I just had 2 piercings with Penny! I have an odd ear shape which means interesting shape to work with! She chose the perfect pieces of triangle ball studs and a connector chain. She had so much excitement about my unique ear shape and being able to do a one of a kind piercing. Penny is also training an apprentice which I got to experience her training skills as well, telling Andrea why she was placing everything the exact way she was doing it. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire visit with the whole staff today. We had lots of laughs about life while distracting me from the pain moments. I can’t recommend Ancient Adornments enough for all your needs.

I truly adore the professionalism of this location. Ive been coming here for almost a decade and have always had a positive experience. Shout out to Penny for being phenomenal. She is so kind, and gentle, and such an expert at what they do. I would recommend her to anyone!

My first time here was a great experience! Stephanie did an awesome job with my left eyebrow piercing, and she was super friendly throughout the whole thing.The lobby was really clean and had a cool, all-white vibe. When I walked in, they asked me what I wanted, and they showed me some jewelry options. I was allowed to check them out next to the spot I wanted pierced.😊Once I filled out the paperwork, I headed into a room with Stephanie, and the process was so pleasant and I love the look!Huge thanks, and you can bet Ill be coming back for more piercings from Stephanie! 😄

Bruce did an incredible job. I had 2 lobes pierced and he walked me through every step from start, finish, and post care. Super empathetic and kind. I will be going back for a nose piercing in future. All members of staff were welcoming and professional.

Trevor is amazing!! he did an excellent job talking me through the procedure before doing anything, and the actual piercing was pretty quick. he’s a perfectionist, which is exactly the kind of person you want aligning and doing the piercings.they have a good selection of solid gold and white gold jewelry options for ears, but hardly any septum hoop options.there are no appointments, and it’s best if you go on a weekday in the middle of the day. after 5:30pm it gets busier because people are off work. i didn’t have to wait at all, but the front desk said that saturday often has 2 hour waits and people have to wait outside. they keep the door locked and only let a few people in at a time.

I was pierced by Bruce; a true professional . He was diligent, and so helpful calming me down before my piercing. The shop was very clean, the service was great, and they had a large array of jewelry to pick from!

I walked in to get a flat piercing and also re-open my ear lobe piercings that have closed a little. The girl who helped me at the front was friendly and answered all my questions. She was super knowledgeable and made it a pleasant experience.The piercer herself added the flat piercing to the perfect spot and I’m super happy with how it turned out. Wish I added this a long time ago!Great quality jewelry selection too.

This place is rad and has beautiful jewelry! Super efficient place, I am here for a long weekend and I lost jewelry from a piercing that would close up rather quick without something in it. For emergency jewelry they had something in my price range and I was in/out in 15 mins! Would definitely recommend.

I really love Stephanie because she was so efficient and fast doing my piercing. I really would recommend her. Shes been doing piercings for 5years. I love the service she gave me in none to little time I was there. I got my conch repierced , my 2nd hole on my right ear and a nose piercing. I just got my navel piercing there and I loved it! I think my the girl that did it for me was is called Steph, 0/10 pain, and a great vibe! The girl in the reception was super nice too but I couldn’t ask her name cause my mom was with me and she wasn’t that happy with my piercing lmao, but it was a great experience! Thank you so much!

Ive had most of my ear piercings done at ancient adornments in West Hollywood. Everyone is so nice there and the selection of gold jewelry is great. All of my piercings heal with no issues at all.

This is such a great place! They have an amazing jewelry selection. The staff was friendly and answered my millions of questions. My piercer was penny & she was extremely friendly & informative. She made sure to let me know all about aftercare and how to avoid infections. Im definitely coming here for all future piercings

9 month update: 5 stars to 3. Im not sure being told I did not need a floating navel was wholly correct. And in hindsight I should have asked to be directly pierced by the person more familiar with navel piercings. Piercing healed okay-ish once I got a disc for the piercing bump; and it seems a bit shallow, but it is very crooked. Very. The bar was also not checked for downsizing when I visited for follow up, even though I directly requested it because it was snagging. Being familiar with APP standards and this being the only fully APP shop Ive been to, honestly the experience is odd. Super nice staff though.---Original review:Absolutely gorgeous location. I felt like I was in a waiting room in heaven--no exaggeration. Theres a reception area and streamlined health & safety form. Everyone was as bright and friendly as the decor, and easy to talk to. I couldnt figure out how they got the minimalism to feel so warm and the lights so bright without being headache-inducing.I walked-in for a navel piercing after my local piercer informed me they were out of the jewelry I would need for a floating navel. Here, they were prepared to make the jewelry needed. Then, they took a look and saw I actually had the proper anatomy for a regular navel, fully explaining to me why. That definitely re-sold me on going to APP-certified piercers. I was pierced by Matilda and the process was quick and easy. After the initial pinch I was really surprised the area didnt hurt at all. Its the next day, and still no pain, irritation, or discomfort whatsoever.Also, definitely a queer-friendly location!

