The ladies here are awesome. Shop was clean and beautiful, I really enjoyed my experience. My piercer was knowledgeable and gentle. I got my piercing while I was on vacation, so its too bad Im not any closer, or CM Hurt would be my go-to for sure!

Got eyebrow pierced about two years ago and recently lost one side of my barbell eyebrow piercing and they helped me quickly set up an appointment and get it replaced for free. Excellent customer service and support. Would get pierced here again in the future and would recommend to others

The ladies here did a fantastic job. They explained everything and kept my 6yo daughter engaged with the process and aftercare expectations. My husband and I also got a helix and conch, which were placed with consideration for our own anatomy and jewelry preferences after healing. We made a same day appointment and were finished quickly. Very clean shop with beautiful jewelry. Definitely check them out if youre looking for professionals in the Garden Grove area.

This place is amazing for piercings. All the staff were so so nice and took amazing care of us while preparing for and getting our ear piercings. Their prices are very reasonable, and include aftercare, which they honored. Overall, I loved this experience and would recommend.

I took my 9 month old daughter to get her ears pierced. Megan pierced my daughters ears and she did a great explaining everything step by step. Overall it was a great experience! I paid $150 plus tax for gold earrings + piercing. Highly recommend Megan!

Staff is all very professional and they have a great deal of jewelry to choose from. The piercers took the time to make sure that the piercing you want is going to work with your anatomy. Ive been there twice and wouldnt think of going anywhere else.

I called to schedule a piercing appointment and they were able to help me out the same day. The shop is very clean, organized, and staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. Great customer service as well! I always have so many questions, and they happily answered every one of them. Before the piercing is done, they went over pricing and aftercare. Jackie (or Jacky?, Im unsure of spelling) did my piercing and communicated every step of the process. I was really nervous, but she made me feel at ease. The piercing is perfectly positioned as well. CM Hurt is a very clean shop with friendly and knowledgeable professionals. Highly recommend!

Took my 10 month old to get her ears pierced, very happy with how it went. Piercer was great about checking that we were happy with placement before doing the piercing. My wife and I were very pleased by this experience with our 9 1/2 month daughter getting her ears pierced. Our neighbors recommended this place. Im truly happy that we listened.The staff was very welcoming and professional. They have a solid COVID-19 protocol that they follow, which I appreciated. The process of checking in, going over package options, getting the piercing and checking out was very smooth. The two young ladies who worked to pierce my daughters ears were so nice and courteous.I recommend this place for anyone looking for piercings, especially for children.

I love this place. Legit the only place I ever go to get pierced any more, and I live out of state; and yes, this piercing shop is worth flying out of state for. Ive gotten my septum and nostril piercings done at a few different places before and they arent even comparable. The piercing process at CM Hurt is by far the most professional, painless, as well as clean/sanitized one I have experienced. I also have an issue with passing out which they were very helpful and patient with when I was experiencing an episode lol. The workers are extremely nice and knowledgeable in their field and are always more than happy to answer any questions they may have. I have had my piercing in for about 2+ years and absolutely love it and have had 0 issues. They are super in depth about the after care process and really care about the quality of their work. They have a wide selection of jewelry to choose from and they are all gorgeous. I have realized a lot of poor reviews posted are from unhappy customers who did not follow the stores policy and were called out for it. There are guidelines in place for everyones health and safety, if you cannot be respectful or follow them then thats your own fault! Overall, this piercing shop is awesome and I recommend it to anyone I come in contact with who wants a pleasant, fun, and professional experience!!

CM Hurt is very professional and the staff is very courteous. Rebekka was extremely friendly and patient with helping me figure out which jewelry piece I wanted and where. The entire staff was nice to talk to and they have an awesome collection to choose from. Highly recommend this place for both people who are beginners in the piercing scene as well as pros. Took my 9 month old yesterday to get her ears pierced and could not be happier with our experience!! They were so kind and reassuring and gentle. I was given thorough aftercare instructions before we left. The place itself was so clean and just from glancing you can tell they have a huge variety of piercings. Ms. Cynthia and her employee were just the absolute best. I highly highly recommend everyone goes there.

