I have been going to Born Lucky Tattoo Studio for a very long time now on NUMEROUS occasions throughout the years and I only trust them to tattoo or pierce me. They are amazing people and the most talented and amazing artists!!! Their professionalism and kindness and great conversation during the process makes the time spent there a pleasure always which is why I have gone there so many times. The time and effort that is put into their clients is absolutely phenomenal!! Plus their prices are great and I recommend that everyone go to Born Lucky for all their tattoos and piercing needs!! 🤩🙌😁

I truly enjoyed my first tattoo experience at Born Lucky. I came in with a graphic design, and Rene took the time to go over it with me. As a professional tattoo artist for about two decades, he was able to explain how the design would look on my skin. He gave me some advice, which I truly appreciated. I felt comfortable while he worked on my arm, and found him to be knowledgeable and funny. I love my first tattoo, and am already thinking of doing another one soon at Born Lucky.

My daughter and husband each got tattoos here and they turned out beautiful. Very reasonably priced as well.

I got a venom tongue piercing it hurts its irritated nothing helps with the pain i contacted them they told me to take it out and get repierced they witn refund my money or replace it with another service i would not recommend them to anyone

I got the eyebrow piercing it was fast and easy- 100% recommend getting it done here

I’ve been looking for tattoo ideas since I was getting my first ink, but didn’t have any real good ideas. I went into the studio to see Rene and he had the vision to come up with a real nice Tattoo, and he gave me plenty of options. He was very professional, and very courteous. I will definitely be seeing him for my next tattoo.

I took my daughter to get her nose pierced, very bad experience, the had to try it three times cause they weren’t able to get it set right and later during the day it fell off, we had to go to another place to get it redone, where we were told the piercing was not rhetorical right size and it was crooked and that on top of that we were overcharged ($52) when it should’ve been no more than $30. I don’t recommend this place!

We were visiting our friend down in Homestead Fla. Decided last minute to get matching tattoos .Renee hooked us up with some little turtles ...they came out great thank you so much.Trying to post a picture on here but cant seem to find how to do that .

Just got my first tattoo yesterday (wrist). I was so nervous and did not know what to expect, but Rob explained the process and made me feel at ease. The quality is outstanding. He absolutely knows what he is doing. I was amazed by the colors he used and how sexy beautiful and dainty he made it look. You will not be disappointed with his work. And the pricing was perfect. I will definitely be getting my other wrist done by him.

Rene just hooked me up with one of the meanest tribal tattoos today. His craft is amazing and on top of it, he covered up a tattoo of 34 years. I highly recommend him to anyone that’s looking for a expert tattoo artist…this dude is second to none!

I got a couple of pieces done here by Rob. First time, I walked in with my own design. I was in and out and less than an hour and a half. Rob executed it to perfection. I noticed that he took pride in his work, which is pretty critical for someone doing permanent body art for a living. Decided I’d ask him for help with the concept for my next piece. Came back a couple of weeks later for that. He developed a gorgeous concept for a custom piece. Even add a couple of suggested tweaks with no problem. Got it done and it came out wonderfully.If I have any complaint, it’s that my second time I had an appointment, and a previous job of his ran into my my appointment time by more than a little bit. But I’m not a hater. I can’t be mad at anybody for being in high demand. I still got it done happily. Just be smarter than me and don’t schedule tattoo appointments before you have other stuff scheduled to do 😂. AND I’D DO IT ALL AGAIN!

Amazing place!! He took his time and was so sweet and patient with my wife. He made us feel so welcomed and we had a great conversation the entire time. He is extremely detailed and his price was great for the amount of colors he used which was over 7. I am so turned on by my wifes foot that if it wasnt that my wife was so scared of tattoos and is so weak on pain Id have her go again. But who knows, she loves it so much she may want another one representing our daughters

Great spot and very reasonable prices. Rob did an unorthodox piece for me and was able to fit me in same day without an appointment. The prices are great and the work is exceptional. One of the best tattoo shops ive ever been in, i came here because i was unsatisfied with my tattoo from someone elses work and thanks to rob, he has helped me gain my confidence back with his work. i was 100% satisfied and i definitely will be coming back. thank you rob again !

