We went there a few days after we had a death on the family to get a memoriam tattoo.I do not recommend getting tatted by DUNY (ig @Dunytattoo). He had no compassion nor sympathy for the loss that we are all going thru. He had no patience for the youngest of us, who had just lost his father and was trying to get a tattoo in his memory. He was getting extremely annoyed that he kept adjusting something else for the tattoo. This wasnt a tattoo that was planned... we were hoping to get some guidance and examples of what can be done. All we got was attitude.I was trying to make sure that the person that was getting her first tattoo was done correctly since it was in the memory of her brother and when I was making sure that he understood exactly what she wanted he told me are you going to let me do my job. That was unnecessary. I understand that there was a language barrier, but he only saw us as money signs and not as human beings with emotions.He didnt put on the second skin until we asked for it. When he did put it on, he didnt put it on correctly. It started to peel off, and there were air bubbles in it.I contacted Nikki (front desk) on Instagram about this unfortunate situation, and I was told that we would be contacted soon by Wendii, the owner.Its been over 2 weeks now, and I still havent heard from anyone there.John Alex does great work and is very professional. He made sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted and took his time to make sure it came out right. We had other family members go back to John to get a memoriam tattoo for our loved one passing, and he took care of them with compassion and professionalism.If you decide to go here, make sure you know exactly what you want because Duny will not be sitting with you to talk to you and go over ideas.John Alex will work with you and take care of you correctly.

I’ve been in on multiple occasions, for both piercings and tattoos. I’ve brought both my daughters in as well, everyone is always super kind and knowledgeable, we love it here! Just had a stomach tattoo done by Wendii! She was professional, kind and listened to everything I wanted done! Let me tell you she did not disappoint on my tattoo.I have scars on my stomach I wanted coved with cherry blossoms and Wendii added some butterflies. It came out amazingly perfect! I will be going back to Wendi for more tattoos! You want a female artist that does amazing feminine tattoos then Wendii is your girl!

Sooo I just had the best experience getting my very first septum piercing thanks to Jessica! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in good hands with Diana. They took such great care of me y’all, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Their kindness and professionalism were truly remarkable, and I left feeling like I had known them for years. In addition to their excellent care, they were also very informative, explaining everything I needed to know about the caring for the piercing. It’s rare to find such genuine and caring individuals in Miami nowadays, but Diana and Jessica are truly one of a kind. In early March, I went for a simple nose piercing. Although the piercer seemed irritated, I let it slide and even tipped her, which slightly improved her attitude. I followed her care instructions meticulously, but the ring was too long for my nasal cavity, causing irritation bumps.The real issue occurred on June 23rd when the piercing got lodged inside my nose, causing extreme pain. When I called the shop, the front desk girl told me to come in before the issue got worse. As soon as I got there she immediately denied that they pierced my nose, claiming they don’t use corkscrew rings. I insisted they check their records because I had to fill out paperwork the 1st time I was there.She proceeded to take me to the back and the piercer that happened to be there that night spoke absolutely no English, I wasnt upset about that but it didnt make it a little frustrating to communicate the level of pain that I was in so the front desk woman had to be our constant translator. He had to cut the ring out while I was in severe pain. None of the replacement rings he presented were in sterile packaging, nor did he clean them. Despite my objections, he attempted to use a straight ring and could not get it through it honestly looked like something you would use to pierce someones ear and then switched to a corkscrew ring—exactly what the front desk claimed they never use. My friend noticed that the ring wasn’t sterilized.I ended up with a large, unattractive diamond ring instead of the cute subtle one I wanted. To make matters worse, I now have a keloid. Despite this horrible experience, I was still charged, and my previous information was saved in their system, contradicting the front desk’s initial claim that I wasn’t a customer.This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Now, I have to wait for the piercing to heal again and hope the hole isn’t too stretched to get the smaller ring I originally wanted. I will never return to Major Ink.

