21 Aces Tattoo Co.

I went to 21 Aces on a whim and I couldn’t be happier. James was great, he gave me a great piece of art. He far surpassed my expectations. He was courteous and respectful and I enjoyed my experience there very much. I have quite a few tattoos and this is my second favorite tattoo. Every artist in the shop was polite and helpful, I would recommend them to anyone.

First time here. Arrived a bit after 8. They close at 9. I called ahead to be sure there was a piercer on staff. The young lady over the phone was very pleasant and helpful. We arrived, the young lady I spoke with greeted us. Still very pleasant. She showed us the jewelry and stated Jason would be doing our piercings. Met Jason... Well it was a bunch of notches down from the young lady. Very impersonal. Tried to start a conversation, just given a slight yeah or grunt. The piercing went very well, nonetheless. He explained aftercare and accepted payment. Crickets... I wanted to get priced for the completion of my thigh piece but I wont be returning here. Very cold atmosphere. Not sure if it was because it was late or whatever. Our money was still American green and had more to give... Just not a happy place.Again, the piercing went well without any to little pain. Pleased with it. Good luck.

Dallian is seriously the best tattoo artist, and a super sweet guy! Not only is he an incredible artist but he is phenomenally patient and willing to work with anyone on how they want their design. My friend came from out of state and at the last minute he got us in so we could get out tattoos when her flight was delayed due to weather. Our experience was simply perfect. If you want an incredible experience go see Dallian at 21 Aces! And BTW, James Bean is pretty damn cool too!🤪

I cant speak highly enough about Dallian! Hes been tattooing me now for close to a year and we still have several more ideas in the works. His technique and original artwork are phenomenal, hes very intuitive, and there isnt an art style that I havent seen him tattoo well. Hes been working with me on a sleeve, and has given great feedback on placement and flow. Additionally, scar tissue can be tricky to tattoo over. But Dallian did such an amazing job covering my two keloid scars that Ive been hiding for years. The confidence that I have now, showing off his beautiful work that covers the scars, is something that no amount of money can buy. I cant wait for the next addition to my sleeve! Thanks, Dallian!

It was really clean in there and I wanted knowing one of the tattoo artists since she was a little kid prices for highlights $120 for this she was a lot. It was a little bit cheaper I will be getting more tattoos but if I ever have any extra money Ill definitely come back

**Edited to Add**Unfortunately after a few days of healing, I think I’m seeing hazy/blown out lines. I’m not an expert, so I’m not 100% sure but I’ve emailed the shop a few times for some feedback and haven’t received a response. I’m very disappointed and if this doesn’t remedy itself I’m left with no choice but to go somewhere locally and get it covered because as it sits now, it’s horrible.Cannot recommend enough! Came to town for a work trip and visited 21 Aces. James did my ghosty (mine has daisies and Dallian did the sunflower ghosty on my friend) and again, cannot recommend enough! Clean, professional, and such a spectacular job!! I wish I didn’t live 5 hours away because I’d be here so much more often!

I had a great experience getting my first tattoo at 21 Aces Tattoo! The process was so clear cut and easy. We were quoted online and set our appointment for a couple of days later. They responded quickly to our inquiry which really impressed me. Jared was the young man who did mine and my daughters matching tattoos. He was professional and kind and did a great job putting my vision into reality. He drew up the tattoo and picked the colors with me beside of him. What a nice touch!He took his time making sure the tattoos were just right and I love being able to look at my arm as a reminder of my dad, who just passed away. Im so thankful to Jared and 21 Aces for all they did to make this experience great. I will definitely be referring more people!

Jason was awesome! He designed me a Dolphin tattoo that is just amazing, like he drew it straight from my brain. It was so cool 😎 and it was a cover up, he did terrific!

I came into town for a short visit and wanted to get a tattoo with my father. I called and spoke with Hillary. We set an appointment for the next day after talking about what I wanted. She did an amazing job and through the whole process she was so fun to be around and great to converse with! Her work is amazing and highly recommend her and the entire shop!

