T.R.A.P. Ink Tattoos and Piercings

T.R.A.P Ink is the place to go if you’re trying to get tattooed in Jackson, MI! I visited the area for a few days and Thomas helped me start building my tattoo sleeve. I gave him an idea and he turned it into reality. I love how the tattoo design turned out and it was reasonably affordable! Definitely would recommend

I got my nose pierced here, and they treated me great! The place was very clean and nice and they make sure everything is clean before setting you up to get youre nose pierced. Its a quick process and they make sure you know everything to need to know. I 100% recommend this place

Not happy with my experience here at all. The artist messed up my tattoo. I did reach out, and finally got an appointment for him to correct it. I assumed hed be correcting his mistakes at no charge, but he ended up charging me another $20. To top it off, the tattoo is still messed up.

Gorgeous place, beautiful atmosphere & the KINDEST artists . Harley just did 3 tattoos on me & did a nose piercing for me in the past. I absolutely adore her, shes so lovely & insanely talented. 10 out of 10, would recommend every single time! Ive gotten plenty of tattoos, but Harley has been my favorite artist due to her skill & up beat personality.. I ugly cried about 3 times before I left the building, Harley truly is my favorite artist❤

Dirt has the lightest touch out of all artists Ive worked with: I gave the idea and he did the art. The price was only 2/3 of what I was expecting, and the tattoo is BALLER.

Ive gotten almost 30 tattoos there in less than 2 years, and got my ears pierced. Getting my ears pierced was quick and easy, and she was very kind. Trisha has done all my tattoos over the last two years, and she is phenomenal! Fair prices, fantastic work, very clean environment, great music playing. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get some new ink. Theyve got a customer for life!

This parlor is particularly nice, great environment really comfortable vibe. I really enjoy how professional tje artist are, each willing to help. The artists are well versed and experienced, money well spent. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get some permanent art! Thanks for my ink guys!!

Back in Sept of 2022, I went in and talk to Trish about getting a large tattoo on my right thigh. She told me it would be $450, yet I would need to give at least $200 down. I gave them $250, and asked for a receipt of the down payment and I get a business card with them writing the amount on it.I was schedule for my appointment when I was advised by my doctor not to do a tattoo because of issues with my blood. I called and let them know that I would like my deposit back because I was not sure when I would be able to get a tattoo. The individual I spoke to on the phone said , we dont normal refund deposit. She spoke with the owner and she said due to my issue she would. I went to get my money two weeks later because Trish didnt have the $$ then, when I got there she gave an excuse she was getting a new bank card, to come back in a week, I called Trish number because it was provided to me and I went to VM. Never heard back from her. I am out $250, because of an issue I couldnt control.

Had a great experience with Harley and TJ. They both did beautiful touch ups for us and TJ did our couples tattoo.

Took my son to get a tattoo fixed the guy we originally started talking to said he could do it and make it look good then another guy came in and started doing the paperwork and told us the price would be $150 which seemed a little bit high for a hand tattoo but Im new at this so I figured it would be greatly detailed then they didnt even have a razor to shave the hand to even start the tattoo attempted to use an eyebrow razor and when I picked my son up it wasnt wrapped or anything I just feel this place is not very professional and definitely overpriced for $150 and a tattoo that didnt even take an hour it should be beautiful and detailed! also really hoping he doesnt get an infection due to the unsanitary conditions

I went in met with the woman working in the reception area, told her what I wanted, and she stated the artist would be in around 4 pm and they would call me to set up a time for the next day (Thursday) or Friday. I did not receive a return call, so I called and left a message with my phone number again….and again never received a return call to set up an appointment. Very poor customer service and follow through.

I have been here twice and I git 2 piercings and a tattoo. Harley is amazing and really does great work. Highly recommend

Went in for a tattoo that was supposed to be done that day but ended up having to be in two sessions. No biggie. But here it is a year later and I’m still waiting for my second appointment. The scheduled one and didn’t contact me about it and I couldn’t make it to that one, the second time an emergency happen so it never happened. So I messaged them and all I got in return was “thank you for your message, we appreciate everyone’s business.” And nothing else. I paid in full and got a half done tattoo.

Really professional.Great personalities of the artists. The artist who did my tattoo did and amazing job, she even free handed the writing. Her name was Tracy I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a tattoo, especially first timers. My little sister came in who was a first timer and Tracy was very patient with her and helped her feel comfortable. Reasonable pricing as well as clean work environment. I will definitely return!

