Just moved to new York so I had no idea where to go to get my nose ring changed out. This was the first shop to come up when I googled and Im glad it was. The shop is very clean and artistic looking. The man who took my nose ring out was very polite and professional. I would suggest checking them out.

I came in 5 days after making what I thought was the biggest mistake of my life. Nate was knight in shining Armour and produced the cover up I was so desperately looking for. He was nice, professional, and helped to ease the heavy vibe that I brought with me. I cannot be more pleased and grateful for the experience and the artwork I walked away with. I got my one (and only) tattoo here about three years ago when I was in college. The 1 x 1.5 tattoo I got cost $80 and I was unhappy the moment the work was done. Everyone Ive talked to (including heavily tattooed friends, family and colleagues) have told me I was ripped off.The artwork was crooked, lacked crisp edges and quickly faded. Knowing I wont be getting any other tattoos, Im currently in the process of having it removed via laser treatment.Their larger tattoo pieces might be better, or they cater to established clients, but I was not impressed with this place then and am definitely not now.Im speaking from personal experience hopefully to save someone the trouble of spending $1K+ on tattoo removal.

Dave did an amazing job on tattoos for my husband and myself. Professional, personable, and the ink came out amazing. He gave great advice for after care which ensured an easy healing process for us, and generally I couldnt recommend him enough!

Excellent all around! The pictures are after six months of healing. And the way it healed, it shows how well these tattooers know their craft. (Lower back, partially on the side.)I came in November with some digital sketches I made for the tattoo I wanted. Nate and Dave there helped me for several weeks whenever I would pop back in, just to help tweak my design to be more tattoo-friendly -- make this part hazier, bring out the smile wider to see it from a distance, stylize the tree for a more interesting piece, etc. They gave me real solid points, all the while being really patient and supportive of my participation in the artwork process.After some time I got it done in two quick 2-hour sessions with Dave. The price for the time is well worth the final product! Im really pleased with how it turned out, considering I went in with a pretty well defined sketch of what I wanted that I thought was great, with which Dave worked with to create a professional detailed, colored sketch that completely blew my expectations out of the ballpark. Hes certainly got an eye for tattooing. Im happy with the way he incorporated my original ideas while giving it his own spin to be a neater tattoo.Really, the part of the experience I loved the most was working with them to develop the artwork. They never pressured me to take it any particular direction, nor stamped an expiration date for when Id stop popping in to tweak the work. It really was a great experience.

My wife and I got matching tattoos for our Anniversary. Nate was awesome. This was my wifes first tattoo, and Nate was very patient in walking her through everything, and as she changed her mind a couple of times on size (even after placing on the stencil). Nate was funny and carried on a great conversation while performing out tattoos. They turned out perfectly, just how we wanted them! The studio was very clean, and the price was beyond reasonable. Went with some friends to a walk-in day and we arrived right at opening to make sure we could be seen. (Be sure to do that if you want to guarantee a spot!) Nate was so friendly and welcoming to us. We gave him our ideas and he immediately started getting ready. I told him this was my first tattoo and he made me feel very calm and relaxed the entire time. He made sure I was happy with the drawing completely and let me know I was able to change things if needed- he was very accommodating. It turned out better than I could have imagined, awesome shading and wrapped perfectly around my arm. Two of my friends had Dave for their tattoos and my other friend and I had Nate- we all had a great experience at the shop. Will definitely be back!!

I usually never write reviews but I feel strongly about this one. I came here 2 years ago and enjoyed my time with Dave and he gave me a decent tattoo. Me and 3 friends (all female) went a few weeks ago to get a celebratory tattoo after finishing grad school and we had Nate. I read good reviews about him so I was excited but I was let down right away. He was very submissive and acted like he had no time for us. He spent almost an hour sketching up a tattoo and kept making passive jokes about us being needy and asking a lot of questions. which is not a big deal since we are paying for his permanent work on our bodies. I went first, which I regret to this day, and Nate tattooed the sloppiest birdhouse tattoo on my arm. The lines are not straight and the shading is too dark. He was not friendly nor did he try to hold a conversation while tattooing me. My other friend got 2 tattoos by him and they were okay. But my other 2 friends ended up not getting any by him because of how uncomfortable they felt. Nate treated us very poorly and overcharged us for the lack of good work he did and his attitude towards us. I would not recommend going here if you are a woman because your voice will be seen as being needy. I look at my tattoo everyday and cant believe this cost me what it did. Please go somewhere else if you want to be treated with kindness.

