I came in with a nose piercing that was not healing right at all, did not have an appointment, but they had the time and saw me and fixed my mess of a piercing right there on the spot. The place is lovely and pristine, and Julian took the time to thoroughly explain to me what went wrong and the best way to fix the situation. He was incredibly nice and obviously very experienced. The process was quick and he was gentle so I did not experience any pain. Price was beyond fair as well. Overall, beautiful, clean studio and great service. Now I get to keep my whole nose! Came on vacation to Kauai and Went for a consult for my 6 year old daughter. Julian gave us a lot of good information, he didn’t pressure us at all to get a piercing. Due to our lifestyle and it being summer it was decided it was not the best time to get my daughter a piercing. He recommended information where to get a safe piercing in our home area and went over all the after care instructions and types of piercing and materials to consider in the future whenever we decided to move forward with piercing her ears. Even though we didn’t get pierced the information was extremely helpful and we plan to get her ears pierced in fall. Definitely would recommend Julian.

I had a cartilage (helix) earring fall out while at the beach and decided to book a visit to Ganesha for a replacement. The helix piercings on both of my ears are about six and a half months (though not fully) healed now, but the temporary/former jewellery were either not fit for cartilage or poor quality, respectively. I ended up getting replacement jewellery for each helix. I feel so much better with the new ones now!Upon walking in to Ganesha you will be greeted by a clean, comfortable shop with an extensive selection of jewellery. Talk about a high end piercing shop! Julian is such an experienced and professional piercer. He only carries the best jewelry, maintains a sparkly clean shop, and does his best to ensure his clients are comfortable and informed. I’ve never been so happy with my piercing!! It hasn’t even been a week since I got this helix piercing and it’s been healing so well, no swelling or irritation. This is the best of the best for piercing, anywhere! The shop is gorgeous, meticulously clean, and Julian, the owner, is talented, knowledgeable, ultra professional, personable, and reasonably priced. The display room is set up like a fine jewelry shop. My 16-year-old got a septum and double nostril piercings and has had no problems whatsoever and theyre perfectly spaced and aligned. We wont go anywhere else for piercings.

I’ve pierced my nose and re-opened my belly button piercing, and Julian was always extremely professional clean and helpful.I got one of the jewelries for my belly button and after a few months the gem fell off, I was devastated since I paid $90 for it.When I called to ask what can be done, I was happy to know that they stand behind their product and Julian replaced my jewelry with a new one with no fee!The prices of the jewelry are higher than the average,But the quality of care and service is so worth it :)))I’ll gladly pay for more new jewelry from this place!

Julian was a delight to meet. I came in because I got a helix piercing done somewhere else 5 days ago. I noticed My ears started to become very swollen, and red and I started to develop a little lump next to my newly pierced ears. I came into see Julian and spoke to him about what happened, He was so helpful and informative! He recommended I take the piercings out right away because my ears were just having a really bad reaction. He offered to take the piercings out himself, because he said my ears were just so swollen, it was my body telling me it was rejecting it. His place was super clean, he was very professional. He didnt charge me anything, and I was so grateful I went to him! I definitely will go back :)

I arrived on Kauai with a 5 week old conch piercing. It was time for the bar to be changed out so I decided it would be fantastic to add another diamond to the 9 I already have. Since my piercing was done at a tattoo shop in Ft Worth, I started my search for a reputable shop. After checking out Google (how did we survive in prior years without Google!) I learned that Farsyde Tattoo was the only place to go. I spoke with Rob and he explained they do not do piercings but the ONLY person to see was Julian at Genesha Body Piercing. I called Julian, and since he was just closing, we agreed to meet the following morning. Just entering his delightful place of business was a wonderful experience. Not only is his shop clean, modern and beautiful but karma instantly surrounds you. I was greeted as if I was an old friend! The jewelry he offers is beautiful and high quality. We worked together to find the perfect piece. I went in with a specific piece in mind and left with a stunning earring! I could not be happier, not only with my experience, but meeting this kind professional man. If you are interested in a piercing while on the island, do yourself a favor and go see Julian!

