I’m iffy on this place honestly. Rob pierced my nipples, but messed up one of them. When I went back to show him he was very quick to offer it being redone so I appreciate that, but he didn’t apologize once about messing them up. I felt very uncomfortable and the vibe was just way off, wouldn’t recommend going to him as a female trying to get your nipples pierced.

I loved rob he did such an amazing job with my piercings. He was super nice and made the environment feel welcoming. I highly recommend him for piercings!

I have had my nose pierced and received a tattoo on my neck. Rob is AMAZING! I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants a great artist, kind artist and an artist who will give his all!!Update: I have now had 3 further works done. He is kind, patient and willing to repair when needed. While I was there on July 10, 2024 I saw him kindly help 2 customers that were having issues with piercings. Completely kind and didnt see him charge for his help. THIS IS A PERSON YOU NEED TO SEE FOR TATTOO AND/OR PIERCINGS!

Recently had a Creole flag put on my forearm to honor & represent the cultural heritage of my family. Its already one of my favorite tattoos & it hasnt even been touched up yet.Just yesterday, he did my wifes first tattoo and it was a great experience for her.Oh, and his prices are very reasonable, he doesnt try to get over on customers the way so many shops like to do.I cant recommend Shooting Star highly enough!

Been coming to this shop for the past 3 years, he has done all of my piercings and has always done an awesome, amazing, excellent job!!, but recently I went to this other piercing shop since I wanted cheek piercings and unfortunately you were out for vacation): & I really wanted to get them done and omg worst experience ever! I really should have waited for you to come back from vacation, it was the most horrible outrageous experience ever I was bleeding like crazy, non stop blood was rushing out like CRAZY I had got blood everywhere, clothes, chair, floor, trashcan it was just rushing out of my mouth and cheek. The guy had put a super short tight bar, it was literally buried into my skin from the start and I had also told him to please put in long bars, I honestly was too kind and just let it slide but then I had to get it token out like 20 minutes later since the pain was super unbearable. Would not let anyone els put a needle through my face unless it’s the guy from this shop!!!!(: thank you for doing an amazing job and being professional!!! The shop is also super clean and has nice decorations. Sorry for venting about it on here but I just want people to know that you do an excellent job!!

The vibe was dope. He was flexible with the art work and didn’t mind making any changes. Art work was official. Would recommend to anyone in this area

I have went to Rob twice. He is wonderful.He has done 2 tattoos. And. Periced my nose. I will be going back soon to get more added to my latest tattoo. Cardinals in remberance of my momma and daddy. I recommend him. Go out and see Rob if you are in need for ink therapy.

This place is awesome! I got my back demands dermal pierced. However, a couple of months later they rejected(my fault).. Im going back soon now that the piercer said I could after they heal

I was super nervous about getting the industrial piercing. I googled around and read reviews and ended up calling Shooting Star. I didn’t know it at the time, but Rob was the one that answered the phone and gave me all the encouragement and answers I needed to show up. An hour and a half later I met him in person and he was even nicer and more re-assuring. The shop was clean, smelled GOOD, and he was gentle, kind, and professional. The piercing was as little painful as I could have imagined it being and took very little time.I would highly recommend Rob for any of your piercing desires!

Gotten two my tattoos done by Rob he done a amazing job on both of them one of them was a cover up and I’m most definitely going to add on to it to finish it off I highly recommend to check Shooting Stars out

Rob is the sweetest person i’ve ever met. he has done all 5 of my piercings and each one is pierced perfectly. they all healed correctly. However he is a little heavy handed. it doesn’t bother me because i have a high pain tolerance but yeah if you want some quality piercings go to Rob.

A great experience even if there was a little pain. Rob did an outstanding butterfly tattoo for this 80 year old lady. He is very pleasant and talented.

Came here on my birthday, rob was there and was very kind! he got me in and out in almost less than 5 min! for my first time getting a piercing he made me feel comfortable and at ease and i would definitely come back.

This is the best shop in High Point. They have great prices do great work and are clean.. I got a tattoo and a tongue piercing from here myself. I got light headed when I pierced my tongue and the guy was understanding and offered some water. If you go, ask for Rob. Hes really cool.