It was horrific. My 5-year-old daughter still talks about it at least once a month. The woman who owns the shop was so incredibly rude. She made my daughter cry. They were unwilling to perform the service that I had made an appointment for and when I tried to buy jewelry they were so curt & loud that with years in her eyes, my daughter begged me to take her hands and leave. Not wanting to leave empty handed, I stupidly purchased something from them. I asked how much it was and they said $35 for a Sterling silver with a crystal heart earring. When I got to the register she said $80 with tax. And I was confused and she said $35 each. -_- Then she proceeded to install them in my daughters ears the wrong way and with a higher gauge than what was initially in her ears. My daughter cried so much that we just left them like that for months and months until one of my friends could convince her that she could fix it without hurting her at all. My daughter is so traumatized that she will not change her earrings and it has been a year. I came in to get a Helix piercing but they said I couldnt do it with my daughter there. But I was allowed to go in the room when it was her turn so thats very curious. why she couldnt be in the room when it was my turn. Or even sit in the waiting room.

Made an appointment to get my septum pierced and had a great experience. All the staff was helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I was a bit nervous but the ladies all made me fee comfortable.They have a $99 house package for piercing but you can upgrade to get different starting jewelry(which I did to get colored stones). I got a slight discount for allowing the apprentice piercer to pierce, but she did great; the head piercer was really skilled and a great supervisor/teacher. I barely felt the needle go through.They have a large selection of different styles and prices of jewelry for various types of piercings.Appointment required, just call and they will schedule you and answer any questions you have over the phone. Expect to spend between $100-$200 on average depending on type of piercing and jewelry selection.

I went here to get my nose piercing and the staff was extremely friendly. I came about 20 minutes late but they still took me in to get my piercing. I wouldnt recommend bringing anyone else with u unless ur a minor and u need a parent. But this place was amazing, definitely coming back.

I have gone to CM Hurt many times for piercings of all kinds. I trust Cynthia so much that I brought my daughter in here when she was 7 for her ear piercings. Cynthia is professional, very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. Her pricing is fair and reasonable. Her studio is extremely clean and orderly. The best part about her services is that she is thorough with explaining aftercare and checks up on her customers. I have emailed her many times to ask questions after piercings, just to make sure things are going okay and she is always quick and kind to respond promptly. I cant wait to go back for my next piercing. I will only go to CM Hurt for all my body piercing needs!

I can only speak highly of this place! They knock it out of the park in every aspect. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The piercers are very knowledgeable and professional. They go over the procedure and after care so that you never feel like your are in the dark. They also talk you through the piercing process so you know what theyre doing to you and when. The location is clean and well maintained. The lobby has a great display of all their jewelry, so there is something for everyone. Ms. Cynthia has created a wonderful, welcoming space. I have been here twice and cant wait to go back!

Took my 2 yr old daughter to get her ear lobes pierced. The staff was friendly and did a great job. My daughters ears are healing well and the placement is perfect. It was about $100 and they provided us with all the after care needed in a cute goodie bag. The only drawback is, that I thought they would use a hollow needle to pierce but instead they used single-use piercing guns. They pierced both of them at the same time while singing a song. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful experience! Took my 6 month old baby to get her ears pierced and so glad I took her here. They were friendly and fast. The piercing gun is a lot smaller and quieter than what they use at the mall. My baby cried for 3 seconds and was completely fine before we even stepped outside. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my experience, the staff were all very nice and knowledgeable. The actual piercings were done very efficiently, it was my first time getting any sort of piercing and I don’t see how it could have gone better. Cool jewelry selection too! Will definitely come back here if I decide to get another in the future

This is the ONLY place I will ever go to for piercings. Miss Cynthia is amazing and I recommend her to every person I know that she is the person to go to. She is very clean, quick, and has a wonderful sense of humor to put me at ease for any of the scary piercings I want. Consider this from someone who is a major clean freak and asks questions about everything- I really appreciate how thorough she is using clean tools you see her take out of the sterile packaging, change her gloves repeatedly, and talk me through each step she does. The metal she uses is absolutely beautiful and I have sensitive skin and have never had any issue with any of my piercings thanks to the high quality metal and sterile environment. I cannot recommend CM Hurt enough- and all of my friends that Ive sent her way love her as well!

