We had an amazing experience at The Honorable Society! Pony did a fantastic job with our tattoos, and his creative input really made the design even better than we imagined. His artistic vision and attention to detail are top-notch! We had to change our appointment last minute, but the booking team made it so easy. They were incredibly responsive, and getting a new appointment was no trouble at all. Overall, the entire process from start to finish was smooth and stress-free. Really professional tattoo studio! Inside you will find various artists with different styles and all really paying attention to details! I I have been Anthonys client several times for both complex and simpler tattoos; each time I would come in with some (confused) idea and he would make it better than I had imagined! I definitely recommend anyone who wants to be sure of the result to go to him and trust and be guided by his imagination!

Great experience. Endry listened, understood exactly what I wanted and made suggestions. His work is extremely intricate. My tattoo is truly a work of art. He is a genuine artist. The compliments in the detail are non stop. I’m super happy.

We always get tattoos when we travel & when visiting the LA area the shop was very communicative with us, helpful & the prices matched their work.Pony was a great artist. His work was excellent. Appointment was very easy to make. My artist Marco was kind and patient. We discussed my idea thoroughly and he gave me several different options and even a couple opinions, leading me to create a unique piece that I love! The session was quiet and very enjoyable. Honestly, this was one of the best (and most gentle) tattoo experiences Ive ever had (and Ive had a few). Michael is super chill and talented. He did some sketches from my reference photo, he listened to my requests and then he went to work -- with a very gentle touch (so if youre a first-timer and worried about the pain-- hell take care of you!) I barely felt the needle. Everything in the shop was clean and maintained. I was comfortable, he was fun to talk to, and the next thing I knew, I had this gorgeous tattoo with the most delicate lines.Im a week healed and have hardly had any itching or after-pain. The tat looks like its always been there, and I love it. Im still new(ish) to LA and Im stoked to find this shop and a good artist.Highly recommend!

The day of, Pony, my tattoo artist was friendly and professional. He used my references to draw up an awesome tattoo, was super receptive to feedback on what I liked/didnt like from the reference, and just overall really exceeded my expectations. By a serendipitous coincidence, Sebastian was walking into work just as we were approaching the shop, even though he was the only one there at the time. This lucky timing allowed for an early, last-minute appointment, which was incredibly convenient. Their online appointment scheduling system is also very user-friendly and made booking a breeze.Sebastian was fantastic to work with on the tattoo design. He took the source image and brought it to life perfectly. The tattoo itself, which is a black cat playing with a rainbow ribbon on my calf, turned out beautifully. The attention to detail and the vibrant colors are exactly what I hoped for.The shop had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire process. Price point was expected, but not bad by any means.The response from the staff was prompt, polite and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The place was really clean too. I was looking for a realism tattoo artist. I found Endry Stymest. He is the real deal. I just sit in the chair with no questions because I KNOW Endry will make it happen. Great experience. I needed a tattoo covered and got a large lion profile to my upper arm. Anthony was terrific - the tattoo was more beautiful than I could have imagined and he made it a good, even fun, process. Highly recommend the business and Anthony in particular!

I wanted myself to have a great memory about my 3week vacation in the USA. I chose THS for my first ever Tattoo and I Was super happy with my choice. I emailed them my base idea and an AI generated template.Without any further talking Michael greated an awesome Interpretation of it and we started with it right away.The result is amazing and I love it already.

My wife and I set up our appointment a few days ahead of time. Booking request is super simple, and they get back right away to set the appointment! The shop is beautiful, and everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming. Ive had many hours of tattoos elsewhere, having something to compare to, this shop is definitely one of the top experiences. Marco helped us tweak our design to get it perfect, and did a masterful job at placement, and with a gentle touch, even on the ribs! We peeked at what everyone else was getting, and all the work being done at this shop looked immaculate. Highly recommended.

Daniel Matsumoto did an amazing job on my tattoo! very quick and detailed. I thought it was probably going to take about 3.5 hours with all the black but he was done in about 2.5 hrs it’s still healing but here’s a picture of it about a week old now! He also gave great instructions on how to take care of it during the healing process so that the ink wouldn’t bleed out. All and all it was an amazing experience! I’ll definitely be returning for more tattoos!

