Amazing service. kaelin is wonderful to work with, she went out of her way to squeeze me and my friends in for our tattoos we all wanted on the same day for my birthday. george (the owner) was super helpful as well when it came to a last minute issue that came up. amazing quality tattoos, good vibes, you can’t ask for more. this tattoo was a cover up of another faded tattoo i had on my arm, and i have another appointment scheduled for shading. definitely worth checking out this shop if you want quality shit.

Had a wonderful time. Kaelin was my artist. She really put in the work to the design of the tattoo. I gave her artist freedom and she did not disappoint. I like how the whole shop worked as a team to help iron out small issues to get the best possible piece of art on my body. Will be going back often. I got tattooed by Ricky today. He was professional, on time, worked w me on my design and it turned out KILLER! The entire staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be coming back!

DONT DONT DONT go here to get pierced. if i could rate this -100 i would. my friend and i went in on a very non busy friday night. no wait and immediately went back to the piercing room, my friend just trying to make conversation asked how long the piercer has been doing this, he jokingly said back “since noon” now that i think about it it wasn’t a joke. i sat down to get my tragus pierced, he immediately shoved the needle through and didn’t mark it out and barley whipped it down, he couldn’t immediately get the jewelry through so he took out the needle and shoved in another metal thing though to figure out the jewelry, he then took the metal thing out and whipped the blood away and decided to reshove the needle through AGAIN at this point he got new jewelry and was using a screw end nose ring. absolutely not meant for the ear. he couldn’t get that in obviously. during this whole process i kept saying “im not sure we should keep going” “i think we should be done” thankfully my friend was there to stop him. she then proceeded to say get up we’re leaving, he didn’t offer me a towel or anything for the blood and trauma he caused to my ear. the male piercer there is very unprofessional. like i said DO NOT GO

Ive been going here for about 15 years and would never go anywhere else! The shop is clean, the artists are all great. Jewels is amazing!! She can do it all. HIGHLY recommend this shop. You wont be disappointed!

I’ve been coming to George for over a decade now and it’s always a great experience working with him from paper to skin. I booked an appointment for a small script tattoo and I’m more than satisfied with the service and how dope my new tattoo looks! All the artists and staff at the shop are nice and welcoming! George always makes the whole process enjoyable and fun, I’m excited for my next work of art!

Walked in and asked if I could please park my car for an hour to run to the parts store as I was broke down. Shop guy said let me ask the owner and said it was okay then the owner came out screaming at me to park in another companies parking lot and when asked if they cared he said not my problem but you aint parking here and walked in. was rude as could be. Walked inside the shop to see two customers just standing waiting.

This is my second trip there. Both artists have been great. Clean, and inviting atmosphere. I have had work done all over the midwest, and this is by far my favorite shop. Iain did amazing with this cover-up / rework.

I always loving going to lifestyle ink. This is the only place I will go to for tattoos because they always do an amazing job. All of the artist are always super friendly and fun to talk to. I got multiple piercings and my first tattoo from here just a couple days ago. I got all my stuff done by Ricky and he did an excellent job! Everything was on point, he was the right amount of talkative with me and guided me through it pretty seamlessly. He always made sure I was comfortable and ready for everything. Didnt need an appointment either I just came in. Im not from the area but I might just have to make it a thing to come everytime Im around great first experience, other shops got a lot to live up to!

This lanky wheres waldo looking d-bag had enough nerve to literally laugh and have a attitude with a 72 year old about a nose piercing she knows nothing about.... its really unfortunate he didnt get a attitude with me .... maybe next time hell have the balls to do it

My daughter got a navel and nose piercing from a different local shop. When she had an allergic reaction from them using cheap metal we went to Flesh Gear to have the nose ring removed and the navel ring replaced to something higher quality. They didn’t charge anything for both removals, just a small charge for the new jewelry (which is beautiful). Everyone was friendly and very helpful! People, don’t go anywhere else for your piercings and tattoos, this place is legit!

Jewels was awesome! Three of us came in for remembrance tattoos. We didnt come in prepared, but she was very patient at helping us figure out font and size and she does great work. She made you feel comfortable and relaxed. It was a clean environment and the staff was awesome. I felt like Ive been going there for yrs. Shes my new tattoo gal :)

Great Experience! I took my daughter in to get a nose piercing here. I think I was the one that was nervous and asked several questions. They will answer any question you have and give great aftercare advice. The shop was very clean and the person we had (Jim) was very professional and you could tell he is dedicated to his work. I also like that they make sure all your paperwork is in order if you are bringing someone in under the age of 18. If I ever get brave enough to get a tattoo, I will come here!

