New Era Tattoo Studio

After having numerous poor experiences at other shops this was by far the best experience at a tattoo shop ever! These people are some of the most down to earth, open minded people I’ve met! They made the atmosphere inviting, and made me feel comfortable asking for changes! Had some amazing conversations and overall just a great time! I left feeling happy and excited about my new art! Kevin Quick beautifully completed my tattoo I’ve been wanting for 2 years! Thank you guys!

Took our daughter for her first tattoo! White boy quick is beyond great. We ended up all getting tattoos. This was an excellent experience. Quick made my daughter and us feel extremely comfortable. His professionalism and communication is amazing. I would definitely get another tattoo from him, if we werent leaving. However, I do highly recommend him to anyone looking for great tattoo!

Omar was absolutely amazing, I gave him a general idea of the tattoo I wanted and I gave him complete freedom to create his own piece of art and he did absolutely that. He took a small vision I had in my head and made it into something so beautiful and unique. I love that he free handed parts of the tattoo to make it even more unique. I have been with Johnny over a year now. It began at JC tattoo then he moved to New Era. I have gotten well over 8 tattoos from Johnny. When I first met Johnny he was flirtatious and would ask to take me out to eat with him and he would give me discounts on his tattoos if I brought him customers. He even insisted I come to his place to get my first tattoo done. This made me a little uncomfortable at the time but he was a good artist. I liked his work, but that was all. I brought Johnny over 10 customers, some that still book with him to this day. From that I’ve gotten discounted on every single tattoo and a few that were even free (HE INSISTED). I was very grateful, and still tipped him well because he did great work. This was until he began to get more buisness. He began working in Texas, Maryland, and Kansas and only likes bigger pieces. I 100% understand that you have to make your money. But I do not respect him not keeping his word and being un loyal to original customers. I have a droopy smiley face tattoo that he mentioned would fade over time and he’d touch it up, he mentioned he owed me 2 free tattoos (these would have been very small tattoos, obviously larger tattoos I paid for), he then mentioned he would touch up my sleeve that he did way too light, and that he would finish my sleeve as well. Again, I understand you gotta make your money. But I was always willing to pay. Now I have to finish my sleeve with an entire new artist and I’m furious. Crazy how ever since I began dating someone he’s no longer had the time to get me an appointment (I would never have to wait longer than a month for an appointment). I said what I said.

I’ve been searching for the perfect artist to cover my tattoo for over 5 years. John at new era tattoo is amazing! Extremely clean and professional. The shop is such a great environment and John really helped me decide on how I should cover my tat and start my sleeve. I definitely recommend this shop! Prices are reasonable as well. I will be going back for sure!

I went to this place a little while ago but had an awesome experience. Omar is a fantastic artist. I went from a subpar tattoo to lettering near my wrist that I was actually proud of.Just some background: I have a full right arm sleeve, 2 pieces on my back, 3 pieces on my left arm, and both sides done. Most of my tattoos have been done by one person. Still, I would trust Omar to do all of my tattoos based on the professionalism and expertise he showed when I was getting my wrist redone.Thank you Omar!

My husband and I went to Cody Wolfe. I hadnt had a tattoo done in 15 years so I was a bit nervous. When we first started I got lightheaded/dizzy and he made sure to stop and gave me some water and chocolate and wouldnt start again until I was feeling back to normal. He made me super comfortable in a situation that could have been embarrassing. Super chill, laid back, and easy to talk to. He also did such a AMAZING job on my tat it was way more than I expected. I had a great experience at New Era Tattoo! Will definitely be going back to Cody in the future.

I have gotten two tattoos done by them in the last couple weeks. One was a memorial tattoo i have for my best friend. I was a walk in that day and only had a picture of what i had drawn as a rough sketch. Johnny was amazing when he redrew it. I couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo. My other one was one for me and my fiancé. It was done by Cody. I only had a picture of toothless and stitch with and idea for it. He was able to do it exactly how I envisioned it. Down below are the tattoos. The one with balloons was done by Johnny and the Stitch and Toothless was done by Cody. I couldn’t have asked for better tattoo artists. They would sit there and just talk to you about anything and everything.

I’ve gotten 90% of my work from Quick. Amazing tattoos constantly. Everyone in the shop is amazing and I can count on New Era every time.

John at New Era has been my go to artist for a long time. His work has always been consistent. From clean lines to smooth shading, he really is a master of his craft. Environment is comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend John or anyone at New Era if you looking to get some work done.

Overall, New Era Tatto Studio is one of Junction Citys top businesses in my experience thus far. Professionally trained artists who excel in what they do. Omar, the owner, is very laid back and produces incredible work. Cody is the person Ive been going to personally, and hes a talented artist. You wont be let down when you leave after a session because of the pleasant atmosphere. If you are interested in getting a tattoo, I would highly recommend this shop.

My latest edition to my arm is my parents handwriting and I can’t express enough how amazing this is! Not only the meaning but the time that Omar took to be sure it was exact, to the letter. Picture also includes another tattoo Omar did for me. The lioness is spot on to what I wanted and the script is beyond perfect. The line work is on point and I couldn’t be more happy. Omar is not only so talented in his work but is also an amazing person to talk to while getting a tattoo. Definitely going to coming back for more tattoos in the future… and you should definitely consider it as well 😁

Johnny did these two pieces on me about 2 weeks ago. He took his time with the stencil & made sure I was happy with the placement. There was no rush with anything, he showed me multiple designs/ideas of what I wanted. Very clean & sanitary. I felt comfortable & relaxed the whole time! 10/10 recommend ☺️Definitely won’t be going to another artist around Kansas.

I had my tat done by Omar and it turned out amazing!! My friends have gone to him plenty of times and it finally was my turn. He has a dope vision for any tat idea you bring to him. By the time he finished my tat I was completely shook at the detail and quality. He literally put my other tats to shame 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 definitely plan on going back. The price is good for the quality and sizes. I’ve started telling everybody about his shop LOL and I live a hour away.

Started my sleeve about 2 years ago, it was messed up severely by another artist. Omar did this amazing tattoo which is now the focal point of my sleeve! He made a bad experience into a great experience. I can’t even tell you how many compliments I get every day on it! Amazing work, amazing artist! He’s number one In JC!

I’ve had two tattoos done by John and he is a true professional. Very easy to contact and willing to work with you to give you the best work around. He’s taken both my ideas and added more detail and overall effort than I imagine a different artist from any other shop would. I plan on going back to him in the near future.

I went to Omar and I can’t get over how much I love his work as well as just the shop in general! Both the artists at the shop have some serious talent, are friendly, and keep a super clean and overall welcoming space. Seriously can’t recommend enough.

Sep 23 2021 just got a tattoo from Cody, my first tattoo, some text on my ribs. Cody was so chill, helpful, willing to work with me and my friends even after closing. He has my business, highly recommend this business.
