Exotic Pleasures Tattoo & Piercing

I have been coming to this tattoo piercing shop for ever since my twenties when they were off Richie Hwy. this is nothing against Justin I think he is outstanding but when I tell you them new front desk girls don’t know the normal long term customers that tell and speak highly of this business I even brought my niece to get her first piercing done here. Justin normally charges me 10$ for my nose ring and the new girl at the front desk charged me 20 for this little tale nose ring smh. Just to let her know she just lost a customer that buys all her piercings jewelry there and my niece we will be going else where because 20 for the nose ring is nutz. Yup I will be traveling to Annapolis to get my jewelry thanks to the front desk girl that made them loose a customer never will I again buy. Please go get your jewelry from down Annapolis and they have a better selection. And the fact I told her Justin normally only charge 10 she looked confused and didn’t even attempt to at least ask him about his regular customers now going somewhere where else.

Wouldnt recommend. I usually dont leave reviews but Im super big on customer service. I recently got a double tragus and went back because my diamond fell out when I was cleaning my piercing. When I got to the shop I wasnt seen by the original piercer who did my tragus, instead I was seen by the apprentice. Which confused me given that my original piercer was there. She stated that my ear wouldnt need to be re pierced but she couldnt seem to get the ring back through without causing me a bunch of pain. So I ended up leaving without getting my jewelry put back in. Waste of my time and money. What sucks is I had planned to become a regular client due to the exceptional experience my first visit. It really sucks knowing that I couldnt get my jewelry put back in properly. It was a beautiful piercing ;( also my tragus was not even a week old. I really am disappointed being that I heard great things about this place. I wish this couldve been resolved. On my first visit I got 3 piercings without hesitation and now I feel like I shouldve never spent my money here. Customer service goes a long way.

I was having trouble finding a piercing place that would pierce my 8yr old daughter’s ears. She was so excited to have this done. I desperately wanted to avoid the earring gun at Claire’s - my *Mom* research lead me to understanding a professionally done piercing with a piercing needle is a sterile procedure and causes less trauma to the ear. I found this place after calling many local shops which didn’t do younger children ear piercings. Exotic Pleasures was able to take us same day of inquiry, and Justin gave my daughter a perfectly placed, perfectly even ear piercing. The room was separate from those getting tattoos, and was clean and private. Cost was reasonable. Atmosphere was laid back. Thank you Justin for making my daughters birthday wish come true and I appreciate your expertise and professionalism!

Tat by Big Ralph ... great artistry and detail, very understanding, and professional! Nose Piercing by Justin ... he put me at ease, made the process quick and less painful than Id thought, he was very professional and gave me great advice on care practices. Ive had no issues with either procedure. Ill be going back! :)

New client and so far I have been very pleased with the services and friendly staff.I got a 2 nd piercing in my nose and my son and I both receive tattoos. Josh has been amazing and does great work.Will update later… he plans to fix some shotty work on my son that was previously done elsewhere. Would definitely recommend This business.

Justin did an amazing job piercing my tongue. I had a bad experience with Inkspired tattoo. They punctured my vein, and I was so scared to get it done again. Im glad I came here. Justin calmed my anxiety. He was safe, cautious, and reassuring. He showed that he cared and took his time. Justin answered all my questions patiently and didnt rush. He even made sure I had the information to contact him Incase I had questions. I appreciate you more than words. And am so happy. My only regret is that I didnt come here from the start..I definitely recommend exotic pleasures and would definitely go back for all future piercings. They are very clean, professional, and respectful artists and piercers. Thank you!

Submitted a tattoo inquiry through the shops website and received a response the next day for clarification. After responding to that I did not hear anything and still have not heard back despite 3 follow up emails. I understand shops and artists being very busy, however not receiving an email for a month and possibly longer is incredibly unprofessional. Would not recommend!!!!

I had a horrible experience with this place . i got a helix piercing saturday and by sunday night my piercing was beginning to throb , and cause deadly pain . The piercing began to sink into my skin and swell abnormally causing my other piercings to have pain also . Monday i had to go to a different piercing shop to get both of the piercings removed. The piercer seemed experienced but used a way to small earring in my ear . They also are very pricey.