Took my soon to be 16 year old daughter to get her belly button piercing. The place had good reviews so I did a little more research and went. Everyone was nice and professional. The place was clean and well taken care of. Jess was kind and explained everything to us. The piercing took like two seconds and it was done. I think it hurt me more than my daughter. The final product looked really good.

Hey. Literally just left this shop with the attempt to change my piercing jewelry ( Helix & Tragus) that’s Two months old to shorten the bar. On this date - a piercer named Amy attempted to clamp on to my tragus 8 times snagging at my piercing and the reason being “ the crustiness “ which was fine I guess, then she decided to clean it with rubbing alcohol ( you should never use rubbing alcohol on a fairly new piercing ) and upon asking if she had the saline solution instead to actually clean it , her response was “ we don’t have that here & if the alcohol is burning you then maybe you shouldn’t be trying to change it “.I grabbed my jewelry and left out the door . How are you conducting piercings without saline solution ? That’s absurd.

I had an amazing time and was treated very well. The tattoo came out perfect I will definitely be going back.

Got my first tattoo with my daughter today at 48 years old! Charlie not only is a talented artist but he took care of me! ❤️‍🩹The place is clean and the receptionist was so delightful! As a cancer survivor I have a messed up nervous system so I jerk but he handled me with care and did a phenomenal job! I’m going back to get a music note on my arm next time! And good pricing. Came here because of all the positive reviews however I did not find them to be friendly at all. No one was friendly. Piercer didnt even introduce herself. My daughter wanted a cartilage ear piercing and she didnt even ask what ear she wanted pierced she just went ahead and chose the ear for her. Afterwards started an entire lecture on aftercare I had to ask if she had an aftercare form like most studios do. Thats when she gave us a care card for some product that they sell there then proceeded to say basically everything I just said. Its like I just begged for a service. No thank you. Also charged me $20 to have a consent form for a minor notarized. Im yet to meet the notary.

DO NOT GO HERE. None of the piercers are APP certified and I’ve had to get many ear and nose piercings repierced 1-3 times because the piercer isn’t qualified to properly preform these piercings. And they still charge full price each time. Go to Electric Flamingo or Amato for quality work!!!

Don’t trust a place that bribes you for good reviews by offering you a measly discount. I came here for a piercing, first of all they don’t answer the phone. When I arrived they did not welcome me in and were very curt and unfriendly. I said the piercing I wanted and the man who pierced me was dead silent the entire time. I literally had to ask basic questions like “what material is the jewelry” and “how do I take care of it?” A professional would tell you these things without having to ask. I felt like I was talking to a ghost. I was in and out in ~10 minutes which is way too quick. They should take the time to make you feel comfortable, explain the procedure, assess anatomy, confirm the placement, and explain aftercare. They did not do any of these things. On top of this the jewelry is not implant grade titanium which is needed for fresh piercings, and for ear piercings they use butterfly backs (which are notoriously bad) instead of flat-backs. Also the cleaning solution they sell you contains witch hazel and other oils which should NEVER be used to clean fresh piercings. (Only use saline solution.) They clearly don’t know what they’re doing and should not be piercing people’s bodies. I would recommend going to an APP certified piercer instead, even if it’s a little pricier you will be paying for good service and your piercing will heal properly.

Went in with my sister for a nose piercing with no appointment (on a Friday afternoon)-in and out in 15 minutes. Willie explained everything very well and was SUPER QUICK. It was a great experience and it is a beautiful shop. Everyone was super nice and welcoming.

Came to major ink yesterday to get some piercings with my mom. Willy was our piercer and he was amazing!!! I nicknames him speedy fingers 😂😂 I was a little nervous about my Tragus (however the heck you spell that) piercing and he surprised me at how it did not hurt !!! The price was great, the shop was super clean and the girl in the front was super nice and friendly! 10/10Would definitely recommend!!!

I took my daughter to get a second ear piercing and Aaron was amazing! He explained everything to her and put her nerves at ease. She talked me into getting a helix piercing. I have had it done in the past and every time I had to pull the piercing and let it heal. This time was a success! I have had the piercing now for at least 6 months and beyond thrilled that it healed without any complications. She is now talking me into taking her back for another piercing!