This is an AMAZING shop!! The best place I’ve done any piercings at. I called a few piercing shops to get estimates and also find out what products they use and how much experience the piercing artists had.While CM Hurt might not be the most inexpensive of the shops I called, I have ZERO regrets about forking up the $$ for Ms. Cynthia to alter my body with piercings 😂Cynthia is a Hoot!! I read a few reviews on Google that she was rude and what not but honestly, I strongly believe that those people that left those reviews more than likely have zero sense of humor. How can you not love Cynthia?! I got three new piercings done. All three were at extremely sensitive areas and at some point she basically had me naked on her table to do the piercings 👀. What is amazing is that she made me feel so incredibly comfortable and held a conversation throughout the entire time so I could relax and not focus on what was about to happen! She took her time in ensuring that placement would be well and she educated me on the type of jewelry she would be utilizing.Just go here and stop the search!!!! Well worth the investment of having a professional piercer with over 20 some odd years of experience pierce your body the right way, the first time.

Got my tongue pierced the day after Christmas. My piercer was super knowledgeable and made sure I was happy with the placement before she pierced me. The pain was minimal. I got a little nauseous after from the adrenaline rush and they provided great care and made sure I was fine before driving home. My tongue is healing quickly and there is no swelling or pain in the almost two weeks Ive had it. Cant wait to come back to resize as well as check out some jewelry for my nostril piercing.

She informed me of every step she was taking, which helped me to relax!Gold earrings are pricey, but sterling silver very reasonable and theres a wide variety of beautiful pieces.Would highly recommend!

My 4yo got her ears pierced here. They were super nice, did both holes at once while singing a song. They gave her some plush toys and lollipops for being brave. The jewelry is high quality and the price includes care kit too.Well definitely come back.

I was SO hesitant to get my nose and septum pierced again after a previous one pierced me incorrectly, but I decided to take the risk and make an appointment anyways (that was a super easy process btw!) and when I came in I was greeted by the 2 most lovely people, they immediately put all my worries to rest, we picked out jewlery and got started. Kimmy and Rebekka! Rebekka pierced my nostril and then my septum! While setting up and while piercing me she explained everything she was doing and why so there were no surprises. Pain was minimal and she even wiped my tears when my eyes watered 🤣 Kimmy did my husbands septum and even though he had a slightly deviated septum, she did a wonderful job and he said it was quick and almost painless. They then send you home with a little aftercare kit! This place is awesome and the staff are even more awesome 🖤 ill definitely be back for all my piercing needs! Thank you guys!

I took my 3 year old in today to get her ears pierced and we had the best experience! Everyone was friendly and helped make this moment very special for our big girl. Both my husband and I were walked through the process of choosing super cute starter earring, proper hygiene and care after piercing, and the actual ear piercing. We also had our 2 year old twins with us and they brought paper and crayons out for them while we shared the experience with our 3 year old. We picked this place based on other Google reviews and couldnt be happier with the shop we chose!

Love is an understatement!!! There is no better experienced piercer within a 500-mile radius of us if youre looking for a piercer that is a part of the association look no further you have found her. Impeccable customer care, so sweet kind and funny. 5 stars is not enough for Mrs Cynthia and her team! My sister and I have had multiple piercings with Mrs Cynthia and they heal so amazing and the jewelry quality is unbeatable...I could go on and on she is just AMAZING!!

A few years back I decided to have piercing done in a “private” area of my body. (Not done at CM Hurt)Afterwards I noticed that it didn’t looked quite right, the jewelry didn’t sit straight and seemed to be “kicked” off to one side. When I brought it up to the piercer, he said that it didn’t look too bad and because you do this type piercing when soft, the chances of getting the piercing perfectly straight are slim to none.I decided to get a second opinion. I am so glad I went to CM Hurt!!Ms Cynthia has very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. The establishment was very clean and well lighted.Ms Cynthia looked at my piercing and explained to me why it wasn’t straight. She discussed what it would take to fix it, I made my appointment before I left.On my piercing day she re-explained what she was going to do. Her quick wit and personality had me relaxed and the next thing I knew, it was done.The piercing looks fantastic! I won’t be going anywhere else for any future piercings!!

Great place! I took my Grand daughter to get her earlobe pierced and they took our temperature and gave us hand sanitizer and they also gave me a plastic bag to put my purse in! They only take appointments and it was so nice and clean and they take precautions on everything! I was very happy with the service! The cost is $90 but you get a cleaning kit and you can pick out the ear stud of your choice!

