Dragon Moon Tattoo Studio Inc

Ive had two tattoos done at Dragon Moon, one in 2009 and one in June 2024. Both times I had phenomenal work done by a wonderful artist. I have a couple of other tattoos that were done by a different studio, but the two that Ive had done at Dragon Moon are the only ones that get consistent, frequent compliments.Ms. Mick did my most recent tattoo and she is a star. I got my tattoo as a birthday present to myself, and she was determined to fit me in before my birthday. She worked closely with me to make sure that I got the exact art that I envisioned in my head, and she was a joy to chat with throughout my session. She even sent me a very sweet, hand-written birthday card a few days later.I recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for somewhere to get work done. Theyre outstanding.

I absolutely LOVED this place. I went for the first time and it was very clean and everyone was extremely professional. I went in for a consultation with Christian. From start to finish he was literally THE BEST. He asked me questions about my vision, he listened, took notes, offered advice when I asked for it, drew something wonderful based on different ideas I had, and then did beautiful work. He was careful and seemed to be a perfectionist like me, which I appreciated. At one point he even went and re-did part of the stencil without me even asking him to or noticing it myself, simply because he felt like it would look better that way and it did! He never seemed annoyed with all my questions or desire for suggestions. He was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable about the entire process. He explained after to me thoroughly and he made me feel very safe and comfortable. He was also very down to earth and easy to work with. The only thing negative I can say was I think it was a little overpriced based on my experiences. But hey, what isn’t expensive these days? And to me, it was worth it.

Excellent place to get a tattoo. The artist are very professional and know what they are doing.

The shop is nice and clean and the receptionist very friendly and offered me water. But..my tattoo artist “Christian” was cool but it seemed a bit price for just a mandala hand tattoo with no shading. On top of that he knew my tattoo ahead of time and had a month to prepare so I thought. I come in and it was no where near like the picture I showed him. He didn’t seem prepared. It was nice but I won’t be back.

My mother in law wanted to get her first tattoo for her 70th birthday. When my wife first met Mick she knew this was the right spot. They went together and had a great experience. Tom took great care of them for their first time and the work looks great! Based on their experience I went and had Tom do one for me. Top notch, very clean and professional. A+

There is a very good reason this shop has been open for forty years. Tom Beasley is a legend. Mick is amazing and Jacob could do any tattoo thrown at him. This shop has strict sanitary standards and the atmosphere is fun. Artistry is first class and each tattoo is meticulously administered by caring staff. I’ve gotten several tattoos at Dragon Moon an every one is a beautiful work of art.

This shop is Maryland tattoo history!!! Tom and Mick Beasley have been tattoo icons for over 40 years! Tucked away in Glen Burnie Maryland, is one of the East Coast power house couples in tattooing! They are so amazing and hard working it’s incredible! I’m super happy to have gotten a piece of tattoo history from Dragon Moon Tattoo, it was so worth it!!Thank you so much and I’ll be back!!

I have had 2 tattoos done by Jacob and love them both. He is great at listening to what I want and creating the perfect piece. Jacob is also good with customer service and multitasking, while there for my appt there were several walk-ins seeking advice and info and he was able to help them quickly but friendly. My husband has one tattoo by Jacob that he loves and 2 by Tom that he also loves. The quality of work done at this shop is just amazing. If youre thinking of going anywhere else, dont! I was going to go to another shop closer to my home but after speaking with the artist at that shop I felt uneasy, like he could care less about my ideas for my tattoo. After just one e-mail with Jacob I knew I made the right choice.

Toms great! He did an amazing job with a tattoo cover up and was very flexible with my work schedule! Already got a second tattoo from Tom after the the cover up was done. Definitely recommend and will be going back!

The work I had done by Tom Beasley is amazing. I’m sincerely blown away by it. He’s also very light handed and a gifted artist, I can’t say enough about his skill. All the other artists are super friendly as well. All in all an excellent shop that I will definitely come back to in the future.

The lady at the front desk was sarcastic and insensitive.. so I never made it past the front desk. Was looking to get a tattoo to commemorate my dead father. I told her the idea I wanted and asked if she could maybe give me a ballpark number. “Less than $10,000” she said, and proceeded to ask “how much do you have to spend?”. That felt insulting, I’m not broke, I just like to budget… really wanted to like this place… can’t get past that though. Tats are for life.