I simply called for a ln estimate , a minimum price, starting price and the guy who answered says too many variables to give on the phoneI am just shopping around before coming in person to get a more accurate price.I may change the rating if I get one there and it comes out good

Super uncomfortable experience. Went here to get a tattoo on my wrist - showed up to my appt and the artist complained that he had to arrive 15 minutes earlier than usual to set up for me. I asked for a small cross on my wrist facing me. Artist put it upside down and I asked if he could have it face me. He gave an annoyed sigh and said it will be upside down to other people, calling me a devil worshipper. Ignored that comment and felt like I had to argue that it’s my tattoo that I wanted facing me. Put it on again and it was crooked. Asked if he would mind making it more straight - it’s only going to be something I look at for the rest of my life. After another annoyed sigh and saying “nothing in life is straight, even you’re a little curvy” he adjusted it. Honestly just a super awkward experience with too many uncomfortable comments. Put a $100 down for a deposit, artist said I had to pay another $20 but charged me $35. $135 for two small lines and too much attitude - you’re better off going somewhere else.

Dave was great, his technique was painless. He was very professional but personalable. Took is as walkins and did a great job on our tattoos. Highly recommend him to everyone.

I wanted to wait until it was healed up before I posted a picture and review, but I cannot say enough about Nate. This tattoo was really important for me, as it is for my grandmother who recently passed away. I was nervous about getting her favorite fishing lure tattooed on my arm because I wanted to make sure it turned out great. Nate took his time drawing this up, and it almost seemed like he made me take extra time to make sure the size and positioning was exactly how I wanted it. When it came to the tattoo itself, it came out amazing. I am so pleased with this, and couldnt think of anything I would have been done any different.

Nate is the only person I will ever go to. The work hes done for me turned out absolutely amazing. Hes always done everything he can to ensure I walk out of their door happy every time.

I just had my second great experience at Artistic Point. My first tattoo there was done by Ron, and my most recent was done by Nate. My cousin and I went in looking for advice and to set up an appointment to have some work done, and were pleasantly surprised that Nate was able to make time for us that day! He took our artwork and wording and put together the perfect design for us - it was everything we didnt know we wanted! He was very pleasant throughout the entire experience, and I couldnt be happier with his work. Will definitely go there again.

I can not love Nate enough! He’s done some pretty awesome work on my arm and foot then I had a tattoo party mishap with some one else and I trusted him to do the cover up. He was like a magician made the bad tattoo just disappear. He is super cool and the whole atmosphere is amazing. If you need work done go here and see Nate you will not be disappointed!

Their staff is very good. And they do a very good job of making earrings and they do it very well.

What makes this place special is not only the artists abilities, but how welcomed and comfortable you feel when you walk in. The shop is clean & bright, with original artwork all around. The artists know the job theyre doing, and love doing it; and it shows. My artist was Pretty Ron Wilson, who unfortunately has moved, but will be coming up for visits, I would highly recommend booking him when he is available. But, Nate is there too and he has such a great personality, theyre both amazing; as artists and people. You simply WILL NOT find a better place to get your first tattoo, cover up, fix up, addition, you name it, this is the place.

My cousin and I walked in without an appointment showed the guys some artwork and asked Nate to help us figure out how to place it. Came back two hours later for our appointment. Nate had put the art and wording together in a way we hadnt thought of and we loved it.The Shop itself is beautiful, clean and inviting. The guys are super nice and super talented. I got my first tattoo done by Nate at Artistic Point a few days ago and my experience was amazing. Nate suggested ideas to make my tattoo better and the tattoo itself turned out beautifully. The after care suggestions seem to be working great too. He was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

The first time I went to this shop was with a co-worker when she had her appointment . I was impressed with how fast the artist worked and how clean the lines of her piece looked when it was finished. For that reason I chose to go there when I was ready for another tattoo . Nate worked with me to tweak the design to look its best and I didnt have to wait very long to get in to get tattooed. He worked fast and was very easy to talk to while the work was being done . I am beyond pleased with the final piece and would 100% recommend this shop to anymore .

Nate made our experience great! He was very professional and quick doing piercings on two people in our group, and replacing jewelry on a third. He was very knowledgable and made sure that we understood everything that was happening, while keeping the nerves down. Highly highly recommend if you are looking for a piercing in Ithaca! (Im sure the tattooing experience is great as well, but havent experienced it for myself!)

