This was the absolute best experience I have ever had with piercings. The service was phenomenal, everyone was friendly and so helpful, and our body artist, Stephane Rousselin, made me feel so comfortable during the process. And, he was exceptional—professional, efficient, detailed, and minimal discomfort. I will be hard pressed to go anywhere else for future piercings. Will 10/10 be coming back!!! Thank you!!!

I pierced my rear conch… I think that’s what it’s called, and I love it so much!!We went on a Wednesday afternoon without an appointment and the staff was so lovely And helpful. The jewelry is stunning!This was my eighth piercing and by far the best! I’ll definitely be back.

Got my Conch pierced today and had an amazing time! My mom and I fell in love with Stephan, who is the cutest most kind person in the world. Love the French accent! Downstairs was the most kind and friendly , beautiful woman with blue eyes who helped me find the best starter stud in the store. 10/10 experience, can not wait to go back to see Stephan in my two month checkup.

My experience at Maria Tash was all I had hoped it would be and more! My stylist was Oscar Guerrero. He spent a lot of time with me helping me decide the best placement for the earring I wanted. Never pushy and listened carefully to my thoughts and feelings of what I was looking for. He held up many earrings multiple times, so I could be sure I would be happy when I left. He was so kind. Also, he answered my phone calls and emails quickly before my visit. Great customer service!!! I am planning two more piercings very soon and look forward to Oscar being my stylist again.

I have been buying jewelry from Maria Tash for years. I love their selection, everything is gorgeous. It is very expensive but excellent quality.This weekend I went to the Los Angeles location and Reagan helped pick out some pieces for me.She was outstanding She is a true pro at helping to pick out the perfect pieces. I highly recommend her!Stephane was also awesome! He is the head piercer there. He was super helpful at looking at my ear and deciding the best place for a new piercing. His piercing skill was outstanding, didn’t feel a thing but truly the placement of the jewelry to location is perfect.

I was styled by Oscar at a visit a couple months ago - not only was he very insightful and gave great input on what would work well for my current piercings, he worked super efficiently as he could tell I was a bit pressed for time. I have had to follow up with him a couple of times as my piercings have healed, and he has always been professional, incredibly helpful, kind, and lovely to work with. Went to go get my earlobes pierced for the first time at Maria Tash! The experience was absolutely incredible. My piercer was Stephane Rousselin and he was extremely professional and friendly. He walked me through each step and made sure I was happy with the hole placement. When it came time to pierce, he told me it would be painless, and it truly was! I genuinely didn’t feel anything for my left ear and the feeling on my right was insignificant to even call it pain. If I ever get pierced again I will definitely be coming back here. The people at the front desk were also incredibly kind and friendly. 10/10 experience over all 💗

I was in town visiting my brother for a week and I ended up at Maria Tash 3 times!! I have been a fan of her jewelry for many years and I had been excitedly waiting to visit their LA location since the trip was planned.I had Sondra help me choose and style the jewelry that I wanted. She was so knowledgeable and patient as I looked through almost all of the jewelry. She had so many amazing ideas and her expertise was so helpful as I went back and forth about what I wanted. Sandra, the piercer, was also so patient with all my questions about placement of the piercing I wanted. The earring I finally chose to be pierced with wasnt available in the store so Sondra had it rush shipped so that I could still get it while I was in town.This brings me to my second visit when my earring arrived. I had Stephane give me a Tash lobe piercing and he was amazing! Loved his personality that makes you feel at ease immediately. He was also so precise and particular with his measurements that I trusted him immediately - you could tell he definitely knew what he was doing. His expert placement and painless piercing made me come back the very next day for another Tash lobe piercing on the other ear! By this time they were probably sick of seeing me but youd never know it as Sondra and Stephane were always so patient and cheerful. Sondra was always in contact with me regarding the shipment and appointment times and even came into the store when she wasnt scheduled to work (after she already sold me the earrings) to make sure the piercings went smoothly. This store will always be a must visit location anytime I am in town! Thank you all for my beautiful jewelry!

Maria Tash has the worst customer service. If you purchase anything online, you have no choice to be happy with it because they won’t let you return anything (not even for store credit) that you have tried on even one time. They are a piercing shop, so it is not like they cannot re-sterilize the jewelry.I bought the spiked hoop for my conch piercing and cannot wear it because the spikes are so sharp that they draw blood whenever you move and touch the side of your head. Customer service thinks waste of the $700 I spent on this jewelry is just a “inconvenience”.Do yourself a favor and spend your money on a business that cares about its customers.