This place is absolutely amazing everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable, and it’s very clean. They have a wide selection of jewelry that’s good quality and won’t easily fall out of your nose. I’ve been here twice, the first time I thought I needed to get my nose pierced again because I got it done previously somewhere else and my piercer realized the hole was still opened and was nice enough to waive the piercing fee. The second time I went back for a hoop but didn’t really like it and Matilda was so incredibly understanding and told me she didn’t want me leaving with it if I wasn’t happy. She took her time with me and help me look for something I felt more comfortable with she was great. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Such an awesome place that offered a wonderful and fun experience! I came from out of town and stumbled across the shop a day before we headed home. When I called ahead of time, I was met with Sabrina, who made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions patiently and kindly! After arriving at the shop, I was greeted warmly by staff, a clean and beautiful atmosphere, and was checked in and pierced within 35 minutes (I walked in without an appointment). My piercer was Trevor and I literally had the best time ever!! He made me feel so comfortable/safe, involved with the whole process, and treated me with so much kindness, it felt more like hanging out with a friend than getting a piercing! The entire process that I was extremely nervous for (as Im usually pretty antsy with needles and only had two piercings before this), felt like it was over in a matter of seconds! He was so respectful, funny, and made my anxiety lesson immediately within the first few minutes of our meeting. I cannot recommend this shop and his services enough! For me, I’d gladly make the 4 1/5 hour drive again, and do all my future piercings here:))

Definitely a top notch place! Great people, good vibe, clean space. Im from out of town (Cincinnati) and had to look up a good spot for piercings. My 7-year-old got her lobes reopened, 17 year old got a septum, I got a helix, and Edgar did all our piercings. My sister is coming back to get one of her piercings fixed. We really enjoyed ourselves! The lady who helped us check in and pick our earrings was AMAZING!!!VERY SATISFIED AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! Great experience with this team and company.Thanks guys if youre reading this and for the accommodations, truly appreciate it! 🙏🏽P.S. We were walk-ins. 3 people ahead of us and we waited 30 mins. Got in and out pretty quickly, considering there were 3 of us, but never rushed even though they were busy.

I have made several attempts to get in to this facility but they had always had a line or waitlist. Finally a few weeks ago I was able to get inside. The staff was very friendly, informative and accommodating. It was very clean and comfortable. I had my nipple piercings stretched to a larger gauge.Unfortunately the jewelry broke (the pin snapped off the balls on the end of my barbells) within a couple of weeks, one of them required being re-stretched (ouch!) the other was easily replaced. They replaced one of the pieces of jewelry but I had to pay for part of the second piece since I did not have the shaft of the barbell that had broken. The price was reasonable, just frustrating to have to pay again. Hoping the new pieces stay intact.The piercer that I worked (terrible with names but I think Trevor?) with both times was very friendly, professional but personable and seemed to have a good deal of experience and knowledge.

Brought my daughter here for her bday from atl. She got a nose piercing and she is in love! First off, the staff was so nice and welcoming! Loved all the jewelry, they have so many cute options! If you’re looking for a good quality piercing I recommend this place. The price wasn’t bad either!

Such a great first body piercing experience with Penny. I had a nipple piercing session and I was nervous because my friend convinced me to get it spontaneously. Penny provided laughter, made me totally comfortable, and the confidence of her work was fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

Went in to get an apadravya piercing and was expecting it to hurt like hell, but not too bad at all thanks to the gentle hands of Ms. Penny. Never had a piercing besides my ears and Penny made this piercing experience a great one. If you get Penny consider yourself lucky!

I’ve gotten three piercings here now and honest to god would never even think of going elsewhere. The staff is so, so nice and knowledgeable and they make everything easy and comfortable (even when needles are involved!) I truly can’t recommend this place enough. Listen!!! Penny is aaammmaazinggg!!! I’m very particular about symmetry and I’ve literally had some of the same piercings taken out and pierced over. I was worried about being looked at as “the annoying picky client” but she made me soooo comfortable and ensured me that she totally understood how I felt about my piercings being symmetrical.She’s very patient, kind and gave me honest opinions which anyone could appreciate! I came around 1 1/2 hours before closing (luckily I came before they stopped taking walk-ins) and I was pierced around 15 minutes before closing. I understand working under crunch time but my piercing felt very rushed. The piercer was sweet and the 3 staff that were at the front of the store were kind as well but I did not feel comfortable. I wasnt asked to look at the placement before it was pierced and she had to go into another room while blood was left running on my ear instead of being prepared with gauze.I have more than enough ear piercings but I feel like this doesnt excuse not fully walking through what youre doing during the piercing process. I dont know if she was a new piercer or what but this experience really turned me off compared to other APP piercings spots and even tattoo shops Ive been to.