I got a piercing done about a week and a half ago and it came out this am. I called and was told come in. I came in and explained to the guy that I just cleaned it as told and when I woke up this am that it was out.He then replied “ I don’t remember you, I can tell it’s closed and needs to be pierced, I make sure I tighten all my piercings “ I said well I never did anything but clean the area…. so I have to pay another $50? He shrugged his shoulders and said “yup, I don’t make the prices” as he was walking away.He was rude. Customer service was horrible. I will NEVER go back.On the bright side I went to my tattoo shop on pines and Natalie did a great job! Their customer service was wayyyy better. She explain everything and guess what the other side happened to be loose also smh so she switch the jewelry which was too short and now I’m happy. So happy I got an additional piercing.I RARELY write reviews but trust me my experience here was no good!

Erin/Aaron was my piercer. I had gotten a nostril piercing a couple months ago and the thing got infected just a few days later. I did the cleaning procedures I was told to do which I had to ask for by the way. Nothing was told to me until I asked. And the cleaning procedure wasn’t great by the way because I got told to clean my piercing with HANDSOAP. Yes, this could work but it was a brand new piercing. You need solution, not hand soap. Anyway, despite my efforts, it still got infected and lasted months. I had to take it out somewhere else and let it heal. Not only did my skin get infected, but the piercing was in the wrong spot in general. Erin had hit a nerve which caused pain in my nose, reaching to my TEETH for a week and a half. I went to another, better piercer who told me that the metal was extremely cheap, and that I was pierced completely wrong. No wonder why it hurt so much. It felt like I had the worst toothache of my life. Just in case you thought it was low pain tolerance, the second time I got pierced I didn’t feel pain not even a day after. I wouldn’t recommend this place for any piercings besides ear piercings. Total waste of money

Honestly would never go back. It felt rushed and I barely got any information. I went to get my industrial piercing and I’ve never been more upset. As a piercer they usually know what’s best but this lady told me it’s wasn’t exactly how it should be AFTER SHE PIERCED IT. “It doesn’t look exactly how it should because of the way your ear is but it’s still an industrial” she said. I was speechless couldn’t even bring myself to comment on why she didn’t say anything before she pierced it… of course they don’t know these things but my ears are slightly different and if it was apparent that it wouldn’t be exactly “as it should” she should have took the time to check and see what’s best. And honestly it would look better on my other ear but I shouldn’t have been the one to determine that afterwards. AT LEAST TELL ME BEFORE HAND IT WONT LOOK RIGHT. Absolutely ridiculous. Maybe tattoos are good here but I wouldn’t recommend piercings with whatever lady it was. Didn’t even get a name.

About a a little over a year ago, I got my first tattoo, and I have to say that my first tattoo experience with Major Ink was amazing thanks to Wendii!! Since then, I’ve gotten all of my tattoos with Wendi, and I’ve brought several family members as well, and they have been beyond satisfied with her work. Today, I did a mother and daughter tattoo with my mom, and we loved it!! Wendii is kind, artistic, answers all your questions, takes her time doing what you ask for, and just all around makes the experience awesome. I’ve done 5 tattoos so far with Wendii, and I will not go with anyone else for my future tattoos. Thank you Wendii for being awesome!! 🙂

Robert squeezed my sister and I in at the last minute, just before leaving the shop & still had a great attitude. He made my sister and I feel very comfortable. We’ve had bad piercing experiences before, and this was the complete opposite. We usually are bleeders, and when Robert pierced us we barely bled. He explained how to properly wash and care for the piercing, and it was a great experience overall.

My son and I got piercings (nose and ear). What a great experience! The studio is beautiful and clean! Our piercing tech( I can’t remember his name) was so courteous and caring. He used sterile equipment and prepped the area well. I highly recommend Major Ink.