Got my helix and earlobes pierced around February and was told that the helix piercings would take about nine months to a year to heal. The store assured me that if I needed a shorter post, I could come back. However, the initial post they used was not long enough to accommodate the inflammation that started soon after. My ear became very irritated and painful.When I went back to the store to address the issue I said that I might have an infection but they dismissed it as normal. The staff insisted that I must be sleeping on it, which I wasnt, and claimed I wasnt taking care of it properly, despite my diligent cleaning. They refused to switch out my post for a longer one.Frustrated, I went to Studs, where they immediately changed my piercing to a longer post because they said I definitely need a longer post and if it didn’t start healing after that then I should see a doctor.The pain became unbearable, so I went to the ER and was diagnosed with an infection.In summary, Maria Tash offers expensive services with poor customer support and questionable expertise. They charge premium prices but fail to provide adequate assistance when complications arise.

I went to go get my ears pierced at Maria Tash in Melrose for the first time and Stephane was my piercer. He was extremely warm, friendly, fun, and also made me feel very comfortable. He also was very precise in placing where the ear would be pierced and made sure that I was happy with it. He walked me through the process step by step and overall I couldn’t have asked for a better experience because of Stephane!

Update: no one from the Maria Tash team reached out to me as they said in their reply.I love my new piercing, but the experience was definitely less professional than I expected! The person helping me pick out jewelry seemed rushed and like she was about to leave for the day? She had a dog with her and it seemed very unusual for a luxury jewelry store. Then she told me to go upstairs to wait for my service, and I had to ask how I get upstairs as it was my first time there and the staircase is tucked behind a wall. When I went upstairs, there was someone sleeping in the waiting area, and it seemed grimy - definitely not kept up well. I expected a bit more care and attention and was quite surprised by the lack of customer service.

I had the BEST piercing experience ever here with Harrison!! He was very respectful and kind. They have beautiful jewelry there, too. Getting a new piercing can always be intimidating for many reasons. Throughout my body modification journey, I have been very lucky to find someone like Sandra. She is amazing in every single possible way. Her expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction is what makes her a true professional and amazing at her craft. From day one, she has helped me enhance my body modification journey with her amazing suggestions which have made my piercings go from great to even better. She is also an educated piercer and will give you the best suggestions on piercing placements depending on your anatomy. I have over 30 piercings and the pain is always the same but when with Sandra’s gentle attitude and calm demeanor it helps me remain cool and calm through such an intimidating process. This is the first place i always recommend when anyone mentions they are thinking about getting a piercing. i’ve had three piercings here at three separate times and definitely plan to get more. the piercers are amazing. whatever they do is magic. these were the least painful piercings and the best healing i’ve ever had compared to piercings elsewhere. don’t get shell-shocked from the price. it’s worth every penny. you don’t need to go crazy diamonds and whatever, there’s something for every style. you can make appointments but walk-ins always seem pretty easy when i’ve gone. love maria tash forever and ever.

Tucking into Maria Tash on Melrose Place, I realized that the whole room was sparkling from the beautiful jewelry in the cabinets.I was immediately greeted by Jack Scott, an awesome stylist, who enthusiastically and patiently took me through all the possibilities for placement and the corresponding jewelry that could go there. Jack was kind, warm and supportive. We chose a location and an earring, and I was whisked away by Stephane, the genius piercer.Stephane led me upstairs into what felt like the loveliest medical clinic I had ever been in. The piercing/exam rooms were private and immaculate. Before I even realized it, Stephane had pierced my earlobe with the mildest amount of discomfort. I looked in the mirror for the reveal and I loved it.When I went back downstairs to show Jack, he was super excited to see it—you could tell he loves what he does.I highly recommend Maria Tash if you are ready for a piercing. You will end up with something original and beautiful. If you’re lucky enough to work with Jack and Stephane, great. But I have heard from others that the rest of the staff are top notch.

I came in today with the intent to only buy a jewelry piece for my daith that I got pierced somewhere else. Stephane came to check it. He saw how it was not pierced properly and suggested we remove it, wait for it to heal and then re-do later. And that’s what we did. He did a great job of explaining everything to me and I appreciate him so much.Afterwards he recommended a conch for me which Jack helped me pick out and its beautiful! If you have multiple piercings and you’re looking to refine your aesthetic look for Jack in Los Angeles, he totally nailed what I was after and set me up with new pieces that are classic and beautiful. When you get new jewelry they’ll even install it for you on the spot in their private rooms upstairs. I’ve been a fan of Maria Tash since I had my nose pierced at their New York location in 2008, and this is why I’ll stay a fan. It’s always a beautiful experience from start to finish.

