Such a cool place! Scott was super friendly and knowledgeable. He has amazing talent and a gentle hand. All of his artwork is top notch and so are his jokes. Kat is also an amazing artist and super friendly. My wife has multiple Kat tattoos and I often get lost looking at the detail. Best/most honest shop in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Completely in love with my tattoos by Kat. Shes been helping me with the beginning of a leg sleeve that will eventually cover up some mistake tattoos that I had done a few years ago. Both Kat and Scott have helped me come up with a plan. Kats tattooing is beautiful! I cant wait to see it all looks like once Im fished.I highly recommend either Kat or Scott for any tattooing needs. They have very different styles but both are incredible artists.

I have been tattooed by Hole in Wall’s artist, Scott on three separate occasions now and I gotta say he and everyone in the shop are super cool, down to earth, and overall wickedly talented artists who make sure to take care of their clients. In my most recent and longest session, Scott allowed me to get up and move around and was constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable in the duration. 10/10 will be coming here again very soon and I highly recommend anyone who is able to to inquire about an appointment with any and all of them!

Second time at Hole in the Wall getting tattooed by Heather and I can’t say enough amazing things. Heather is extremely professional and easy to talk to, and her work is beautiful. I started working on a sleeve and she has exceeded my expectations with her artwork. I cannot wait to get back in her chair. I haven’t been tattooed by the other artists Kat and Scott but they are always equally friendly and professional! Love this place and so stoked to have found an artist who I trust and feel comfortable with.

I was tattooed by Heather this year, and it was a wonderful experience. She was professional, and made me feel completely at ease, which is very important to me. Her designs are stunning, I have had so many compliments on her work! The line work is to die for, and she used this special healing sticky paper on it that made aftercare incredibly easy. It healed beautifully! I can’t wait to come back and get more.

I go to Heather for tattoo work and her designs exceed my expectations every time. She typically has plenty of flash available to choose from but has no problem creating quality custom content.Apart from her unique black work style and competitive pricing, Heather has a compassionate and patient demeanor that makes me feel like an actual guest recieving beauty modification rather than being a sketch pad. I have been working on a sleeve with Kat for about a year and I couldnt be happier. Kats skills are amazing and I get compliments on my arm all the time. I love her work. I havent been tattooed by Scott yet but after all the hours Ive sat in the chair with Kat, Ive had a chance to see his work and its amazing too. There are not enough stars i give them a 10/5! When I first went to hole in the wall tattoo(3years ago)I was treated great very friendly and professional. the beautiful art around the shop and very clean and organized ! My tattoo was done cleanly shaded perfect exactly what I asked for Shelley is an amazing artist ! So I went in again (a month ago)and got a misfits tattoo and again was treated great! I got my misfits tattoo from Ellie there and she did an amazing job! Again I got exactly what I had asked for I would recommend hole in the wall for anyone they are the best! I will be returning for any work I want done! You wont find a nicer more talented bunch! This is the shop you want to visit for a tattoo in Glenwood springs! Shelley and Ellie are awesome!!!

Extremely unprofessional. Owners feel the need to bash artists on social media like children. If you want horrible vibes and bad energy, this is the place for you. If you want adults who build up the tattoo community, go to ANY other tattoo shop.

I got tattooed sometime ago but forgot to leave a review! I loved the work that was done. I had 2 sessions for a large arm piece and both times were great. I felt a little light headed the first time and as I alerted them they were concerned about me and showed tons of respect! 10/10 recommend them!

Amelia Kraft was great! I did some research on getting a tattoo in Glenwood Springs Colorado and after looking at all my options I chose Amelia at Hole in the wall tattoo. She did a great cover up for me that both covered the old tattoo and provided me with a fantastic new piece of artwork. Amelia is Professional, friendly, and a great artist and provided a great tattoo experience with supper clean work environment and professionalism towards her trade. I would definitely recommend Amelia to anyone looking to get tattoo work done in the Glenwood Springs area.

Ive gotten tattooed by Shelley at Hole in the Wall for eight years now. I have tattoos on my legs, stomach, back, shoulders, arms, chest, neck and hands from her. All of my tattoos have healed great and been outlined and shaded very well. Ive never been disappointed going here nor would I go anywhere else. I have different art from black and grey roses, colored roses, calligraphy, animals, scenery, an hour glass among many other things. I have also had my nose, tongue, lips, belly button and nipples pierced by her which all healed perfectly. Hole in the Wall is a comfortable and fun place to have work done. I enjoy looking at her art on the walls while I get tattooed on. I recommend Hole in the Wall to everyone.

Kat and Austin are the only tattoo artists I have! Austin does amazing script, and hes so versatile with his styles. I love all of his calligraphy. Kat comes up with crazy, beautiful designs that complement your body and personality. Kat executes her work gently and pays great attention to detail. She genuinely cares about the art she leaves on your body.

Came in while visiting Colorado and am absolutely in love with the shop and everyone in it. I messaged their Instagram page and got assigned a tattoo artist who I emailed with for about a month to make sure everything was how I wanted it. When I showed up to the shop, everything was clean and everyone was super friendly. After about hour 2, I was hurting pretty bad haha, but Scott was so understanding! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Will definitely be back the next time Im in Glenwood!

Hole in the wall is THE place to get tattooed and/or pierced. I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Heather! She perfectly depicted and executed my idea without anything more than mere words. The talent in this shop is out of this world phenomenal! Cannot wait for next time!

I went in and got 4 tattoos and 3 new piercings and I am happy with the price quoted to me.My artist did an excellent job covering a small anchor on my foot and he completely fulfilled the ideas I had for my other 3.My piercer was incredibly down to earth and made me feel very at ease and almost as if we were long lost friends.My only complaints would be (1) when it came time to bandage my tattoos, it was done so with bounty paper towels and tape. Im no expert but I can say from experience that having a rough paper towel rubbing on a fresh tattoo (or 4) is a less than desirable feeling.(2) I was given literally no aftercare instruction or pointers for neither my traigus or double forward helix piercings.I realize this is 2018 and everyone has access to Google ( 😁 ) but some personalized aftercare instructions would have been very helpful.Overall I was pleased with my experience here and will hopefully return next year for another tattoo.

Very nice staff, Scott seems to be good and know his stuff. Very down-to-earth dude and is nice and open to anything that you like want or to change. I did a touch up and redo on a prison tattoo and I am very happy with the way it turned up

My sister and I went in to get pierced. Shelly was quick, nice, but didnt give any instructions on aftercare or what warning signs to look out for. I had to approach her and ask. Also she didnt even bother asking what kind of ring we wanted.

I got 6 piercings by Ellie. She was very professional and so much fun to chat with. She even offered to change out my jewlrey for me once all healed up. I will be going back for sure!!!!

Decided to get a tattoo that was special to me and the artist helped carry out my idea flawlessly. I was a walk-in and the artist took her time with the design to make sure it was perfect. Definitely would recommend.

They have sent customers to its, Lifestyle Laser, for lightening for cover ups and we send people to them who want a new tattoo or cover up done. Works out great!