My septum was pierced crooked. I’m now relocated in Washington and extremely disappointed to see it crooked since it’s fully healed. This is the third time it’s been done and he barely even checked to see if it was straight. Glad I don’t live there anymore. He was really careless with the entire process.

Ive gotten 3 piercings here, regular nostril, septum and labret. overall rob is really professional and his studio is really clean and he gets you in and out, its great. prices are really good too.

I love Rob!!!!Hes awesome.Listens and is so helpful....Hes done 10 out of my 14 tattoos I go 2 him cause i enjoy his Company and professionalism.

I went to get my septum pierced by the owner a week later after consulting other piercing professionals , they confirmed it wasnt no where in the correct spot and was through cartilage and not the soft spot in my nose it was supposed to go through, i asked for them to redo it , they did thankfully. but when i went back he still didnt really know what i was talking about, i had to show him, when no way am i a professional, and he is the owner he should know!! i was glad that he redid it, but very disappointed that he was uninformed about where piercings should go.

Best Piercing place I’ve been too. Rob does an amazing job. I had my nose pierced twice by him and I didn’t even feel it. I will be coming here for all future piercings.

Rob was great and the tattoo he gave me is awsome. Rob treats you. Like. Family his palor is so clean that you dont have to worry about getting any infections at all. Thank you Rob for a wonderful experience.

Rob was chill and cool . He was straight to the point and did an awesome job !! My tat is better than what I thought it would look like . Very light handed and he even put up with me when I start to scrim! Def will be going back

I went in to get my nose pierced 11/7/2020 & it was literally the best piercing experience of my life. I think I told him I loved him afterwards lol. I was freaking out and he remained so calm and steady. Definitely will be going here for more.

I’ve gotten my left nostril & my septum pierced here and the prices are so cheap and so nice . the piercings are so clean and perfect, i personally have a deviated septum and the guy who pierced me did such a good job !!! i definitely recommend coming here :)

Really upset about the work I got from here. Not even week old. I wanted a tattoo I was proud of but instead I got one im trying to hide. Shop was clean and does all my daughters Piercings. Maybe he was just having off day. He really put a nose on Jason. lol

Prices are great. Went and got my nose pierced and the guy that did it was very heavy handed. Love the piercing hating the throbbing at the moment. If you go here make sure to ask for the countdown because telling him just go ahead and do it....I wasn’t ready 😩

Had my nose pierced here several years ago. The entire experience was perfect. My daughter wants to get her cartilage pierced. I will be bringing her here. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality piercing!!

I will always come back to this place. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly! I needed to get a earring pushed into a shrunken hole and Rob did it with no problem and didn’t charge me $50+ for it. I would definitely recommend this place.

Had my monroe done here, and my first tattoo and Rob was great. He made them both fantastic experiences, and I really dont see myself going anywhere else while Im in the area.

Don’t go here for piercings. I got a nose piercing done here several months ago and was not given any advice on how to clean it or that I had to clean it with sterile salt solution (I was told tap water was fine which it’s not). It got infected a couple days after I left even though I soaked it in salt solution and did as I had been told. I had to take it out & get it redone at a different place. Do not recommend for piercings but I do not know about their tattoos.

Guys i have seven tattoos this far. Rob did my lasy two and done an amazing jod with details and lines. Rob will be the only artist to put ink on my canvas ever. Best by far thanks for the work and always awesome pricing

I got my tounge pierce her and it was horrible! It was so crooked left to right and the bottom ball was at my front teeth and the top towards my throat. I went to bloo tattoo shop and they said it was so crooked they took it out a redone it for free BC they hated to see it like that!

I got my nose pierced and the guy who did it was super nice, and made sure I liked where he put the hole, for the ring. Definitely would come back again.

The guy there now is way heavy-handed. Im going to have so much scar tissue on my arm from his tattoo its ridiculous. He was tattooing me with the shade needle even after the ink was gone. My tattoo was basically hamburger meat by the time it was done. Would have given zero stars if that were an option.
