I absolutely love the environment. Everyone is so easy to talk to and friendly. I have been going to Oscar for my tattoos and have always loved the work he has done and have been sure to spread the word about Rock Ink. I decided to get a piercing today from Flor and I got really lucky that she didnt have an appointment to be squeezed in. Ive had multiple piercings done by different people here in TX and in CA, and she has been the best by far. She talked me through what she was doing and also mapped out the veins and the nerves on my ear to determine the best placement for the Helix piercing I got. I will forever be recommending her for piercing!

Wow, Rock Ink was amazing. It is just amazing. After more than ten hours, I still have not felt any discomfort from the anchor piercings I had done on my chest, nose, Tragus, and Conch. The costs are quite inexpensive. Nobody can perform piercings like Flor; she is the finest artist, uses top-notch supplies, and causes 0 pain 😍

I highly recommend Flor for belly piercing or any piercing. She is so patient and makes you feel not too nervous. She answers all your questions. She also got really soft hands I thought my belly piercing was gonna hurt and it didn’t hurt at all. Thanks so much Flor.

Rock ink is seriously a Diamond in the rough. I’ve been getting tatted up from Oscar for years and dude is a miracle worker. First time going in I expressed how disappointed I was from previous artists to a point I would only wear long sleeves due to embarrassment. Oscar completely reworked my arm to something i love to show off to everyone. Forever thankful to the man himself Oscar for saving my arm and giving me something to be proud off. Rock ink is a new establishment on the square in Garland. Tonight, on Friday the 13th, was my first visit and I loved it! When I called the place the man who answered was friendly and was able to answer all my questions. We showed up and were immediately greeted by the most charismatic woman ever. She was almost excited to see us. The process for getting checked in and choosing our flash was quick and efficient. The wait was extremely reasonable considering the amount of people crammed into the place. My tattoo artist was very kind and listened to my concerns and was patient with my broken body, asking several times if I was comfortable or needed anything. This was a really pleasant tattoo experience unlike most bigger shops. There wasnt deafening music playing, the tattoo machines were very quiet and everyone was just chilling. 10/10 would recommend visiting this place sometime soon.

My daughter and I saw Flor, and she was amazing. She was patient and super informative. Flor definitely knows what shes doing, and she has a fantastic choice of jewelry. Had my nipples pierced here yesterday. Flor was very kind and helped me through the piercings. Paused in between the two, had water brought over for me, and didnt do the second until I was ready. Will be coming back here if I decide to get some ink!

Very AWESOME place, may be smaller than what you expect, but that made it all the better. You know walking in your not going into a place that just wants to push out tattoos, they push quality tats. Oscar rocked my tattoo request. He put up with my numerous questions, tweeked what I wanted a tiny bit to make it better (with my permission) and did a great tattoo. Its one I have wanted for awhile, so the fact he took his time with me to make sure I got the sentimental tattoo was great. I would add a photo, but it has my kiddos name in it, but trust me, go here. Will recommend to friends!!!

Best tattoo experience I’ve had so far (9 previous tattoos before this spot). Customer service was stellar, my artist never rushed the process and made sure I was comfortable with every aspect of my design which I truly appreciate!

Had my daughters piercings done here by Flor. Ended up with the cutest High quality jewelry that Flor offered the whole visit was very professional, she concentrated and took her time setting up, sanitizing, measuring and explaining the process as well as aftercare. On top of that the environmental was just so chill, all the staff was super friendly so I would highly recommend!! I will be back for sure :)

Flor is awesome. I paid the shop a visit for my first nostril piercing. She helped me figure out the perfect position after I expressed some concerns with potential glare and was extremely friendly. After a couple of months I contacted her when I needed help with some piercing bumps (because I accidentally infected it) and Flor was there with some quick and helpful advice. Highly recommend.

Had my design lined up even talked to the artist he was confident on my design. I had to move my appointment to one week later and needed a confirmation from him letting me know it was ok and good to go. Today I get a phone call letting me know that all of a sudden he doesnt feel comfortable with my design. This isnt what I had expected as a potential new client. I just tried calling to speak to the owner about this but there was no answer. I hope I get my deposit back.

Oscar is the artist that did mine and my wifes couples tattoos. He did an amazing job. He drew it up it and went over it to make sure we like everything about them. His lines are sharp and clean. The whole time he was with us he was very friendly and inviting. He made it a great experience and I will be going back to him for more tattoos in the future!

