Just got home from 3 ear piercings done by Dan. Absolutely wonderful experience. Highly recommend coming here (especially if you tend to fall on the anxious side with getting these kind of things done). Between Dans relaxed personality, him taking the time explain everything thoroughly, and witnessing him prioritize cleanliness above everything else calmed me right down and it was over before I knew it! Im so glad I chose to go here.

Dan was amazing! From start to finish he was very professional, educational, not pushy, took his time, and made sure his hands and everything else were very clean. I have wanted a helix piercing for about 30 years. It hurt way less than I expected. My daughter got a second piercing in her lobes and is very happy with them as well. Im so glad we went to Dan at The Shamans Den!

My daughter and I went last week for piercings. She got lobes and navel, I got helix. We scheduled our appointment using their online tool and it was very easy. The day of the appointment I got a text letting me know they moved and what their covid plan entailed (yay masks!!!). It was just the perfect level of communication.The new studio is gorgeous! The place is immaculately clean and set up well.Dan is amazing. He is kind and patient, he talked us through every step and he is very talented. Every piercing is well centered and they are healing up very quickly.They do take credit cards for piercings which I wasnt sure of.

Fantastic work! Paul is great, as are they all, but he has been working on me for three years and Im never disappointed. The shop is clean, safe, and run with integrity. High quality work and jewelry. The selection of jewelry is large and original too!

Shamans Den is the only place I trust for tattoos and piercings! Ive been tattooed by both Pat and Paul, and both are incredibly sweet and talented. Dan has done my most recent piercings and I will never go to anyone else again. Shawn, Kevin, and Abby do amazing work and I cant wait to get tattooed by them one day soon. Brought my friend here for her second nose piercing. Staff was extremely kind, had a good sense of humor, and seemed to have a lot of experience dealing with people who are new or not so new to piercings. Very clean and the piercing was quick and painless. The piercer was extremely attentive and lined it up the way my friend had asked. They gave lots of tips on how to keep the wound clean, when to swap out jewelry, etc. Experience was great, would 100% recommend.

Had a great experience getting pierced with Dan! Studio was clean, I was informed of the aftercare in detail, and I felt comfortable the whole time. I will definitely come back for my next one.

First off the shop looks amazing, very well maintained and nice and clean. I was greeted by Daniel who my appt was with in a friendly manner.He had me fill out a paper while he prepped for my piercing. Then went back to a nice clean private room. Daniel took the time to answer all of my questions and help with any concerns i had. I got a genital piercing done and didnt feel uncomfortable at all during the whole process. He made me feel at ease especially with describing everything he was going to do before actually doing it. Told me everything to expect. He was very professional during the whole piercing process. He explained a few times about aftercare and even provided a pamphlet. And that I could always message if I had any problems. I would highly recommend The Shamens Den and Daniel for your piercing needs. Thank You!

Had a great experience at the Shamans Den. Piercing area was pristine and not crowded. Dan did 2 helix on my left ear and both ear lobes. He was patient and kind/courteous as I asked questions and explored other options. Got directions and aftercare pamphlet/cleaning supplies to take care of the piercing.Thank you!

Ive had a couple experiences getting pierced by Daniel and I could not be more pleased. Friendly, clean, knowledgeable, and professional. He not only made it a comfortable and easy experience, but also seems genuinely grateful to those who patronize his business. The end result came out perfectly; the piercings he performed were exactly how I wanted. The shop is clean and interesting. Every time Ive been there, all the tattoo artists are busy and creating beautiful pieces. All seem to have a positive attitude. All around fantastic experience, would definitely recommend. Also, there is a beautiful and diverse selection of jewelry... I couldnt help but to leave with a pair of Maya earrings. I drive about 3 hours to get there, and Ive made the trip on a few occasions. Id easily make the drive any day for a quality piercing or tattoo.

This was my first piercing I got done and it was an amazing experience. Dan the piercer talked me through the whole process so nothing was unclear and created a comfortable, welcoming environment. He was very thorough and explained the healing and cleaning process. Overall he made for an amazing experience and I will be coming back for future piercings.