Kortez was absolutely amazing. He did what I asked while making suggestions. He went above and beyond and included little details I wouldnt have thought about. He didnt force conversation, but also didnt allow for awkward silence. I would come back a million times for him! His humor and hospitality is unmatched. We joked that his artwork would be my favorite, but it actually did end up being most peoples favorite of my 7 tattoos. Fantastic personality, with fantastic art.

My tattoo artist was amazing! He took my idea for a science tattoo that I was turned away from other shops for and did his own spin on it! Hes Sebastian Chica if you need a good science tattoo artist! Such a cool person and made my tattoo experience comfortable and therapeutic!

I would highly recommend getting a tattoo here. Scheduling was easy and their team was very responsive / communicative. Shop itself was very clean and organized. Endry was the artist I opted to work with based on the style I wanted and he is amazing. He is a highly skilled artist and so friendly. This was my first tattoo and Endry made me feel so at ease. It turned out perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

Decided to get my first tattoo during a trip to LA and so happy that I found the perfect spot & that I booked with Michael. I showed Michael a picture of what I was looking for, and what he made for me was a thousand times better than what I had originally showed him. This is the second tattoo I have received in shop- 6 years apart. I requested a tattoo whilst in town from Scotland UK visiting my brother with time and budget constraints for my both my partner and I. Anthony found time for us to provide two fantastic tattoos under time and budget! It was an excellent experience again, great staff, great service and great result, lives up to the local reputation and more. Won’t go to another LA shop and will be back in again the next time we are in town!

From my initial inquiry via The Honorable Society’s webpage, to texts and ultimately speaking to a representative I felt a timely, and vested interest with regard to all questions I had. When I arrived for my appointment with Pony he took all of my ideas and formulated them into artwork that I had envisioned for many years. Pony worked with me on every aspect from design to sizing the piece to of course budget. Pony’s station was clean, sanitary met all expectations around tattoo care. I will be going back for “part 2” of my work with Pony and I would recommend anyone wanting to work with an amazing group of artists to look into The Honorable Society.

Got my very first tattoo with Pony, and had a great experience! He took extra time to explain the process and make true the placement and design were just perfect. I had some simple line work done, but he still ensured the thickness, shading, and color were what I wanted. Overall extremely happy!

Genuinely a great experience, from the ease of the booking process, the calm comforting vibe of the shop to the final product. Endry did an amazing job explaining everything and making sure it was how I liked it. They also explained how to make changes so as the tattoo ages it will still look amazing. This was my second time going to Pony and he never disappoints. He’s an incredibly talented artist. Beyond that, he’s always so kind and patient with me throughout the process when I have a ton of questions (discussing size, detail, placement, etc). I had been recommended Pony by a friend. It was a great rec and I will continue to go to Pony.

Making the appointement went well because of the rapid e-mail answers, upon arrival there was a bit of delay but the tattoo artist (Daniel matsumoto) was very nice and took his time to make my design. I felt really comfortable

I got my very first tattoo on August 10, 2024. Endry was my tattoo artist! I gave him an idea of what I wanted and I let him run with it. This tattoo is of my dad’s signature. My dad suddenly passed away in May 2023. I decided to get a tattoo on what would have been his birthday. Endry understood that this tattoo wasn’t just any ordinary tattoo and that it was extremely special to me. The butterfly he tattooed is so detailed as well. Endry was so calm and patient with me. He created something for me that is so beautiful. I’m so happy with the results. The shop itself had such an awesome vibe to it too. I would highly recommend anyone that is looking to get a new tattoo to check out THS!

Monty did an amazing job with my Avatar the Last Airbender tattoo. He worked with me when I had to delay getting it done by over a year due to getting pregnant (surprise baby #2!), and he took great care before, during, and after the tattoo was completed to make sure that everything was perfect. His attention to detail is malicious and he really put the thought and effort into making thelis piece perfect! I would recommend him for all watercolor pieces and any color piece in general.

Absolutely top notch. Dope environment, and their artists are not just talented but also great with their clients. Steve worked on my tat and did an excellent job, but on top of that was so genuinely excited to work on it and happy to brainstorm specifics with me. Plus this was easily the quickest healing tattoo Ive gotten yet - my last one was a bit overworked so to see Steves finesse was particularly refreshing. Anyway, the price tag is a smidge higher than Im used to, but its worth every penny. This place is the real deal.