I recently had the pleasure of once again over the past year of showing off my tattoos done by Tom in the 90s that absolutely dont begin to show theirage. When the nurses and doctors see them always the comment is wow what colors. They are so correct. Surgeons and radiologists have worked and succeeded in not damaging Toms work. What a fantastic artist.Dave

Tom has done amazing work for me over the years. Most recently, a few days ago, he tattooed an absolutely stunning water dragon on my inner leg. It completes the half sleeve on that leg, with a Koi, cherry blossoms, bamboo and rough waters. Im so excited, I love it!! He is such an amazing artist that I travel more than an hour just to get to his studio. My first experience at Dragon Moon was about 17 years ago. Mick tattooed Dancing Bears around my ankle. They still look great, many years later. I would never consider going to another tattoo studio.The bottom line...When I visit Tom and Dragon Moon, I leave with a piece of gorgeous permanent artwork. Not just a tattoo, but much more.

If you prefer Cracker Barrel over a home cooked meal, Dragon Moon is not for you. This isnt mass produced tattooing for the sake of tattooing. This is a true Mom and Pop establishment, family owned and run, where all things are made with love, care, and the kind of attention that you would expect from a doting grandparent.I got my tattoo - my first one ever, as a note - from Mick, the proud Matriarch of Dragon Moon. When I first walked in for a consult, she was behind the counter with her daughter, and greeted me with such friendly warmth that I expected she might tell me Im looking too thin and offer me some leftovers. She herself is covered in tattoos, many of them faded, but each with a story that shell happily tell you (using some lovely and vulgar language if you dont take offense, which I didnt). Their studio was clean and crisp and set up to be comfortable and homey. Or maybe it was her attitude that made it feel so. Im not sure, and I dont really care. Both she and the space are welcoming.I had a prepared design, but was open to alterations. Mick was funny and friendly, aware that this was my first tattoo, she regularly asked me, before, during, and after, How you doing? You okay? She was adamant about staying true to the original artists style, and always asked permission before altering anything in my design. It showed a professional artistic respect which I greatly admired.She also had a focus on, What is this going to look like in 20 years? coupled with, I want you to wake up every morning, loving this tattoo. That kind of forethought tells me that everyone at Dragon Moon has integrity in their work, that theyre not doing this for a buck, but because they love the art of it.I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Go there if you have a brilliant design and need a brilliant artist. Go there if you have an idea that you need fleshed out by someone with almost 40 years experience. Go there if youre just itching to get inked and want to make sure its as high quality as can be. Go there to get the tattoo equivalent of Grandmas homemade roast beef sandwich, because we all know the rule - Grandmas food is always the best.

From the moment I walked in I was warmly welcomed from who I thought was the receptionist but was actually the co-owner and my tattoo artist.I must say tha Ms. Mick has a craft.From her art to the conversation.I definitely enjoyed myself and even during the painful moments.I highly recommend. And I will definitely return for more work.

I had my first in 92 and most recent tat done 2018 by Mick and she was super sweet and very talented. I had a cover up done and took 5hrs start to finish which didnt feel that long. I am getting ready to make another appointment to get one in memory of my Mom. I definitely recommend making an appointment.

Dragon moon is one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been to. Super friendly, professional , very clean, sterile & they have some of the best artists around. I have been going to them for years 10+ . Mick is amazing and friendly & Jacob is one of the best artists Ive seen around. Theres some artists in their that have been tattooing for 40+!!!!Its a Maryland treasure for tattoos thats hidden in Glen Burnie. They are one of my favorite tattoo shops of Maryland.

I will never go anywhere else but dragon moon again. I had a bad tattoo and wanted to cover it up. I went to another shop with a design and they told me Yeah no problem that will work but it was obvious they didnt really care. I talked to Tom and he was honest and told me that my design wouldnt be able to cover my tattoo. He worked with me and got me a great piece to cover the old tattoo. From the best quality work to honesty about what they can deliver and actually caring about giving their customers great art, dragon moon is the best shop

I never thought I would get a tattoo but then years after my mom past I decided I wanted something I could touch and think of her. So I found a yellow rose tattoo and contact Dragon Moon studios. Jacob was the one who sketched my design with my moms name imbedded in the vine. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable the whole time, joking with me since it was my first.... of soon to be more, so he said. I love my tattoo- thank you so much Jacob.

