My kid turned 18 and wanted a sleeve, so we booked a session with Dan May at Black Cherry Tattoo and were absolutely 100% impressed with what he has done so far! Not only is Dan an amazing tattoo artist, but his knowledge of various styles and techniques is inspiring, and his ability to understand our sons vision was comforting. He listened to our sons ideas, saw his vision, and created a stunning design that was perfect! Our son is anxious to get back in the studio to get it done! Thanks Dan! You rock!

Dan is an unbelievable tattoo artist! He recently moved back to the WNY area after living in Japan for over 20 years working as a tattoo artist where he owned his first studio. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and will help bring your ideas to life. I am ecstatic on how my moto dog tattoo turned out, its absolutely perfect! Were lucky to have an artist of this caliper right here in Jamestown.Dan and Ann are both awesome, professional and talented humans. I cant recommend them both enough or their beautiful, clean studio! Theyre the best :)

Talented,fun, patient and accommodating...Ive never felt so comfortable talking to or working with a tattoo artist before Ann. I have a few tattoos I am less than happy with because I felt like I couldnt ask them to change something without them feeling insulted. A tattoo can be great, but not what you want at the same time (Ann) that is no reflection on the artists ability. Before meeting Ann... Unfortunately asking them to tweak or change something because it just doesnt match what you are thinking, ends in nearly permanent ink that you just arent happy with...if you cannot talk to the one stamping your body....walk away

Ann is my personal artist, shes now done most of my work as her skills and artistic ability is amazing. Dan has experience like no other in Jamestown. Shop is clean, fun, and pleasant to be in/around. Great owners, great artwork, a Great addition to downtown Jamestown. My 100% recommendation to anyone looking to get a tattoo.
