We love Fabian, me and my 2 friends came here on our vacay and got matching tattoos! He was professional and so nice! Then my husband and I came back the next day and he jumped right on getting us tatted so we could head back home to Oklahoma. Would definitely come back to Body Language if ever in Galveston again!!

If you and your family are looking for a spot to get a tattoo at on vacation like me and mine , looking for a good star - good review , something professional and trustworthy, coming here was the BEST decision. The artists Leo and Fabian did amazing work on my parents as well as me and my sister. Very friendly people who work with you to get you what you want done, we are beyond satisfied with what we walked away with. We can collectively agree we would personally come back to this spot for some more ink! (-: Leo did the beautiful turtle pictured and a very well line work jellyfish ( not pictured ) Fabian did the amazing polynesian style shark as well as my outlined starfish!

I went last night for the Friday the 13th flash sale which was also my first Friday the 13th tattoo. Fabian did such an amazing job, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! I was going to get it right under my elbow but he talked to me about placement and suggested right above my other tattoo which was an amazing idea. They look so good together! He talked to me and made sure I felt comfortable and was doing okay the whole time. I 1000 out of 10 recommend checking them out and asking for Fabian! Thank you again for such an amazing tattoo and such a great experience!

Fabian is amazing. He took the time to listen to my idea. I asked his opinion and he shared it with me but made sure it was my decision. He has an amazing vision and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Eric worked with my husbands piercings and did an amazing job.

Best piercing experience I’ve ever had! Some friends and I dropped in from out of town with intentions for a friend to get a tattoo. The friend chickened out on her foot tattoo, (I hope Eric sees this) but some of us were determined to leave our girl’s trip with “something”. Eric gave us the best experience! The shop was super clean and he went above and beyond to ensure we went home with proper aftercare. I’m absolutely loving my helix piercing. Never have i ever been able to sleep on a freshly pierced ear without pain. He has the touch of an angel!!

Body language tattoo shop was just plain amazing. The shop was clean, inviting and very professional looking. Eric was super nice and greeted us with respect. Fabian was an amazing artist. He did everything the way I wanted to and more. He cared for my concerns and needs. He made me feel comfortable every step of the way. The price was also extremely reasonable. My mom, sister and I could not be happier with our experience here last night (7/21)! We wanted something that was handwritten by our family members and we brought it half in on a digital copy, half hard copy and Alex was able to put it all together for us perfectly-listening closely to our adjustments and making it even better than we could’ve imagined. It was my sister and mom’s first tattoo and the entire shop made it a phenomenal experience. The owner (Susie) talked to us personally and made us feel right at home and made sure every step was done well. Memories to last a lifetime—literally! Besides my 1st lobes, I have gotten all of my piercings (2nd/3rd/4th lobes, helix, conch, tragus, and nose) done by Eric since I started coming to Body Language about a year ago. Always a fantastic experience! Eric is phenomenal - he is patient, thorough, and makes sure the placement is perfect. Everything has healed/is healing wonderfully and I’m looking forward to getting more! Eric has done such a great job, as well, that even my mom (who is incredibly nervous with needles) had her 3rd lobes & nose piercing done. Would definitely recommend!!!

This tattoo parlor was far and beyond your run-of-the-mill tattoo parlor you might think of. I have been too many parlors in my life, and this one made me feel comfortable. What was most important was that the artist paid very close attention to what I wanted, and only offered his input when it was needed. Everything was brilliantly done. Very highly recommended.

Got my first ever tattoo here. They made me feel very comfortable, asked follow-up questions, and gave me multiple variations of the design to choose from. We had great conversation and they gave very detailed aftercare instructions. I will definitely be coming back for future tattoos.

Kevin did my tattoos it was a great experience both times. He made sure I felt comfortable the whole time as well as being friendly, courteous, and professional. In fact the rest of the shop members did as well. If I’m ever in town again I’ll make sure to have him add to my collection.