They were able to get me and my GF in to see Michael (who did amazing work on both of us) fairly quickly. His fine line work is outstanding, we will be using him next time we’re in town! Highly recommended this spot!

He also created an amazing free handed flame tattoo for my friend who came along. I would highly recommended Monty for sharp lines and watercolor blending tattoos.

WOW!!! If there was a way to give more stars, I definitely would!! This place is amazing! I went there to get a tattoo for Farmer Boys 40th Anniversary promotion. Farmer Boys set up the appointment for me and sent me an email telling me about my appointment about a week before. I made sure to get there early for my tattoo that day. Unfortunately there was some mistake about my appointment and they didnt have me on the calendar for that day. That is when Marcos came in and saved the day!! He took me anyway and pushed his schedule back a bit to accommodate me. I had traveled quite a distance in heavy traffic and he understood. On top of that this tattoo is by far the absolute best one Ive ever gotten. The details and color are so AMAZING!! And this is a small 2x2 tattoo! To get that detail takes a skilled hand. I looked for so long to find a fine line artist that I really liked and I fell in love with Malvi and her tattoos. She really took the idea I had in my head and said hold my beer haha. Its so much better than I had expected and she was so easy to work with and very sweet. All of the other artists I saw while I was having my tattoo done were very personable and professional. Its a little hole in the wall place but the staff and atmosphere pack a punch! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would, and a special thanks to Malvi for her attentiveness and care!

My artist was Monty Siam and I had requested a watercolor/ink brush style for a Majoras Mask Zelda tattoo. He had some nerdy pieces on his Instagram and I took the dive and my goodness, my expectations were exceeded!It was my first tattoo, so I included references in our consultation so he knew what I wanted. I love the tattoo Anthony SlayJ gave me. It was my second ever tattoo and a fine line tattoo, as well. He made the whole process easy and made me feel so comfortable and not nervous. Awesome, experienced guy and great to talk to. Making an appointment at The Honorable Society Tattoo shop was super easy. Parking is easy to find, whether its street or one of the parking facilities nearby. The shop has an old school Victorian kinda vibe to it and I loved it. Minimum is a bit pricy but what they offer, how they take care of their clients, and most important, their hygiene practices make it 100% worth it to pay a bit extra. Im going back to Anthony for my next tat.

Visiting LA I wanted to ink the experience. Before going I did some research and Honorable Society kept coming up on best shop lists. I reached out via email and discussed designs. Left a small deposit ( remember I’m not local) and the assigned me to Tommy. Day off I was prompt, and artist Tommy was ready. A few tweaks to the design and away we went. Took less time than we thought ( I eliminated some of the original design) and I was charged accordingly. Beautiful work, fairly priced. I can’t wait to get back to NY and show my friends.

By far my favorite experience at a tattoo shop. The artists are top notch, professional and make great conversation.I couldnt be more happy with the tattoo I received.The owners are sincere human beings so im not surprised that the whole shop oozes an ambiance that makes you feel warm and welcome.This is the spot to go.

Despite the misunderstanding, would absolutely recommend them.The place was pleasant, quiet, and clean. Communication before the appointment was great, both through email and text. Prompt and helpful. The appointment itself was fine. My tattoo artist was professional and courteous. Overall it would be a 4/5 star experience, however I later discovered that I had been overcharged. The confirmation email listed the price as $150. The tattoo artist ended up charging me $200. It could have been an internal miscommunication, and it’s my fault for not seeing the email until after the fact. But still a noteworthy issue.Overall I’d still recommend the business

Just got my tattoo by Adrian and I loved it! Hes super chill and friendly. I showed him a couple of photos and briefly explained what I had in mind and then he sketched out the whole thing with a unique design and a handwritten phrase that I couldnt decide which way to line with the image. Got my first tattoo done my Endry Stymest. Hes really easy to work with and is a master of his craft. He was able to make my concept in to reality, and it turned out better than I couldve imagined.