I got my last tattoo finished in December by Lucas and I love it. I plan on having him fill out my entire leg with my animals in clothes theme. He has affordable prices, hes easy to chat with, and hes an overall chill dude. We were able to sketch out ideas and come up with a concept that we were both happy with. Book in advance with Lucas because his work is in demand. Im getting my next tattoo with him on Saturday 3/4/23 and I am stoked.

I had 2 piercings done by Flor a few months back and loved them so much that I came back here with my sister to get our navels pierced and we both absolutely love them! Last year I had my navel pierced at another place but the piercer did not do it right and Flor recognized the mistake, walked me through the process, and the result was amazing! Called and got a same day appointment with Flor for my conch piercing. She was so professional and explained every step of the process beautifully. Great place to get some work done . My experience was with the tattoo artist Lucas and he did a peace that I had brought to him. Not only did he kill the work on the piece he also made some small changes that made the completed work look even better than the original piece . He was patient with me as the tattoo was being placed in a tender area and made sure that I was comfortable as I could be during the entire process. The storefront was great and I scheduled to have more work done in September would recommend this establishment for good work. Looking forward to my nest session. My experience was 5 stars . My wife and I attended this place quite a few times. The staff are always friendly. I am pleased with my tattoo which was done by Mayra.

I drove to this shop because no one near me would do the surface tragus with a flat surface bar/staple bar. I loved Flor. She made me feel so comfortable and I knew that she was taking her time and making sure the placement was perfect. 10/10. Would highly recommend and I would drive the 40+ miles again. :)

10/10 experience! I went to Rock Ink for a piercing with Flor and it was by far the best experience I have had at any tattoo/piercing shop. Extremely clean environment with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I was a little worried about privacy and getting a female piercer was one of my biggest concerns, and despite the shop being smaller- Flor made sure privacy was of upmost importance. She was so friendly and kind, informative, and patient! Pricing was great & I would 100% return to this location. Definitely worth the 2 hour drive. If you’re considering getting a piercing I would recommend this shop!

Rock Ink has been my goto place for a great tattoo. Oscar has done amazing work with my current tattoos within a reasonable price. He takes his time and keeps it straight with you. The piercer also is amazing, blunt and straightforward. She does the piercing so professionally, it is incredible. Overall the best place and experience for tattoos piercings I have had.

What a well kept secret! I visited Rock Ink after reading another review on the first shop I considered. Im glad I followed the recommendation to come here instead! I went in to get my nose piercing changed to a hoop and to get two ear piercings. My entire experience was great!The shop vibe was cool. They were playing UGK, so the mood was set. The shop was neat and clean. I observed the entire setup and sanitation process. Flor did my piercings with obvious expertise. I barely bled and felt almost no pain, I dont think I even flinched.They had a nice and diverse selection of body jewelry. Pricing was more than fair. Everyone is the shop were chill. I recommend and would definitely return.

I came for a lip piercing commonly referred to as spider bites the piercer Flora, is amazing and very professional... the establishment is very clean and exudes a very positive vibe and a very relaxed and familiar environment... This place is the freakin place to get all your tattoos and piercings done. I called and they were friendly, that same week I came in and a young guy helped me out with information and was very nice and professional. I hit Krista up and she was extremely helpful. Had a problem with my lip piercing. Called Rock Ink and the piercer told me right off the bat what my issue was and offered to change my ring. The jewelry was inexpensive and professional grade, so now my previously angry piercing is now fully healed!

I was doing some research on tattoo shops close to me for my first tattoo. Came across Rock Ink Tattoos & it was the best decision I could’ve made! AJ made me feel super comfortable with my first tattoo because let me tell you, I was literally shaking before going in! His work is VERY GOOD & I always recommend him to anyone that’s interested in getting a tattoo.

MYRA!!!! I was so nervous about getting my first professional tattoo, I’ve had a few stick n pokes (Ik Ik sue me lol) and wanted one covered up that was so embarrassing I couldn’t wear anything that showed it. Myra did such an amazing job!!! She’s so kind, professional and hospitable. She’s so good at carrying conversations and made me feel comfortable and like the Masterpiece she created on me was her top priority to make it look amazing. And yes, it looks amazing!!! I was able to take breaks, drink, eat, whatever to help me relax. FIVE hours. And I was so comfortable. She put up a divider to make me more comfortable since I had only my bra on for the tattoo and just omg. I really just can’t say enough positive things about this experience. I really truly enjoyed being stuck multiple times with tiny needles 😂 and I’m so beyond satisfied with the results!!!! GO TO MYRA SHE IS AMAZING!!

