My college aged daughter got her first tattoo at the shop. Peter was friendly, professional, and did an amazing job helping design the tattoo and making the design turn into gorgeous body art. The shop itself was flawlessly clean and sterile. If anyone needs the best tattoo in the business THIS is the place to go. We drove 2 hours and it was worth every penny. Thank You Peter

Jesse did a excellent job. I told him I wanted unique and he literally took my words and put it on my arm. It was all around a great experience. I am for sure going back and I am a customer for life. Just got done with the second session to finish it. Jesse is an amazing artist. He takes the time and listened to what I wanted. Jesse did a great job of making my vision complete. I had a brand new tatoo that meant a lot that he was able to envision and execute. He also did rework on an eleven year old tatoo that was botched from the beginning. I couldnt be happier with both. Very clean and sterile environment.

Did a good first session of my tattoo about 2-3 months ago, i was supposed to go finish it 3 weeks after but he was in the hospital and did not let me know until i was already there and texted him. was supposed to have my session for the 2nd appointment today as well, but canceled again. unprofessional if someones going to pay you finish the damn tattoo. taking my services else where, also played a very weird movie

Jesse did an amazing job with this. You can tell this guy truly respects the art and the job. Place was very clean and professional. Kept me hydrated the whole time and made sure i was comfortable. I was nervous at first, however, slowly but surely the piece came to life and i absolutely love it. I was recommended Jesse by a friend of mine and Ill recommend him to everyone else, great artist! I will definitely be back again! Oh and we got to watch Star Wars the whole time i got my Star Wars ink. Perfect!

I love that he is also honest if something will not work out, but also gives other ideas that would work. I went to Jesse for my first tattoo after my brother and sister both recommended him. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience, the shop was very clean and Jesse was very professional. Jesse has done all 5 of my tattoos and can’t get myself to trust another artist as much as I do him. He displays a gentle personality and makes sure the tattoo sketch is exactly how we want it and exactly where we want it placed. I’ve had my tattoos readjusted many times on my body before actually getting it inked because I’m very picky. Jesse has been working on me, my older brother, as well as my younger sister! WE LOVE HIM!!

If you want some awesome tattoo work done that will totally unique even with a common picture you need to see Jesse Zeise over at Darkside Tattoo. I went in there for my first tattoo and it was a whole back piece that was a pretty cool looking picture, but when Jesse showed me the drawing he had after a week of two it was outrageous. Now I am one or two sessions from being done and the detail and designs he has added on top of his original drawing just blows my mind and I love it. Darkside Tattoos is the place to go no matter what kind of tattoo you are looking to get I have been to many different shops in the Green Bay area and Darkside Tattoos is by far the best and my favorite. Darkside Tattoos is very clean and sanitary I have watched Jesse clean and set up for the next appointment many times and he is very meticulous when cleaning. Jesse is also very meticulous when it comes to applying the stencil for the tattoo or when he is free handing something on you really you couldnt ask for a better tattoo artist. Jesse can do whatever you want from black and grey to bold bright colors that are not going to fade as long as you take care of your tattoo. Not only does Jesse do great tattoos but he is always sure to have some great music on or a movie for you to watch while you are getting tattooed.

I have gone to Jesse for six years and he has done 5 of my tattoos since. I will continue to keep going to dark side because of the amazing quality of work. I absolutely love the color he uses. Tattoos that I have gotten 5 years ago still have not faded and look like new! Jesse is very knowledgable about the art of tattooing! I go there with an idea of what I want and Jesse will make my idea so much better by sharing what he knows looks great. Also Darkside is very clean and sanitary...a very important thing to think about when looking for a place to get tattooed. Darkside Tattoos has done all of my work, and for good reason. The work done out of this shop is outstanding! Whether it be color or black and gray, Jesse, Jason and Matt do amazing work and are great people. Jesse and Jason are extremely creative and can create anything youd ever want, and then some. The shop is extremely clean and welcoming when you walk through the door. Their procedure is thoroughly sanitary, which is one of the most important things to consider when getting a tattoo. Like I said all of my work done thus far has been at Darkside, and I plan on having much more, if not all, my done here. Jesse is an amazing tattoo artist. I came in for my 18th birthday for my first tattoo and he made sure to make me as comfortable as possible. My wife Kathy actually had the tattoo. She had a coverup of a small unicorn made into a beautiful peacock on her calf. I had an appointment for 3 today, I wasn’t seen until 345.The artist was the only one in the shop. He was having a bad day, and I was empathetic and compassionate, but treated me terribly (swearing, degrading me, calling my design lame, and calling me a baby) and left the store while I was inside to go get cigarettes. He did a small four letter tattoo for 150$. It’s not quality and not centered. He refused to take a card. It truly bums me out, I was hoping for better as I’ve gotten tattoos here before. I have videos of me alone in the store helping a customer who came in. They took advantage of me and I will make sure to not recommend them. This is not a 150$ piece and this is a very unprofessional environment. Shame.