My husband and I have been going to the shop for a while since they opened and we haven’t had a bad experience ever. The owners are awesome and are always trying to make sure we’re good during our duration. Most recently, we went and had Rob do our tattoos. He did 2 on me, my forearm to be exact and one on my husband, same location. As well as nose piercings for each. We went home SUPER happy with our tats and our piercings. Rob was great, very easy going and super cool to talk to and most of all, did an incredible job with our tats and piercings. If you’re meaning to go to this shop for your upcoming tats, hit up a Rob for sure. You won’t be disappointed!!

I came here to get my septum pierced by Aaron. He was very nice and explained everything well. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with how it came out. I didn’t say anything at the time because I figured I was just overthinking it. But when I got home and got a closer look, I realized how wrong the placement was. I wanted to get another opinion to be sure, so I went to a different piercing shop the next day and they immediately told me to take it out. The piercer there told me that it was done incorrectly and wasn’t in the sweet spot. It was pierced extremely low through the cartilage and too far back. I ended up getting it redone at a different shop and it came out perfectly and just how I wanted it. With that being said, I still think that major ink is a great shop with a great staff. I’ve gotten tattoos here before and my experiences were great. I would just say that if you want to get your septum pierced, proceed with caution.

My friend and I chose this shop since it was nearby and had good reviews. Honestly, we went into it blindly.. but we couldn’t be anymore happy and pleased with our experience! As soon as we walked in the door, the staff made us feel welcomed. It was Ryan (owner), Eric, and Armando that were present in the shop and all of their vibes and energies were amazing. It was my friend’s first tattoo so it definitely enhanced her experience since she didn’t know what to expect.I also got three more tats done that day which I’m so happy with.I will definitely recommend these artists and come back to this shop. Came here almost a week or so ago to get my navel pierced for my 20th birthday. When i called earlier the guy speaking had a really I dont care voice. I shrugged it off, bad mistake. This place truly doesnt care. Walked in, asked for a piercing and waited. Got called to the back by this girl who didnt even look or smile at us but pointed in the room. no introduction, just a What do you want?. She picked out her own jewelry or whatever was left it seemed and didnt tell me the type or material. She looked at my stomach, drew a line? and quickly told me to LAY BACK as i SAT on a chair. WORST way to get a navel piercing because youre STRETCHED and she has NO expertise. She was really painful and even scraped my inner belly button. Placement WRONG. Told me to get up and i had to ASK what to do or how to take care of it. She rushed me out as she was quickly telling me the info. Had to go to a better piercer and she agreed and saved me. Had to ask the guy in the front for her name, years of expertise, and how to care for my piercing. Ridiculous. Do NOT trust Katherine to do your body piercings. She has no knowledge of anatomy. PLEASE PLEASE save your money and go to a piercing bar. Katherine please take your job seriously. Have some expertise and manners. I paid you.

Got a navel piercing last week and the piercer messed it up. She took way too much skin and gave me super tight jewelry which then made the jewelry embed into my skin. She even told me to use witch hazel which isn’t good for new piercings especially. Luckily I went back and they were able to re pierce it for me and even gave me longer jewelry. I appreciated it and the service was good since I only had to pay $10 and they were quick. I hope the lady is educated so she knows not to mess up like this on anyone else as getting a repiercing is kind of a painful process.

Went in as a walk in after reading the reviews. The place was super clean and welcoming. They had good prices and Wendy did an amazing job. This is my third tattoo and I had my other ones done at other shops and her line work was really nice in comparison. She did a small free hand for me and I’m really pleased with how it came out! Came in for my first tattoo on Sunday and the Owner of the shop along with the artist who tatted me were very helpful and friendly in the process. Shoutout to my artist Guillermo he did a fantastic job and was overall a super cool guy. Will definitely be back in the future.

I took my daughter here to get her piercings done. The young man Aaron that did the piercings was nothing but professional and respectful. He took the time to explain the entire process ahead of completing the piercings. When it was all over, he explained the after care units entirety. This young man was very gentle and the piercings were done before you knew it. I highly recommend this tattoo shop to get your piercings done. Go and ask for Aaron!!!!!!!