I couldnt have asked for a better first tattoo experience. TJ was awesome, took his time on my simple tattoo and treated my tattoo as if it were going to be his own! He wasnt impatient with me when I spent an 25 extra minutes deciding my font style, size, and placement. The owner, Skate, treated us like family and spoke with us for a good period of time while my piece was getting done!

Went and got a tattoo done today and it came out perfectly, definitely beyond my expectations i was very pleased. The artist did a amazing job, everything went very smoothly, especially for my first tattoo. T.R.A.P Ink has very nice people and a great atmosphere to be in. 10/10 would recommend. 😁👍🏼

Fantastic service! Very professional and a clean environment. Everyone is friendly and its like they treat you like family. Theyre kind and courteous. Harley is a phenominal piercer, very quick and surprisingly painless! I highly recommend!

The nose piercing i got was horrible. It was my first time getting a nose piercing and the one i originally wasnt given to me, the piercing came out super quick, and when i told other friends about the piercing itself, they told me it wasnt a good way to do it, hence it would come out quickly and it wasnt how others did it. The woman who also did it, was mostly nice. Dont think i would recommend

The artist did an amazing job on my tattoo. My only concern is the price. I spent half the amount on larger tattoos at the same place. Whats with the hike in prices? Ive gotten all of my tattoos there and it has never cost that much and this is one of the smallest pieces Ive gotten.

Great and fast. One place wanted to set my appointment up for 2 1/2 months out. Stopped in and these guys had my tat done the next day! Clean lines and great work!!!

I did not get a tattoo but watched one get done. Tricia was professional and very detailed on her sketch. She made sure it was perfect before she started. She did an awesome job on the work. She is very personable too.

This place is so awesome! The artists really take the time to talk with you about what you want. They are all so friendly and interactive. They are like one big family. LOVE MY TATTOO and LOVE MY ARTIST Tricia!!! I would DEFINATELY recommend them and I will DEFINATELY go back!!!!!

Great experience and the tattoos came out the way we wanted.

I took my son to get a tattoo here for his birthday. I informed Tricia that I was paying for the tattoo when she was taking all the necessary information. I sat & waited in the waiting area while still chatting with staff. Because the artist doing my sons tattoo was getting it prepared. The artist never said ONE WORD to me. He just took my son back & started the tattoo. He didnt quote me a price, didnt show me the finished art... NOTHING!When I realized what was going on he was almost finished with the outline. I went back to talk to artist to ask why he proceeded without getting the Ok from me, because I was paying. He ignored me like I wasnt even there. I came back out & spoke to Tricia about his obnoxious customer service. And her response was, Hes not really a talker, but hes working on it.EXCUSE ME!? That is COMPLETELY unacceptable in a CUSTOMER driven business!!I asked to speak with the owner Skate, & he wasnt in. But happened to come up to the shop (for something totally unrelated) in the process. I spoke to him & explained what had just occurred & expressed my distain about the situation & the price for such a small tattoo.(***Im not a rookie in the tattoo world, I have over 15 from various places***)He (the owner) basically said in so many words Oh Well!I went ahead & paid for the very lackluster tattoo although I really shouldnt have!If youre looking for customer service, DONT GO HERE!!!If your alright with being treated any kind of way they see fit at the moment; then this is the place for you!

Ive received both of my tattoos from Trap Ink. Skate was very welcoming and social. The pricing was very reasonable and his art is amazing. Not to mention great recommendations for aftercare.

I am usually not the type of person to leave reviews but this place has the worst customer service i have ever dealt with before. i have tried multiple times to call and make an appointment, the person on the other end of the phone would tell me to send pictures of what i wanted done to their number and that they’d get back with me. they never did. i tried calling back a few times after that thinking they were maybe just busy, and they did the same thing to me again. basically refusing me service, i don’t understand why either.

It was a great experience i felt very comfortable and Tj did an awesome job on my piece i didnt have any discomfort what so ever i believe ill go back for another soon!!

They was very very friendly i went to get a cover up on a messed up tattoo and they was very honest with me instead of trying to just 5ake my m9ney they reccomended i go get lazer removal not what i wanted to hear but thankful for honesty i will be back for other tattoos

My five year old wrote me a letter and my tattoo looks just her own writting on me. Looks like she took a pen and wrote on my arm. They did amazing job.

Scam shop.Do not go here trashy work.Please dont tattoo any more people until you guys improve or get better at drawing my God man some of those tattoos are unacceptable.