I didn’t do much research, but was familiar with Maria Tash’s reputation when I came in to get some piercings. After having had my piercings for two months, I am so happy I came here. I continue to be impressed by so many small details throughout the entire process from jewelry selection to after care.I came in with an appointment and just a few ideas about piercing placement and Jack was amazing at helping me pick jewelry that really complimented my placement choices. He also helped me find beautiful alternatives when a piece was more than I had anticipated.Once I made my choices, I headed up for my actual piercing. It was so quick and I could tell she was very experienced; she had great advice for all my questions and there was no painful fiddling around with the jewelry. They autoclave your jewelry prior to piercing and confirm your pieces one last time.I also purchased a box of the piercing saline wipes ($7 for 24). These are the BEST. I initially thought they were on the pricey side and bought some alternatives online, but (1) they didn’t have nearly as much saline soaked in them so it didn’t clean as well and (2) even though they were “100% cotton” they weren’t nearly as soft or absorbent as the Maria Tash wipes. I came back and bought several more boxes of the Maria Tash wipes.I happened to be in London when it was time for my one month checkup and it was a completely smooth process there as well. They looked up my account easily, inspected my piercings, and changed out one of my backing posts from the longer to shorter size since the swelling had gone down on it. I was so impressed by how easy it all was despite having had my initial piercing done in the US.Lastly, I had to change out one of my posts at home myself and I was so nervous about it, having struggled with screw on posts in the past, but it went incredibly well with the Maria Tash design of posts. Her beautiful backings look like watch crowns, but they’re actually very functional. Unlike normal backings that are just smooth edges, the crown style gives you something to grip on those tiny backings and it makes it SO much easier to turn. I have so much appreciation for both its looks and function. Jack had said she’s thought of everything and she truly has.I get so many compliments about my piercings. Everyone mentions how much they catch the light even though I picked small minimal pieces. I will definitely come back here when I want piercings in the future. I couldn’t recommend Maria Tash more.

Stefan was amazing. He helped me with putting in my 2 hoops again after 2 years, one has a little charm as well. I had misshaped them because I removed them incorrectly years ago and have had people try and get them in, but never could. He was able to get them in place with no problem and they look beautiful, I’m so happy he was able to fix them for me! He was kind, professional, and his piercing room was extremely clean and sterile. I would highly recommend getting pierced by Stefan if you are looking for a body piercer. He definitely knows his stuff, is caring, and was very gentle.

Obsessed with Maria Tash. From the moment I walked in, I was in awe of the design and how helpful the staff was. The pieces are stunning and well priced. I’m obsessed with my invisible studs and got a couple new piercings as well. The facilities were incredibly clean and the piercers were very professional and experienced. I loved how I was consulted on building the perfect look for each ear and how patient they were with me as I wanted to see all the pieces. I won’t go anywhere else now, especially bc the pieces are really unique.

Update:Myrna (the manager of retail in the US) reached me and explained me what happened and promised me that they would do everything to make sure this operational mistake would never happen again to any costumer. They got me the diamond piece and they booked a time for us. Everything was perfect and the most important part is that my sister was súper happy with its new piece!Terrible! It can be considered a fraud but I let you judge. We came from another country and it was a must stop for my sister due to personal reasons. My sister choosed a belly button piece and everything seemed normal. They where selling the piece as diamonds and the total due was of $840 USD. My dad was going to pay half of it so he arrived and start asking how could we be sure they were real diamons. We asked for a certificate and they answered they didn’t have a certifícate because the diamonds were too small, but they said they had a diamond tester and we can use it. As a surprise the tester showed they were not real diamonds. They used excuses as “they are soo small that the tester touches metal and that is why it is not working.” “Of course they are real, who thinks they are not?” “Nobody asks us to test them”.We ask them to try it on another real diamond piece and the tester worked. They started talking to each other and whispering and finally they told us that they were not diamonds and they were zircons. At this point we were really upset and we told them that they were committing fraud. We told them that if we didn’t discover this we would have paid full price and go with a piece made out with zircons. They said that in that case they would have given us the money back and that they were so glad that “they discovered this mistake.” I replied they didn’t do it, we did! And once we left that store there was no way we could knew about this fraud (or mistake as they called it). Because we trusted in the brand of Maria Tash. At the end they said it was not their fault and it was operations fault because they placed wrong a QR code. To finish with these terrible experience they didn’t had available the “real diamond piece”, they were not going to have it for several months. They didn’t offered any significant discount (despite the manager of the store was present), or any other action to fix this “mistake” but it looked more as a fraud for us.
