Magoos tattoos and body piercing

Id gotten my nostril pierced here and it went great, healing all good and stuff. But just yesterday, i got my septum pierced and it hurt like HELL. Didnt use clamps- just used a Q-Tip that the needle would go through. He was very nice and all, no disrespect at all, but I feel like the piercing is WAY too low. Plus, he didnt even feel for the sweet spot? And I felt like I was going to pass out, usually my pain tolerance is pretty high regarding things like these. Again, no disrespect, my mom and dad have been coming here for years, most of their tattoos they got here. Just saying.

I went to go get my daith pierced. he started off by not even cleaning my ear. i had to remind him to. then after, he pierced it in the wrong spot. so he had to take out the jewelry and repierce it correctly. very unprofessional.

I got my collar bone pierced and first off he did not know what kind of piercing it was and forced me to look it up. Let it be noted he suppose to be the expert. Secondly he kept berating me by saying this is going to cost a lot of money and accusing me of not having the money. This went on and on until I finally pulled out a wad of 100s to shut me up. (I’m server and hadn’t gone to the bank yet.) Thirdly, I got four piercing. Two on each side right under my collar bone. This man proceeded not to measure the distance between the two and one side had a shorter distance between each other than the other side. This was unacceptable to me so I had him redone it. Not only did I have to go the the excruciating pain of another piercing but it got stuck has he dug it out. Leaving behind a big hole. Lastly, he did not walk me through the process at all. He said nothing expect sighs here and there. I was nervous since I never had a dermal piercing and he made the process miserable. He didn’t even tell me was he started he just automatically began digging into my skin without warning. I don’t know about you, but I enjoy a warning. This was the worst tattoo and body piercing shop I’ve been to and I’ve been to many tattoo shops across the Midwest. I’ve had what I consider bad artists but this tops the cake. Please for your own sake find a different shop!!Edit: they all got infected and fell out since they were not placed right. I cleaned them everyday, twice a day (I did miss a couple of days, however). Please please go to a certified piercer! Don’t make my mistake….

My friend and I went to get piercings. My friend decided on a belly button piercing. He didn’t make a mark or even hand her a mirror to look at placement he just stuck the needle right in her. As he was piercing he stopped half way through with what looked like a bigger needle than normal and let her bleed. While she was bleeding he dropped the clamp trying to clean the blood up. Very unprofessional and dirty. She had to pick a belly ring out of 3 bags that appeared to be dirty, he didn’t EVEN CLEAN THE PIERCING! After watching her struggle i just decided on my 3rd lobes because i was scared and i had to pick some studs from Target and Walmart as my earrings. Proceeded to let us leave with blood all over. NEVER coming back!

So i never really leave reviews for places but i felt like i had to for this place. Kevin tattooed me and was immediately so sweet. i got my first back tattoo from him so i didn’t really know what to expect and once he started immediately i almost passed out i got really hot and nauseous but in less than a minute he had put a cold rag on my neck and was getting me a glass of water without me asking. and kept reassuring me the whole time that “it happens so often don’t sorry at all” i didn’t feel judged at all. and the work he did…. AMAZING. he did it so quick and perfect. it was everything i could have asked for. again i never leave reviews really but his bedside manner was amazing and his skill set is amazing as well. I went in for my very first tattoo. I’m in love with it. He did such a great job! He was super friendly. I would highly recommend going there! He made me feel right at home. :)

Great place! Prices are reasonable--not cheap! But I feel as though I don’t overpay. Gotten all my piercings done by Magoo and all my tattoos done by Kevin, and man is he talented. He puts his own artistic twist on pieces to make them original which is appreciated. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and still is my recommended place for family and friends.

I just got a Tattoo done at Magoos today (not my first time visiting), and I really do love it. It’s exactly what I had envisioned. He was quick to get all set up and get going, the tattoo itself didnt take long either. And he made sure I got exactly what I wanted! Its really Beautifully done! This is now my third tattoo done at Magoos and each time was a good experience, I don’t have anything bad to say. I tell everyone I know about Magoos, I definitely recommend going to Magoos for Tattoos and/or piercings! They do great work and the pricing is also excellent. You really cant get a better deal anywhere else!!

The place is super cool. Definitely not for everyone but magoo is very friendly and does amazing work!

Got my belly button done here on November 20th 2021. I have had 6 piercings done in other locations so I got experience getting them. It is kinda in the middle of nowhere but that’s not an issue. The staff was super nice, and offered me lots of water. It only cost $35 since I brought cash, and when I tried to tip I got a free can of pierce cleaner. However, the piercer had a dog in his pocket when he did my piercing, and let me dig my hand in a bag to pick out the jewelry. Definitely felt unsanitary all around. Pros is he wore a fresh pare of gloves and had a sterile needle. Took like 39 seconds to a minute to get the jewelry in and almost had to restart. Definitely have had better experiences. But a $35 piercing is a $35 piercing 😂😂😂 go at your own risk, but the staff will be kind to you if you are kind to them. Bring cash so you don’t get charged extra paying by card.

Just called to see if there was an opening. The guy who answered was very hard to understand, was muffled, was delayed in responses, and even HUNG UP ON ME. Based on just the initial phone call, I will not even be taking my business here. I have never felt more disrespected by a business before. Don’t spend your money to be disrespected.

I got my smiley pierced and it was quick, easy and great price! Looks perfect, and no other place would do a smiley so it worked perfectly. Highly recommend!

Went in for a tattoo about a month ago and he did a phenomenal job he does his free hand no stencil loved his style than I went in for a touch-up he is great

I definitely wouldnt go here for more unconventional piercings. I got my bridge done here and its uneven, too shallow, and just over all wasnt pierced great. The space was super cluttered as well.

They did my wifes first tattoo and gave her snake bites. The tattoo colors are spot on but the tattoo is scabbing up like ive never seen before. They said not to put anything on it while it heals and keep it oit of water. The lip piercings are done well in the sence there symetrical but are digging into her lip. Its probly swelling will update when i know for shure. He gave her sea salt to rince her mouth out to help with cleaning it and sugested dabbing the outside of the lip with rubbing alcohol.

I love going here its a friendly environment. Customer service was great as well. And Im very happy with my tattoo.

Not worth the money or time. Hands down the worst tattoo Ive ever gotten. I as a customer expect to have done what I ask without an artist trying to change it. Such a simple tattoo, awful lining, ink and writing.

So I went to Magoos to get my lip pierced. Its on a random farm thats cluttered and gross. His shop was really unsanitary. He didnt use the right needle to pierce my lip. He didnt tell me he was gonna pierce it or anything. Just surprised me with the needle. Dropped the ball and needle down my shirt. & he also dropped his glove on the floor then used it to pierce my lip. He wore his boots for working on his farm into his piercing/tattoo area and they were extremely dirty. He didnt even use piercing rings in my lip. & my two lip piercings arent even remotely even. Not impressed...

Kevin is so talented and a lot of fun to chat with while hes doing your tattoo. Definitely worth the drive from West Fargo

I got a tat and it wasnt fully done he charged me extra to detail it ,,lines were wobbly and crooked and half of the tattoo is not done still ,,,cold place cluttered ,,not the best but he will get you in fast ,,I got to buy a tattoo gun and finish myself cause he is out for Christmas now and Im moving ,,,sucks