I personally had a nostril piercing done by Daniel a few years ago. This was my first piercing other than my ears (which were done when I was much younger) and I was really impressed by both the professionalism and the overall environment of the establishment.I felt comfortable the entire time, and it was obvious that Daniel knew what he was doing. The whole process was fast, clean and safe (the last two being extremely important to me).My husband just recently finished up a full sleeve tattoo done by Paul and he couldn’t be happier with the result. It looks amazing, and the amount of time and dedication put into it really shows - it was completed over a period of 8 months in ~8 sessions. Not only was my husband dedicated to ensuring that it came out looking great, it was clear that Paul was also invested and thus took his time and put a lot of effort into his work.Overall, if I had to recommend somewhere to get a tattoo and/or piercing, this is the first and only place in the Binghamton area that I would suggest. I have one tattoo that was done at a different establishment by a different artist that, while I carry no regrets about, had I known at the time about The Shaman’s Den I most definitely would have had it done there instead.I’m out of positive things to say about this place but please do consider at least scheduling a consult here if you’re unsure where you want to have your work done. It will be well worth your time.

Had a piercing done here and would definitely recommend the Shamans Den! Dan was great; friendly and made me feel comfortable. He took the time to answer my questions, explain the procedure, and discuss appropriate aftercare instructions. I havent personally gotten a tattoo there, but have seen a lot of their work, and its all fantastic! They do carry jewelry and other products (like saline solution for aftercare, etc).

Everything about my time at The Shaman’s den was amazing. It was clean, quiet, the decorations were amazing and so was the jewelry. Everything was sanitized, and the guy who did my piercing was kind. I appreciate people who put you at ease and convey no negative judgements, and this guy was like that. My helix piercing didn’t really hurt, but for the people worried, you get to lie down and hold a mirror. You are walked through the experience and it is calming and straightforward.

Dan was the best! I got a VHP which is something I’ve wanted for a long time but wanted to make to get it from someone experienced since it’s in a sensitive area. I have nothing bad to say about my experience at all. He was incredibly kind and professional about what could be an awkward experience and talked me through the whole thing. It was honestly great and I can’t wait to go back and get something else pierced!

If you are getting a piercing, go here! Professional, clean and everything you would want from a piercing shop!I saw a lot of (positive) yelp reviews but mostly the people werent local, which gave me pause. Then I realized yelp isnt as popular here as cities. :)

I recently went to Dan for a nose and lobe piercing and he was fantastic! Super friendly and very professional. Environment was very clean. He explained everything in detail during the whole piercing process. I had to go back for a longer post for my nose piercing and he got me right in. I would highly recommend him for any piercing services.

The only place in Binghamton that I will go for tattoos and piercings. These guys know what theyre doing and they do it well- very, very well!!!!! I could probably write you a book about how great they are. Really! 💙

Such nice staff, very very clean and calm environment, and incredibly talented artists. I would trust no one else for piercings or tattoos. Everyone i have asked where I should go for my first tattoo, they all said Shamans Den. Even my brother has told me he wouldnt trust anyone else especially when it comes to tattoos.

Got my first tattoo here in April which was done by Paul. He was very nice and reassuring throughout the whole process! He always explained to me what he was doing with each step. The place is super clean and comfortable. Great experience for a first tatt. Definitely recommend!

Please read! If theres one thing Ive learned it is that quality is way better than quantity. Which is why I will never make the mistake again to get a 25 dollar piercing from a less popular place than 40 or so at the shamans den. Please understand that you get what you pay for. When it comes to your body do not cheap out. The shamans den is absoulty the best place to go for your tattoos and piercings. I was very pleased with my visit. Very professional, very clean, very comfortable atmosphere, nice people, awesome equipment. Im just trying to keep people from making the same mistake I did.

I scheduled an appointment in February and my appointment was supposed to be 2 weeks ago. I sent an email every month because I was told that I could do an email consult and I never heard anything after I sent my deposit. I don’t know what the guys issue was because he didn’t have any issues up until I sent the deposit and my photo he needed. However, as soon as I asked for my refund back, I instantly got it back, what gives? I loved the style of tattoos they did and I wouldve given them a ton on business. Now I don’t even want to try another artist. Thanks

Clean, professional, and friendly - the Shamans Den is everything Id hoped for. Dan is a certified piercer, which makes it worth the drive for me! I have had several things pierced by him and fully expect to keep going back!