Owner was very business like not exactly personable but did know her stuff. She made me feel timid and shy about my lack of knowledge. The head woman talked down to me every time I didnt have an answer for her questions like gage or size.The piercer was sweet and helpful. The process was painless and they were all very knowledgeable.Very pretty jewelry and a wide selection.

Both my daughter and I have piercings from here. The jewelry is top quality and the prices are good. The quality of service is the best you can get. They really care about their customers and are there if anything should go wrong.

From the initial phone conversation to when I walked out the door, my experience was 5 Stars!Comparably their prices are higher than others, but for the service it was well worth it!Meagan their receptionist, provided great tips and knowledge on their jewelry selection. She was sweet and professional while walking me through what to expect during my appointment and also the aftercare for my piercings.Rebekah (sp?) was so personable and thorough. Maybe I just havent had much experience in the body piercing industry but her customer service skills were on point and beyond! She explained every step she was taking and talked me through each process as she was going, it made it manageable for a pain weenie like me. I spent maybe an hour or so with her for a septum and 4 lobe piercings. This place is also extremely hygienic as I watched Rebekah change her gloves everytime she made contact with any object or my face. She took her time to provide adequate care and precision.The owner obviously takes a lot of pride in their work and has established this business to be very professional and talented as shown through her employees!Take note they are only accepting appointments this time and are following all rules and regulations for covid very seriously. I got a labret piercing from CM Hurt about two months ago. Yesterday I called them because I had to have an MRI done and the hospital was insisting I remove the jewelry for safety. The girl I spoke with on the phone at CM Hurt said the jewelry should be okay but if the hospital insisted I remove the jewelry, I could just return to CM Hurt to have them put the jewelry back in if I needed help doing so. I had to remove the jewelry and I couldn’t put it back in so I called today to make an appointment to have it put back in. The girl on the phone had terrible attitude about it and then said that the hole would probably be closed as it would’ve closed within the hour since the piercing is only about 2 months old. I’m upset that the girl on the phone I originally spoke with didn’t explain this crucial detail to me when I called to ask for guidance. I’m also upset that this girl today had such a bad attitude for no reason. Me asking questions should be welcomed and not be treated like an annoyance. They are supposed to be a business to help their clients not just get but also maintain body modifications. She ended up saying that they would need to pierce again. I paid so much money for this piercing and the jewelry. I also spent so much time taking care of it so that it would heal properly because I loved it. CM Hurt’s lack of providing pertinent information to my successful outcome of continuing to care for my healing piercing and the completely unnecessary and unprofessional attitude when seeking support from them are so disappointing. There is no trust here. Maybe at one point long time ago things were different and standards of practice and care were held to a higher standard but not now.

Went in today to downsize my jewelry. I have my tragus and conch pierced and these ladies have me useful information to help my piercings swelling go down. I was doing the after care all wrong. They were quick and ez , the only downside since I don’t live in the area is that I have to make an appointment but they were able to squeeze me in. A bit pricier than I would have imagined but they did a great job ! See you in two months or so. Thank you!

I too would recommend CM Hurt to anyone, of any age, for all their piercings or tattoos.I had previously had three piercings at a couple of studios in Los Angeles. The experience was ok, but nothing special. I had heard good things about Ms. Cynthia and CM Hurt so I decided to give them a try. That was over three years ago. Since then I have received eight piercings and six tattoos. All of the experiences have been great. Ms. Cynthia is very friendly and patient. She explains everything in advance and is very detailed with her aftercare instructions. The studio is very clean and exceeds hospital standards.The CM Hurt studio is unlike any other tattoo/piercing establishment that I have been in. Bright, airy, with a comfortable and tasteful waiting area with classy jewelry beautifully displayed. The procedure rooms are likewise, private, nonthreatening and tastefully decorated. Everything, the equipment, the furniture, the walls and counters all appear antiseptically clean.I have always had a good experience at the CM Hurt studio. The people, the place, and the prices are all great.

I went and got my septum pierced yesterday here at cm piercings, and my experience was amazing !I’ve gotten my septum pierced twice before at a different shop and that experience was horrible, and i had my worries coming in but the staff reassured me on everything.Overall i highly recommend cm piercings, amazing staff, amazing placement and piercings !!