My sister and I got tattoos from Milos on Feb 5, 2024 and we were super impressed. Hes an excellent artist with impeccable line work, and he really helped our rough design ideas come to life. Everyone at the shop was super friendly. Great vibes, which is important to me! Oh, and they were able to fit us in as walk-ins, which is super nice when you randomly find yourself with some extra time and tattoo money burning a hole in your pocket :-D

I got my tattoo done by Milos at Body Language tattoo and piercings. I was a walk-in and was fairly self conscious about my design. Milo’s didn’t give me any time to change my mind and perfected my design first try basically. He really listened and even let me know I could add small details as he was going. Chill guy had an awesome conversation with him while we made progress. I was scared we wouldn’t have time to finish but he assured me I wouldn’t leave with an unfinished tattoo and I didn’t! 10/10 recommend Milos and Body Language tattoo!

My tattoo artist was Milos and I had such a wonderful experience! This was a spur of the moment tattoo so of course I was worried about if it would come out good, but his work was so detailed and beautiful that all of my concerns quickly faded. If you’re wanting an amazing tattoo I 100% recommended going to Milos, I definitely will be making the trip down to get more tattoos from him!!!

Id been wanting to get my belly button pierced for a little over a year, but didnt want to do it at home, since I pierced my nose at home and it went wrong in every way possible. Ill admit, I was nervous, coming to the shop, since I have no pain tolerance, and Im ticklish. Brenna, probably sensed that I was nervous, and she really was polite and and professional. She assured that the piercing would be in the right spot. . . She used a clamp, and the clamp hurt a tiny bit, I internally panicked becuase if the clamps hurt I couldnt imagine how painful the needle would be. As I laid down, I admitted my squeamishness and low pain tolerance, she was kind about it, she talked about non piercing related topics, so my anxiety wouldnt forefront my concentration. The piercing was insanely quick, and felt like a pinch, barely painful. She was thorough about cleaning it before and after. She was amazing at explaining the aftercare and Im so glad that I went with the shop. Brenna was everything and more, one could want from a piercer.

Two weeks ago, my fiancé, two of my best friends and I went in to get tattoos. An appointment was made but we were about 45 minutes late due to the ferry taking way longer than expected. They still took us in immediately. Milos was my fiancé and I’s artist, and words do not express how amazing he did on our tattoos. I went in wanting two thin line tattoos. One not even drawn out because I had no idea what font I wanted. Milos made suggestion and provided numerous font suggestions. Milos also did the same thing for my fiancé and had to draw his out because my fiancé reference pictures were terrible. The shop employees were so much fun to be around as well, when someone had to wait for another person in our group. Milos even provided valued information for future tattoos. The experience from communicating to make an appointment to the every end of the session was outstanding. I highly recommend this business. My fiancé and I would drive the three hours from Louisiana just to come here again (hopefully soon).

Body Language is an awesome tattoo shop! While in Galveston, my boyfriend got tattooed by Susie, and my friend and I decided to get tattooed by her the next day. She was so fun and did an awesome job on our tattoos!

They took me as a walk in and from the beginning they were all wonderful. Originally my daughter wanted her ears pierced and then didnt, but I went ahead and got my septum done. They were all friendly, the lady I originally talked to and set things up (i didnt catch her name) was very nice and even did up a gorgeous tattoo for my daughter. Susie was my piercer, she was so great, precise and did an amazing job. She explained the aftercare perfectly to me, and the best ways to clean it. Visiting from MO, and wish I could visit this place for all my piercing needs. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Absolutely amazing place!! I took my oldest daughter in 2014 to get her belly button pierced and I got my ear helix done!! We went on vacation with my middle daughter almost 10 years later from South Dakota and we both got our noses pierced and the guy that did it(sorry I forgot his name) was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable!! We had such a amazing experience!! We love you guys!!

We walked in around 12:30 on a Wednesday for a septum piercing and some other jewelry pieces. Brenna and her apprentice were amazing. She walked us through every step she was taking, even explaining the sterilization process while I filled out the paperwork.Right after the piercing I felt slightly nauseated, and there was no judgement while they turned the fan on me and helped me cool off/feel better.Their jewelry selection was nice and their prices were more than fair. If I decide to get another piercing or tattoo when I’m back in Galveston, I know exactly where I’ll go.

Stopped in to get info/appt and ended up walking out with a beautiful tattoo on my hand. Everyone there is friendly and kind. Gary was my artist and he was knowledgeable and did a great job. I have a few more tats to get and will definitely be going back!