Had the most incredible experience here! The staff where all so friendly and ready to help! I went in not sure what to expect, and had the best experience yet. I got new jewelry for existing piercings and they happily cleaned them and put them in for me, blessing! When it came time to getting my piercings done they made me feel incredibly comfortable, explained how everything would be done and they where incredibly thorough with everything, cleaning, placement, everything. Id highly recommend this place to EVERYONE! added bonus, parking was easy and free and there was no wait!

I got pierced today by Rice and was also helped by Penny they were both absolutely professional, super laid-back and good-natured. There was a long wait-time due to them being super busy, but I definitely recommend coming here. It is worth the wait. Looking forward to coming back.

Wow! Let me say that this is one of the best piercings shops I have been to. Inside is clean and simple. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry to choose from. Stephanie did my third earlobe and one conch. She was professional, friendly, and incredibly informative. The jewelry is pricey, but it is great quality! I came at a good time and had no issues finding parking, but I would recommend arriving a little early incase you encounter a parking issue.

This place is great everyone is really professional. The place is surgically clean which is important. I received recommendations regarding jewelry gauges and diameters because of the biological geography, and they answered all my questions. I know Roger and was pierced at Gauntlet back in the day. Today Marcello was my piercer and he was very chill and kept me at ease. He even answered questions I had after I got home. If you are interested or have any questions call or go in and talk. Everyone here is great!

Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. I didnt feel like I was bothering them. They also explain every step of the process to make sure you understand what is happening. It also looks very clean in there. I really recommend it. I got a septum piercing btw.

I’d recommend Bruce and Ancient Adornments to anyone I know. I had an appointment tonight for an ear piercing.( I haven’t gotten a piercing since I was a kid.) Bruce was patient and explained every step of the process. He’s a professional and I could tell that his focus was to make sure I was satisfied with the end product. I know an ear piercing is pretty simple but I say, “how you do one thing is how you do everything.” I didn’t have to read his profile on the shop’s website to pick up that he has years of experience. Five star experience.

Very professional, friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff. The shop is very clean and they have a large selection of jewelry on hand for all types of piercings and modifications. There was a good amount of people when I went in, but they efficiently got through all the customers while spending enough time with everybody so no one felt rushed. I highly recommend this piercing studio over random shops where piercing is not their specialty. Play it safe and go for the best.

I got my nose pierced a while back at a different studio but was having a lot of trouble healing it (pretty big bump on the piercing and still a little tender close to three months after the original piercing). The entire staff was so friendly and helpful! They explained why I was having so much trouble with it and why a change of jewelry would help. They changed out the jewelry quickly and virtually painlessly (again, my nose was still tender). They then explained the best way to clean it to get rid of the bump and again...WHY I should clean it that way. Anyway, I was happy to see how willing they were to help me out even though they didnt pierce me. Overall, I found the staff all to be very friendly, helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be recommending this place to any friends wanting to get pierced!

I originally found Ancient Adornments on the APP website when I first moved to CA - and now through experience I would not recommend anyplace else. I have had nothing but the best service at both locations.I came out to this location to get a sensitive area pierced and had the best experience with Marcelo. He was knowledgeable, experienced, patient and extremely professional. I felt 100% comfortable the entire time. I will definitely be making it back in soon.

I received excellent customer service, the piercer was clearly knowledgeable, polite and exceptionally patient with me as I attempted to navigate the store to find the appropriate jewelry.I have several piercings and am pretty familiar with the process of changing jewelry/scoping out new pieces, etc. I was very excited to visit Ancient Adornments for the wide selection of quality jewelry! When I arrived I was asked to put my name on a wait list to be seen, but I had no idea that I would be waiting for over an hour. There are no prices listed anywhere in the store, or online, so I had a lot of questions for the piercer after scouring the store for over an hour during my wait...That said, make sure you budget time to visit this establishment. I spent a total of 2 hours here just to change an existing jewelry piece in my ear.

I was looking for a good place to reduce the size of my stretched ears and Roger and his assistant did such an amazing job! I was very nervous but it ended up being a painless experience, the staff was funny and calm and made me feel right at home, and theyre healing up perfectly! I love my new, smaller lobes. Would recommend this shop to anyone!