After looking for a tattoo shop and artist for over a week, Major Ink was a decision I instantly knew was the right one I made. From my phone call to get information to the way I was greeted, this shop provides a professional and satisfying experience. Rob was super helpful, friendly, and delivered more than I expected. I came in for a small tattoo and was met by bright colors and a warm welcome. I had Pedro do my tattoo and he gave me a suggestion for it and it came out more than perfect, he took his time and ask at the end if I had any paint, just grade A service. Will definitely be coming back here again!

This was my first time going to this studio and I was a little bit scared since it has been a while since I have gotten my last tattoo. But once I entered the studio I was shown so much hospitality and felt very welcomed. My artist was Eric and he was very kind and patient with me. He guided me through the whole process and was very thorough. He didn’t rush anything he explained everything he was doing and made the overall experience a whole lot better. I visited this place to get a piercing came with my sister in law. Originally I wanted a industrial piercing but when I went in the girl I don’t recall her name because this was back in 2022 October, told me that my ear was too small but that I could get the snug so I went with that it was very painful piercing to get don’t recommend at all. I came back because I was in such pain I couldn’t do anything I had to take pain meds from how much pain I was in. When I got there I went to the girl and told her she tried changing it to a longer jewelry and I literally cried why would you put a short jewelry in the first place knowing it’s gonna swell up anyways I was over charged for sure and I will never go back there again she obviously didn’t know what she was doing to be honest

Great place for tattoos and piercings, highly recommend for first-timers. Workers are informative and helpful as well as careful and professional.

There was no one getting any piercings done and she for some reason still made me wait like 20-30 minutes to get pierced. Then she pierced my conch without even showing me the placement first. Then she pierced my earlobes using regular earrings with regular earring backs and one of them fell out of my ear literally three hours after receiving the piercing. I now just had to manually remove the other one myself because the earring she used was digging into my skin and causing it to be red and completely raw.

Took my daughter to get her nose pierced and Rob made her experience great, better than the last place I took her. The parlor was very clean, Rob was very welcoming and a great, great person to do business with. I highly recommend Rob as the technician to use when doing any service at the shop.Lakiesha

This was my first time getting a tattoo. I was told that Mike was the one to go to. The best advice I can give is just dont go here. They use good quality ink, but thats about it. The tattoo didnt turn out well. Went in for a touch up. Still bad. Had to go to another shop to get it done properly. Specifically, the stippling was done in an amateurish way and needed to be redone and covered. When I have to pay another shop and another artist to touch up your work it doesnt reflect well. Sorry guys.

Guillermo did 2 tattoos with in a month for me and one for my wife. All 3 tattoos came out fantastic.Guillermo was professional, great conversation; and a very light handed Artist. I searched for best tattoo shop near me, and Major Ink Studios was the first shop that came up. I read their reviews, and customers had great things to say about them. I reached out to Wendii via Instagram, and saw her great work, so I came in to get my first tattoo. I am absolutely in love with my tattoo, she took her time to show me the different fonts, sizes, and she made sure that it was exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it to look before she got started. I’m truly satisfied with the quality of her work, and would definitely go back for another tattoo and recommend her to others.

Guillermo is the BEST. I went to him for my first tattoo and I was so nervous about it. But he was super helpful and reassuring that I calmed down real quick. He was cracking jokes throughout the entire process and time flew. He took breaks when I needed to, consistently asked me how I felt, and I really appreciated it. If you’re a first timer and are looking for someone with patience and that will ease your mind in the process, Guillermo’s your guy.

Avoid this place! if you need a tattoo there are plenty of other reliable shops around the Miami area! I already had tattoos going into this experience and never have I ever been mistreated like this place. The tattoo from this shop is INFECTED and half of the tattoo is MISSING. I called the shop and my claim was IGNORED! Poor tattoo artists and even worse management!

I went to major ink studios after hearing about it from a friend and I was so amazed by not only the customer service but the atmosphere as well. John was my artist and he exceeded my expectations! I recently got my septum pierced at a different location but had to come here because the ball fell out and they were the only location open. Robert was so accommodating. He dropped everything to help me fix my piercing so that I wouldn’t be late for work. The staff here was so nice! If I get anymore piercings I’m definitely coming back here!