Milo’s is the best tattoo artist around. I’ve got to him three different times now and each time I bring someone new and they pick him as their go-to artist now because he’s so wonderful. His fine lines are the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to over a dozen different artist from all around the states. He also customizes and redraws the tattoo to your likening so it’s unique to you! 10/10 would recommend and he’s very fast and proficient. I would recommend anyone to Milo’s!For piercings I would totally recommend Eric! He’s such a sweetheart and a funny guy. He’s awesome to go to for piercings and a lovely conversation! These guys are the best here!

I have had a few sessions with Milos and I am incredibly happy with the results so far. The experience every time has been wonderful. The shop owner and all employees that Ive interacted with have all been very warm and welcoming. They are a very busy shop, which is great! But keep that in mind when you make an appointment or walk in. You may have a wait. But I promise you, it will be well worth it. 10 out of 10.

My wife and I went in to get tattoos. We wrote out what we wanted (simple letters), and he quoted us at $100 per tattoo as the shop minimum is $80. I agreed. The artist then finished our tattoos and ended up charging us $370 instead of the $200 that was originally agreed upon.Artist was good, but I don’t appreciate people going back on their word. 7 words less than an inch big, should not cost $370. I have a half sleeve that I only paid $650 for.Go to a different shop. You’ll be happier there.

Just had the most incredible experience at Body Language! My mom had an appointment scheduled with the incredible Miss Susie for her first ever tattoo. While there, I had major FOMO and decided I wanted a tattoo also. The stars aligned and Milos was available and did the most incredible fine line butterfly for me. We are both thrilled with our results and my mom said shes already ready for her next one. Dont hesitate to book here!

55 years old and my first tattoo experience could not have been better!!! I was nervous and Alex could not have made me feel more comfortable. My daughters and I got a handwritten tribute and it turned out beautiful! The entire experience was great, 5 stars!!

My experience was top notch. Friday the 13 specials had the place packed but it was well worth the wait. While waiting the guy up front kept us entertained the whole time. My best friend and I went in to this studio this past weekend to get matching tattoos. We had a design in mind and Milos made a suggestion, tweeked it just a little bit and made it PERFECT!! I had to get my ear re-pierced and it was super simple the people were super nice and it was fairly quick!! It was also super chill and the vibes were good. I would definitely get another piercing here or a tattoo.

Eric was the person that pierced my cartilage and he did amazing! He took the time to tell me how long the instruments would be sterilized, showed me all of the piercing equipment, and talked me through the entire process. You can tell that he really cares about his clients, not only him but everyone who works at the shop. He also went through aftercare for my piercing in great detail and answered any questions I had. This is also one of the cleanest tattoo/piercing shops I have ever seen. I am so happy with my piercing and would recommend it to friends and family. The next time I’m in Galveston, I will definitely be back! :))

My husband and I came down for a short get away and decided I would get the tattoo I’ve been wanting for a while. So when we were looking for the right place we called ahead and they were very polite over the phone acted like they actually wanted our business. Daniel was very professional and everything was clean and sanitized. I’m a nurse and kinda nervous when it comes to how clean things are especially tattoo needles. He unpackaged everything and was very kind and patient with me. I would definitely recommend going to this establishment for future tattoo’s. He also touched up my small cross on my wrist for free which is rare to see someone go the extra mile. So thank you again for making this experience memorable.

Tattoos are amazing. Me and some friends got some tattoos for a bachelorette trip. They are very clean and precise. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond for me and my friends. It was two of my friends first tattoos and the were so patient and polite with them. They were always asking and making sure everything was okay. Also their work is amazing. We had Leo and Milos I would 1000% drive this distance to come and get tattoos from them again.

It looks clean. The people are nice. Gotta be careful about parking. They pushed our appointment from 5 to 6 and then we ended up leaving around 8 without ink and went to another shop. There were 3 of us and the artist wasnt on board with what we wanted and wasnt showing us anything different. My friend ended up getting piercings that she was super thrilled about. The lady piercing was 5 stars for sure. The shop itself was cool, but we only saw 1 artist and were told hes new so...🤷‍♀️ a few other people came in and got tattoos from another artist that looked good. Im sure our encounter was a fluke, but we all left there irritated.