I knew I was happy as soon as I left the shop the first time, but every experience Ive had thus far along with the tattoo further solidifies that for me. I went to Artistic Point Tatoo Company for my first tattoo and was tattooed by Nate. He made the experience fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. As a newbie, he helped me put together the perfect tattoo. I walked in there with an idea of what I wanted, but definitely needed some professional opinion. He was able to give me just the right amount of opinion to help me decide, and I couldnt be happier with the work that he did. Since being tattooed (on 6/17/2017) I have called the shop three different times with newbie questions. (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) I spoke to Nate two of the times (Monday and Friday) and his colleague once on Wednesday. Both of the times I spoke with Nate, he took the time to listen to my concerns, and welcome me to stop back into the shop to have him look at it to put my concerns at ease. When I talked to his colleague, although he wasnt the one to tattoo me, he was still more than helpful and spent a good five minutes on the phone with me listening to my concerns and assuring me that it sounded just fine, but if it made me feel better I was more than welcome to stop in. Yesterday was the third time I had called and Nate again invited me to stop in anytime if I felt the need to have him look at it just to make me feel better, so I was in the area and did decide to stop in. Although both Nate and his colleague were busy with other customers, they both took the time out of their day to look at my tattoo and assure me that it was just fine, and part of the normal healing process. (it had starting peeling and a little color started coming off which had concerned me- but Nate put all of my concerns to rest and told me that it was totally normal). I am not only beyond thrilled with the work that Nate did for me, but also the exceptional customer service I have received by him and everyone I have encountered at his shop. They are great people, very good at what they do, and I cant wait to get back with more ideas for him.

I went to Artistic Point Tattoo Co. after reviewing all of the local tattoo shops in Ithaca. I was most impressed by Nate and the work he has done. His artwork is amazing and he is able to do so many different styles. I went in on a Tuesday and had my tattoo done two days later. He drew up my idea (a quote) and it was absolutely beautiful. He is very professional, extremely friendly, so clean, and his shop has the most amazing artwork all over the walls (many done by Nate himself). He is a great guy to have a tattoo done by. He asks questions, makes sure the design is exactly what you want, and is a perfectionist (which is a great trait to have when it comes to permanent ink). I am so happy with my tattoo and plan on going back for more pieces done by him. Nate is an amazing artist and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants an excellent tattooing experience.

I gave Dave a drawing of mine I wanted on my forearm and the tattoo I got had a lot of problems. It looks rushed, shading and line work are shoddy, and there are many mistakes from my drawing. The initial consultation was brief. When I came in for the tattoo the stencil was the wrong size and needed to be redone a few times. I felt like I got attitude for being picky about the design and placement even though that should have been handled at the consultation, nor should it have been a problem to handle in person as I’m already paying top dollar for studio time and permanent body modification. I should have walked out and taken this project to someone more professional. I will be getting this tattoo touched up as best I can at a different studio.

Super friendly and great first tattoo experience with Ron. I was a walk in client and had no problems with the staff that was currently there. He immediately quoted me a price after showing him what I wanted and was tattooing me at least 15 minutes later. Super friendly staff overall, Ron made conversation throughout the whole process making me feel comfortable. He had no problems with changing the position of the tattoo in order to make it perfect in my eyes. With the tattoo being on my side, he was able to talk to me while giving me the tattoo to distract the pain. Overall for my first tattoo experience I was impressed and would recommend anyone to go to.

After reading all the stellar reviews for this shop, it was a no-brainer to go here for my first tattoo...and I couldnt be any more happy with that decision!! Nate is truly great at what he does!! Nate did a beautiful stained glass tattoo for me recently. He took the pictures that I gave him for inspiration and designed something that put all of my favorite components of each of the pictures together. He did the outline in one sitting and I had that for a few weeks to let it heal. People kept stopping me when I was out and about to tell me how beautiful it was! It only got better when he added color. Its a perfect tattoo and Nate is a great artist. I literally stopped in yesterday, talked to Nate about what I wanted, and he immediately offered expert feedback on the right skin zones for aging, sizing techniques, and design assistance-- all in a very polite and casual manner. I had my appointment today and he presented me with a handful of versions that he had worked on based on my original artwork-- all neat and defined and ready to go. And he still welcomed any changes I wanted to make and made sure I was getting what I envisioned and wanted. I watched him clean everything, and was completely comfortable for the entire session. Conversation isnt awkward, and even if youre getting a painful tattoo, there is SO MUCH cool stuff on the walls to distract you :) My tattoo was on my ankle, he made sure everything was in the right direction-- he basically asked approval before each next step and again at the end. I went in excited and left happy, and really did not have any nerves! Hes a super chill guy, but you can tell he seriously knows what hes doing, both artistically, and with the skin and body. Plus, I dont think many people can say they laughed while getting inked! Definitely recommend, I was a first-timer and Im excited to work with him for my next idea or two. Ive gone with a lot of friends to get their tattoos done at different places over the years, and this atmosphere was probably the best balance of formal and relaxed Ive encountered.So overall- cool guy, you get what you want, and you get it done right. I visited Artistic Point to get a tattoo on my leg. When I came to Nate, I only had a vague idea of getting a magical looking book. Nate took my idea and crafted it into a beautiful piece of art. Incredibly personable, friendly, clean, and all the other things you would want from a tattoo artist. I was back the next weekend for a septum piercing, which he also did a flawless job on. Nate does a great job of taking care of his clients and ensuring that they receive the best possible body modifications. I recommend him to everyone, and dont foresee myself going to any other shop in the future!

