Drew is the man. Best tattoo artist in Kansas. I love my Phoenix Feather with eye Tattoo! The best, exceeded my expectation, so realistic and looks better than my reference photo! Dope tattoo Ive had. Fast and almost couldn’t even feel it. I felt relax.. He was nice to squeeze me in his hectic schedule. I recommend his place. I suggest calling or get an appointment because it’s a busy tattoo shop! You will never regret coming to this place!!! You deserved more than 5 stars my guy! Look at the results!!!

Amazing, drew has done two of my tattoos and was great. Got me in fast and done fast. Gave me time to relax and a redbull to keep my hydrated. Drew is a fabulous artist and cant wait for the new shop to open up!

I am forever thankful for their amazing talent. My significant other as well as myself decided to get a tattoo in memory of a loved one who passed on both sides of our family. Jason got us in Asap. Although they were busy, they got us in. Jason did our tattoos and we are definitely in love with them and very appreciative. Jason took his time, made them PERFECT, and he did amazing! The owner (Drew) is also great. He was personable and professional. Aside from receiving beautiful tattoos, they had nothing but positive vibes and a great atmosphere. But again, amazing art! We will return sooner than later! Thank you again, not only to Drew and Jason, but thank you as well to Emma! I highly recommend them if you would like amazing art work with a great experience! Friday the 13th was a great day got a great tattoo. Showed Drew what I had in mind and he made it even better than what I thought. Really love the shop, cleanest shop I’ve been in. Very welcoming environment.

If I could give more stars, I would. Drew is not only one of the best artists I’ve been to, but he’s extremely professional. I brought my artwork ideas to him and he explained how to put different pieces to work best with the movement of my arms. I was a bit hesitant to come into the shop because of the reviews. It definitely was nothing like the reviews were saying. Drew did a great job on my cover up and though we are still working on it Im very happy with the work and atmosphere. Its a very welcoming shop with great conversation. They are down to earth and friendly. Definitely will continue to go back for all of my future work. Ill also recommend drew for anyone else interested that I come in contact with. Absolutely wonderful.

I had the best experience at JC tattoo, Sam at the front is so kind, Bailey took the time to talk to me to make sure i loved what she drew up. Andrew did my tattoo & he did THE best job . He made sure to talk me through and show me expiration dates on everything so i would be more comfortable, I got 3 small tattoos & he took the time to make sure it was where i wanted with the font i wanted. While i was getting my tattoo he kept checking on me to make sure i was doing ok. & afterwards he made sure i was happy with how it turned out. Andrew had a stencil for my tattoo but he took his time & made sure it was HIS tattoo, he shaded it how he saw fit and it turned out even better than the picture i had given him. He worked around my budget and had so much respect for the military community. While i was there EVERRYONE was so accommodating. I can’t wait to go back for my next tattoo at Junction City Tattoo. ❤️

My son met with Drew yesterday morning after he was recommended to him. He brought a picture of what he was kind of wanting with few changes. Drew was very friendly and brought my son’s tattoo to life. I was a little worried because it was so big but the art work is absolutely beautiful and I will now be scheduling my next session with Drew too. They took the time to show the dates on all equipment used and practiced all appropriate universal precautions to prevent infections. If you are looking for an artist that is passionate about his work and making sure his clients have a clean and safe experience this is your guy!

I went in yesterday because they had a deal for Friday the 13th. I went in expecting a simple but cool tattoo. I left with an amazingly done work of art. I am so happy with how my tattoo turned out and everyone was super nice and I had such a good time. Definitely recommend.

Amazing work, got a half sleeve from here. The shop is very clean and the atmosphere is very chill pricing is good and reasonable. My tattoo artist Drew is a very funny and cool guy (kept me laughing throughout the sessions) but most of all a professional artist that does professional work! Top tier and he’s quick too but not too quick that it seems like he’s rushing. Overall I’m very happy that I chose this shop!

First time going to this tattoo shop and it was all around fantastic. Skylar at the front desk was very nice and helpful, getting everything set up. Jason spent hours doing a perfect sacred geometric design on my thigh, very detailed and precise. The end product exceeded my expectation and looked more amazing then i envisioned. Drew and Jason got an amazing thing going on there, great to chat with the whole time. They know what they’re doing and love doing it.

