Wildside Tattoo & Piercing

We were in this past week so that my mom (82) could have her ears repierced. We were shown to a private room, and a very nice man named Joe provided the service. He did a wonderful job and carefully explained how to take care of them. Neither of us had ever been in a tattoo shop, but Wildside is the most professional and welcoming place you could imagine. Fantastic experience! Thank you so much.

Nick did amazing job on my Michael Jackson portrait. Tomorrow Im having him do my moms memorial tattoo. If you want a beautiful tattoo, hes your guy.

Josef did my piercings and he made me so comfortable, and was so understanding when I needed a second. If I need anything else pierced I am definitely coming back here.

I had a giant piece for my arm done by Corey. The art has turned out more amazing than I could have ever imagined. The entire staff was very inviting and fun people. Absolutely wonderful experience. Already planning the full sleeve on the other arm while finishing my first today.

Piercer was so nice! He knowledgeable and gave me tips on what would look best. Place is clean and smells good. Staff so welcoming and they take walk ins!

Got my septum done here earlier today. I love it so much. I walked in and was out in not even 15 minutes. So quick and not really painful. The guy (I didn’t get his name) was quick with it and made sure I was comfortable and everything. 10/10 would go back. :)

Love this place! I’ve been here for a few piercings now and all I can say is they’re the best! Josef is very kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. Keep up the good work everyone! :)I will add that one of my matching piercings was slightly crooked. They got me in for a repierce for FREE. I expected to at least pay for the materials and jewelry. Very happy with this experience.

Called for an appt to get daughter pierced, they said just walk in. No other questions were asked by the store, so we showed up for a piercing they apparently dont carry and would need to order the jewelery. An appt would be necessary after all. Since she couldnt get that type done, by choice she was going to go basic and then we learned cash only. So it was 3 strikes and then some at this point and we left but they wouldnt return the copy of my license. Which was still required even though we got their doc notarized. Seems redundant. They are horrible in customer svc. Do not recommend.Edit;You refused to return the copy of my license although no work was done. Thats sketchy not required by the county. Spoke to your employee with questions, why would i go to Facebook which i dont use, or online? They should know your requirements.

Let me just start by saying that I drive over 6 hours to visit wildside. I have been tattooed by both Corey and Dani at this shop. I have had them come up with original designs for me based on a list of things I like and they came up with such beautiful and well composed pieces that I got emotional when they showed me the designs. Additionally they have a deft hand and are concerned for your well-being, the work they have done has healed the best and fastest out of all other artists I have visited. There is very little scabbing and the peeling has never been out of control. The lines are solid and there is no blowout. I havent had to get any touch ups. They have also tattooed my wife and she has had similar results and is just as pleased with her work she has gotten.If you have heard anything negative about this shop and how it was run in the past know that things have changed and that those opinions are now totally unfounded. Corey and Dani are extremely accommodating, talented, and kind. I trust them completely and I know they have my best interests in mind. They always have good suggestions on how to take your idea for a tattoo and to make it better. They are worth every single penny. Always pay for top quality when it comes to things that are on your body. Never settle for less.Treat yourself and go in.

Nick turned my design into reality. I am delighted with my new tattoo. He made me feel comfortable and infinitely cooler. Very low drama, very little discomfort. Well done, Wildside!

My daughter and I went here to get mother/daughter tattoos from Dani. It was a great experience. Dani did a fantastic job! We love the tatoo she designed for us and the hints of color added to make it pop. The studio was clean and nicely decorated. Definitely would come back to get another tattoo from Dani. I highly recommend her!

If I could give negative stars I would. They dont take walk ins, which isnt a problem if you could get someone to help you set up an appointment.

Update: Corey from Wildside reached out to my husband and I after hearing our frustrations. He completed our touchups and was very nice and understanding. I would highly recommend Corey!My husband and I went to Wildside and saw Nick for wedding band tattoos. He told us to wait 6 weeks after getting the tattoo to let it fully heal and then to contact him if we needed touch ups. We contacted them after 6 weeks and were told that they do not touch up finger tattoos. After explaining that we were told we could get one after 6 weeks, they agreed but told us for future reference they dont do touch ups on finger tattoos (which we understood). Nick gave me his cell phone number so we could set up a time to get our touch ups completed, however, despite various attempts to contact him he ghosted us and will not respond to my texts. This is very unprofessional and we will not be returning to Nick for our future tattoos.

Second piercing I have had done and was definitely satisfied. Little upset cause I wanted my tongue done but it was unsafe for me to. So I got my nose done instead. Very thankful the piercer was so knowledgeable. Had a great experience.

I have been to this place many many times, but my recent experience was unreal. A simple hour and a half tattoo no detailing costed $400 that was just absurd. If you want to charge that kind of money you’re in too small of a town my son got a tattoo as well and it was just a paw with a couple letters and he paid double for that than the one that he got a few months prior they had more detailing, I just can’t believe I was charge $400 for a simple bow on each leg no detailing no nothing. It looks like I’ll be taking my business elsewhere because that was just crazy to me to charge somebody that much money for the most simple tattoo

I went here a few days ago for a tattoo and I was blown away by the results. It was my first detailed tattoo and the artist I saw, Nick, worked with me to make sure it turned out perfect. I would recommend this shop to anyone wanting to get a tattoo.

