without realizing, 3 were the same charms. Well they refused to let her swap them out with tags still present and verified purchase through my great grandmas account. My daughter left crying and when I called corporate they put me on hold and then said they couldnt help me so I was out of options. I said, are you serious?! And then they hung up on me!! They will NOT honor anything you purchase here. Dont shop somewhere that will not even help a crying little girl over a $20 charm.

These guys are not at all good, we went to do ear piercing to my 2 yrs kid and they did the piercing and after they did for both ears we observed that one for one ear it did not worked properly means the back screw was still on the hand gun and then lady realized and removed it from hand gun and put it by hand after we told that it is missing. Once we are back to home the the back screw is coming out more frequently and we keep on observing all the time... this is too bad as even though we spend $50

The store hours say theyre open but there was nobody at the kiosk. I passed by a few times and there was never anyone there. The hours need to be changed online to reflect actual store hoursI visited 8/5 around 1:00

DO NOT LET THEM PIERCE YOUR CARTILAGE WITH A GUN! I did not do my research on what a piercing gun could do to your cartilage before I got it pierced. I didn’t know that it would shatter my cartilage and I would not be able to wear a piercing in it. It was never infected, and I took care of it but it hurt so bad and such a pain even after the skin was healed. I decided to have someone look at it and they told me my cartilage was shattered, asking how I got it pierced he suspected that was the reason and told me to not wear jewelry in it as it could make it worse. So don’t get cartilage pierced with a gun, which is what they do here..

I was the mom who didn’t want to put my baby through pain so I refused to pierce her ears but today something said just do it and so I got my 5 month old baby’s ears pierced I was super nervous about it but they were quick and very informative totally recommend ❤️

Gosh these idiots psyched my kid out of getting her ears pierced right before doin it and wasnt able to refund because they already opened them. Tip dont freaking talk about it for 10 minutes to them!!!! Just freaking do it!!!

A piercing gun is NOT a safe or clean way to get a piercing, one should always go to a professional piercing shop rather than a mall kiosk.