Never been here before, been wanting to check it out, finally came in and honestly I don’t regret it.Drew hooked me up with a SICK hand tat, and made sure the rest of my fingers were touched up🫶🏽 the vibes were awesome, and he was amazingly light handed. For a hand tattoo, there was some spicy parts to be expected, but I didn’t expect this tattoo to be a breeze like it was. I loved that he showed me the needles and ink sealed and the dates on them as well. I don’t think I’ve ever had an artist do that. Definitely liked the experience and my art 🫶🏽

Drew and the rest of the team have this way of making you feel at home. From their welcoming energetic spirits, to their helpfulness. They really go to the extra lengths to make sure you leave satisfied and happy. After my 1st tattoo from drew i decided that I’m definitely finishing both my arm sleeves with him. This shop is also military friendly. For those of you who are on the fence about coming here, do it.. I promise you’ll be booking a second appointment right after. Oh yea and i don’t know if it’s just me but they give me hella snacks when ever i come through to get yatted (tattooed)

Went as a walk-in and was in the chair within 30-45 minutes. Drew was my artist and he is one of the best artists I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with to this day! He was fair and reasonable with the price, and has massive amounts of knowledge about tattoos in general. 10/10 I would recommend this shop to any and everyone. I will definitely be going back!

Insanely great service. Owner is really good and works fast. Gave me a great discount for being military. His apprentice is already super good and learning fast. NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY!!! MILITARY PERSONNEL BEWARE!!!! The worse managed tattoo shop i have ever seen and heard of. Seems like a recurring pattern of messing up appointments, especially for military personnel. Not sure if they are attempting to scam military members, but it is sketchy that they will have them pay in full for services, set a scheduled date, and magically the day a service member arrives for their scheduled appointment their name will be removed from schedule with someone elses name placed there or a walk-in already in the chair. They definitely place priority on walk-ins over scheduled clients who HAVE ALREADY PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS UP FRONT FOR A DESIGN/SERVICE. Messsing up a persons appointments for almost a YEAR can only be put on poor management for so long until it seems like a shady business. Most people are aware military rotate in and out of the area. It seems they might be trying to get payment in full and put off the work until the military member has to move on due to their duties at no choice of their own and for the shop to WHAT? KEEP THEIR MONEY????? I CANT THINK OF ANY OTHER BUSINESS THAT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY UPFRONT FOR A SERVICE THEN NOT PROVIDE THAT AGREED UPON SERVICE ON THEIR END. Also, this isnt just personal experience this has been discussed with other locals who are military who have had the same issues with scheduling and paying upfront.Thank you for keeping $2,000 from a service member with barely half the work completed and months of no response.

This is Tattoo Shop! Love the excellent vibe, the communication between artist and customer I can rate a for sure 10/10. I’ve came to this building once and wanted to work on horror. Artist Drew nailed it on the dot by also assisting me on characters I couldn’t think of/forgot of during the time. His work is clean and then for some reason if you need a touch up he will take a little time out of his day to try to fix the work that he made. I highly suggest to come get a tattoo here. You can even stop by to see their choices on $50 Tattoos! I heard of it but I never think to see it in person. Will for sure be coming back again. Thanks again for a splendid time. Drew at Junction City Tattoo was a dream to work with! I have been in contact with Drew for a few months discussing my tattoo. He was super helpful & eager to get me in the shop. The shop is incredible, super cool place. Drew gave us a tour when we arrived, made sure I was hydrated & comfortable. AND my tattoo looks amazing. I got a small tattoo but Drew made sure to get me all numbed up and that I was ok before I headed home. We were in and out in about an hour. Incredible atmosphere, incredible folks, incredible service! 10/10 recommend.

Best atmosphere Ive ever encountered at a Tattoo Shop. While getting a multiple-session sleeve, everyone has always been upbeat and friendly with a lot of jokes. This has been the best quality of tattoo Ive ever received with by far the least amount of pain. Dedication to aftercare and checking in on healing progress are things Ive never experienced with prior tattoos. They care about their work and theyre the best ones at it. Junction City is incredibly lucky to have this level of shop within its limits.