I came in as a walk-in a few days ago to get my navel piercing. Overall, I say my experience was quite average, slightly disappointing. I truly appreciate how thorough the lady at the front desk was when explaining the aftercare of my piercing, including things I should and shouldnt do for a period of time. The aftercare kit is very helpful and I follow the directions listed on the pamphlet provided to clean the navel piercing.As for the piercing process, I found it highly uncomfortable. My piercer seemed inexperienced, which is definitely fine, but she also kept calling to another piercer who was already working with a client. My piercer inserted the wrong piece of jewelry in me and was scolded by the other piercer. This situation just felt extremely awkward as a client and I hope no one experiences this same situation either. Additionally, I bled a little from the piercing, but the piercers used my clothes to wipe it away. I would definitely have preferred if they used a paper towel or something else as I felt uncomfortable for the rest of the day. I am mostly disappointed in how the piercing turned out, as it is slanted toward the left and is not even. I know this piercing is a permanent body alteration, but I wished it didnt feel rushed or uncomfortable during the process.

Probably the best place Ive gone to! I got my nipples piercings done here and then 6 weeks later when I got my checkup I was able to change the color of my barbells all on my own, super fun! Love the custom color purple they turned out to be, and they changed the piercings for me too! Super friendly people, love them so much and I will definitely be coming in to buy more jewelry soon:)

My visit was wonderful. I walked in and was immediately greeted, given the price for what I wanted, then guided through jewelry options. The actual piercing was done carefully and in a way to make sure I was comfortable. I was given an aftercare kit and an appointment to come back to make sure its healing properly. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and go back for any future piercing or jewelry needs.

Place was clean, the piercer went through everything, where it will be, the aftercare, they also gave us the supplies for aftercare, everyone was kind and i felt like i was in good hands. All the supplies were opened in front of us and everything was clean as well. (piercing i got was a septum piercing which is a nose piercing) All in all great service, process was great, everything was explained and supplies for the aftercare included instructions with the solution, cups for the aftercare, and a little teddy bear and lollipop :)

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced a few months ago. We have followed all aftercare and decided to change her earrings recently. We noticed that one of her ear piercings is not straight and putting an earring in isn’t possible without “fishing” through for the other end (which ended up causing a bruise to form on her earlobe). We decided to let her piercing close and go to a different shop that uses needles as opposed to guns. Customer Service was fine… I’m just disappointed that her piercing isn’t aligned properly and we wasted money.

Im from out of town and was looking for a female body piercer. I found CM Hurt online, read the reviews and went based off of that. The prices are fair compared to other shops Ive been to at home (Vancouver, BC).They also send you home with an aftercare kit including sanitizing soap, saline and care instructions. CM Hurt is welcoming, professional and sanitary. Ive had many piercings and have never had an experience like this. I highly recommend you check them out!

Great place if you are looking to get a piercing. My daughter had her nose pierced before but from the minute you walk into CM Hurt, you are welcomed, they explain the care process well and give you what you need and tell you that they will see you in 4 weeks to check the piercing. Cynthia who pierced my daughter nose really explained the process and measurements to wear a ring other than a stud and you may pay a bit more but its worth it. Love this place!

Cynthia is the best piercer around. She cares for her customers and wants them to have the best experience possible. Her shop is spotless and she follows all requirements set forth by the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) and the Association of Professional Tattooists (APT) as she is a member of both.Overall a wonderful experience getting any type of body art done in her studio.

I had piercings done by the owner seven years ago (contrary to what fake reviewers will have you believe shes been in business for ages). Cynthia was amazing. Opened brand new equipment in front of me, so clean in there you could eat off the floor. Was very patient with my nervous self.I had to go back a week later because there was an issue with my piercing. Cynthia fit me in, corrected it, only charged me for the jewelry, and explained to me how to prevent it from happening again. She is the literal best.

Best piercing shop in California. I have been to many different shops and this is by FAR the best. No other compares. I would even put this shop above Ancient Adornments in regards to selection, quality and talent. That says a lot as I truly love Ancient Adornments. The shop is incredibly clean, has a large selection of very high quality and has really talented piercers. I can’t recommend this shop enough!

CM Hurt is such a great place to find the most fabulous top of the line jewelry. Cynthia is super cool, honest and knows the piercing business inside out. The other ladies who work there are also sweet and friendly. Great trustworthy place to treat yourself.

