Spyder Rose Tattoo

I cant say enough nice things about Spyder Rose Tattoo! My mom and I came in without an appointment last week and they graciously fit us in before closing. Super clean space, everyone was very professional, and Im in love with my new tattoo done by Jessie! 10/10, will be back here again.(Note about the picture- the aspen tree was done here, the other tattoos on my leg were done elsewhere by another artist.)

I recently moved to the area and decided it was time to add another tattoo to my collection. I researched shops and artists in Glenwood Springs and a few in Grand Junction… Nate’s portfolio at Spyder Rose seemed to match the style and quality I wanted. I went to the shop for a consultation and was impressed by the friendliness of the artists and cleanliness of the shop itself. I provided a couple reference photos and Nate created a beautiful custom design. Less than two weeks later, I have the piece I wanted and it’s healing very well so far. The price was reasonable and what I expected to pay for the size and quality. I’m really happy with my entire experience at Spyder Rose and will work with Nate on another piece in the near future.

Shout out to Kelly Jo for making our experience enjoyable. My best friend and I were in town and she decided she was ready for her first tattoo. Kelly Jo made it memorable and fun while still explain everything and maintaining professionalism! Can’t wait to come back as this might be part of our yearly girls trip 🫶🏼

My husband and I went for our first tattoo on Fathers Day. We made our decision to go the day before...and they fit us in. Jed was a true artist!!! He took his time drawing out just what we wanted and really nailed it. Definitely going to be return customers. We have received so many compliments: fine lines and beautiful work

I was in Glenwood Springs on a girls trip and we decided to get some tattoos! I reached out about a week before we got here and they were incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating for our group of 5! She took our design inspiration and turned it into a work of art! Once we arrived at the shop, we were all so excited to be there, we asked if she could squeeze in second tattoos for all us. She did! Jess was a consummate professional. Meticulous with each design and every detail, and took time to get each of our specific requests just right. We cannot recommend this shop enough. Or this artist. Jess is one of a kind. Spyder Rose Tattoo and Jess absolutely made our girls trip extra magical!

Everyone here is warm and friendly. Just got my first tattoo here and it’s perfect. They enjoy what they do and work with you to customize and get it right before they start. Give you all the info you need and don’t try to push or sell you anything. Chill vibes and good art.

I had a great session with Jess ! I booked the appointment a week ago and sent my design thru email. It was very easy to get a schedule with them .They were very responsive. The shop was very clean .I was happy cause not only I got what I exactly wanted but she made it look better . Jess was very nice and accomodating .I like how she gave me options and details for a better design. She was very gentle and careful.Greatly reccommend this shop if you want to get a tattoo in the valley.

Jess was the most phenomenal experience! She made my doggie special just for me forever!!! Her work is CLEAN , efficient, honest to the point and GREAT PRICES!!! We were walk ins and we were in and out on top of everything!

This shop is a great shop. My husband and I went in for our 13th wedding anniversary and we called and Jess was able to get us in that evening. Going in with picture of what we wanted and she turned it into a much better work of art then the picture. Stopped in for a walk in passing through from Iowa. The staff was AMAZING and the artist JESS who did my tattoo did a tremendous job!!! Line work is ON POINT!! Would recommend to anyone passing through or in the area!!!

Super clean place, cool vibes. My friend and I got matching Roman numeral tattoos and Jessie Heglin was awesome! Made us feel comfortable for my friends first tattoo, had candy for being lightheaded and made sure we were super comfy while getting tatted. Great experience overall

My husband & I got tattoos yesterday by artist/owner Nate, and we could not be more satisfied with his work! We went with Spyder Rose after reading positive reviews on Yelp and Google, so while we had some context, wed never met Nate or been in the shop until our tat date.Communication:From my initial phone call to email correspondence to face-to-face interaction, Nate was professional, accommodating and kind. His confident, relaxed disposition was immediately reassuring. As he worked, the three of us enjoyed casual conversation. Nate continually checked in with us to ensure we were as comfortable as could be and happy with how the ink was coming along. He also provided clear instructions for follow-up care.Skill:Before we arrived, Nate had thoughtfully modified the designs we requested (generic ones we found via Google images) to more accurately depict our dog Haze. Throughout the session, Nate referred to a photo of Haze to get the nuances just right. He had a gentle touch and a steady hand.Atmosphere:The shop itself has a calm and cozy but still polished vibe. It is a clean, creative, unpretentious space. Bella the shop dog kept us company here and there as she roamed from one of her beds to another, and two other staff (Allen and Jess, I think?) politely chimed in on our convo now and then.Value:We were pleasantly surprised when presented with the bill. Given how much time and energy Nate spent on us, we feel we got the best deal for quality work we could have hoped for!This was my husbands first tattoo. Minutes after we left our appointment, he said he wouldnt bother going anywhere else for his next one. I feel the same way. Thanks, Nate! I have no doubt well be seeing you in the near future.