I got my first tattoo today from Nate. The experience could not have been better. I came in with my 19 year old daughter and she got a tattoo from Ron at the same time. Both artists were friendly, knowledgable, and good at what they do. I was really impressed that it didnt hurt. Its a few hours later and there is no redness at all, it is amazing! Had a great experience! Staff was friendly and place was clean. I walked in and talked with Ron, one of the tattoo artists. Ron looked at the tat I wanted and said he could to take me right away! This was my first tattoo and Ron was very informative of how to care for my new body art. Although pretty painful, Ron made it easy and quick. I got my first tattoo ever done by Nate yesterday! It was a great experience; Nate was very professional, and extremely patient with me, as I couldnt make up my mind, and kept changing the position of where I want my tattoo. Most importantly, I am extremely happy about my tattoo! I LOVE IT! Nate did a fanatics job! So I highly recommend to get tattoos from him! Nate has done all of my art work in Ithaca. He does a fantastic job, is very personable, and makes you feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend him for your next tattoo. I have never been disappointed and been there numerous times.

Austen did a cover up for me (no one could even tell what the old tattoo was) and he did a great job! We also did a sternum piece with the moon phases that turned out amazing! His line work is impeccable! Also they still require masks and you cant have a guest go in with you but the work is good and worth it! And a great atmosphere!

My wife and I just got our first tattoos here while in Ithaca for the weekend. Made our appointment with Ron and he got us in quick. He perfectly recreated my drawings and improved them. The tattoos came out great and his aftercare instructions were comprehensive. Plus it was a really cool room with a lot of personality. We will hopefully make it back there.

Ive now gotten four tattoos from Nate (my first four) and am extremely content with the overall experience. Nate is a really friendly guy who worked with me to optimize my ideas and come up with some great designs. Being a tattoo newbie, I appreciated that Nate was willing to offer me advice and artistic input on placement, colors, line width, and care to help my tattoo be as good as possible. Ill be coming here as long as Im in Ithaca and recommend you do too!

The atmosphere of the place is super cool, all the workers are really nice and like to make sure you get exactly what you want. I’ve gotten four tattoos from this place and each from different artists. I do think some work is better than others, but overall this place is great at what they do.

My daughter got a butterfly tattoo on her arm here the other day. Artist was great and very personable. He had a very light hand my daughter said. Her lines are crisp and clean with only one or two spots that are going to need a little touch up. Shop was clean and well organized. Definitely a spot I would recommend.

Nate is very professional! I enjoyed the experience of my first Tattoo very much. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable for the 8 1/2 hr sitting! Did I mention that I am so happy with my new Tattoo that it is hard to walk away from a mirror. His after care instructions were on point. It has been almost a week since the Tattoo and everything is going as Nate explained that it would.It took almost 7 years for me to decided what I wanted. When I finally did Nate brought my thoughts to reality in a very short time. I also could have had my Tattoo sooner if my schedule would have allowed time to go see Nate.His shop is very comfortable the art work a mix of his others and local artist was very appealing. Nate knows who or where everything has come from. I was only able to see another shop down the street and Artistic Point Tattoo Company defiantly stands out. It is apparent that Nate loves what he does and goes out of his way to educate his new customers.It was worth the 3 hr drive and the extended visit to get a beautiful piece of permanent art work. I have gotten so many compliments already I cant begin to keep track of them also at least 5 of my close family want to get a Tattoo at Artistic Point Tattoo Company. Overall amazing experience. First off, the atmosphere is great. I did a walk in so I had to wait around for an hour, but no matter because theres a lot of amazing art on the wall to look at and the staff members are super friendly. The manager Nate also gave me a great price: $300 for 28 Chinese Ideograms of formidable complexity and to top it all off he even bought me a bottle of water from next door. From the care in every drop of ink to asking what kind of music I wanted to listen to, everything about the experience was pleasant. By the way, this is my second tattoo I got here. The first one was great so I came back and now this new one has blown me away. Nate is a personable and talented artist and my tattoo looks absolutely beautiful. Hence me writing all this - to get the word out about this little diamond of a shop.