I took my daughter here to get a nose piercing by the lady that works there. She was good quick and simple.Fast forward we went a second time and got a tattoo by Rob worst thing we could have done the tattoo looked nice the first day. A flower Tattoo with butterflies filled in with color. After a day or two my arm was itching really bad, I started getting bumps, like a rash. My skin was so irritated I ended up going to the doctor I was worried about an infection or allergic reaction. I have over 30 tattoos I have never experienced that before. As far as my daughter She didn’t have the same skin reaction as me. She got a simple line tattoo by Rob. Once her tattoo healed we noticed that the lines were gone on parts of the tattoo we were not surprised by that point but hella disappointed, waste of time ,and money. I wouldn’t go back or recommend him. I did call him to let him know what happened and he offered to fix it but we were to scared to take the chance of him messing up again. After all of that we ended up going back to our old tattoo artist to redo it. We only went to Rob spur of the moment and he was close to our house (never again)!!!! I should have stopped him when I saw roaches crawling around as I was already in the chair getting my tattoo done. Stay away ! I tried to give the benefit of doubt but screw that always go with your gut feeling! This place is dirty !! they need to clean it, upgrade the shop and get some new tattoo artist!!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It was my first time getting a tattoo here. They came highly recommended and I totally got to experience why. Rob was my artist; he was AMAZING! Very friendly, he understood what I wanted, my style, my colors... I gave him my vision and he gave me the WOW Factor. He was patient, and made me feel super comfortable I even asked him to complete my tattoo within a certain timeframe and he did. Simply the best!! Love this place, I think this studio will totally see me very often. This was my unbiased opinion, I dont know them, was my very first encounter and I was very HAPPY! Thanks Rob!! 💛

Very professional, my daughter got her nose pierced for the first time. The lady that attended her explained everything and made sure if my daughter had any questions. After she was very thorough with the instructions of care for her piercing. Great experience.

I went in for 3 piercings and Mickey was the best. I have experience with piercings and piercers and she is best I came across so far. Loved the service and loved how gentle she was, piercings are already painful so you need someone that’s gentle. She even covered up my previous belly piercing scar with the new one. 10 star 🙌

I went to pierce my ears and It was a great experience. Mickey did a great job, very clean and was very sweet and polite. She also explained to me all the details to take care of it with a paper sharing the instructions. Im definitely going back to get a tattoo.Highly recommended.

Went to get a little stick figure tat that is meaningful to me. Rob did an excellent job and was had excellent customer service. Price was definitely reasonable. It did get a little crowded, but thats probably just because they do such good work.

Had the best time! Took my son in so him and I could get tats together. It was his first. ROB was just the best! Love the look of the tattoos and he was just awesome to us. Place was clean and welcoming.

Got my nosed pierced about 1 month ago. I was very impressed with the process. I was informed of aftercare procedures and have not experienced any discomfort, redness or infection. The stud they put in is good quality and very easy to manage. I highly recommend for piercings!

Renee and Mickey are awesome. We didnt have appointments, it was New Years day and when we walked in late in the evening they were more than willing to do our tattoos til after their closing time. Our tattoos are amazing, the colors are fantastic. Love these guys. See you the next time were in Florida.

Three of us came in not knowing they were closed, we are new to te area, to ask for prices and he offered to do them right then for us all! My friend got her first tattoo that night and he was very good with comforting her! He also laughed at my not so funny humor which I enjoyed thoroughly! The prices are great as well as the service. I just got my nose pierced for the 3rd time. The first 2 times were elsewhere and very pain full. It was not as bad this time around. Mickey was very helpful and very good at piercing. Would recommend to anyone.

Came in to get a piercing and the woman who pierced me was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. She explained what she was doing as she was doing it, made sure I liked the placement, and made my experience there great.

The first day i went to get my nose piercing the short ugly guy and the piercer were so nice. My ring was to small for my for my nose so i went back they gave the nasties attitude because i was asking questions about my nose. They kicked me out the shop and didn’t do anything about it. Do not go to them they are rude, nasty, shop smells bad i see why they don’t get a lot of customers. Do not go to this shop go somewhere else.

The wife and 2 brothers went to key largo this past week for vacation. My brothers and I wanted to get a tattoo to memorialize our father who was a marine and died of cancer in 2011. We called his shop around 7 pm and asked if we could come and get tattoos. He was out having dinner but texted us when he returned to the shop. We got there and I asked him for a tattoo which he drew up and tattooed. He took his time and did an AWESOME job shading and coloring. My other 2 brothers also got tattoos that night and he didnt mind staying up and open until 3 AM! Great job and very happy with our tats.. Wish I lived closer for more work, but were in NY. Maybe next trip to Florida Ill stop by! Thanks again!

Went to get my daughters nose pierced and after calling twice about her age and availability (Was told to bring her birth certificate and my ID) and driving to the shop with an appointment, was then told no because of her age. I was told to leave rudely and when I tried to explain I called multiple times about it and was told ok. He then refused to let me talk to the “supervisor” and said he’d call the cops for asking to talk to her. He told me to google the law. Well I did buddy.... and at her age parent or legal guardian needed. I have a screen shot if you need it. Good job!