Michael is a blessing! I asked for roman numerals on my neck / behind the ear and he did a perfect job. Really fine lines, neat and tidy, I’m sure it’ll last for ages, thank you so much 😭❤️

I was only in LA for a limited time and making an appointment was really easy and quick too. I had contact with Adrian and we scheduled an appointment for 2 days later.Once there, I explained to Adrian what I wanted for my first tattoo and he started drawing right away. After a short while he had some things drawn up that looked really good. We talked a bit and made some fun during the session and Adrian was really friendly and helpful. All in all it took around 2.5 hours from start to end and the end result was absolutely amazing.Would definitely recommend.

Almost all of the work on my body has been done at THS, and 75% of it has been done by Emily Effler. To say she is phenomenal is not doing her justice. She has the absolute lightest hand. Emily is also one of the most skilled illustrators /artists that is able to create stunning imagery, from just a conversation regarding concept. She has no attitude, is friendly and very open to suggestions; it always feels collaborative when we work on an idea together. She keeps me coming back to this shop over and over.

I went to the Honorable Society for my first tattoo with their artist, Pony, and it was by far an amazing experience. They do consistently great work, have a clean and sanitary environment, the workers there are very friendly and easygoing. I give it a 10/10 and will come back to try the other artists for my 2nd tattoo!

Awesome job. I booked online which you could include the design, placement and color/gradient. You pay a deposit upfront, and it’s applied towards the work you have done. I showed up and met Daniel (very talented and passionate about the artistry) he asked if I’d like something to drink, reviewed the design wanting to know more about my inspiration so he could turn my idea into art. I cannot completely explain how wonderful my experiences at The Honorable Society Tattoo Parlor and Lounge have been. Emily Effler gave me my first two tattoos and I plan to go back to her for all my future ones. The artistry that fills the Honorable Society is unlike anything Ive ever seen before. Emily worked with me to create pieces of art that I would love for the rest of my life. She made the experience extremely lighthearted and she was able to calm my nerves all while making clear that she is an artist and knows exactly what she is doing. I trusted her to draw the perfect images and she exceeded all of my expectations. Friends and family always ask me where I got my tattoos and I always point at the dope sticker Emily gave me that is now on my computer. I cant wait to go back in August for my annual tattoo.

I’ve been here twice and got my first and now 2nd, 3rd, and 4th tattoos all done by Kortez. Everyone in the shop is so nice and makes sure you’re happy with the design, size, placement, etc before starting. I am originally from north LA and now live on the east coast, but made a second appointment with Kortez the few days I was in town…if that’s any indication into how much I loved my first tattoo. Booking was super easy as well. Definitely recommend!!

Had a custom fine line piece on my collarbone done by Tyler. You can tell he really cared about the quality of his work and allowed me to make tweaks to the design until I thought it was perfectly. He answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable throughout the experience. Hes very knowledgable about the aftercare for different kinds of tattoos, and Im extremely satisfied by the artwork. Its clear this parlor has top-notch artists who are capable of pretty much any tattoo style. My tattoo cost $500 and it took around 3.5 hours from conceptualizing the artwork to completion. Overall very happy with how this turned out. The photos reflect the adhesive bandage placed over the tattoo, but I can come back in a couple week with an update after its healed!

Endry Stymest is so good at realism! I did tons of research on artists for my heart of the ocean tattoo because it could easily turn out corny but I’m so glad I found Endry because he absolutely crushed it!!! Totally exceeded all my expectations and I’ve already gotten a million compliments. He was also very professional, kind and checked in often to see how I was doing. The shop is clean and they played good throwback music too. Highly recommend!!