Nate did my tattoo with an enthusiastic attitude despite my walk-in without an appointment. His previous scheduled client cancelled an appointment and Nate immediately asked me if i wanted to take up the time slot. His efficiency and desire to make the experience as pleasant and complication-free really appealed to me. In addition his ability to explain the aging process of body art and patience in doing so really allows me to confidently say that he is an excellent tattoo artist.

My friend and I got tattoos back in March, they healed up nicely and look as good as the day we got them (minus the bruising and blood). Nate is amazing! If its your first tattoo, and you dont know what to expect. He makes the process of getting a tattoo so comfortable. I have three tattoos and the one Nate did is the best! I recommend this tattoo shop 100%.

After going in and having a tattoo done by Nate, I can say the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The vibe in the shop was comforting and he was joking and talking with me as he worked. He worked with me through the design of my tattoo making sure I had exactly what I wanted and everything was perfect. He was was constantly telling me what he was doing and describing how to take care of my tattoo once it was finished. His work was very good, double checking each pass to make sure they were right, leaving perfectly straight lines and a very nice tattoo.

The shop is gorgeous, tastefully decorated by the artists artwork. I stopped in for an unplanned tattoo. Nate was able to draw it up and tattoo it right away. The best part was introducing me to a new way to take care of my new tattoo as it healed, which was much easier and healed better than the typical A and D ointment regime. For this, I am most impressed by and look forward to coming back and getting my next tattoo.

I had a wonderful experience at Artistic Point Tattoo Company, and with my first tattoo nonetheless. I had been searching for an artist in Ithaca for awhile to give me a tattoo that Id had planned and wanted to choose exactly the right person. I knew immediately upon meeting Nate that I wanted him as my artist. Nate sat down with me after only five minutes notice on my part and discussed the design I had in mind, what parts would translate well and what might potentially be negotiable. He had an amazing grasp on the way that designs on paper translate onto the body, and stressed to me the importance of size and placement so that the art flows with the contours of the body. On the day I came in for my tattoo, he had several different design options drawn up for me and discussed each option with me. He gave very clear direction from the beginning of the process to the end which greatly eased the process of my first tattoo. He was friendly through the whole thing, easy to talk to, and made the three hours in the chair seem like nothing! During my tattoo, several people came in to inquire about tattoos and piercings and Nate was increidbly kind and helpful to each person. The shop was nice and clean each time I came in and the decor in the shop is amazing - a lot of it is Nates own work! It was all around an amazing experience and I am over the moon with happiness over my tattoo. It ended up being better than I had ever imagined and I will defiintely go back to Nate for my next tattoo. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an amazing artist in Ithaca and an awesome experience overall!

I went to Nate for my first tattoo last weekend. As nervous as I was, Nate made the experience relaxing and comforting to me. I went with my friend as well who got a tattoo behind her ear. Nate and Chris made us laugh throughout the time we were there, which definitely lightened the mood. Nate was very professional and talked me through my small tattoo I got on my side. Wouldn’t recommend a guy named “Dave” - said he’s been tattooing for ~30 years and is unable to do small print? Did a terrible tatoo on my fiancé. Super unhappy that I’ve got to stare at your garbage work on a daily basis now. Charged my fiancé a “minimum” at an almost $350/hour rate. Super amazing girl that you took advantage of and failed with your craft. Maybe it’s time for retirement.

My overall experience at Artistic Point Tattoo was fantastic. I was able to make an appointment quickly and professionally. The tattoo I wanted was of a complicated map subject and Nate researched my subject and produced a superior image before I arrived for my work. I asked for delicate fine line work which the artist handled with finesse. Narrow lines placed by a less experienced artist can break in healing. It has been months and the lines are unbroken and smooth as the day they were tattooed.

I was a little nervous to get my first tattoo, but Ron immediately set me at ease. He worked efficiently, his station was clean and he made sure I was comfortable the whole way through. As for the tattoo, I could not be happier with how it turned out! These are true artists at Artistic Point, and I plan on returning for another bit of ink sometime in the future!

I got tattooed by Ron and was super impressed with his flexibility to tattoo my friend and I. We were walk ins right before closing and didnt expect for him to hold up closing the store for us!!! He was super nice and it was a great experience. It was my second tattoo and on my foot. Two weeks after getting it though.... it was fading pretty badly, and to the point where one spot looked as though there was a complete gap in the ink. I had not done anything different in terms of care compared to my first tattoo (on my ribs), which healed perfectly. I called them about the issue and there was no hesitation to make it right immediately. Price was pretty high for a tattoo as small as what I got, but for Ithaca prices I think it was definitely on the lower side. I would recommend coming here!