Got my first Tattoo at this place, and it was amazing. Theyre so nice about it. They were very helpful with giving me the information I needed to make my decision. They dont pressure you into ideas you dont want, nor do they push their artwork on you. They understand this artwork is forever on your body, and do their best to help you make the best decision about your next tattoo.

I have not been to the shop yet. I did have the pleasure of meeting 2 great people today at my job. I just call them the Beasleys!) Just a cool down to earth pair. My daughter and I had our first tattoos done at Dragon Moon by Jacob. He was extremely patient with us 1st Timers and made us feel very comfortable. My daughter passed out while she was getting tattooed and Jacob knew just what to do and assured me she was fine and that it happens sometimes when someone hasnt ate a substantial meal before a tattoo. He fed her candy, got her sugars up, gave her water, and cool rag for her head. He gave her a little break and then finished her tattoo and it looks awesome. Then he did my tattoo and it was great, exactly what I wanted. Going back very soon to add on to it. I cant wait! I have to say I didnt know what to expect and was a nervous wreck. Jacob put me at ease and my tattoo didnt even hurt (a little in one spot, but thats it!) Also shop is very clean and I felt that they take much care to ensure a very sanitary, healthy tattoo and piercing facility! See you soon, Jacob!

I wanted to see if the place where I got my first tattoo was still in operation, and to my surprise it still is. In Sept 1982 the day after I got back home in Bmore after graduating from USMC boot camp at Paris Island I wanted a Marine tattoo. I found Dragon Moon and had Tom give me my first tattoo. I live in North Carolina now and just got it recolored, but honestly it has held up pretty good these last 37 years.Kudos to you Tom for successfully staying in business all these years.Next time Im up that way visiting my grandkids Ill be sure to stop in and get something new.

Great clean place. Tom is an awesome guy and takes his time. We had great conversation during the tattoo. It’s a family business that has been in the same location since 1978.

I have one Tattoo done by Mick and my second in progress by Adam. I wouldnt go anywhere else! They all have their unique styles. Additionally, I get all my piercings done by Jacob. A completely professional place, they are pioneers in the industry!

I was pierced twice by this location and Jacob was amazing. No blood, no crust, extremely friendly and fun. Promised Id never go to another piercer again because Jacob and DMT is so fantastic!

Had several tattoos done here in the mid-80s by Juli Tomss first wife, Tom tattoed my back and Mick did one of her first tattoos on me . This place is the most professional in the business, they are not cheap but you pay for what you receive top-notch tattooing.Highly recommend this establishment.

I went in for my first tattoo, needless to say I was super nervous, but Micky is really awesome and took the time to explains me everything , she calm me down and help me relax, the experience was awesome and I am really pleased and happy with my tattoo,I am definitely coming back! I got my first tattoo here. My first time visiting the USA. Jacob is great at his job . I was 16 and earnt more than half my money for my tattoo playing bingo I forgot the American term of this.My uncles moved now or when I was there last year I would of gone back for another

Called as soon as they opened and asked them to fit me in as they could. I took off work early to treat myself to a piercing and make the appt time. Go there waited 30 min for Jacob to come tell me his previous appt ran late so I could either come back in two days when he was available again or I could try to repierce my own tongue. I was very cordial and so was he but I was extremely disappointed.

Been working with Tom (owner) on my full sleeve and just over amazing work and flexibility....friendly staff, plus Tom and his wife just awesome team. Definitely recommend this place

Tom Beasley has done a lot of work on me. Hes a man of few words but if you start up a conversation that hes into hell totally open up. A very intelligent man.Im very much pleased with ALL of my final tattoos that Tom has inked me up with.

Wife and her friend both got a basic design. Jacob has a real knack for making people feel comfortable. Price was very reasonable and Jacob easily transferred image from Google to paper template. A steady hand and calling demeanor.

Lost a ball while trying to clean one of my piercings at home (which was done at another shop years ago).. called ahead and spoke with Jacob who handled the issue so nicely when I came in.. and didnt even charge me for the ball he took off a new ring!