Went on a three-generation fam adventure to get my daughters ears pierced for her eighth birthday. Penny was phenomenal, explaining everything that was happening, and all of us had an unforgettable experience. Just now got back from getting my navel pierced. Great place! Very professional service. My piercer was a very skilled and friendly young lady. I thought at minimum maybe itd feel like a mosquito bite but I felt no pain whatsoever during the procedure. Zero! Nada! Still, she kept checking on me throughout to make sure I was ok. Absolutely wonderful customer service! If you hate pain and you hate needles and you want to get a piercing (or 20) this is the place to go hands down. The place carries a beautiful and varied stock of ear & body piercing jewelry. Parking and entrance in the back. Will definitely go back to this place to get my ears curated. Im generally too lazy to post reviews, but I was just so pleased with the service here that I had to post!

I booked an appointment to remove the dermal on my chest and Stephanie took me in. The room was very clean and no one else was around. She was very professional and removed my dermal with ease! I was so happy with the service , i will definitely be going back for my future piercings.

A week ago I went to this place to get an earlobe piercing. Penny received me and did the piercing. The entire operation took less than a minute. It was only after I got back home did I notice that the piercing was crooked and it looks very uneven from the other ear. I tried sleeping on it to see if Id feel ok with it the next day. I decided that it positively bothered me. So Ive trying to call them for a week now to reach a resolution. At different times of the day on different days, 10 plus calls later no one ever answered the phone. Their voice-mail is full so cant leave a message either. Its extremely disappointing to not spend 5 extra seconds in the first place to ensure the most basic of piercing jobs is done correctly, then its even more unprofessional to not let customers reach out to you. The customer service is really nonexistent

I spent a good amount of time choosing the earnings I wanted. The staff got overwhelmed with walk-ins. I told the sales lady I would come back in just a few so she could deal with the onslot.when I came back in 12 mins she wouldnt let me back in and said I had to get on a wait list. Never going back.

Their pieces are beautiful and definitely one of a kind, employees seem nice but I was left waiting with my toddler for 33min JUST to purchase a nose ring.Total lack of communication before, during and after my purchase. I bought it just to feel like my waiting wasn’t a total waste of time but left having felt like it was terrible experience. Maybe the one in Westwood is better. Also parking lot is small, packed and tough to find metered or street parking.

Bambi is the best! Friendly and helpful, with excellent quality services and beautiful jewelry at reasonable prices. Staff gave a warm welcome, sharing all options with no pressure. The selection was perfectly placed, with barely a twinge of pain. The environment was also spotlessly sterile without feeling cold.

My husband and I went here together. They were very professional. Talked us through what would happen and how to care for the new piercing. They even have you come back in a month to check on how the piercing is healing. We were very impressed and recommend them to anyone wanting a piercing.

I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because they are really odd about booking/shopping. If you want to just pop by and buy some jewelry you have to wait outside until there’s no one in there? Or make an appointment. Even if no one is in the shop area. At the end of the day though they have good jewelry and great piercers. The front desk is very young and tbh a bit irritating, but that could have been from the wait to just buy one piece of jewelry. Very clean and profesional otherwise! They did have googley eyes on their thermometer which was cute.

Very professional, helpful, and friendly! Definitely pricey but well worth it for something going into your body. They even do a free check up for you a month later. After getting my first piercings done with a gun in a mall claires Im glad I got my second one done properly here. :p

Added a second lobe and helix for now but had an overall good experience. Shop is very clean and everything that needs to be sterilized(including jewellery) is and pouches are opened in front of clients. Everyone was very nice and there was plenty of things to choose from, the only reason Im leaving out a star is because I got passed on the wait list. The shop doesnt do appointments so that everyone has equal opportunity, like first come first serve basis, which I totally understand but unfortunately they got a little flustered. I was greeted, told to sign in and then picked jewellery soon after but after a while I noticed that the girl up front never gave me any paperwork and that she had called a lot of people(most that came after me). I checked the list myself and surely enough I was scribbled out, they were very nice when they realized the mistake but they never offered me anything for letting a good ten others go before I did and I still had to wait another twenty minutes. I would recommend coming as early as you can and probably parking on the street around the corner where its 2hrs free just so you dont feel crunched for time. Jewellery can be a bit pricey(especially real gold/diamond pieces) but the actual piercings were about average price. Ultimately worth it in the end, piercers know what theyre doing and the jewellery is something that you need to keep in for a while so I think it was worth it too.