My friend and I came in to get our belly buttons pierced and we are extremely satisfied with our experience and piercings. The woman who helped us was very kind which made the experience as comfortable as possible. It is healing quite nicely so far.

My daughter, my sister, and I all had piercings done within the last 4-6 weeks here and have all had problems. Went to a different establishment and was told by the piercer there how ours were all done wrong and had to come out. My husband also had to use pliers to get the hoop out of my ear and we have since learned that using the hoop vs a post is the worst way to go. My advice - don’t go to a place that doesn’t have an actual dedicated piercer on site.

Its been several years since Ive been here but I had several tats done and even now I get compliments. I even get asked if they are new because the coloring has held up so well. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Planning a new tat this summer so Ill be returning! 👍👍❤🤠

Me and my friend came here to get friendship tattoos, we both got yin&yang feathers. Matt, Fat Matt did both our tattoos and they came out amazing! I love mine so much it looks great! It was a clean place and nice environment, and very friendly people. Definitely going back there for all my future tattoos!

I had my nose pierced here, and I bled EVERYWHERE. I was trying to catch the blood in my hands and he yelled at me to put my hands down. After the piercing, he didn’t even offer me a paper towel, so I went and grabbed my own. Without saying anything, he took the whole paper towel roll off the rack and chucked it in the garbage. I guess I wasn’t allowed to touch it, for like contamination reasons, but he could’ve easily gotten me some instead of watching me bleed all over the shop. I love my piercing, but the attitude of the piercer just threw me off, like I was inconveniencing him. He was a bigger white guy.

I didnt get pierced here but I had a bad experience at basement ink with my piercing and flesh gear saved me! The lady who works here took me right in and switched out my piercing that was too small and replaced it so it could heal properly. Very nice people!!!

Had my tongue pierced here, and just a back story...Ive had it before, and it got infected immediately due to negligence of the piercer. They didnt inform me on proper care. ANYWAYS, Flesh Gear did my tongue piercing for second time - just wow. She was super professional, gave me loads of information about after care, and I barely felt the initial piercing of my tongue. She was so careful, and smooth. I will always take my piercing needs to Flesh Gear ❤️

It took the piercer 5 tries to line up my double lip piercing. When I got home, the stud unscrewed. They would not cover my cab fare for going back. That night I woke up and the other piercing fell out. Absolutely unprofessional. never would recommend

We came from Colorado and stopped here. They are clean friendly and amazing people. They answer any questions you may have. They are honest not one of those places that tell you whatever to make a dollar. I love this place n will always go here when I am in town. We went there for piercings 3 of us all very happy :)

Great placeI had a piercing done there and it was very clean, with nice and funny staff. They know their stuff and make you feel comfortable. Definitely would go there again if I want something else done.

It tool me sometime to think about how to reveiw this one. First i would like to say they are really nice (make sure your id is up to date). Second i would like to say its super clean. This last part is kind of what you are looking for.... My daughter got a tattoo here and it seemed ok until later in the evening when she took one the plastic and it looked like someone had taken chunks out of her skin. Her tattoo started to dry and scab really bad. Its now been a week and 2 day since she got it and its faded and still scabbing over. I was going to get my next tattoo with them but i saw what happened to her and then another man showed us his. Ill never go here again and thats sad because like i said super clean and nice people.

It took a minute for the tattoo artist to warm up to us, but Im paying for their skills, not their personalities (🤔 are the two really separable 😅). My piece turned out exactly as Id wanted. Now, just to wait and watch it heal ❤️ #FirstTattoo

I have been going to this shop for years and I love the vibe of all the artists. George has done multiple pieces for me and nails it each time.

Went once to have an earring put in my cartlige. Young kid, did just the badic. No gloves, seemed to be in a hurry. Even though thetvwere not busy. The ball fell off in 1 week. Went back, had a very nice person who opened every thing in front of me, wore gloves and used plyers to tighten it on. I wish i would have hotten hos name, but he had red hair

They don’t answer the phone. They don’t reply to texts wouldnt give me an estimate I had tried to talk to them for a while honestly if a place can’t answer a simple call or text not sure why I’d even consider getting a tattoo there either.

The peircer made my snake bites uneven. Put a long post in one which healed fine but put a short post in the other not leaving enough room to heal properly

The guy did my sisters piercing and he was extremely rude. He wouldnt let me record anything but wouldnt tell me straight out he didnt want to be in the video he just asked if I was done. Not coming back.

Thanks for telling me you would be open when I called and then shut down early so I drove for nothing. Super professional. Just say that you are closing early instead of telling me you have multiple artists available to do a 10 min tattoo.