Only good experiences so far!!I got my first tattoo, and 2 piercings here. Good prices, and friendly environment! Jess is an amazing piercer! Super friendly, very relaxed, and calm, which ultimately helped me relax as well. Will be going back!

This shop was amazing! All of the artists were friendly and were so accomodating. We came in as a Bachelorette group and they were able to fit us in and went above and beyond in hospitality. My personal artist Jess did not only an outstanding job on creating my tattoo, but also explained every step in the process! I absolutely LOVE my tattoo and will definitely come back for another by Jess.

Jessie did my tattoo here and was phenomenal! A friend and I walked in and got in pretty quick and got such good work done. I would happily go back there for a tattoo by Jessie and I live like 10 hours away.

My friend and I went in there for some ear piercings, we had Jess and she was great. She was very sweet, talked us through our anxiousness and had a great way of calming us down. The business itself was very clean and organized, it’s not a place where you feel rushed or crazy, very quiet and welcoming area. I definitely recommend getting piercings here, they’re very clean and have more experience than people I’ve been to before.

Nate and Kelly Jo were awesome. We got in same day with 4 small tattoos for 4 people. Three of us first timers. They were extremely friendly, kind and funny while also immensely talented. They gave all of us exactly what we wanted and could not be happier or more impressed. Highly recommend this place.

This place is absolutely amazing! Jessi and Kelly were so nice, they got me and my dad in on a very short notice, they were so helpful and made our visions a reality! The owner and everyone we encountered during our visit are so sweet and relatable, it can be a little intimidating going to a tattoo shop and they were so welcoming! Absolutely fantastic service here at the Rose! Always easy to get scheduled in, had tattoos done by Kelly and Chad and have had friends get some from the other artists. They are always amazing, great quality work! The staff is extremely friendly. Will be coming back a few times over.

This was my first tattoo, so I was nervous of what to expect. Nate the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful on the phone and got me set up with Allen. Allen was very kind, wanted to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for and took the time to make sure everything was clean, and in order before starting. I was nervous with high expectations of what my art would actually turn out like, and Allen exceeded my expectations of what I had seen and I couldnt be happier. Highly recommend these guys!

Went here with my mom and sister on Halloween had a great experience. My mom and I were getting our first ever tattoos and we love them. Professional and clean atmosphere, cute dogs too! Nate did mine and my moms and was great, hes been doing it for over 20 yrs. Chad did my sisters and she loves hers too. I will come back in the future for another one!

I came to the shop with a friend as walk-ins. It was my first tattoo and I wouldn’t change a thing. They were super accommodating and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The guy that tatted me made me feel relaxed and although I didn’t have an exact tattoo in mind, he came up with one from my ideas and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted. I would def go back if I’m ever in the area again. 10/10, would recommend.

Kelly Jo was amazing!! My sister and got matching tattoos here, and it was so cool to hang out with her and watch her work. My sister also got a tattoo with her the week before and keeps talking about how fun it was to watch Kelly Jo take her design and adjust it on her iPad to make sure it was exactly what she wanted. Im in love with how my tattoo turned out (definitely my new favorite that I have) and definitely thinking about coming back here in the future.

Awesome quality, was an amazingly easy process, walked in that morning, had an appointment and a beautiful new tattoo a few hours later. I found that most tattoo shops around Glenwood area, are not that easy. The actual tattoo, was beautiful, crisp, clean and amazing art. I’m so glad I went. It was very clean, professional and the atmosphere is awesome.Definitely recommend.

Jessie has done both my helix and my navel piercings and they have been great experiences! Definitely my favorite piercing shop in Glenwood and I highly recommend. Reasonable rates at $50 per piercing. Jessie was very nice and made me feel comfortable.

Love this tattoo shop. Its the superior in my opinion of the places around. I have gotten 2 tattoos here, both small and for Friday the 13th, but everyone that I know that has a tattoo from here loves it. Noah is a fantastic artist, but the one that my sister recently got a tattoo from was Chad. He was very kind and professional, and did an outstanding job on very fine details. Highly recommend this place, its clean and friendly, and youll probably walk out with a tattoo youre happy with.