I had my cartilage pierced here and I had a great experience! Eric was amazing and made me feel very comfortable. Me and my wife were visiting Galveston. We decided to get some tattoos that we had talked about for a while. Milos took complete care of us by giving us both top of the line tattoos. I got my helix piercing done here and it was truly the best experience I’ve had. Eric took his time to make sure that I was happy with the placement of my piercing and that I felt comfortable with the process. Brenna was super nice and helpful but the artist was subpar at best. My wife and I both got tattoos on the inside of our ring finger and a week later you can barely read them! I understand the finger isn’t the best place and fades away over time but not 5 days later!!

I got my nose pierced and the atmosphere was very professional but friendly. Mine was done by Eric, he walked me through the whole piercing process as well as aftercare and explained what he was doing so I wasn’t nervous at all. Very friendly and helpful too, definitely recommend.

I am from OK and I was in Galveston for a girls trip and Kevin was a rockstar!! He free handed color cheetah print on the top of my foot and did some insanely good coloring! This place is the best! The environment was phenomenal. They were super nice and got me just what I wanted! It was my first tattoo and I will definitely be going back for more! I’m not from the area but I will make that drive just for them! Scooby did amazing on me and my friend! Kevin also did amazing on my other friend. 10/10 recommend going! You won’t regret it!

We got two piercings and two tattoos between the 3 of us and we could not have asked for a better experience! The staff were friendly, explained everything, patient and made great conversation throughout the whole process. The shop was clean and comfortable. The next time we return, we will certainly have to stop by and get our next piece of art!

My daughter and I had our tattoos done by Milos and can I just say I have never been in more love with a tattoo! He gave us exactly what we wanted and the detail is amazing! Milos was insanely knowledgeable on every part of the process. Since it was my first time getting a tattoo and I only had a rough idea of what I wanted, Milos made some suggestions as far as font for the lettering and generally how I wanted things done. Also, due to it being my first time getting a tattoo, I didn’t know that your blood sugar would drop and I almost passed out. Milos didn’t laugh at me at all. Instead, he was rushing to find something to spike my insulin and then explained to me why that happens and that it’s not uncommon. After making sure I was good to continue, we finished up. His straight lines are absolutely flawless. Perfectly straight. The ONLY reason one of my lines wasn’t straight was due to me not being able to keep still (again, not used to the pain and by that point my chest was raw). Every other line (circles included) is perfectly straight. We were also late to our appointment, but they still worked with us (even though we did let them know we were on our way). 10/10 staff and I will gladly drive 4 and a half hours to get more tattoos from them.

Everyone was so friendly! Our artist Milos stayed an hour after to finish our tattoos. We got fun little fine line tattoos on a whim and they turned out sooo cute and perfect.

Ive had my nose pierced here previously and loved my experience I came back for my navel. I had a few questions about ideas for two tattoos and Ms. Susie was so wonderful she took my ideas and sketched them out for me. I ended up staying 3 and a half hours while her, Brenna, and Tali did my piercing and my tattoos. Wonderful, comforting people and such an amazing shop. Great first time tattoo experience and Im coming back to Tali very soon for more work!

We planned on taking a day trip to Galveston so I started looking at shop reviews to get my nose pierced while we were visiting. I called and spoke to Susie, who was very nice and confirmed that an appointment wasnt necessary. We got to the shop that night and was greeted with smiles. Brenna was very polite and thorough while explaining what she was doing anytime she stepped away. I had my nose pierced previously and was not happy with the way my jewelry always sat on my nose. Brenna enlightened me that it was the angle the piercer used and that she was taught by the best, her boss Susie, and that using a cork is best practice! Who knew! Everything was clean and sterile, the piercing was quick and virtually painless and I love the way it looks! The placement is so much no more attractive than my first one! Brenna thoroughly explained the aftercare to us and we were on our way! (Im already thinking about going back to get a second nose piercing along with both daiths!) I definitely recommend Brenna!

I went to get a couple of piercings for my birthday on a whim. I found Body Language online and gave them a shot. I was very pleased. Brenna made me feel comfortable from the start and she did an amazing job on my piercings. I’d definitely go back and see her again!

From out of town and had a fresh piercing, the jeweler fell out and I needed a quick solution. Everyone there was beyond helpful and didn’t take advantage of my desperation. Fair price on quality jewelry and the lady even took the time to help me look on amazon for a cleaning solution. Will 100% recommend to anyone for any piercing needs.