Dude is overpriced, unprofessional & rushed everything. I’ve never paid $200 for an ear piercing to have the “professional” piercer straight up scream at me like a bad child for pointing out he wanted to pierce directly into a blood vessel in my ear. Bet he would’ve screamed even more if I bled because of his screw up. Zero customer service skills & when I mention this dude to piercers on the mainland, several have told me this is not the first time they have heard a story like this. It’s been years and I still think about what a horrible experience dealing with Julian was. You ain’t nothing but $$ to him and he makes it super clear.

Prior to visiting Kauai, the captive ball in my tragus ring had fallen out. After multiple attempts to replace it myself and enlisting the help of my husband we could not get the ball back in. Unable to visit a shop before leaving the mainland, I just left the hoop in my ear and decided to deal with it later. Upon arrival to Kauai my husband and I ate at a local restaurant and I overheard Julian Ganesha speaking to another patron about owning the only all piercing studio in Hawaii. I bugged my husband for two days to take me there! Julian has a stunning variety of all kinds of body jewelry. The shop was not only impeccably clean, but also beautiful. Julian allowed me to tinker with all the tragus jewelry while I made a decision (I tend to be a little indecisive, so this was quite awhile). The jewelry prices may sound steep, but he stands behind the company that supplies the jewelry, it is made in America and has lifetime guarantee. I decided on a beautiful piece of clustered gemstone jewelry and I could not be more happy with my choice!!! Julian is knowledgeable, has been in the piercing industry for over 25 years and just seemed like a damn good guy! We enjoyed great conversation and I never once felt uncomfortable as I have sometimes felt in the past in piercing or tattoo studios. I definitely recommend stopping into his studio in the Dragon Building in Kapaa.

Look no further!My teenage daughter had her second ear piercings. She was very determined to have them (because why where only 2 earrings, when you can wear 4?), but is as always was terrified of needles.Mr. Ganesha walked her through care steps first, which was quite important for vacation planning purposes, explained things in a manner that allows one to provide a true informed consent, and later walked her through all of the steps of the process, which was exactly what she needed. Piercing ended up being bloodless and almost painless. She later commented that the aftercare solution, that was provided, helps a lot too.The store is very clean, selection of jewelry is good, process is very efficient.Mr. Ganesha seems to belong to the old school of professionals, who not only take pride in their work, but also treat ones body parts as a part of a human, rather as some random inanimate objects, which, unfortunately is often the case.Local tattoo parlors spoke highly of him too.I am very happy that the experience, that could have been quite stressful turned out to be very pleasant.

My experience here was absolutely amazing. I’ve gotten my ears pierced at four other places in my life, and they all got infected, were red for a long long time, and hurt like hell. At this place, however, it didn’t hurt at all. It’s only been 3 days since I’ve gotten an industrial bar pierced into my ear and I can bend my ear and touch it (with clean hands lol) without it hurting WHATSOEVER! It’s also not red at all. It’s really unlike any other piercing I’ve ever gotten. Julian is also extremely nice, helpful and professional :) it’s so comfortable there, and the price is more than worth the experience. The quality of this place is really apparent

The owner is fabulous! We were down the hall getting tattoos and the kiddo wanted a piercing so she went to his store and he was gone getting something for the shop. So we waited and it was totally worth it. We stepped in and he gave all five of us ice cold water and chocolates. He thoroughly educated the kiddo on and about the piercing process and the after care. The shop is super cool and the jewelry he carries is beautiful and high quality. I lost my naval ring surfing and needed a replacement while on vacation. I stopped in here and was greeted with a lovely and clean little shop with beautiful rings and jewelry. My choice of ring was then anodized in front of me to my choice of color. I had the intention of just grabbing a cheapy to keep in place until I got home from vacation but this was top notch and Ill keep this ring for a long time!