I went into Adornments Body Piercing to have my nose re pierced after getting it done incorrectly. the piercer was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and had really cute body jewelry. I have a uneven nose; and she was able to pierce it correctly and make it look straight! I loved my experience n recommend it =)

Roger saved my life. Im currently going through chemotherapy and somehow my piercing got infected. He expertly dealt with it and got that piercing out! I was so relieved!! I had been in a lot of pain for a few days and could barely touch the piercing without wincing. This was an infection that could have festered into something potentially deadly for me.Roger told me about his experience with heavy body modification and piercing for many years and his confidence really put me at ease.Thank you so much Roger!!! Youre the best!Ill be back when Im ready for some cool piercings.

This place is amazing! This is the first time I had been here. I had an issue with my septum ring (which Ive had for over twenty years). The gap in my continuous ring had gotten stuck up in my septum and it was really swollen. Bruce helped me remove my ring without damaging my jewelry and then rethread my septum a gauge down to let it heal up and get less swollen. He was extremely patient, cautious, and worked with me through all my options. Wonderful caring and professional place. I will be giving them all my business from here on out!

Great place! Extremely clean and neat. Organized and professional but still very laid back. They make and sell their own jewelry so some of the prices can be a teeny bit expensive but it is Los Angeles. They are very competitive and I chose them over a few other places and Im very happy I did

I called in a panic as my wife (who is going through chemo) has a piercing that became very swollen. The staff were so helpful, without knowing us and gave caring attention and sage advice for our dilemma. We will be visiting them as soon as the swelling goes down to get the piercing removed. I cant express enough how much it means during these times to deal with compassionate people. Thank you thank you thank you.

Very friendly, very professional. I got my third set of lobe piercings here and I wish Id known about it for the last pair. The piercing technique used here is (in my experience) nearly painless and unlikely to get infected. My body is prone to infections from even small things, so my second pair of piercings were constantly irritated for over a year - not so here. I would definitely recommend Ancient Adornments to anyone whos looking to get a piercing, whether its your first or your fiftieth.

Literally pain-free and they were SO nice. I even got a free chocolate bar haha. I got my flat pierced and they completely disinfected the area and even put my earring in an autoclave to sterilize it! Super impressed and will be going back.

Had septum pierced here about nine months ago. Recently was hospitalized and had to remove ring. After finally recovering, came back here to get re-pierced (assuming hole had closed during two months ring was out). Staff cheerfully offered to put old ring back in if hole still open -- it was, they put my septum ring back in, and it was all FREE OF CHARGE.These gals/guys are the best, most professional and knowledged people in the business!

I came here Yesterday and was completely appalled by the way that I was treated by the staff after writing a review the staff has begin to leave fake comments under my own business which is very cowardly rather than addressing the issue at hand. This place is completely unprofessional and not representative of the community of West Hollywood. How do I know it is the staff making the reviews because they’ve all gone up within the last few hours which is quite coincidental when we have a an amazing track record with the community so it really doesn’t matter we’ve been here for years. But I’m going to continue to document the behavior of this business also let it be known this is not a place you want to frequent terrible energy I would never have someone put a hole in me pierce me with this type of low vibrational energy.

Probably the best piercing shop Ive been too. The staff was very helpful and kind. I was really nervous to get pierced at first but they made me feel way more calm.

This is the only place I’ll go for a piercing. They are so knowledgeable on all things piercing. They are able to diagnose issues with crazy precision. I came in with concern for a bump around my earlobe piercing: wasn’t sure if it was a pimple or early keloid. I forget his name, but a younger guy (with super cool ear piercings) was able to tell that it was just irritation from me sleeping on it. I also just recently started sleeping on my piercing. He’s like a f’n doctor. Only come to this place for piercings

I accidentally scheduled it for the wrong location and cancelled. When I found out that it was still set, Bruce was super cool about helping me. Honestly I wish I went even though it’s further away from me, they seem like awesome people.

Penny was so great! Did my double helix, my boyfriend’s cartilage, and my other boyfriend’s lobes, all 3 look great!

My daughter was so excited to have her eras pierced. What we we love the most is that they have customer service in ESPAÑOL so that was an HUGE ➕️. I highly recommend 👌 them.

I called before I went and inquired about a nose ring. Girl told me they start at $10. Once I hit there I was told$75. I asked what happen to the $10? And was shown ugly rings with balls. I felt she told me $10 to get me to come and the price was rally $75. Ladys there are Rude and have Bad customer service. Everyone was outside smoking cigarettes when I arrived. I would not recommend this places

Earlier they had told me its walk in. I called right before i left to make sure if this was the case, but no one answered or followed up. When I got there it wasclosed, no more walk ins. An hour wasted

I have come here on multiple occasions, I have had many different piercings and I have never had an infection from here. Which is a big deal because I am prone to infections.