I got a piercing by Flor and she was so great! Very helpful and knowledgeable about her trade. Even looked into getting a tattoo on the spot and they were open to that!!! Only bad is the space inside... and the temperature inside is not very comfortable to sit still in hours on end.

Found Rock Ink Tattoos after trying the other two local joints to me in Wylie. What a difference between customer service, scheduling, skill and pricing. Went to Oscar for two tattoos and needless to say will not go to ANOTHER artist! He was extremely professional and his work is top notch! Im sure everyone here is good but Oscar is my guy!

I got my Industrial Piercing done today at Rock Ink Tattoos. It was my first time getting a piercing soo I was nervous, but they made me calm down. It was a quick procedure and I felt a bit light headed but the cause of that was because I didnt eat before. Despite that, the lady that pierced my ear, Flor, asked if I felt dizzy and I said yes the 2nd time she asked. She kindly helped me get up to sit at a couch and another lady that works there with glasses gave me jolly ranchers to feel better. Oh. Flor gave me a pepsi before piercing my ear. They were all so kind, they all asked how I was feeling and helped me feel better. Id reccomend anyone to get their piercings or tattoos done here.Again, thank you all for helping me and making sure I was feeling better ❤😊

Ive been to Rock Ink multiple times now as Im working on some large pieces and you wont find a better shop in the area. I drive 2 hours for my sessions because not only is Krista an amazing artist but the shop environment is friendly and comfortable. This isnt a large shop but what they lack in space they more than make up for in the quality of their art and the general atmosphere. Ive never seen an artist be unkind or unprofessional (ever) and the camaraderie makes you feel right at home. And did I mention the QUALITY of the artwork?? Seriously- do yourself a favor and dont waste your time or money somewhere else. By the way Ive had my fair share of tattoos done at studios in multiple states and this is my favorite by far- when my sleeve is complete Ill attempt to add photos!

Got my nose pierced. Everyone was friendly. The place was clean and lively. The piercer (sorry, I dont remember her name) explained all the steps and answered all my questions.

I recently moved to the area and was itching for some new ink. I Googled local shops with good reviews and found Rock Ink. I called and my call was answered immediately and was greeted with professionalism and friendliness. I was able to book an appt for a few days later which was great. I fully expected to not get an appt for a while due to the state of our world right now. I had a very detailed and specific idea in mind for my custom piece. I was able to print out components but needed help piecing it all together.I met with Oscar the day before my appt to discuss the design and drop off the printouts. He was very chill and professional from jump. It was an added bonus that he was supportive of my design ideas. He was clear and confirmed with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy.The piece he drew up was fantastic. It was exactly what I wanted and how I had envisioned it. Since I lack any artistic ability, I never would have come up with something so grand. I couldn’t decide on the colors so I left it open to suggestions. Oscar suggested this gorgeous robin’s egg blue and a contrasting darker blue shade with pops of a rich red. I was stoked.The shop was small but I totally dig that. It has a very personal vibe. I love the exposed brick and the down to earth set up. Plus, the music choices played were right up my alley. The place was clean and I actively saw each person taking the time to clean, sanitize, and maintain personal hygiene. They all wore masks as mandated as well.I arrived early and Oscar was already on top of things getting prepped for my appt. He confirmed the design and colors once more before applying the stencil. In true professional fashion, he asked me several times if I was pleased with the placement. It looked awesome.During the session: I fully anticipated to just sit for 4 hours with ear buds in. To my surprise, I didn’t even pull them out to use not once. We all chatted the whole time. The conversation flowed so easily. Everyone there was so chill and made it easy to just relax and get some ink. We all joked around and laughed and it made the experience very positive. I felt accepted into the Rock Ink family.The tat: This was the least painful session I have ever experienced. I chalked it all up the Oscar being very gentle. In the past, a lot of people were quite heavy handed” as I have learned it’s called. Oscar’s attention to detail and commitment to his work is ultimately what won me over. All the rest was an added bonus.Normally I would not include all of this in a review but it’s an important contrast to the experiences I have had before with tattoo shops. At Rock Ink I did not feel like just another customer. It wasn’t just a paycheck, get in and get out kind of thing. I felt appreciated and well taken care of. Rock Ink has a client for life in me. In fact, I will be seeing Oscar again in a few days for another session.