I went to 21Aces to get my nose pierced. I was greeted by Jason as soon as I walked through the door. He knew I was nervous and he took his time to explain their entire process to me. The piercing went smoothly and I felt absolutely no pain. My eyes didn’t even water. The entire process took less than five minutes and I was more than happy with the results.

Jason is by far one of the best artists Ive had the pleasure to work with. The pic speaks for itself. I highly recommend Jason. You will not be disappointed

My buddy and I got 2 small pieces done. Reasonable prices for the work. Jeff was a cool guy to work with, James was a really good artist and made our experience virtually painless. Easy going, liked to chat through the session, extremely professional really cared about how his work looked.

Facility was very clean, the people were wonderful and nice. I got my nipples pierced and they were very encouraging and the guy who pierced my nipples was amazing and walked me through everything he was doing. I will be going to them for all of my piercing/tattoo needs. Highly recommend these guys.

I needed a coverup tattoo done and I took in a picture of something similar that I wanted. Jason took it and made it a beautiful piece of artwork! Like he took what I wanted straight from my brain. He is awesome!!

Was out on vacation and wanted to grt my tattoo. The facility was very clean, told the artist what I wanted and showed him what I wanted, he brought out 2 different sizes, which was awesome. Got his table set up, the conversation was nice. The tattoo is healing once its healed Ill post. Would return.

My husband and I have wanted to get matching tattoos. We were walk-ins and they were able to do our tattoos that same day. The process was very easy, the guys working there made us feel welcome and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this tattoo parlor to anyone who is interested in getting a tattoo for the first time or another one.

I have always had a phenomenal experience at 21 aces tattoo. The shop is extremely clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. Jason and Hilary make a great team and compliment each other very well in terms of artistic design. I have had 5 tattoos from Jason and have always received compliments from people on his work. They are quiet professionals and are genuinely great people. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I have had several pieces done by Jason and have been extremely happy with all of them. He does quality work and very professional. He also helped me out with a piercing that needed some attention. Ive never had work done by Hilary, but Ive seen a lot of her work and its great. Both are talented artists. Prices are very reasonable. Cant wait to plan my next tattoo/piercing.

Jason did a great job he did a second lobe on both sides and 2 additional piercings. He was quick and very nice and communicated very well. It was very well priced and a great experience!

I have two tattoos from Hillary now and my friends have a few from Jason as well! They always take awesome care of us when were in and pay attention to every detail to make sure they get it right! I love how clean the shop is and their location is gorgeous. I always feel comfortable going in! I especially like that they are very relaxed and a bit introverted so you never feel pressured or rushed. Jason is exceptionally good at solid black work (which can be surprisingly hard to find) and seems to never miss a spot, and Hillary is so awesomely creative with any idea I throw at her! (Plus its super fun to watch her work and fuss at tattoos to make sure they are beautiful works of art!) Their prices are also fantastic and I never feel like Im getting overcharged.

Jason did a fantastic job on my cowboy pepper riding a bicycle! This is my first tattoo and he made me feel very comfortable and chill. Great conversation and we ended up having quite a bit in common. If youre considering 21 Aces...just book the appointment...youll love it. Thanks Jason

Hilary & Jason have tattooed me over 20 times! Their color work, black and white, line work, really every piece of artwork we have explored together has turned out awesome. They are always professional, and everything is exceptionally clean. Theyre friendly, inviting, and easy to discuss any idea with!!

Artists are so very talented and I cannot say enough good things about this fantastic parlor! I now have 4 tattoos and believe I could be addicted to Hilarys work. Have recommended 21 Aces to several people. Jason and Hilary have made many of my friends very, very happy. Also, this is the cleanest parlor you will EVER visit.