I was nervous going into it because it was my first tattoo. I was paired up with Tommy and from our consultation he made me feel comfortable which I appreciated so much. The day of, I wasn’t sure with the placement of my tattoo but he told me he could put the stencil on and see where I liked it more. He never made me feel uncomfortable and was so nice. I got my dog’s paw print and he had asked about her. We both shared that we lost our dogs. So hearing his experience made me feel so happy and it truly means more to me knowing I got my tattoo done by someone who shares the same perspective on losing a pet. This is an amazing studio and my artist Malvi did a phenomenal job on my tattoo! She captured the essence of my ideas and created a unique design that perfectly fit my personality and style. She suggested sizes, placements and rotation to the location I wished to do, and performed the work efficiently and quickly. The tattoo was awesome, it was not painful at all and the experience was great on the studio with very pleasant music and chatting with the other artists as well. Im from DC, visited SoCal for vacation, and didnt have an intent to get a tattoo while I was out. Back in my 20s I had made an abstract concept myself while in school and got it tattooed, and one of my goals for my next tattoo was to have an artist put their on interpretation into it. I went in with a rough idea of what I wanted to do, and the main concept of wanting an actual artist to put their own touch on my rough idea. I got matched with Josh. When I told him, I could see his energy level rise and he became visibly excited about getting a chance to have some creative freedom on a tat. Anyway, that energy carried its way throughout the whole process and when I saw what he worked up I was ecstatic to get the tat done. Josh is a true artist, a good representation of what THSTP has to offer, and if I ever need another tattoo done I might fly out to LA just to have him do it. The picture doesnt even do the level of detail he put into this justice. He made it look like brushstrokes down to the point where it looks like it was actually painted on. People have been complimenting me on the tattoo every time they see it. First time getting work done here and I can happily say I am 100% satisfied. I got referred to come here by a friend, and more specifically to work with Endry after reviewing his work on instagram. He was personable, professional, and did an incredible job with my tattoo. The session lasted about 3-3.5 hours with breaks in between, and the tattoo healed beautifully. I am already in contact with Endry for my next piece and am already looking forward to my next piece!

I was super happy to work with Tommy, whose work on a design I created came to life even more beautifully than I could have imagined. I have gotten countless compliments on my tattoo, and especially on the watercolor-style rainbow I got. He was also so patient with me for sizing and placement, last minute updates, and also conferred with me on a coloring choice that ultimately led to me being WAY happier with my tattoo than I would have been otherwise. They all greeted me upon arrival and Sam confirmed my design and then got to it. He was really down to earth, which helped me relax and chatted just enough to distract. He had a very light hand while doing the tattoo. Im very happy with my tattoo and even showed him another design that I was considering. I will go back and ask for Sam to do the next piece. This tattoo shop is incredible. The artist that did my work is named Endry and hes very professional but also really friendly. I gave him a sketch for 2 different tattoos that he used for his own sketches and he had them finished super fast. Very easy to talk to about any alterations you want me to his sketch. Hell also give you really good advice about why what you want changed might not be a good idea; he always has the tattoos longevity in mind and wants to make sure it looks good for years to come, not just the first few weeks. Hes incredibly talented with hyper realistic tattoos but also with color tattoos. Anything you want done, hes your guy. That said, all the artists are very very talented.I dont even live in California but Ill only go to this shop from now on.

Did my research and found this place to be exactly what I was looking for. Bida was my tattooist and she was a total perfectionist. Unfortunately I had to put my 15 year old doggie down and was heartbroken. I brought in a few photos and Bida replicated my boy like I never thought possible. I came in with a photo and he rendered it and gave me size and pricing options super quickly as well as making sure I had proper positioning to prevent the image distorting; the session in total took about 30mins and the results are incredible. I told my friend to book her own appointment there as soon as I got back to our place and she went in the next day and also had a great experience. Everybody there was really genuine and friendly but not in that typical LA kinda phony way, super chill and confident which just made me feel comfortable straight away. Great experience overall, next time Im in LA Im definitely stopping in for another piece. Thanks!

This tattoo shop was absolutely amazing, from the location to the atmosphere inside. The shop is incredibly clean and well designed. My friend and I were tattooed by Marco. I ended up changing what I wanted and felt bad doing so but Marco was quick to draw up an absolutely beautiful tattoo. It healed so well. I am from out of town but would travel all the way back to California for another tattoo.

He had looked at my sketches, and although I had I wanted a larger image, he explained to me why he thought I should bring the size down a little. His explanation made sense, so I trusted his judgment and went with his recommendation - - and let me say - - IM SO GLAD I LISTENED TO HIM!!! My tattoo is exactly how I pictured it in my mind. Pony is a true artist - and a perfectionist. He wouldnt pick up the needle until I was 100% sure of the size and placement. Im a bit of a perfectionist myself and he took his time sketching my tattoo and placing it on my arm three different times until I was happy with the EXACT position. He never seemed frustrated by me asking to move it around until it was exactly where I wanted. Big thumbs up to Pony for his artistry and his professionalism. Additionally, Honorable Society has a chill vibe and they make you feel super comfortable during your time with them. Highly recommend!

