My daughter was excited to get her ears pierced but also a little nervous. Nurse Lindsay did a great job helping to ease my daughter’s nerves and making it a positive experience. I highly recommend getting your ear piercing at Rowan.

Decided to get a second lobe hole very randomly on a Sunday. Booked online. Showed up early and had a chance to learn my piercing options & look at earrings. Found what fit my needs and ten minutes later I was out the door. Quick, easy, fun and I’m super happy with the results.

I am so thankful that Maria and Kate were so patient with my very anxious girl! They talked her through everything and pierced both of her ears at the same time. Highly recommend!

I came in with my ten year old niece. Her mom, my niece and I got our ears pierced. It was an awesome experience. The place is really clean!!! What an amazing experience! From the moment we stepped in the door through the entire process, the staff was exceptional. Katherine did a jewelry exchange for me and it was so quick. She wanted me about any pain I might experience with her actions and was super kind and clean. She wore glove just to change jewelry. Lindsay pierced my conch and it was such a great experience! Super easy to book an appointment, the studio was just me and the employees so it was very relaxing. Lindsay was really knowledgeable about placement and very reassuring during the process. Will definitely be back again!

My 14 yr old and I got our 2nd piercings with Sydney. Both Sydney, RN, and the lady who greeted us (and who also helped explain the process and options) were fantastic. My daughter was a bit nervous beforehand, but the Sydney was amazing. She was professional and explained everything, including aftercare, clearly. This helped my daughter relax and feel more confident. The piercing itself was quick and almost painless. Its been about two weeks since we had the piercings done and they are healing beautifully. The other woman helped make the experience fun and memorable! We both loved their personalities! Thank you!!

Amazing experience! About 9 months ago we got our toddler’s ears pierced. Rowan nurses handled it so well and were so experienced to handle little ones. Then my daughter lost one or the earrings when she was swimming. We went back to Rowan to see if we could buy a replacement or even a new set if we had to. They told us that they would help us put them in but that we had to make an online appointment because there were consent forms and waivers I had to sign. It was a bunch and they needed driver’s license and everything. But when I was done they not only checked to make sure her holes were closed they put in a brand new pair for FREE! I couldn’t believe it! It was so incredibly nice and appreciated beyond words. The nurses there are fantastic with kids. I highly recommend. FYI- for those nervous about the piercing gun they have a special pressurized one that doesn’t stick like the ones at the retail stores. Rowan is top rate in terms of hygiene and safety. I definitely recommend piercings here.

I went to Rowan to get my first ear piercing hole redone because I had it done as a child and never liked the placement. Polly was great! She took her time and made sure the piercings were even on both of my ears and looked great. It was quick and painless. Highly recommend!

They were absolutely amazing! I got the needle pricing and it was so seamless. The jewelry to choose from is gorgeous. My daughter also got her second set pierced with the gun, and they were so great. She had a lot of anxiety, and they did a great job of making her feel comfortable.

Sydney was amazing. My daughter accidentally lost her earring over summer vacation and we thought that her whole had closed up. They kindly put an earring through it without any charge and gave her an additional earring to replace the one she lost. What wonderful customer service and excellent technique! I was nervous for my first real piercing besides my lobes. This place is pretty inside and welcoming, more on the expensive side but I do believe you get what you pay for. In this case with a helix (which can become infected easily and has extended healing time) I was willing to pay more for better care/higher quality jewelry. They do recommend a post downsize 30 days later, which is an extra charge but necessary for the best outcome. Total came to $172 for piercing, jewelry, and post downsizing. Nurses make it quick but are very informative, felt like I was in good hands! Definitely recommend especially for a first piercing

Getting a piercing at Rowan is such an easy and fun experience! I have gotten NINE (9!!) piercings from Rowan since this location opened last year, with Nurse Lindsay, Nurse Sydney, Nurse Kate, Nurse Daisy, Nurse Red, Nurse AudreyMay, and Nurse Maria all having helped me at some point to pierce or curate my dream ear! The nurses are so knowledgeable about the piercing process and aftercare. They are EXTREMELY clean, work with you to get a flattering placement for your ear, and also offer great support if you have any questions after your initial piercing! I trust this studio wholeheartedly and 5/5 would recommend to all my loved ones looking for an ear piercing!!