I love this shop!!! We were traveling through on a roadtrip and had a hankering for some ink. We called ahead and they said walk ins were absolutely welcome, asked us what we wanted and how big, etc. They were so amazingly friendly and chill. Never made us feel “less than” for not getting some crazy big piece across our back. Nate, Kelly, and Chad were more than welcoming, it felt like meeting back up with old friends. The quality and attention to detail went above and beyond. I will ABSOLUTELY be back for more, and i will only be getting tattooed at Spyder Rose when i stop into town. 10/10 would recommend. Came in on a whim, my wife and I wanted to get matching tats with our anniversary date. Its something we had been thinking of for a while. Nate was very helpful from the beginning, as we simply gave him some direction and let him run with the idea.I am very impressed with the final product and both our tattoos seem to be healing quickly. My wife and I have a fair amount of ink between us, and we both agree that our experience with Spyder Rose was great.

I was in Glenwood killing time when I decided I would get a tattoo. I walked in to Spyder Rose because it was the first place I came to. This being a walk-in, I lucked out since they had an available block of time. Anyway, from the time that I walked in to the time that I walked out, everything was excellent. They were very courteous and welcoming. Tanya was the artist that worked on and I felt very relaxed with her. She talked to me throughout which helped me keep my mind off of the pain. She made a suggestion about the design that I had not thought which made it look even better. My tattoo was reasonably priced and I will definitely come back when I have another tattoo in mind. This is my go-to place from now on.

I just got tattoos with 5 of my bridesmaids for our bachelorette party and could not be more happy with the entire experience at Spyder Rose!! We were welcomed with the happiest smiles by Nate, Kelly and Chad when we walked in asking if they could do FIVE different tattoos that day. Every time my husband and I vacation to Glenwood we plan on tattoos. We have gotten two each here and both times loved it! Allen has done them both times and he’s amazing! They don’t give you the judgey angry vibe you get from some tattoo shops! Thanks Spyder Rose! See ya next year.

Chad was absolutely amazing. I came in with a piece of art that a friend had designed and chad took the time to fix it and make it look perfect. Very clean. We walked in on vacation and after going to at least 4 other shops, this one said they would do a small tattoo my fiance has been wanting. Nate did a an awesome job. Even stayed a little after closing to finish. Will definitely go back to get another next time we are in the area.

Nate was the one who picked up my call and drew up what I had in mind and we communicated back and forth through email. Made an appointment was in and out in an hour. The apprentice did my and my friends foot tattoo, and did a great job. She was so sweet and professional. I really liked the vibe, everyone was super nice and chill. I loved the support and positivity they provided each other. Over-all, I highly recommend and will be going back.

Came in on a Monday and was a walk in. Got lucky as Chad was in and happy to do the piece I wanted. He ended up adding some unbelievable additions and in the end had a half sleeve. Price was discussed upfront and during the session so there were no surprises. The cost was an unbelievable value for the exceptional work Chad completed. I will definitely be back! The relaxed and fun atmosphere complements the skill in this shop to justify an easily placed five stars. Kelly worked on two massive pieces for me on 7-5-19, and her skill well exceeded anything I could have imagined. If you’re looking for something from the simple to the extraordinary, you can rest assured that the artists here will take good care of you and send you off with work done that both you and they are proud of. Now get off your butt and get some ink!

Absolutely love this place. Got my first tattoo here when they first opened with Matt E. Hayes and still looks new. Just got a Harley Quinn tattoo there done by Kelly and it turned out even better then the drawing I showed her. Im beyond happy with the way it turned out.

Everyone was cool and friendly, they had me cracking up while i was waiting to get tattooed. Nate did a wonderful job and will now be my new tattoo artist. All the other artist are amazing as well. They all do great work.

A friend and I came in a few months back to get daith piercings. They dropped the ball end on the ground, searched for abound 5 minutes and tried to still use it without cleaning it.Within the first hour, the end of both our jewelry had fallen out. They put them back on, and they fell off again the next day. I had to go to another shop after going home and got it put on for the 3rd time. That artist put it on correctly and held. The hole is not straight at all and we both had to remove our jewelry and allow them to close. This is my 16th piercing so I know how to take care of them. No infection but still not healed after 6 months due to the incorrect position and direction of the hole. For $50 I expected a much better experience all around. Very disappointed.

Came to Glenwood Springs for vacation and decided to get a spur of the moment tattoo. Chad was very flexible in getting me in, and drew up a beautiful design. Very happy I came here, surpassed any expectations I had. Highly recommend going here

Spyder Rose is amazing. All three are super talented, friendly, and helpful! I decided to go with Chad, he fixed and finished a tattoo I had. He turned an ok tattoo into a masterpiece. He has mad skills. Cant thank him enough, and super excited to have my sleeve done.