Drew and max were awesome, the vibe of the shop made us all feel very comfortable and like we were in good hands. I’m a difficult client to tattoo due to Tourette’s but drew did amazing with it. We were there an hour past close and he was very patient. The place is super clean and both are very talented artists. 10/10 would come again. Pricey but worth it

SUPER Positive Review for Drew @JunctionCityTattoo. The whole shop was clean & the environment was awesome. Me & my family lost my dad 6 days ago & 5 of us wanted to get a tatt super last minute (literally asked TODAY) and they were more than happy to do this for all of us. Drew guarantees his work. He did a phenomenal job on my tattoo making sure everything is the best. Mine took 2 sessions and he had to touch it up the second time, which he did at no cost just like an artist is supposed to. I gave him a $100 tip and he decides to use it for a next project for my wife so now she already has a deposit. Their shop is also super clean and organized. Called and walked in on Monday to set up an appointment. I was itching and ready to get my tattoo done. Here we are Wednesday (2 days later) and I get a call that an opening is available and I get PUMPED. Walk in, give my payment, just hanging out. Then boom here we go, drew calls me back and we go over the design. He took my tattoo idea and turned it into a masterpiece of realism. I was nervous yes because it was shying a little away from my original thought, but none the less it looked awesome! The piece is covering my whole right shoulder blade.This man got me comfortable and knocked out this tattoo in just under 2 hours. He had a steady hand, and his hand wasnt too heavy. He talked me through the whole thing letting me know what he was doing, keeping me distracted, just all around having a great time! He is very professional when it comes to his work, and at the same time while hes working he will goof around, make you laugh, and get your mind off of the sting of the needle. Drew is a true artist. I got two large tattoos on my inner bicep and my inner forearm all in one setting. He is a very experienced artist really no pain at all could have probably fell asleep but Drew was so fun to talk to the hours flew by. Very detailed simply awesome. I was able to get my tattoo completed in a very professional and timely manner by Drew. The tattoo he did is my absolute favorite out of all of my tattoos (and I have MANY). He was very patient with me and didnt have a heavy hand. He let me take breaks whenever I needed and helped me select the best placement for it that flattered my body and that was visible when I wanted to show it off. Recently got a tattoo done here and I must say it was the best tattoo experience I have had overall, super chill vibe in this place that makes you feel super comfortable while getting your tattoo done, and they constantly check up on you. The prices are reasonable especially for the quality of work you are getting. I have 6 tattoos all together from different places and this place has topped them all by far. I highly recommend this place especially for large detailed pieces. Definitely exceeded my expectations!!!

I am fairly picky when it comes to tattoo artists because I have many friends that have had bad experiences with bad artists but this was definitely not a bad experience. This is my third tattoo and the most detailed by far and I love every inch of it. Although I was in the chair for a while, thats fine because I knew Drew was making sure everything was perfect for me. I will absolutely be returning.

The staff was nice but the price and artwork done were not. Really disappointed because I looked at the reviews and thought this place was a good option. Sadly I was wrong. They were overpriced and expected payment up front before I got the tattoo (no I am not talking about the deposit). The work was rushed and the artist went over the skin so much that it broke the skin and it got a little infected the next week. The colors faded a lot as well. Worst of all, it didnt even look like the picture I brought in!If you dont think the colors will show up on someone, please tell them that before changing the colors and tattooing it on them!I dont know if it was because I was an amateur and they thought they could pull one over on me, but Im never coming back.Long story short, Im getting it redone somewhere else.

Before entering the shop, my husband I were a little weary of the shop with the postings on the door reading if you want something cheap go down the street, for, we just wanted something small on our hands. Also, a couple had walked in and right back out right before we walked in. But heck, well give any Junction business a shot! Once we were inside, the artist at the front was helping another customer. After finding a down moment in the conversation with his current customer, he asked what we were looking for. I pulled the picture and showed him where we wanted it. He said they specialize in large work and wouldnt be interested in doing our tattoos. Made us feel like the signs werent about quality of work but money-motivated postings. I was almost in shock by the response. For, both my husband and I combined have over 50 tattoos in over 3 states and never been turned away for art. The shop looked very clean but we obviously wont be returning for work big or small. I would advise new customers to call beforehand to avoid wasting time if your tattoo is going to be on the small side.

I have been in the JC area intermittently, over the past 20+yrs. I was excited and relieved, to find a local artist that went above the standard on professionalism, and artists ability. He counsels very articulately and in great detail, as to what your piece will entail. The fact that hes able to free hand his work speaks volumes about his talent and ability. Lastly, the by appointment only shows a great deal of standard and focus, both on your time, and your patronage . Ive felt like a VIP each appointment. What a great asset to our community!!