So about 3 years ago I found them through google because I had to get a dermal removed and hadnt had any luck with local shops around me. I needed it out since I was in nursing schools and I needed it done relatively soon. The piercer who removed it was Dan, and he was super nice and professional! When it came up that I had the dermal for about three years, he was honest and said it might be a little difficult to remove it, but still maintained confidence in his ability to get it done in an ethical and least traumatizing (lol) way.In the end, the dermal just popped right out and there was minimal pain, if any. I have a small, barely noticeable scar but thats just from the piercing and not anything that Dan did.I am looking into getting more piercings and plan on booking with Dan when Im ready. Everyone in the shop was just really chill and nice. Its CLEAN as well. I didnt get any type of infection or anything negative like that. Ill also be booking any future tattoos with the artists that work there.The only thing that was difficult for me was parking, BUT, I had never been there before so I wasnt familiar with the area they were in. I had to park on the street and pay a meter. Now that I know though, its not a big deal.I know my experience was awhile ago, but I hope this helps!

I went into the place and got an awesome artist vibe very inviting. They let me in before they opened up so i could change my nose ring. They talked me more thoroughly about cleaning, different jewelry to put in the piercing. They also are a SUPER CLEAN PLACE!!! They have awesome customer service and very nice guys.

Ive been here many times to get tattoos from Pat, who is one of the best tattoo artists I have ever interacted with. The shop has a great vibe, the staff is very laid-back, personable, and knowledgeable. I always recommend this shop to people.

Kevin did my tattoo: a family crest on my pec. Would share a photo if I could because it’s worth showing the high quality of his work. Took +/- five hours and he stayed focused and attentive to detail throughout. He’s also great company. Highly recommended, and thanks Kevin for the great tattoo.

Dan did an amazing job with my eyebrow piercing. I ran about 10-15 minutes late thanks to bus delays and Dan was still extremely accommodating and understanding and took me reguardless. It was a little more expensive than my last piercing, but definitly a fair price for the cleanliness and professionalism of the shop. Hands down, definitly the best place to get a piercing in the Tripple Cities area.

The Shamans Den is the only place I would go in Binghamton, NY for a piercing of any kind.Dan Kincer is an excellent piercer, does wonderful education, and has a clean and sterile field every time he pierces.I also like how super easy it is to get an appointment scheduled to have a piercing. On Shamans Den website, you simply click on Piercing Appointment and find an opening. The type of piercing determines the time slot needed. Most piercings are about 30 minutes.

Dan is absolutely the most professional and best piercer (in my opinion) in the Binghamton area. He has done 3 of my piercings since I was 17 years old. I will not let anyone else pierce me!

Absolutely effing fantastic. I cannot recommend these guys enough. They are appointment only, start promptly, do clean work, and have a shop filled with great art. They care about comfort and safety and are not too uptight about it. 10/10, will definitely come back.

I am slightly older then your normal teen but, love piercings. I had my belly button pierced around 10 or so years prior had a baby and let it close up. When I traveled to Rochester they were unable to do it as if theyd never done a piercing like that before lol. Then a friend suggested the shamans den and what a wonderful experience. I didnt need it repierced like they had been telling me. The piercer just threw a metal line up through it and we were back in biz!! Less then a minute and ZERO pain. Thank you and still love the job!

Shamans Den is and has been the tattoo studio that sets the bar in Broome County. Ive seen plenty of the work from this shop, and everything Ive looked at is impeccable to say the least. A-rate artwork.

Straight trash. made us wait for over an hour after our scheduled appointment to and he didnt even finish it. Increased the price after the fact. Over priced and if tis your first tattoo theyll definitely rip you off if you let them.

Good work. Poor customer service. It’s like pulling teeth to get an email response from them. And if you call them, a recording tells you just to email them. What’s the point to having a number if you’re gonna tell us just to email?

They boast that they are the best tattoo shop in Binghamton but they have the worst customer service. I went in to buy new jewelry for my labret and was totally ignored by shop staff. Super pretentious vibe as well.