I called to set up an appointment and the woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude. She gave really short, curt answers and when I asked a question about pricing she abruptly cut me off and said in a mean voice, I wasnt done talking. I didnt interrupt her in the middle of her sentence or anything, I honestly thought she was done talking which is why I asked another clarifying question.I didnt end up making an appointment because the brief interaction I had over the phone was so unpleasant. I wasnt even going to say anything but I was in the market recently for another piercing and this shop came up again on my search. I decided to read the reviews to see if my experience was just a one off but it looks like professionalism is a recurring problem for this place. Im almost afraid to post this review because I see how the owner responds to negative reviews. Not a good look.

They were great- professional and super nice. This was my first facial peircing aside from ears so I didnt know what to expect. They talked through each step of the process before it happened and knew just what to say when there was pain or discomfort. Nasal piercing hurt more than I thought it would, but Id go back for more knowing how well they handle clients. I went home with a pamphlet and all the naterials needed to clean the piercing as it healed.

I Took my daughter in today for a septum piercing that my daughter has been asking for a while. All the ladies in there were super pleasant and professional. Jackie was the one who did the peircing and she was fantastic, not only did she explain step by step what was going to be done but she really made my daughter feel at ease as she was nervous about the piercing. Walked in to my appointment and had 2 family members with me to help me decide on the jewelry and placement. Cynthia who was at the door was very rude and unprofessional. She looked at my family and rudely pointed and said “you, you, bye!” She then told me, “I sent you a message TWICE about coming by yourself”. She was very rude about it. I was inside texting my family who had to leave and she stood there with her arms folded and said “are you finished? I need to finish talking to you” I asked her if she talks to all of her customers like that and all she had to say back was “we are a professional piercing studio”. Cynthia had someone else come and help me because I didn’t like the way she was treating me. Another girl came up and got me situated with all the jewelry and took me to the back. The piercer came in and I asked if I could FaceTime my family, who wasn’t allowed in. And she told me no. She also didn’t mark spots on my nose and let me decide where I wanted it, she just told me to take a deep breath and pierced my nose. It was very unprofessional and rude atmosphere, especially for a company who says they are “professional piercers”. Would not recommend going there. Feel bad for the employees who have to work with Cynthia.

Came in for my 10 month old daughter’s ear piercing. I left confused with mixed feelings. Check in lady was really sweet and Covid measures are great. But the piercer, I think Cynthia, made us feel rushed. She also didn’t pierce at the center (where she marked) for one ear. Another ear is fine. Plus she doesn’t know how to be kind to customers. I would have still walked out feeling good besides her snarky remarks if she did a good job but that’s not the case here. So unfortunately for the price and great reviews here, I expected more and left disappointed. I might have to wait for my baby’s ear to heal and go to some other place to fix it.Edit: The first response from owner was polite. Since they edited their response to rude, unnecessary blame and false accusations, I updated mine from 2 star to 1 star. I didnt even ask if you would accommodate my in-laws. This is just blatant lie. They were waiting outside in the car/walking around in the parking lot. I know the covid rules and I called and asked if you follow covid rules or not, to get my baby there. Inside was just me, my husband and my baby. I did mention as soon as you hurriedly pierced my babys ears that they are not aligned. You ignored me completely. I didnt say anything after that because there was no point. Done is done. So we politely paid, inquired about after-care instructions from your receptionist (who was very nice as I mentioned before, so why would we be rude to her? It was not her fault) and walked out. We spent few mins in the parking lot to calm my baby down before putting her in the car as she got her ears pierced. Like I said everything was so rushed that I didnt even have time to process it completely inside. So your accusations make no sense.

Got a Medusa and a Labret piercing here today and the experience was great! They walked me through the aftercare and gave me a goodie bag of aftercare solution, some instructions and a cute little bear. The piercing process itself was super quick and professional. My piercer was super nice and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I will return here for all my future piercings and reccomend this shop to everyone I know!

Got my rook and conch pierced today! I was so nervous because its been a long time since I got my ear pierced. However, Cynthia was very friendly during the whole process and helped me to calm down! I have had two different piercing done at CM Hurt, and had amazing service both times. Ms. Cynthia and her staff are so professional and so focused on cleanliness, every needle used was package and opened in front of me. I had an issue with some irritation from my nose ring due to getting caught on some fabric, and Ms. Cynthias staff was incredibly knowledgable about what was happening and how I could heal it up relatively quickly. I highly recommend CM Hurt to anyone thinking of getting any piercings done.