Great/professional/helpful!!! I arrived in last monday to this place looking to get my first ever tattoos done, I wanted a Hebrew word on the inside of my arm and my recently deceased brothers initials on my left Pec area somewhere close to my heart, Matt informed me that he had a booking that would take him past 6 but because I was leaving the next day he said he would do it for me. Both the Tattoos turned out great I felt almost no pain and was very relaxed because I had looked through Matts portfolio and his work is very impressive. all in all great Tattoo work good price and great service would definitely get more done here if I was back in Glenwood!

Tattoo overall not bad, customer service and pricing terrible! Female artist (Jess) was rude when asked if I could add something. Stopped over and over to do other things. And lastly, when the appointment was made I was told $175 would be my total, $270 is what I was charged! I’ve had a few tattoos done at this location. I won’t be back!

I have had a bunch of tatts done here. Nate has been excellent, skills, personality, and a comfortable place to be. Bella and Bambi also are a treat to see each time i am there. will be back again and again and again. I like traditional american style stuff.

On a whim decided to get my first Tattoo.. and walked in to Spyder Rose. Kelly (who ended up doing my tattoo) greeted me and made me feel so comfortable. She helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job!!!

I was scheduled to get a tattoo at another place & it fell through. I literally walked right in picked a tat, & spot to put it. Chad B. Was extremely helpful, & helped me design my tattoo right on the spot. No hesitation he drew it up super fast, & my new tat was done in less than 2 hrs. Hes cool as hell, & extremely talented. Theres no1 else I will be going to for my future love of art tattoos..... Thanks Man ;-)

Honestly the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I have never left a review for good or bad in my life, but felt like I needed to after this experience. I called this place multiple times about getting small tattoos with two of my friends, the first time I was told we could definitely get in the following weekend and to send an email with what we all wanted and some details and that we would get an email back soon. My friend also emailed after getting the same response a week prior but had never received a response, so I tried. When I got no response after a few days, I called back and no one answered the phone so I left a nice message and received no call back. Then I called again yesterday (2 or 3 days later), and one of the girls told me that someone would call me back that night to schedule and if no one else did then she would. I got no response so I called again this evening. The owner answered the phone and I very calmly and nicely explained our situation (not even sounding upset, because I wasn’t at this point) and got a very rude response about how they are very busy and if I was frustrated then I should go somewhere else and then was hung up on. I called back and a girl answered the phone, who was decently nice and trying to help me (however never apologized) and then I heard the owner in the back of the call telling her to say that they were fully bucked and that they would not give their service to me. I finally said that it was fine and we would not come in, but asked for the name of the owner who I had spoken to. She then handed the phone to the other owner who told me his name was Chad… I am not sure whether or not that is true, but absolutely would never recommend this place to anyone.

Chad makes you feel welcomed and does great job and is good at what he does! We called expecting for them to be booked out and he was able to get us in that same day! Will definitely be coming thanks Diablo!

I had called about changing my piercing out because it had a gap and I would like to get a different hoop. I go in and I ask her if there are any different colors and there weren’t so I was going to leave and she insisted she could help me. She then tried to pierce my nose even though I wanted a jewelry change and then gave me a stud even though I asked for a hoop multiple times. The stud was not the same gauge as my hoop and was coming out of my nose on the other end. I had to go to Claire’s and buy a hoop to keep my nose piercing. I don’t know what was going on with her but I called and left a voicemail about getting my money back but it was the strangest and most frustrating experience I’ve ever had.

I wanted a simple custom piece done, and had a basic idea when I came into the shop today. I met Chad, and he took my idea to the next level and it came out amazing!His first sketch was right on the money, and his coloring suggestions were perfect.

Me and my friend both got tattoos here and had such a wonderful experience. Chad and Nate were wonderful and gave us exactly what we wanted. Couldn’t recommend enough.

My boyfriend came in a few months ago and got a custom Betty boop I put it on my Facebook page and I am still getting comments on how beautiful she is spyder tattoos does awesome work!

The lady with the pink hair has the worst attitude/service. I’d recommend trying someone else as she obviously can’t work with people. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with an attitude.

Was on vacation in Glenwood , and me and three friends decides to get a tattoo to help us remember our trip . The tattoo was POORLY done . This would be my second tattoo but first “professional “ one , and I had a terrible experience . Now all I have to remember is some dotted lines on my skin .

Horrible customer service first off minimum purchase 100$ I went in this place Noah is his name he should be fired I had a gift card for a tattoo the guy had been payed for the job already and he makes excuses to not do it even though when they give out gift cards per artist they are pre payed they are obviously money hungry dont recommend NOAH dont go to him ever unless you want to be jipped.