I called around noon and was asked to come at 6pm as a walk in. I arrived at 6 and was told that there would be a 40 min wait. 40 minutes later, the tattoo artist comes out and tells me that he needs to go grab a bite and to come back at 8:15. I called at 8:10 to see if they were ready and they told me to come. I arrive 5 min later and was told that they were already closed and couldnt help. Out of all the options I had, I chose this place but after getting the customer service I received, I wont be returning.

I just got my daith pierced and have a history of passing out but she talked me through it all and ensured I felt okay the whole time. We called and made an appt on Friday for saturday. Talked to the girl about vending machine tattoo for 5. She said the machine was jammed but they could open it and pick one out for each of us. We wanted to spend the day at the beach so we planned to get our tattoos at 6:15 pm. On Saturday we showed up a little early and asked if they could get us in. They said actually they couldnt see us at all because they cant open the machine. When I spoke to them on Friday they said they could and they failed to call us to cancel the appointment. Just let us drive across town and waste our time. Why tell us you can open the machine if you cant and then not even call us to tell us. Do not recommend

My boyfriend and I went to get our nipples pierced on our anniversary trip to Galveston and had a tremendous experience. They were very clean, and made sure that you were comfortable with the process. They have been in Galveston for 20 years, i believe, and have been doing this for even longer. If youre feeling crazy, and want a tattoo or piercing, give these guys a visit!

I had the most pleasant experience getting pierced here! I went in to get my industrial pierced and in the end, I came out completely satisfied. Ms. Susie was very informative and answered every question I threw her way! She spent lots of time sterilizing and prepping. Not only that, she also made me feel very comfortable and explained to me step by step what she was doing! I experienced minimal pain and would definitely recommend getting a piercing here! Plus, it was very reasonably priced and my industrial piercing plus the jewelry was a grand total of $45! love my piercing!!!

Walked in for nose piercing about an hour and a half before closing. Had to wait a little over an hour, but they did a good quick job and were very thorough going over post piercing care. Nice people. Would go again.

Me and my friends daughter just went to this shop. I got my belly button pierced and she got her nose. Our piercer Brenna was very professional and knowledgable. She really went above and beyond. Amy, my friends daughter, got her belly button pierced at a different shop a week ago and it had a red ring around the jewelry. Brenna looked at it for us and told us it was infected. She took the time to clean it for us. Im really impressed with this place and definitely will be a repeat customer!!

Ellen was an excellent listener, came up with an incredible design for me and I got my tattoo today (my sons go tomorrow for theirs). Ellen was very friendly and did an awesome job. Brought my daughter one year ago for her 18th birthday navel piercing. It was her first body piercing and she was understandably nervous. Ms. Susie and her daughter were patient, reassuring, and extremely professional throughout the entire process. I was pleased with the post piercing care instructions. Her piercing has healed without any complications (or infections), and she is ready to finally change the jewelry out.One year later my husband and I are back in town for an anniversary weekend get away and we are considering getting our first tattoos together. Obviously we are planning to get them at Body Language. I am sure my review of that experience will be just as positive!

Idk where to even begin with this place! Body language tattoo and piercing is literally my favorite place to go! Id rather drive an hour down to Galveston then to drive 10 minutes to a shop closer to me! Their prices are very reasonable, the staff is awesome, plus its family run. Tally is one of the tattoo artist at Body Language, his work is out of this world amazing! I have 3 tattoos one he did and I swear its my favorite! Hes very good with his consultations and his work is just unbelievable! He is also very knowledgeable about what he does, he can answer almost any question you have about tattoos. Now Mrs. Susie is like from another planet! She is literally the coolest person Ive met! Shes super open and makes you feel super comfortable and is very knowledgeable about the piercings. While having a piercing done she does go step by step to let you know what she is doing and lets say after having a piercing you turn white or pass out she will stop what she is doing to make sure your ok! I had that happen when I got my tongue pierced. And Brenna Mrs. Susies daughter is a bad ass xD again super knowledgeable about what she does and pretty much the whole shop is like family and it has a very comforting vibe and they make you feel like apart of their family its wonderful! I will always recommend this place even if its am hour drive! Its totally worth it!