I have gone to Exotic Pleasures for most of my piercings and a few of my tattoos, nearly all of which have been at the hands of Paul Harting (even back to his Doomsday days) with a piece or two from Josh Heckathorn as well. Have always been very satisfied with my product as well as the experience as a whole. Place has been around for a long time and has seen their share of artists and, at least since Ive been going, theyve all been worth it

Brought my 17yr old daughter here for her first tattoo. She saw Ralph and absolutely loved him. This isnt where I personally get my tattoos, but my shop doesnt tattoo under 18 and they always have a long wait. We were able to walk in and get what she wanted. They are a little pricey, but as long as the quality is good, who cares

Just took my daughter in for a conch and tragus piercing. She is only 17, and Paul was absolutely wonderful with her! She was beyond nervous, and he talked her through every step of the way. Also, he addressed all of her concerns and questions regarding various activities while healing, all with the utmost patience. Im very appreciative, and will bring her back for any further piercings. A+++ 100% awesome service and staff.

Ive had multiple tattoos and a few piercings here. My daughter got her nose done here also. All of those were great with no complaints.. However I recently brought my daughter back for her belly piercing and its not right. Everything was fine until the needle went in. Only option is to take it out and have it redone. So Im out the money and she has to do it again.. Thats not cool..

Had my first tattoo done here by Dez, she ended up creating an incredibly beautiful depiction of Malenia from Elden ring above the great runes, and I couldnt be happier. Already have my 2nd booked for next month :)

My girlfriend was able to make an appointment through email with Justin for a nose piercing and two dermal implants. In and out quickly and he even adjusted the dermal anchor so she wouldnt have and trouble in the future. Awesome service and practice. Highly recommended.

He did amazing job he definitely worked with me with my anxiety and gave me a few minutes to prep myself for it ... I would definitely recommend them to family and friends...🥰 I love it and think he did amazing job

Scheduled an appointment with the piercer a week in advance through email and when I arrived there was no response when knocking (their covid protocol) and when calling the shop. This seems to be a trend with this shop. Just go to a more reputable place unless you like wasting your personal time.

I definitely will go back when Im ready for my next piercing,Justin is a nice man,I bought new earrings for my piercings I already have,4 of them and he put them all in for me,and I got a new one in my left ear,fast and it was over.Thank you Justin!

I visited the shop on March 7th and put down a $50 deposit. I wanted a realistic portrait and one of their artists said he could do that along with some designs around it. It’s been three weeks and have not recieved one design from him and still have nothing scheduled. He continues to tell me that every photo I send him can’t be used for the portrait because of “shading” and “position”. He has suggested that because he can’t use the photos I should get something else instead of a portrait. He refused to refund my deposit even though he can’t do the work I requested after telling me he could. Don’t go here if you’re looking for anything realistic or detailed.

Just got a touch up/fix of a tattoo that I had done about 5 or 6 years ago. It was a pretty poorly done tattoo. Paul at Exotic Pleasures did a splendid job fixing years of an embarrassing tattoo in less than 2 hours. Ill be going back to get more touch-ups and maybe some new ones. Great place!

Horrible horrible experience!! My boyfriend got his nose done and it got super infected for a month even after doing what he was told. & even after the piecing it was bleeding extremely bad. Witch I thought was also weird bc mine never did when I went elsewheres. Prices way too high as well. would not come here again!

I had a issue at another local piercing place wherein they did not measure my downsize correctly and it needed to be changed before it grew within the skin. The entire situation at this shop was painless and easy. The piercers where very knowledgable and didnt sell me overpriced jewelry which was a huge plus as I havent experienced that elsewhere. When it was time to downsize again I attempted to come back and each time I was met with a empty dark shop. Ive gone three times on Wed around 12:10-12:30 and additionally around 3:00pm on another day I began calling in attempts to make a appt. Unfortunately, I did not get a response. I would suggest if the shop is not to be open at 12:00pm as posted then advertisement should be changed as such. I would love to make this a shop I frequent, but thats hard when I can never get serviced.

This was my first time going to an official tattoo studio, and Im happy it was Exotic Pleasures. The employees are very friendly and know what they are doing. Definitely will be comming back for ink next time!

Quick professional service. I get all of my piercings done here for a reasonable price by experienced staff. By far the best place I’ve been for piercings. It’s definitely a hidden gem.

I just had a tattoo done by Joshua. Wow wow wow. Hes quiet but if his quiet produces such precise work he can stay as quiet as he wants. I couldnt be more happy. Thank you Joshua.

Was in contact for a tattoo and I guess they forgot I was scheduling one. Had a date planned when I called to confirmed the artist was on vacation for the date we discussed and no one in the shop wanted to help me because I wasnt their client. Terrible business wouldnt go here for free

Had nose piercing done here. Looks fantastic. It was put in so fast, I didnt even know the gentleman was done. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Did not do a straight belly button piercing, did not check work after completion , and was upset because the customer stated the piercing was not straight. Poor Customer Service and Communication Skills.

All my piercings got infected. i clean them and did what i was told . they are very friendly i give them that . and there prices are really high