My daughter and I both got our ears pierced at Rowan and it was a great experience. The nurses are so nice. The only complaint is that the store is small and seems to be busy and quite packed a lot of the time.

This place is what you’d expect. A cutesy shop to get pierced at. They have a great selection of earrings, that are much more desirable than the choices you might see at a tattoo parlor. One negative: it’s pricey. Come prepared to pay for the piercing fee plus the $65+ earring(s). It was $300 for me to get two new holes plus the earrings I chose. Make sure someone is on site to pierce before you get there. Making an appointment is the best idea.

Amazing! Girls got their ears peirced by very experienced nurses Kathy and Sydney who provided the kindest care. The girls were nervious but quickly put at ease. The selection of earrings is beautiful and the ease of booking an appointment made it that much better of a choice.

I’ve been coming to Rowan in The District since September for all my piercings & jewelry. The staff is great & the earrings never irritate my sensitive skin. Each time I’ve gone it’s been with a group of family or friends & we always leave with a smile on our faces. Courtney kills it. She really sets the tone for her staff, store & patrons with infectious positive energy. Yesterday was my first time interacting with Lindsay & she’s also a doll; very knowledgeable & personable. I was so excited to take my daughters to get their ears pierced. My oldest daughter is 9 and my youngest is 5. Both were very excited but also very nervous as they don’t do well with needles in general. It was my birthday and I decided to get my ears pierced with them. My youngest daughter ended up only getting one ear pierced as she got very nervous after big sister got hers pierced. The staff was beyond accommodating given the situation. I brought her back 7 times after to attempt to get the second ear pierced. And every single time the staff went above and beyond. Offering her lollipops and trying all they could to make her not feel scared. Luckily after 6 months of attempts I took her back last week and she went through with the piercing without a hitch. The staff was so calm with her and were so supportive. The manager at this location is everything you would hope for. 8th time a charm for my little one. She loves her piercings and feels so confident. Thank you Rowan team for allowing my little girl to do it on her time.

Brought my 5 year old here to get her ears pierced. The entire process was so smooth and the piercers were phenomenal with her. They did it at the same time, which made it easier on her! All in all I paid $140 for the piercing and jewelry.I would also like to add that after two months, 1 of the stones fell out of her earrings. I contacted customer support, and they were so kind and so willing to help me with this. They sent me a replacement pair at no cost to me. I received above excellent Customer care which I so appreciated!

Great team, SUPER clean, awesome time! Nurse Catherine pierced my 4 year old daughter’s ears, she was so nice! She took her time making sure everything was easy for my daughter and that everything was very clean! Super cute earrings to pick from! I called ahead and there were two nurses on staff so my daughter was able to get both ears pierced at the same time. You could tell everyone who was there was experienced and cared.

I visited Rowan to get my third lobe hole pierced again. It had closed after six years of not wearing jewelry, and the holes were not equal distance due to my amatuer attempt at piercing when I was a teenager. Daisy was my nurse, and she was great to work with! She was gentle, calm, and informative; asking me throughout the process how I was doing, guiding my breathing, and using her attention to details, corrected the distance imbalance! Id definitely return for future piercings. Plus the jewelry options are so cute for huggies and studs!