I had a basic idea in mind and he created something that was better than what I envisioned. I had a great experience here for my piercings. two months ago I got 4 piercings at the same time, 3 on my ears and one belly button. The piercer is so nice and did the job quickly and painlessly.He is also very caring. Recently my belly button piercing fell off during the healing time, and I thought the jewelry is stuck inside (it wasn’t, I was only feeling the scar and I thought it’s the metal piece). I called them and he made an appointment for me immediately on a Sunday evening to make sure I’m Ok. He also gave me a new jewelry for free.I will definitely go back for my future piercings and I highly recommend this place!

I had two tattoos inked by Dave at Artistic Point Tattoo Company. The first was a lotus flower on my right ankle. I went back for a second on my left calf of a phoenix. Both are beautiful and the lines and color are clear and concise. It was a clean environment with honest artists. Dave and I consulted about the tattoos. On my second visit, I had brought in a picture that he said would not work well with the lines and then we considered the other possibilities until we found the phoenix. Both tattoos remained healthy through the healing process and healed in a timely manner by following the directions which are printed on their business card. I highly recommend the artists, especially Dave, at Artistic Point.

I had my first tattoo done two weeks ago, and the experience was phenomenal! Im not very artistic, so I had a vague idea of what I wanted but couldnt put it into pictorial form. I gave my ideas to Nate and he said hed get back to me with the final design in a couple of days; he also checked up on me and asked for further clarifications and personal preferences throughout that time. When I saw the finished design, I was blown away by how well hed managed to capture what I was looking for while also being completely different from what my limited skills had managed to dream up. The artistry is simply amazing. Nate commanded the lines boldly while the shading is exquisite and seems to flow naturally out of the lines (for reference, I got a swirling cloud of magic and words emanating from a wand in a Harry Potter tribute, so theres a testament to his skill with text as well!). I was a little scared going into my first tattoo but I was reassured every step of the way. Cant recommend highly enough!

Got my first tattoo here. Great environment, very friendly people. I had Ron, and he answered all of my questions, was able to draw up exactly what I pictured, and made actually getting the tattoo a great experience. When I was looking for a place I was worried about price. I dont think they have a standard rate, but they charge a deposit for drawing it up. The deposit is then taken off of your full price. A shoulder cap all black tattoo of a fairly detailed lion cost me $250 with a $100 deposit. Their prices are good and their service is top quality.

I was very very happy with the service that I received at Artistic. The owner has done a few touch ups for me that came out very well. I didnt think the original pieces could end up looking like real pieces of art! The owner is very knowledgeable, experienced and pleasant to be tattooed by! Just recently got a tattoo here. Nate did a great job. I got a birdcage, which is a lot of straight lines, and he did very clean line work. Very pleased with it. Definitely recommend going here if you want quality work done!

My girlfriend found this place randomly while on a travel assignment in Ithaca, and decided to give it a chance. She showed me hers and I decided Id get one myself (first tattoo actually) when I flew out to see her. In the end we both got awesome tattoos, and she even got a difficult cover up job done. Ron, the artist we worked with, was consistently friendly and passionately professional with the amazing job he did for us. I walked in on a busy Friday night and the owner took me as a walk in which is unheard of. The shop was immaculate and the artists were extremely professional. The work they did was the best I have ever had done and the experience overall was fantastic. Bottom line: Customer service = best I have experienced, Quality of work = perfect 10 hands down some of the best artists around, Cleanliness = you could eat off of the floor. Great job guys keep it up!

Beyond satisfied. Nate nailed the look and feel that I was going for, and then some. From only a few reference images, and a conversation. In addition to the overall professional artistic composition, the attention to detail is remarkable. Plus he’s a cool guy to hang out with if your going to be stuck in a chair for a few hours.

If there was a 0 star option, Id have chosen it. Unprofessional and poor customer service. The environment doesnt seem like they care much for sterility, and the location is in a sketchy part of town. I wouldnt trust these people to tattoo or pierce me in a million years, and the work Ive seen come out of here is questionable at best.

I went into Artistic Point for a septum ring, and almost did their 2 for 1 piercings! Im definitely going back and getting that; what a smokin deal! The artwork all over the walls really makes me want to get some ink there too. Before my purchase, I was given all the pertinent information regarding the septum ring and the piercing; cleaning and etc. I felt super comfortable knowing that I was in good hands. I highly recommend this place for any body modification. Will def be in again soon :)

I have come exclusively to Artistic Point for multiple piercings. The service is always timely and professional. Moreover, it has always been enjoyable. Peircings and tattoos can be nerve wracking but the laid back and professional environment diffuses any nerves Ive had. Not to mention the skill and precision that minimizes or even negates any pain you might experience. Ive brought friends who are getting their first piercings here and they have had similar positive experiences. I will definitely be coming back for any future piercings or tattoos!