The only reason they have these reviews are because they ask you to review while you’re sitting in the shop. At first I loved the shop and the artists but I had to cancel a appointment and was then “shook down” being told “who will take care of his time”. I was never told to put down a payment for appointments. Very unprofessional, I will drive to KS for a good tattoo in a professional environment before I ever return here. TRUST ME MONEY IS NOT A PROBLEM. The comments regarding ALL of your below 5 star reviews are red flags that you artists are child like and unprofessional.

Junction City Tattoo is the best shop I have been to so far. Everyone there is very professional and very customer focused and oriented. Ive gotten three large pieces from them at three different times. I will always go back to Drew because you get what you pay for. They wont be able to stay in the building much longer with all the customers. I was in and out in 3 hours with 2 tattoos, he never had a heavy hand. Down my spine and shoulder blade, I fell asleep on the spine. Both tattoos healed in less than 3 days. Very very little scab on only one. I will be coming back for sure. So I got a tattoo from this place. The tattoo is cute but the color started to fade. I get it bad choice of a color for my skin. I believe it got a little infected too because I had to use Neosporin for it to heal. I even went to a clinic for them to look at it. I went back after a couple months due to my job and told the artist what happened. I didn’t remember who did my tattoo but I do remember his name. He clearly didn’t remember me and wanted to charge me $50 JUST to touch it up, and making it seem like I was wrong. That whole conversation was done in front of his client so that was very unprofessional as well. Like at least do it for free especially when I got the tattoo done there, and the touch up wouldn’t be that bad. So that was a bad tattoo experience for me. Won’t be ever going back.

So I walked in on a referral from my friend Destinee. G greeted me at the front. Very friendly and customer service was on point. Very much so felt like I was seeing a family. Pointed me to the artist Ronzey who actually tatted me THE VERY SAME DAY. Ronzey was super reasonable about his price! His work ethic was amazing as he took his absolute best time making sure my tattoos were on point. Definitely an amazing guy to work with. Coming back for more!!! So happy with my tattoo...Drew came through big time. Had some lyrics from my wedding song and after talking to him I wanted more than just that. Relied on him to come up with an idea and do a custom tattoo without stencils or anything he threw a few lines on my arm with a sharpie and then killed it. Don’t go anywhere else. The price was more than fair when you look at the quality of my piece. It took me over 10 years to get a new tattoo because my last one was bad. I am so happy.

Honestly, this is the best tattoo shop Ive ever been in! They are so welcoming and their work is amazing! I felt so comfortable in the shop, just overall a great experience. Ill definitely be recommending to anyone who asks!

Bottom line: I had my second tattoo done here, and will, without a doubt, be back for more.I went in with a pretty solid idea for a tattoo. Dave made some tweaks and executed flawlessly; I couldn’t be happier. The guys were welcoming, professional, and completely lacked the pretentious attitude I’ve seen in a couple other shops. I was there for about 4 hours and I think I got a decent idea for how things run at Junction City Tattoo. A few examples:o There were a number of walk ins. They took care of the ones they could, but told others to make an appointment or come back because, “we’re not going to rush through what we have now just to get more in today.” This showed in all three pieces (including mine) I saw completed while I was there.o A fresh out of IET private was getting a tattoo. He had a budget, but was willing to go over if need be. He was told that they’d stay within his budget and he was welcome to come back after a paycheck or two for more work. I can’t stress enough how much this impressed me as an Army leader to see a local business caring that much about a young Soldier’s finances while also ensuring he got what he wanted.o Drew offered discounts to customers if they came and helped pick up trash around JC with him.In summary, Junction City Tattoo does excellent work, cares about their customers and their art, and is making a positive impact in the community. I had a great experience and will be recommending them to anyone I know that’s looking for a tattoo.

Everyone was very friendly when I came in; the artist, Omar, took care of me and he helped me with a custom tattoo I wanted. He did a wonderful job with it and it turned out better than even I thought it would. From 1 artist to another, I give the guys at JC tattoo a huge thumbs up.

Ive gotten two tattoos now from this place and Drew is the best! He does great work and the shop is very clean and sanitary. Will definitely be back for more!

Great staff and atmosphere in the shop. Drew came in clutch and hooked me up with an amazing new piece. He really put his heart into it and it shows. You get what you pay for and it was worth every dollar.