Made an appointment over the phone and this woman (no name) was very rude to my friend and I. Called back to cancel and the woman just snapped claiming we “blocked” her?? Which we didn’t?Overall poor quality customer service. Wouldn’t recommend!

I can see why this place has such high reviews. first time coming in with my mom to get my lobes repierced and I felt extremely comfortable. they took good care of me and everything was sanitary. the piercer who was in charge of me was very friendly. the environment of this place felt professional, and also welcoming. everything was worth it for the price.

Please dont give this shop your money. I went to this shop a few years back to buy a new hoop for my nose. At the time they convinced me to buy the wrong Guage jewelry and when it didnt sit right tried to get me to let them re pierce my nose (for a fee of course) because according to their expert opinion it had been pierced incorrectly. No, they just sold me the wrong jewelry.Today I tried to give them another chance. Firstly they are appointment only which I understand, but I had to give up so many personal details and so much medical consent JUST to walk in to shop for jewelry. Even when i told them i was just interested in new jewelry and not a piercing. When I mentioned that they asked for a lot of information I immediately got attitude from the person helping me. They were very standoffish immediately after that comment and didnt seem concerned about the amount of personal information they are asking for customers to give just to come to a shop, nor sympathetic when a customer expresses concern. Had they even taken time to explain why that is needed this could have been a completely different experience. Instead I got immediate attitude. Im grateful they allowed me to book a last minute appointment but the way I was treated was just plain rude. So far my experience with this shop has either been them trying to con me or just being plain rude. Please go elsewhere.I want to be clear after the owners comment. I never argued. Simply made a statement about how much personal information i had to enter just to shop. There was no explanation of why by anyone in the shop, no we understand but this is blah blah blah blah.... just a yep and a lot of attitude. There was not an argument and I followed all policies asked of me when I was there. It was not my fault their super fancy misty hand sanitizer wasnt working when they asked me to use it. I realize for you my sale is a drop in the bucket, but hopefully others will see that from the cold response below your shop was immediately ready to fight me. Best wishes with future customer service opportunities. Youve got a lot of space to grow.

To be honest I did not feel welcomed here. It was just an overall bad experience. I had questions that were given short answers. I felt pressured by their professional opinion on the way a nose ring should look versus what I really wanted.They only asked what type of ring (gold) and all they did was fit the ring and have a nice day. Did not ask how tight or loose I wanted it. I wanted to feel empowered but felt like I was told what to do. Wont be coming back.

I have had quite a bit of work done at CM Hurt Studio. I have been pierced, tatted, upsized on my PA. The studio is clean. Cynthia Wright is professional and has a wicked sense of humor. Which is helpful when youre getting your privates pierced!! I have recommended friends to her to have their piercings and they have also been very happy. I look forward to future body modifications!

I took my daughter (who is 14) to get her septum pierced and it was the best experience (we are originally from New York and she had her nose pierced out there a few months ago this by far was a better experience) She was nervous but the piercer made her feel really comfortable they are also very informative telling her what she should and shouldn’t do and also what to expect while going through the healing process . She’s planning on doing her next piercing here too if you looking for someplace to get pierced I highly recommend them

I am soooo happy with my new ear piercings and earrings that I got tonight. I have worn clip on earrings my entire life. When I was little my doctor told my parents to take my earrings out because they felt they would keloid. I have worn clip ons for 23 years now. Yes, even as an adult I wear them so that I can feel girly like everyone else. I have about 5 tattoos all of which did not keloid so i figured Id give earrings a try again.Thankfully I researched online and found this piercing salon. Tones of great reviews that did not disappoint. They were able to give me all the right facts and so patient with me. They had a wide selection of earring choices with various prices. The complete package was a great deal as well. I decided to go with a more expensive choice of earring with my package because Ill be wearing these for a long time.The room where you receive your piercings was very clean and all new packages were used. After the piercing they give you a thorough explanation of how to clean your piercings. I am excited for the check up that they also provide a few weeks from now.Overall great experience!!! I highly recommend this place as everyone else on Yelp does.No one can tell me Im not cute with these new piercings :)

I was so nervous to get my septum pierced but the girls there were so comforting. the place is very cute and clean inside. They walk you through everything and the aftercare. They were really kind and i’m happy i got it done!