2 weeks ago I had my Monroe pierced. The facility was very clean, the guy who did the procedure seemed very experienced. He provided good information on care and cleaning of the piercing. It was much less painful than I had anticipated. The place was covered with artwork, and there was an awesome fish tank.

I walked in to scope out how much my tattoo would cost and how long it would take, and they fit me in right then and there. Ron was very friendly and professional, and my tattoo turned out great. Also, they have the coolest fish tank Ive ever seen. Thanks!!

I went to the shop to get my septum ring replaced. Nate recognized that the jewelry I had was poor quality and switched it out for a really nice slim ring. Hes super friendly and professional, and is not the kind of person who will rip you off to save money. I highly suggest going here for your piercing/jewelry needs!

I had Ron. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and artistic in the design. I printed out an audiowave of my favorite song and he helped modify it to fit my image perfectly. The tattoo is beautiful and the price was exactly what it should of been. Incredibly clean and hygienic too. Id highly recommend this place.

I chose Nate because, of all the artists I studied in western ny.......He did the best Asian artwork. Kind of important when youre looking for someone to do a difficult Koi sleeve cover up. Its been three sittings now and were almost done. The best !!! piece on my body, by far. Will be back for more work in the future. Great shop !!!

I came in on July 4th 2015 to get a tattoo for my friend who passed away the night before in a tragic car accident. Nate was awesome and was very helpful. The tattoo turned out amazing, the small details of it make it more noticeable and I have received several compliments on it. THANKS AGAIN NATE!

I went here one night with some friends and decided to get my nose and my tongue pierced. It was a very enjoyable experience. The equipment was all perfectly clean and the piercer was friendly yet very professional at the same time. I have also gotten my navel and my eyebrow pierced here. They have a great 2 for 1 body piercing deal and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a piercing or a tattoo.

Artistic Point Tattoo Co is amazing! This was my first tattoo, and Chris worked with me all the way through it. I love it, and I definitely enjoyed my experience here. I didnt feel like I was just cashflow, they really wanted to get to know me and make sure I got what I wanted.Theyre also a really cool shop on the inside, with a lot of fanmerch for different things, and theyre very clean and well-kept. I could be sure that they were being sanitary; Chris even took the needle out of the sanitary seal in front of me.Definitely the place I to go, and I recommend it to anyone!!

I went into Artistic Point Tattoo one Monday when Stiehls was closed to get a piercing and was extremely impressed by Nates professionalism and friendliness. I had gotten the same piercing done previously and bilaterally at a spot back in NYC and both had gotten infected (even though I know how piercing aftercare works)...I suspect it was the place. I had no issues whatsoever with the healing on the piercing I got here. I also went back later for another piercing and again had no issues with healing. I highly recommend this venue for piercings. I will be getting all my future piercings from here.

Got my second tattoo done here today and it was great! I was a little nervous because I was having it done on my ribcage and everyone said it would be pretty painful, but the guys were great and put me totally at ease. Dave is the one who did my tattoo and I plan on going back in the next month or two to have it finished. Thank you!

My friends and I just got our first tattoos done here by Ronald!!!!! INCREDIBLE job and so friendly and easy to talk to. He made us feel so comfortable and he has a great taste in music too :))) I am so pleased with my experience and I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!!!!!

This past Friday, May 10th, 2019, I was having quite the difficult day so I did some research and found Artistic Point. I had had some tats in mind for awhile now that I had wanted and at first was just planning on going in to discuss them. Ron and Nate were extremely kind to me and made me feel valid in what I was feeling. I mostly talked with Ron about my ideas and decided to go ahead and get some tattooing done! He touched up my Harry Potter stars as the artist I went to before didnt put enough ink down on some of the stars and too much on one of them. Ron also added a beautiful crescent moon to that tattoo I already had on my left thigh and then added breathin on the front of my right ribs. Both hold incredible meaning to me and he did an INCREDIBLE job!! I will definitely be coming back in the future! :) THANK YOU GUYS SOOOO MUCH!!! Ron, you were awesome!!!

Ron made me feel entirely comfortable throughout the whole tattooing process, gave a great price, and finished with a quality piece. With 15 years of experience, he gets the job done quick with minimal pain. Definitely coming back here.

Really wonderful! They got what I wanted exactly right from just a conversation. Came out incredibly clean, with details done well and good shading. Clean, punctual, fast, and well-priced. This is my absolute favorite tattoo so far--Ill be going back when I want another one.