Got a septum piercing and it was very good. pretty lady with blue hair (very sorry i don’t know her name) was really nice and sweet. my septum looks amazing!!!

I absolutely love this place, the owner is extremely friendly and polite and the rest of the tattoo artists are a lot of fun. Its a great place to get tattooed, the place is chill and relaxed and everyone is super friendly; everyone is welcome. Theyre also some amazing artists, I definitely recommend you check them out.

My man AJ do it right everytime, I don’t go to any one else since I started getting ink from him. The whole staff is super professional and friendly. Love all the guys and gals at rock ink, they like family so go see em and add that art to the canvass that is yo skin!

Ive had 3 Friday the 13th tattoos from here. I need to get some actually work done, these guys are great. I hung out all night just for some cheap ink. They work hard and I recommend them to everyone.

Me & my friend came to support my cousin getting his very first tattoo. When we walked in there was a couple people but who then left after 15 minutes. After this there was no people in the shop other than me watching my cousin getting his tattoo. The man told us to leave because it was full . This is the biggest capper I have ever met. No one was in the tattoo place & I had to leave my poor cousin. He was very upset about the situation & started to get stressed out. I was there for emotional support. I missed out on something very important to him & me. Please fix your rules & think about what you are doing towards other people.

All but one of my tattoos have been done by Oscar. Ive been going to him for years. Oscar and Lucas have always been awesome to me. Ive recommended them to many people.Will keep coming 😊

My girlfriend and I just got some piercings, I got my tongue pierced and she got dermals on her chest, the lady that helped us was super sweet and patient with us and knew exactly what she was doing. If you are considering getting piercings from this shop I would say go for it 100%

After some shopping around we found Oscar at Rock Ink. As soon as we walked in we knew we were in the right place.He saw our inspiration pictures and said no problem. Gave us a quote and booked our appointments on the spot.Came in for our appointments and Oscar had the designs all worked up and exactly what we wanted.We were there for a couple of hours (he did 4 tattoos for us) and we talked about everything from family to Hot Chocolate! 😂 😂We have another appointment next week to finish up my angel wings and I cant wait! Krista is my artist. Used her a couple times. First one was a cover up she did awesome still looks great after 5 years. The second was quick and precise. Exactly what I needed. Planning a back piece.

Just finished my third seating with Adan on a half sleeve. Can’t say enough good things about Adan’s ability when it comes to black and grey tattoos. The whole shop has a great vibe.

I was very disappointed in MAYRA‘s professionalism. She was rude, wouldn’t respond to questions and very arrogant when all I desired was to get a sentimental piece done. Everyone else seems pretty cool but I would not suggest her.

I went to get my Ashley piercing done and I’m in love 🥰 I did not get the piercers name but she was amazing but I had moved while the needle was going through my lip and it came out a little lopsided but the piercer was super professional and fixed it for me and made sure I was okay while doing so and I must say the shop is very cut btw 🥰🥰

I definitely recommend this place, Flor performed a piercing on my tongue and in less than two weeks the inflammation had gone down, and I was already eating normally. Thank you Flor, you are really very professional 🙏🏼🤍.

The day there I got my first tattoo with Oscar, very good at his work, I recommend him without excluding the others who were also doing great designs, very cool and it feels like family, thanks Oscar, we continue with the second part.

The professional who assisted me was Miss Flor, she gave me all the information I asked for before starting, she gave me security by being very friendly and with total patience, I recommend her, her hands are from another world, she was very fast which made the process seamless. fun, bearable and not painful at all. 🙏🏼🌹More than satisfied with her work.

Oscar gave me a small tattoo, he took 8 hours and it wasnt for 8 hours and he didnt leave it well and he charged me 900 dollars... I really dont recommend this place. I wouldnt want the same thing to happen... and there was no After complaining, I had only given you a star... but since you want to know, this is it... and I want to upload the photo of how I left the tattoo and he doesnt accept it. I dont cover that here, I have the tickets. They were 900 and I dont have to lie. .