This place is grossly unprofessional, disorganized, and rude. I’ve never felt so awkward going to a place that offers SERVICES. The only customer they’re interested in is 1) the guy they can have inappropriate conversations with and watch foul movies or 2) the girl they can climb into bed with. The only artist they had that was professional left around Covid.I expect a response to be posted on here that goes something like this, “Post on the artist’s page, this is my page and not my problem, blah blah, I don’t know you, blah blah.”Well in response to that, it’s just proof of how unprofessional this place is - to undermine a customer’s experience. To the lady who posted less than a year ago with the 4 letter tattoo - your experience is not isolated - it’s the norm.If you don’t want bad posts/reviews then choose better people to represent your shop. Period.Also please be consistent when you’re trying to invalidate this review like you do. You can’t be a “crew” when it’s good and separate yourself when it’s something bad.Look below at the predictable response. It was definitely the shop and you definitely don’t always check ID.

Went in for a couple of tattoos. One for my girlfriend one for me at last minute. Had a blast and we both love our tattoos. We already are setting up the next appointment for more work to be done. Highly recommended. Great staff great ownership. They make you feel at home and comfortable.

I have been a Badger Hockey fan for almost 50 years, and have had an idea for a tattoo for some time. I gave Jesse the basic idea, and he did an amazing job of making that idea come to life. I now have this awesome Badger Hockey tattoo on my calf. A wave W backdrop, Bucky Badger on skates with a stick standing on ice in front, and Its a Great Day for Hockey! - Badger Bob Johnson underneath.PERFECT!!

I couldnt have asked for a better experience at Darkside Tattoo. Andy is a true artist, in more ways than one. He was diligent, kind, and gave me exactly what I asked for. My tattoo turned out even better than I imagined. Andy made sure everything was sanitary, explained the healing process and aftercare very well, and offered to be available to call at any time with questions. I love my tattoo from Andy and look forward to working with him again.

Paid $100 non-refundable deposit for art. Told it would be about 2-3 weeks. After 2 months Jesse only had a rough sketch for my 3/4 sleeve. Nothing close to the detail needed to communicate his design, not ready for a stencil or even a color plan. I asked him to keep working on it and he said hed have it in 2 weeks. At the end of 3 months of waiting for art for this large expensive tattoo I went somewhere else. That artist had a full color stencil ready of a full sleeve design in 2 weeks. Ill be happy to pay the other artist nearly double Jesses rate because their 2 weeks really means 2 weeks and not 3 months and they were able to clearly communicate the design.

Jesse was great to work with!! I was able to send photos ahead of time so my design was ready when I arrived. Very professional and not as painful as I thought it might be. Definitely would go back there for another one!

Jesse totally destroyed my first tattoo. It looks nothing like the picture i gave him to do it off of. He denies he messed it up and wont refund me. When i told him it is still not looking anything like the picture i brought in he rewrapped it and said that it would Look better in four days. LOL. Which i went and read on jesses included care instructions that you arent supposed to rewrap a tatoo.He does whatever he likes not what you like which were the exact words from another tattoo place that has had customers come to them from jesse wanting to get their tatooos fixed. He jerked me around and rescheduled both my appointments a couple times. Very unprofessional!!

If youre a star wars fan youll love this place. Jesse is laid back and super awesome and hes a great artist and its reasonably priced too. Ive had all of my work done here and plan on going back in the future. Lots of talent in this place.

I have a sleeve Jesse is working on and I only had a rough idea for him to go with. I told him I wanted skin tears with stone and vine underneath and roses. Hes bringing it to life as we go and for the girl who said she wanted a whole sleeve drawn up I realise how pointless that is because your ideas change as the tattoo unfolds. Is this place ever open? Stopped by at noon and their hours said they were open from 12 to 7. Waited a half hour for them to open after scheduling an appointment previously in the week and nobody answered my calls or anything. While I was waiting 2 more people stopped by and door was still locked.