Services received: nose piercing by Jason, small (1.5 square) tattoo by JasonI really wanted to get a lot of work done here because the quality of work is very good, and I have 100% confidence in the sanitation practices here. I truly love the custom tattoo that I received. It healed well, smooth linework, lots of compliments on it.However, I think Hilary and Jason are still developing in terms of customer service and good business routines for scheduling and so forth.For instance, the tattoo that I received from Jason was supposed to be done by Hilary, but she had to cancel with about as short notice as it gets - I was actually standing in the shop having arrived for my appointment. Jason filled in for her, but since she did not have the design finished yet either, he started from scratch and created something in his own style and listened to all of my concerns and suggestions as far as the design went. He is not very personable, as other reviewers have said, but I wasnt offended by his being quiet. I realized when I got home that he did not give me any aftercare instructions for the tattoo, even though it was my first tattoo ever, but I also hadnt asked for any. Some weeks later, I did try to give Hilary a second try, but she flaked out a couple more times in drawing up a design in a timely way, and I just told her that I would find somewhere else that might have more time to do it.I got the impression that this shop knows how to do the work well, that Hilary is friendlier than Jason, that Jason has more general tattoo experience than Hilary, and that both of them are better tattoo artists than they are professional business owners.I am hopeful that this shop can and will learn over time how to manage the logistics in a more professional way, and when I see from other reviews that they are, I will be glad to return to get some more work done there.

My daughter and I went to 21 Aces for her 18th birthday to get our first tattoos together. Jason did an outstanding job on both of our tattoos. He made sure we got exactly what and where we wanted our tattoos. He was very professional and patient with us. Will definitely be going back to him.

Jason, the piercer is amazing! I had a couple mouth piercings I had to take out a month or so ago and he was able to repierced with NO PAIN. This guy is amazing! Im from MO and dont go anywhere but my guy. Im glad I had some time with this guy! Hes awesome! Hands down...GO SEE HIM IF YOURE CLOSE TO HIGH POINT!

Jason just gave me a Daith Piercing and Im very pleased with the entire experience. New shop on Chester Ridge Dr is clean, cool and comfortable. Jason and Hilary totally sweet to me....l will definitely be getting a tattoo soon. Cant wait! ❤️

Hilary is a true artist. Provided her with basic ideas and she ran with it! A small delay due to COVID but it was a totally fantastic experience. The studio is super clean and professional. I will continue to recommend 21 Aces to all who ask.

Got my nose repierced and a lip piercing here last week. Its been a couple days and both are healing up amazingly. A small pinch when I got them pierced and I barely notice theyre there now. Will def be getting more piercings here!

This is where I got my first tattoo! Hillary did an amazing job. I will say, they charge a minimum of 50 dollars like most tattoo shops. Dont let the location scare you away! They are very nice people who really care about their clients.

If your looking to get your earlobes pierced or flat piercing or any sort. Go here, the piercer is so good at piercing. he does it quick and makes sure you like the place they mark on your ear before piercing it. Love it honestly and i highly recommend if you live in high point and don’t wanna drive far.

We just left 5 points tattoo with one of the worst feelings regarding lack of customer service.Jason is one of the rudest people ive met in many many years, a real jerk.Not only was he rude to us but rude to another customer in our presence. What a piece of work this guy is......he even deleted our Facebook review of his actions.I would never go to him again as he only agrees to do tattoos that he feels he has time to do, yet we had paid for our tattoo over 4 weeks ago & were back to get color completed. They told us to come in today them after we arrived they didnt feel like theyd have time today........ 30 miles a 1 hour later Im writing this review on a very racist individual that deserves no future business from non-whites...........💣

Went in last week spoke to Jason.. he agreed to draw a picture of tattoo I was wanting to do. Said he would have done in a couple days. Called this week to check on progress.. was very rude.. I asked for some type of time line.. was told to get somebody else to do tattoo..

This place is good as it gets. Jason has done 3 of my tattoos and 2 piercings. Very clean shop. Very personable from both of them. No other place Id rather go.

Great tattoo experience. Excellent service... very sanitary environment ... and my tattoo was actually better than I had originally expected. I highly recommend 21 Aces to anyone whos lookimg for an excellent overall tattoo experience.

After driving 20 minuets to get there (because they said they were doing walk ins till 12) Jason says yeah I can do that. He draws for 5 minuets then tells me he cant do it now. He seemed off and ruined the vibe of the shop.

Crazy unprofessional. I tried getting a tattoo here but they rescheduled it 2 twice within 24 hours of the appointment. They didnt even ask for a deposit which makes me think this happens a lot. When I was there the owner was yelling at his girlfriend it was hard to watch. The owner was really anything but friendly he should not be the person at the front of the store.