He patiently worked through both designs with me to explain what placement and size would make them look the best— he even drew me a quick diagram to show me how the tattoos would sit on my muscles and bones. This was by far the best tattoo experience I’ve had. Pony was a great artist who really cared about my satisfaction. He took his time experimenting with the placement so I could leave the parlor happy. I have been coming here for all of my tattoos. Not once I have ever been disappointed. I go to Malwina, she is so gently getting me ready for my session and during. She is also so patient with the designs and will sit with you to make it prefect. All of my tattoos have healed so amazing and quick! I have always been treated really well by everyone in the shop. Setting up an appointment is really easy. The directions and finding parking in front or in parking garage is very easy.I will keep coming up here.

My BFF and I came in from Nashville to visit and both got tattoos w/ Daniel. He was awesome! I have my guy back home in Nashville but Daniel is definitely the best in the west! Will definitely be back to see him next time were in town!

The shop is fantastic! I emailed them one morning over the weekend to ask about pricing and artists that might be able to do a large, hot pink monarch butterfly on my arm and immediately got a text and email back with pricing info. They even fit me in with Tommy that evening! Tommy is an incredible artist with a light touch and the outcome was so perfect that I immediately booked my next appointment there on the spot - an even larger tattoo down my forearm. Hoping to make this shop my regular go-to shop. Thank you HS!

From reaching out 2 months ago to book an appointment to my actual tattoo, everything was perfect! They responded quickly, answered my questions, extremely professional when booking the appointment. My tattoo was with Endry and he did an amazing job putting 5 random pictures I found on the internet to represent each stop of my two week vacation together into a fantastic souvenir tattoo. I have many tattoos and this is without hesitation one of the least painful ( they all hurt to some degree), the work is badass, healing awesome. To say I am in love with it is an understatement 🥰

I’d recommend this place to ANYONE. Booking was so easy. I filled out the form on their website, and someone got in touch with me in literally minutes. They answered me questions, and I secured my appointment. My artist was Pony. He was so nice and professional. He took the time to talk with me and make sure I got exactly what I wanted even if it took multiple edits before actually picking up the needle. When he did, he was meticulous and took his time. Literally no complaints. Clean facility and every artist there seemed very welcoming. I’m only in the area for a short time, but if I’m looking to get inked again I will definitely be booking here and with Pony.

New favorite tattoo shop! The booking process was awesome! They matched both me and my husband with artists based on our style and what we were looking for. My husband saw Endry and Malwina did mine. I went in without a clear idea of what I wanted and Malwina brought my idea to life. She designed a gorgeous tattoo and I love it! The tattoo healed beautifully and I can’t wait to get another from her!

AJ (@slayjtattoo on Instagram) at The Honorable Society is the best tattoo artist I have been to, I have over 50 pieces from him and will continue to go back forever. He is kind and makes sure you are comfortable and love your tattoo placement and size before he starts tattooing. He also makes your tattoo dreams become a reality. My micro realism tattoos by him look printed on and I have had some for over three years and they still look great.

Tommy was fantastic! He hand-traced letters of handwriting that is near and dear to my heart to bring the tattoo I envisioned to life! Cannot recommend his work and this place highly enough.

Went here to get my first tattoo and the experience was good. The Front Office customer service here is exceptional!! From my first inquiry through checking in for my appointment, they were quick to respond, answered all my questions, and helped make the booking/deposit experience seamless. The tattooing itself was not as painful as I thought it would be, however before starting the artist Pony did ask me if I was ok and if the sensation was tolerable which I appreciated. I will consider coming back once Ive decided what I want for my next tattoo!

I’ve now gotten 3 tattoos over 3 years at ths and every experience has been wonderful. Amazing tattoo artists, especially Michael, who has been wonderful for my past 2 tattoos, as well as my moms past 2 tattoos. Couldn’t be happier with the work!

When I decided I wanted a second tattoo, I knew exactly where I was going (The Honorable Society) and who I wanted to do it (Marco). I went to Marco for my first tattoo and was so pleased that I knew he would do exactly what I wanted for the second. He did not disappoint. He printed out several different sizes, ensuring I got exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love it! Marco takes his time and is precise. I could not recommend him more!