I got my belly button pierced as her as a birthday present to myself. I walked in and was promptly greeted and directed where to go. There was a small selection of navel rings, but I found one that I liked. The staff was very nice to me and was able to answer all my questions. All of the equiptment used, was sterilized and had never been used before. At the end of the procedure, the needle was thrown away in front of my eyes, which was comforting. David, my piercer knew what he was doing, and was very polite. It hurt, but this is to be except. My only complaint was that I had to wait quite a bit because the lady in front of me being pierced took about 30 minutes. She was getting her nose pierced, crying and throwing a temper tantrum. It was quite childish and embarrassing on her part. I would recommend this place to wants a piercing. They are clean, sterile, polite, reasonably priced and exeperienced. My navel only cost $50, compared to my friends whos cost $250.I will go here for any and all further piercings. I cannot praise this place enough.

My mother went here quite a bit in her young adult years so I was a semi regular here for some of mine.I cant complain about any of the piercings Ive received from them but they do tend to be a bit overpriced. Ive gotten the same quality of piercing for half the price at other shops around town.As for tattoos, Ive only gotten one and that service is what prompted me to leave this review. Back in January I made an appointment and they had an artist contact me who talked with me for about a week prior about what I wanted which seemed very professional. The day of the appointment she was super late which is understandable, stuff happens, but she did not even have a sketch or anything prepared when she came. It was my birthday and I had plans so it was a little frustrating that she was late AND unprepared but there wasnt much I could do. She began drawing one up that came out very cartoon like even though I asked for realism. I sat with her for an hour tweaking it until it was very close to what I wanted (I decided I would never get EXACTLY what I wanted because artists always put their own little spin on things and I was fine with/expecting that). When we finally finished tweaking she placed it on my body. I asked for her to make it low enough that it would lay below a bra or bathing suit and she did. However when the tattooing was over I looked in the mirror and the piece was higher than the template was placed. About a third of it was under my bra line when originally it was about 2 inches below. Not only that but it looked like she didnt even use the template. The tattoo came out almost the same as the first cartoony sketch despite me tweaking about a dozen new sketches with her. It was not realism like I wanted, not even close. She also originally gave me a price when she assumed I wanted color but when I opted out of color the price stayed the same at $150. I still paid and tipped because there was nothing she could do at that point. She made the lines so dark and thick and the tattoo was relatively small that if she added to it, it would just be a black blob.Ultimately, with piercings theyre good if you dont mind paying a little extra, but dont get tattooed by Ellen unless you want a cartoony piece (regardless of if you ask for it.)

Called when they opened and were told they had people there but were walk in friendly. When we walked in they told us we were looking at a 45 minute wait. An hour later they told us 20-30 minutes. 30 minutes later they told us 5 minutes. 10 minutes later we left.I understand they want customers, but be truthful and respectful of your customers’ time.

This place was absolutely amazing!! I got a second nose piercing and the top of my ear. My husband got his 1st nose piercing and 2nd hole in his ears. They were amazing and welcoming. I recommend this hidden gem to everyone and im passing out their cards! Definitely going ba k for a tattoo

Susie is the sweetest woman and I love her and her work. Definitely recommend this place and definitely will go back again. Brenna is also very sweet and friendly. Overall the environment was great.

Rude!! Would not let us dispose of consent sheet that I had signed after being told one of us needed more identification...which we were fine with. I am not new to tattoos and piercing...everytime I get a new piece of body art I get a copy of the consent to take home with me...do better with knowing your customers rights to info and their signatures .

Eric was so understanding and generous! He made this experience enjoyable and saved me so much pain !! Will def come down here again when I’m in Galveston again

Not impressed, would give no stars if possible. Showed up a little after 2 when they said they opened online and no one was there. Called and she said she’d be there at four. Ok, cool, I was willing to come back. Showed up a little after four, no one was there, called a couple times, no answer. Took my business to The Tattoo Shop and highly recommend them.

I went to several tattoo shops and all of them were not nice and said they wouldnt do water color so we went to this place and LEO did my tattoo of a native dolphin with water color waves and it is o good if you are ever in the area looking for a good tattoo artist this is the place ask for Leo he did great