Definitely would recommend this place!! Me and my friend came here to get my septum pierced and his nose pierced, and the guy Kirk did a perfect job!! Later in the week I needed a bigger ring to be put in and it was no problem to go back and have him change it!! This is the only studio I will ever go to again and wish I had found it sooner!!! I have had quite a few tattoos in the past at other studios and a few did not come out as I would have liked. Highly recommend Robert for nose piercings I went in today with my daughter very nervios about the hole thing. Just last week my nose piercing got snagged and fell out so I went back to the shop and got it repierced by Aaron. It was quick and painless too. Got my septum reprieved with Robert after the piercer in the other location pierced it crooked. He was so nice, explained the process and answered all my questions (something that the other piercer couldn’t do and just said “I don’t know”). I went in with a friend to get piercings. I got a smiley done, he gave us no cleaning instructions.🚩 I should’ve walked out when the receptionist had to ask if he was able to do a smiley. We finally got the piercings and the same night my ball fell out & and i struggled to put it back in. Mind you the piercer struggled to put the ball in after it was pierced. The same night i noticed it was pierced too close to my upper lip.🚩🚩. I called and dm both of the locations to put the ball back in and got a ignored my dms was read and not responded to. I eventually went somewhere more professional to get the ball put back on and i also asked was it pierced correctly and it wasn’t. I was told that i was a possibility that it may not heal correctly and it should be taken out. I will not return here for any more piercings. It was very unprofessional.

The service and setting was really good but when it came to after the fact. The tattoo I got I could tell was not done properly once it was done healing completely the simple solid black tattoo came out blotchy and messy. Keep in mind I made sure it was always moisturized and I NEVER picked at it but yet it still came out blotchy and messy.

The staff is amazing and they are very knowledgeable at what they do. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. I reccomend this shop for everyone first timers or someone who has had several tattoos or piercings love it there. My daughter got her first tattoo at this shop.

I came in to get a helix and daith piercing and I had a very good experience. Erin was amazing and very helpful. He also informed me on a fact about daith piercings and how they can help we migraines, which was interesting and cool to know.

I was pierced by Aaron for the second time. Made it quick and easy and well informed me of how to take care of it and what not to do. Great service and would recommend to anybody! Thanks again!

Wendii was so amazing! This is my first tattoo and I was so nervous but Wendii made it the best experience ever. Throughout the entire time she was letting me know what she was doing and made my overall experience so comfortable. I definitely will be going to her again for future tattoos.

As I waited we had a great conversation with Amy and Wendii! my best friend and I had came in here and instantly fell in love with the vibrant colors and atmosphere the shop had gave. Robert did my septum piercing and it was perfect (: . I had it pierced at Inkaholic a few years back and they pierced through my cartilage and it hung too low. He’s awesome though and super cool, I’d recommend him!!

Made an appointment with Robert, and everything went smoothly. He ask for a deposit one day so he can sketch out my tattoo. Next day he called me and asked when is a good time for you to come in. Guess I caught him on a good day I told him that same day im ready! Next 2 hours im laying in the chair and 6 hours later were done! 10/10 awesome work and very light hand compared to other artists Ive been too. Hes also a really nice guy. He deffinaly has my business cause Im coming back for sure !PS: dont tell him its hurt unless you want a very sarcastic answer 😂

This studio and the staff far over exceeded my expectations in every way. I had a 10 year-old unfinished cover up that needed to be shaded in. Mike did the entire outline over, shaded it in and added his own touch to it to bring it to life. The whole process was great- every time Mike switched needles he let me know what to expect pain wise and he was on point each time. Amy “Mimi” put a wall up to give me some privacy since the area was near my hooha which I really appreciated because other shops don’t do that. I see people complain that the prices are high but they seemed fair to me compared to other spots plus the overall quality and experience is worth every penny. Definitely recommend and will definitely return!!
