I have had 2 important tattoos done on my by Justin. Blown away by how awesome they turned out. Definitely will be going to him for all my work. Amazing atmosphere and amazing art work and incredible artists. 100% recommend Studio 40 to any and everyone looking into getting a tattoo.

Clean and friendly! I highly recommend coming to Studio 40 for any tattoo work you would like done! I have had work done by Thomas and he does really good work. He has done two tattoos. I am hoping to get more done by Thomas come this summer and hopefully book one with Justin! Justin does phenomenal work as well! I recommend him highly too!

Justin was professional. He did really good at making sure I was comfortably as he did my first tattoo. He made good suggestions on how he thought my tattoo might look better than what I originally had in mind, and it turned out awesome. Im glad he made the suggestions he did. I would definitely go back for more tattoos by him! He worked with me even though I was late for my appointment, which I 100% appreciate! I dont really know what to say other than I really enjoyed my experience with my first tattoo and he made it so I wanted more!

Justin is a fantastic artist! Very talented in many areas of different tattoo styles. He runs a tight, officiate, clean shop. Thomas also is a great artist. Studio 40 is a great place, and very fairly priced for the excellent quality of tattoos coming out of there.

I’ve gotten several tattoos in my life time, this is the far most best experience I’ve ever had. My tattoos healed amazing, I’ve never received compliments on my art work as I had with Justin’s at Studio 40. He was not rushed at all, he took the time on his art work. I will not only be going back for more but I have a lot more friends and family that I have recommended to getting their ink done with Justin at Studio 40. Just with my ink that I got done in November 2019 I have friends and complete strangers that I didn’t even know that asked where I got my ink done at and they are now gonna travel from Fargo/Moorhead area to Jamestown to get their ink done. Everyone that complimented me on my ink was so impressed and amazed with Justin’s line work. So excited for my next appointment. So if you want amazing to die for ink, come down to Studio 40. They are an amazing family business with amazing talent.

When my daughter turned 16 I gave my permission for her to get her first tattoo. Justin did an amazing job. He was very friendly and professional. Very clean shop. He also had all the patience in the world while listening to my daughter and her friend gossip about all their teenage girl issues. Lol. I would highly recommend him.

We are blessed to have a tattoo shop with the caliber of talent Justin from Studio 40 has in North Dakota. I’ve been around tattooing a long time, and he is literally the best artist I’ve ever seen. I will go nowhere else. It’s tough to put trust into someone to do a portrait on skin, but he has my total faith and trust and mine turned out better than I anticipated. He’s a true master of his art. Thank you, Justin, for the amazing ink.

Just had a thigh piece started by Justin. Its a super clean shop with quality work sent out the door. Justin and his apprentice Devin were both friendly and professional through the entire morning. My needs and comfort were considered throughout the appointment as well. Line work looks awesome and the colors are bold and beautiful. Would absolutely recommend a tattoo from this shop.

Justin did a beautiful job on a very personal tattoo. The experience was one I hold close to my heart and it was due to the atmosphere and people that work there. And the tattoo itself is GORGEOUS. I am so proud of it. I will be back for more of their work. I cant recommend them enough.

Justin is very friendly and professional. He has given me 3 tattoos and 2 was for my dad that has passed away the one a cover up that I waited 17 years to get rid of. His shop is clean at all times. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone that wants beautiful ink.

The first time I got a tatto and the studio I was not impressed with the artist BUT upon that artist leaving and me being unhappy with my tattoo Justin has been so helpful and willing to work with me in order to get it fixed and make me happy! I debated waiting to post until it was finished, BUT I need to rave about the work that Justin Skadsem does!! I got the dandelion tattoo 7 years ago at 19. I found it on Pinterest a few days before and just went with it. Fast forward a few years and I cringe when I see it and longed for the day I’d finally get it covered up. I’ve spent a long time researching coverup artists, because not all coverups are great! I stumbled upon Studio 40 from a friends page and fell in love with his work! I had no doubt that he would make this look great! Please consider Justin for your next artwork, he’s super fun, nice, and accommodating (thanks for the suckers!)

Just got my first tattoo. It was a five hour drive but well worth it Justin does great work and I’m very excited I went to get it done.

Went here for the Friday the 13th special. They had a seperate person come in to clean the stations for the artists so things went smoother. There were so many people. And I Love my cat. The eyes glow under blacklight!!!