My buddy and I got our ears pierced by Joe. I got my Daith and Helix and my friend got his Lobes. We both agreed that Joe was very kind and patient. He did an amazing job with the piercings. I would highly recommend his work. Very clean and smooth work. Was very impressed.

I had an absolute blast, as usual. Its great being around the staff. The work is always wonderful --- better than I hoped. I really do love it, here. I have bounced around the county trying to find the right fit and I can now say that Wildside is where I will always be going for tattoos and piercings.Also, it may not SEEM like a big deal but seeing a section on the paperwork for preferred name and pronouns almost made me cry.

This is an amazing place. Very friendly staff. Super knowledgeable in piercings. I took my daughter for her birthday and they made sure I was comfortable as well as my daughter. It was such a great experience. I would go back to them everytime and I drove an hour and a half to get there.

The staff is friendly. The place is clean. They do great work at Wildside. I highly recommend them. Any questions you have they answer nicely and they are on top of things. If you call for something they call you back. They keep their appointments and run on a timely schedule. Props to Corey and Dani for their wonderful tattoos!

Very clean. Very friendly. Did an amazing job with the nose piercing for my (15 yo) daughter. Explained everything that was going to happen (my daughter was very nervous). And the took the time after to make sure my daughter felt ok and was comfortable. HIGHLY recommend. 😊

Was in Jamestown visiting our daughter(we are from MN). Have driven by many times & thought about stopping in. This time I did & decided to get my 1st tattoo for my 60th birthday. The staff was friendly & encouraging. Dani did a great job!!

I got my collar bone done here and Im happy with it. My font bled together but that happens with fine lines and solid black, no problems. Also had my nipples pierced here and they took very good care of me.

Short and sweet. I will not go anywhere else for a tattoo. Wildlife tattoo 100% the best in the area.

I had some piercings taken out today and the piercer was very gentle and very professional he did a great job overall. Very happy.

I got my lower navel pierced and she lined it up perfectly with my upper navel piercing! Placement is beyond perfect, when I look down its a straight line. It was very quick and she made me feel relaxed so it didnt hurt as much :) love it!

The piercing studio is very clean, Alyssa is great and talks you through every step. This time (after not eating much all day) I got very light headed; Alyssa knew just what to do and was very calm and helpful.

Went here to get my belly pierced. First time so I was nervous, they calmed me down and made sure I was comfortable. Probably there for a total of maybe 10 mins? Fast and easy. Definitely will be going back for future pericings.

Had a lip piercing and it swelled pretty bed went back and sawAlyssa Takanashi and she cleaned it and tried several different types of piercings to find one that would be ok with the swelling. Wants me to come back in 3 days to check it. Never have I meet a nicer sweetheart.

I absolutely love them. Ive always gone here for my piercings, and I refuse to go anywhere else. They go into full detail with all your questions, are clean, and so friendly.

Awesome place! I couldnt for the life of me get my ball tightened on my vertical philtrum piercing and they helped me out as soon as they could while I was on my lunch break from work! Very clean place and well managed. 10/10

I went to have my navel pierced and I was very pleased with the atmosphere and the vibe within the shop, she was very neat, clean , and quite fast . I was there for maby 15 mins . I absolutely recommend this esabliahment and I will continue to use them in the near future .

Kim is probably one of my favorite people there. She always take great care of me. I got my first tattoo there and then got my septum done. Overall a great place!!!

I went a couple of weeks ago to get a piercing. They were very friendly and walked me through the process. Also answered all of our questions before we asked. I will definitely be going back again

When I called about doing a walk-in piercing I wish they would have let me know it was cash only. Also would have been nice to have a aftercare sheet. I have been pierced before so I know the ropes, but its still nice to have.

When getting a piercing done the piercer is very professional and nice. Everything is sterilized and clean.

It was very clean and they was polite ...did a good job .. So if u looking for a place and want some thing done wild side is the place .ty

OMG DONT GO HERE. If there was a zero rating. Id give that. Dont let these people pierce you. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEYRE DOING. Save yourself an infection, save your money and go somewhere credible. This woman has no clue how to pierce, which tools to use, or even which gauge to use. CAUTIONI have photos of what she did and correction, if anyone is interested.

For any body that wants a tattoo usually I would say go to Wildside in Lakewood, NY. Well do not go there! That shop can kiss my A**!!! Went up after my son was born and got his initials on my neck. One spot that everybody sees. Well the artist was suppose to do M.J.R. well some how he ended up doing M.J.A. So how do you get a A out of a R?!?!? he got done and I seen it was wrong was pretty up set, so he said come back for touch ups and we will get it fixed. So I made it back up one time to get it touched up. Well I never made it back up since, get ahold of them and ask when I could come back to get finished and they said that I could not get it touched up any more for free that i would have to PAY $50 now since its been past the 1st year. Are you serious!!!!!!!! The artist messed it up not me!!!! I want it fixed damnit. Oh no you need to pay now. So what happened to this life time warranty? that doesnt come into effect they said!!! NEVER GO TO WILDSIDE FOR TATTOOS UNLESS YOU WANT SOMETHING YOU DIDNT ASK FOR. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR A ARTISTS MISTAKE!

Got my first tattoo done here and its unbelievable how it turned out. Healing really well, quite detailed and well centered.