I was in town for the weekend with friends and wanted to get tattoos. Small (but not micro I should add 😉) and simple that probably wouldve taken around 60/90 minutes to complete all three. Was told we could show up at around 11 the following day after I called. We were excited and ready for a fun experience and to tip well! I was never told on the phone that masks were required, nor was it on their Facebook page or website. I am not against masks by any means but we didnt have any on us because we werent aware they were needed (or else we wouldve brought some). Not only was he so condescending when he told us that he didnt have any extra masks (odd if theyre required but you dont advertise that anywhere) but then proceeded to ask to see the tattoos we wanted to get even though he said not getting those without a mask and not that small I hope after seeing literally just a photo of them..Such an odd and uncomfortable experience.

Dave Rubin is one of the tattoo artists at Artistic Point Tattoo. I have been going to him for tattooes for about 12 years now and what he has done over time has held up extremely well, including some fine line detail. Black and greywash is his speciality.A few months ago, I asked him to tattoo a mouse on my arm, but to make is light enough to look like a birthmark. He was extremely accurate in predicting how much the tattoo would fade during the healing process and by the end, I got exactly what I wanted.Over the past few weeks, he has been helping me plan out my half sleeve tattoo, pulling pictures from the books that I had brought to him and laying them out and creating motion and depth to make the tattoo more stunning. He has tattooed about half of it now and I have been getting a lot of positive comments, impressed with the detail and fine work. I would recommend him to all.

I felt a little bit nervous about getting a cartilage piercing but Nate and Christopher put me completely at ease! The shop is extremely clean and well maintained. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is great! Ron was able to get me in for a walk-in, and my tattoo is beautiful!! Its perfect- everything I could have hoped for!! Everyone was so kind and professional, and the place has a great atmosphere. They made something painful into something fun!

I went to Ron for a family crest piece and he really did an amazing job. I gave him some reference images but really wanted him to put his spin on it. The images I provided were kind of cool but what he came up with was incredible. I am so in love with the piece and will definitely be returning to Artistic Point.

Nate has done two of my tattoos, and they are by far my favorite. The place is clean, and the tattoos are awesome. Its all about the customer and not the money.

I went in with a half assed concept and a pixelated picture. Nate turned it into an amazing piece of art. I constantly am getting stopped by people and even tattoo artists asking where I got it done and how much they love the color. I am more than happy with the way it turned out and will definitely be going back for more work in the near future.

Nate was super patient and accommodating and did a beautiful job on a tribute tattoo for me. Also the shop is awesomely welcoming and full of things I love.

Terrible!!! My sister and I wanted to get a sister tattoo together, this guy promised her the world saying its her tattoo so dont apologize and also saying the designs were easy. So when the drawings dont come out as promised and to our specific details he avoids us for a week. So i pull out because I get bad vibes, my sister put a deposit down for both of us, and so she asks if she can put the deposit towards her tattoo and he says that not how it works. Mind you she was thinking about getting two tattoos so why is not hard to ask to put it towards her other tattoo. Now before I get ripped apart I understand that most deposits are nonrefundable. SO she askes for something else sense we are not getting a sister tattoo anymore and he answers once then ignores her. Way to leave a bad taste in new clients mouths. 😡

I researched tattoo shops in ithaca and came across artistic point tattoo co. can not be more happy with my decision to get tattooed there. the shop is clean and the atmosphere is awesome!!! after talking with Jordan i could tell he was the artist for me! he was very professional and i could tell he was passionate about his work! Im sooo in love wtih my new tattoos!!!!! amaaaazing!!!!! needless to say ill never have to research tattoo shops again!!!!

Saved my cookies, thank you so much Nate! I had been pierced at Stiehls, and after having to take them out due to a chest x-ray, I could not get my piercings back in. Sadly Stiehls took a 4 day weekend, but Nate was REALLY good about getting everything back in, even though I wasnt originally their customer.. I am SO grateful and will likely be back!!!! :)

The staff at APTC is awesome! Very knowledgeable and skilled at what they do! Always have good tunes playing, something for everyone. There isnt too much flash hangin which in to me is a good thing, that means your piece of work will most likely be DRAWN FOR YOU, and only you. If you have any idea of what you want stop in and talk to Nate and see what you guys can come up.

Awful place, do not waste your time or money here. The artist was VERY rude. He talked my friend out of getting a tattoo and debated with me for over an hour. After he finally was able to get to his job, he messed up on the tattoo. It looks like a blob. When I had tried to call back to get it touched up, he was AGAIN very rude to me. Will not be returning and highly suggest that you DO NOT GO.