Let me clarify my review, only because of the response to my review. my one star is not because of my temperature, it is how rude the owner was.so pretty much, i failed the temperature check, and i get it, i can’t be pierced. totally fine right. but the way it was handled was so rude. the owner just said “sorry nope” when i tried to say maybe it was just my car, in response she just took a different temperature gun a few seconds later, and once again said “sorry nope.” I get it, we all have to be safe, and i wasn’t really upset because my fault. so i turned around to leave, and she rudely said “you need to go get checked” in which i responded with “i just did” (because i did. i literally took a test exactly a week ago and i had gotten my results this past monday), and all she responded with was another rude “no sorry you need to go get checked.”so if you’d like to get pierced here, just be prepared for a rude staff. i’m sure they’re great piercers, just don’t have great manners.

First piercing ever done here. Went big with a 6 guage PA. All staff were friendly and confident with impeccable aseptic techniques. 1.5 weeks out and everything looks and feels great.

I would like to give this place more stars but one will due because of how rude the owner was to me. Before going to the shop I called to see if they sold balls that go on my septum piercing separately because I had lost one. The girl on the phone was very nice and said “yes.” I went to the shop the same day and the girl showed me some options for septum jewelry and was very nice! She then told me it would be $5 for a new ball for my jewelry and I agreed. I went to the back to get the ball put on and the piercer was also great! We held a nice conversation while she was putting my jewelry on. As she was putting my jewelry on the owner yells “did she pay for the jewelry?” (Asking about me) and the pierecer responded “she paid for the ball” and the owners response was “that’s not jewlery, that was nice” (in a rude tone) this made it awkward. So the piercer finished putting on the ball and handed me a mirror and the owner then comes in and doesn’t say anything and is staring at me. So I proceed to touch my piercing to straighten it out and the owner says “don’t touch your piercing, if you touch it and touch the mirror it is going to make it dirty” (again in a rude tone) so I say “okay but I was only using one hand” and I give the mirror back to the piercer. After this I went to another piercing shop to look at other jewlery because I did not feel welcomed at CM Hurt. I asked another piercer if it was typical to have the piercers ask you not to touch anything and she said yes. I asked because the way in which the owner approached me was very rude and I feel I would have been more responsive had she told me in a nicer way. Nevertheless I will not go back to CM Hurt because of how unwelcomed I felt and how rude the owner was. I have many piercings and have never been made to feel this uncomfortable in a piercing shop. It surprises me that there are so many good reviews when I was treated in this manner.If you look at the owners response it continues to be rude. She only addresses the one “Cleanliness issue” but does not mention her other poor behavior.

Im so happy I found this place. I got a jacked up piercing from another place and Jackie took great care of me. Walked in and asked for a 16g lip hoop. Manager and staff was very rude. Said they would have to measure and install. I told them no thank you I can take it in and out myself I just want to purchase one. Was asked again what size and said 16g. Was then told to make an appointment for monday even though the store was empty and I just wanted to buy a hoop. Very unprofessional

I have a diagnostic phobia of anything hospital or needle related. The fact that I have returned to Cynthia again and again for a total of eleven piercings speaks volumes about the depth of my trust for her. There is no one else I would allow to pierce my body (minus her apprentice Elise- HEEEEEY ELISE!) I dont even live in California anymore, but if I ever wanted another piercing I would just take a week off to go back home and visit Cynthia at CM Hurt while I was there. Realistically, Ill probably just visit them anyway to stop by and say hi, because when you become a client at CM Hurt, you become part of a family. You are always surrounded by laughter and warmth and Cynthia and her staff are always updated on the latest and most current information regarding body modifications. You know you are in safe and experienced hands. If you are lucky enough to live in the area like I once was, go to CM Hurt. Youll be glad you did.

While on vacation at disney, the ball from my daith fell out of my piercing. I decided to just get new rings since they were old and they knew a lot about them and had good selection. Good prices and nice friendly staff and very clean place. Walk in welcome it seems too.

Do Not visit this establishment! The owner cancelled my appointment after I left a review informing them that my tooth gem was installed incorrectly. The gem caused bleeding and pain and due to the truth being exposed she canceled my appointment and did not let me know.

I would not recommend body art from Cmhurt. They offer tattooing or have and at first I wasnt sure if I liked it but Im sure after a couple years of having it Im not a fan at all. I was told the bruise on it would go away and after all this time its still here. Upsetting but now I know.Id post a photo but not sure if I could.