Total robbery tbh. You can get 4 piercings elsewhere for the price of 1 piercing here. The piercer was really nice, but the service is way too much money to get a needle in your ear. The piercer also dropped the earring that I wanted and of course it was the last one :( so I was stuck with jewelry I wasn’t crazy about. Then, they say you need to come back a month later and pay to have them switch out the post, but that costs $25 and you can just do it yourself at home. I wouldn’t go back here due to the sheer cost…

I walked in and asked the lovely ladies to change my conch jewelry for me! I had the jewelry in for years and had never changed it. They were amazing and spent 45 minutes getting the jewelry out for me and changing it. Everyone was so so friendly, patient, and attentive. Went back for an actual piercing a couple of weeks later and had the same experience. Lindsay was my piercer and very detailed and welcoming. Overall a wonderful experience and I will be back again and again!

Tatiana was fabulous, quick and painless for a needle piercing. I was nervous because I had an earlobe tear repair on that ear but it came out perfect.

Rowan is great! They are very friendly and explained everything well! Polly is the best!

You would think you would get some kind of special care or knowledge since nurses are piercing your ears. They just triple charge you big time and are overrated. My daughter and I both got needle helix piercings. She followed the directions that they gave her to T and a few days after her ear was extremely swollen and the back of the earring was embedded in the ear. We go there to get help from the nurses and they dont know anything and just refer us to the urgent care. The urgent care cant take care of that type of issue. So after 3 hours at the urgent care waiting we go to the emergency room. Almost $400 and a whole day of going back and forth. I went in a couple weeks later to tell them and they didnt care whatsoever. Just tried to make it seem it was my daughters fault and making excuses. The worst experience ever. I definitely dont recommend.

Went to get my brothers ears pierced and everyone was so nice as soon as we walked through the door. Nurse Maria M was so kind and explained everything and walked through processes well! Will definitely be coming back and referring friends/family to come and get pierced here :)

The staff was so friendly and very professional. They cleaned everything before and between clients. I didn’t get any new piercings but they helped me change all of my piercings to new ones. They were so gentle and it wasn’t painful at all. I will definitely be coming back again whenever I want a new piercing or new earrings.

My toddler is so particular and does not allow anyone near her ears. From the second we entered the Rowan store, the entire staff were so friendly and welcoming. Maria H. was so informative and went through the different types of earrings and piercings. She was so patient as we were super indecisive about which style to choose. My daughter then proceeded to the chair where Sydney was going to take off her old earrings and put the new ones on. The old earring was stuck and we tried to take it off but couldn’t however Sydney was so gentle and took it off so smoothly. She asked my daughter’s permission every time she was going to have to touch her ears and their hygiene practices are top tier for sure. I would even say that our visit to Rowan store has been the best earring shopping experience ever. We appreciate the team there and especially Sydney and Maria H. And we would recommend it to everyone but especially to everyone who has a baby / toddler.

Booked an appointment online. Called to make sure. Walked in 10 mins prior to appointment time, both nurses were very welcoming! Nurse Sydney and the other nurse(i didnt get her name) were very patient and kind but most importantly child friendly! My 15 months baby did so good, cried for about 10-15 seconds and we were out so quick! I requested for them to pierce both ears at the same time which they did and made the process very efficient for my us and our baby!

I had the best piercing experience at Rowan! Everyone was extremely kind, sweet, and super helpful. Made an appointment here to get my niece’s ears pierced for her birthday. She wanted her second lobe piercing done with a needle (hence the reason we chose Rowan). When we arrived for her appointment, we were told that there wasn’t a needle piercer there. Shouldn’t there always be someone certified to do both device piercings and needle piercings? I would understand if I was notified ahead of time but this is ridiculous. My niece was extremely upset as she’d been looking forward to this for months. This place is nothing but unprofessional. The girl at the front didn’t even try to reschedule our appointment. Avoid this place.

Great experience today! As soon as I entered I felt so comfortable, all of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I loved that I could see all of my options of piercing jewelry and I could hold them up to my ear to see what it would look like. I appreciated that my piercer knew ear shape and what would work for my ear and what wouldn’t. If you’re thinking of getting an ear piercing, definitely check them out!