A++ for Mickeys ability for lettering, she blew me away. SO NATURALLY, I had to go back. This time i went back to get a tattoo i did somewhere else covered up. Did my cover-up tattoo with Rene and it came out BEAUTIFUL. So freaking in love with it, its my favorite tattoo. Even though I made it difficult with all my crazy and illogical demands, Rene still took the time to focus in and deliver thee most beautiful cover up. This place has waaay too much talent and skill. Will definitely get all my tats here. And so should you! You wont regret it!

Had a great experience, owners and enployees keep the place clean and professional. Not the type of place where some fool is gonna be outside smokin a black and cursin out his baby momma on the phone. Got my tongue pierced by Mickey, who knew exactly what she was doing, will definitely be back for any piercing or tattoo service that i need!

Been wanting for a while a new tattoo with my husband; place is extremely clean and with the right atmosphere,great service and patience,the artists lets you take your time to decide, and he also envisions how your new tat will look on a distant future. Great prices and does his job swiftly.

Complete and utter waste of my time. I read all the great views they had and the fact that they close at 7 so I decided to go to them for my piercing. I wasted all this time driving with their OPEN sign fooling me because no one answered the door. BOTH the numbers provided on the door and website seemed to go straight to voicemail. The door was locked and there was some sort of doorbell to ring in which still did not do anything. I wish I could have also posted an excellent review of them.

READ ALL BAD REVIEWS GUYS !!!!! I just recently reported this place to the small business bureau . Literally tried to rip my piercing out instead of helping me unscrew the piercing like a normal professional she never seen a flat back thread less piercing before so she tried to rip the darn thing out !!!! So if your a beautiful girl or lady she will try to ruin your body or face with her unprofessional manner . NOW I HAVE DAMAGED SCARE TISSUE FROM HER TRYING TO RIP MY PIERCING OUT . P.s Black stuff on lip is dried blood !!!!!! She made a 3 year old piercing Bleed !!!!!! I have 2 anchor dermal piercings under my eye so my pain tolerance is good but she almost had my running out the chair !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like come on really ? The photo don’t lie that’s clearly damaged irritated scare tissue she caused.

The lady that does the piercings at first was very friendly but then she was so rude. Not helpful at all . I’ve never encountered a rude person at a tattoo shop. Ever! Also very dirty place , non of them were wearing masks . Nor enforcing customers to wear them . Very unprofessional .

My daughter went there for a septum piercing and they did it so low to the point she can’t flip it in for her job and it got infected, plus they over charged her. DO NOT go there to get a piercing. I would give it a no star if that was an option.

These people have terrible attitudes ... Its like they want your money but dont have the patience to answer your questions. I basically got denied a piercing cause I asked too many questions.. Whats wrong about wanting to be informed. Why the hell would you have a business if you dont know how to work with different people especially one thats based on something so personal . Theres no such thing as a stupid question just a person who needs to be informed.

My girlfriend and I came to Florida for our vacation and wanted to get tattoos for a Lifetime souvenir of our trip.. I got my last tattoo 14 years ago and the guy screwed it up bad so I have been extremely hesitant to get another one.. we searched by reviews and they had great reviews, we knew what tattoos we wanted and where we wanted them.. after 15 minutes of talking with them i was immediately comfortable, they were very polite, professional and personable, end result was the best tattoo I have ever gotten.. we both love our tattoos, I highly recommend born lucky tattoos if you want a tattoo that you will be proud to show off!!!

Went in there to ask general information and was not acknowledged for about 20 minutes, we saw about 3 employees walk around and no one greeted us. When asking the question the attitude was very negative. Looked at the work on pictures and it seems good quality but the service was far from desirable.

They were very helpful and so nice 😌👍Ill definitely recommend this placeI went to get my septum and Miky who did my piercing made me feel so comfortable through the whole process.

Very bad service. Piercing lady not professional at all . Seems very entitled. Will not be going again. Also very over priced for piercings. While others charge 20$ for nose piercing she charges 35$!!!

I went over there to get a piercing nobody was available to do piercing until 7 oclock. Then I called them up after getting home to ask them what time they close and they kept hanging up on me they literally picked up the phone and kept hanging up. I even had someone start talking to me and then hanging up on me

I REQUESTED A SIMPLE CIRCLE THE SIZE OF A QUARTER WITH 3 LETTER INSIDE OF IT WHEN MY TATTOO FINALLY HEALED IT WAS SO SLOPPY THAT THE NAME WAS UNRECOGNIZABLE ITS BUNCHED UP TOGETHER I WENT BACK AND I WAS TOLD I HAD TO PAY $50 FOR A TOUCH UP ON A TATTOO THAT THE FEMALE TATTOO ARTIST DIDNT DO RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING SMDFH
