Arwen has done all three of my tattoos, and I will never go anywhere else. He was able to create the tattoo of my dog, and he drew up each piece so beautifully and exactly how I imagined. He is incredibly talented and super fun to talk to! He has made me feel very comfortable during each of my appointments, and he is always willing to change anything you would like. His work is absolutely breath taking, and I would recommend anyone who is into his style of tattoos to go to him! I can’t wait until I get my next tattoo!

Even though I live a few hours away, I get all of my piercings and tattoos here and I will never go anywhere else. Trinity is my piercer and she does a fantastic job. I went to her for my first piercings ever and she made the entire process comfortable and easy! She told me exactly what she was doing at all times so that I knew what was going on and even helped me select the right jewelry. Arwen is my tattoo artist and I’ve never had a better tattoo experience in my life. Arwen was able to turn my ideas into drawings within MINUTES! They’re a super cool dude and will make your tattoo experience a breeze. If I could give 200 stars, I would.Better people.Better tattoos.

Dana gave me the cleanest line tattoo! She was so helpful helping me to design and put together my tattoo. The whole shop was super clean, professional and helpful. I absolutely recommend everyone go there. The level of service and excitement about their work makes this the shop to go to!!

Trinity is a phenomenal piercer! After getting my doubles pierced by her I kept coming back to her for other piercings. She made me feel so comfortable and she always made sure it was the perfect placement. And if I wanted it moved to the side a little more she was so patient. The prices are very reasonable, and her friendly demeanor helped me relax and not be so nervous. Her communication while setting up the appointment was very professional! I got my bridge pierced by Trinity last night and had the most amazing experience!! I truly felt at home and felt like I fit right in with everyone there. Trinity was incredibly accommodating to my needs, and I never once felt out of place or intimidated, even though a needle was going through my skin! She walked me through the piercing process, and was incredibly thorough in placement in order to give me the best piercing possible, and I think she hit the nail on the head. Jacob is very patient, calm, and helpful. He helped me figure out sizing, exact placement, and design and made sure I was happy with it before tattooing. He was a relaxed calming presence throughout. The tattoo came out beautifully like I had pictured. I am very satisfied and grateful for the excellent service!

Ive gotten a few piercings here from Trinity and I will keep coming back! She always walks through the steps of the piercing as she does it and is always willing to look at my piercings when they flare up, even when its not vital to have them checked. Trinity makes you feel comfortable from the moment your interaction begins and you get a little treat bag after!

I had an issue with the Ravanna location, but the owner of the company personally reached out to me and made the situation beautiful and sent me to the kent location for it to be corrected! The piercer, Rachel, was super nice! I got the Tragus done, and it healed wonderfully as well! Thank you for a great experience!!

I got my conch pierced by Rachel and she was so good!!! She explained everything that was happening and told me when to breathe in and out to help with it! I also almost passed out and she was so quick to give me sugar lol. Will def be coming back and seeing her again!!

I got my tattoo done by Rob Conti and it was absolutely amazing. He took my simple idea and created an incredible half sleeve masterpiece that represents my kids and myself. It took 2 sessions to complete and he kept up with me on how it was heaking and to schedule anothwr session once the first one was fully healed. My tattoo was done so well, the lines are clean, the shading is perfect and the colors are beautifully done. He explained after care and the experience was just fantastic. Im saving up money to schedule my next bIg piece and will definitely be going back. I recommend War Horse to EVERYONE!!!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience while getting matching tattoos with my family. Arwen is an absolute gem and is very professional about the entire process. Over the last year I’ve been going to Rachel for different piercing ideas that come to mind. She has always been so accommodating and understanding of what I’m looking for. She talked me through what they were doing and made sure I felt comfortable during the piercing. Overall, Rachel is my go to for all things piercing.

Tried to set up an appointment with their piercer Trinity through her instagram cause it says its where she takes her appointments, she takes days to respond but when we finally got to picking appointment days she gave me three days to pick from so I picked a day and asked if the time was good for her and she never replied (my appointment was supposed to be 4 days after our last text), I showed up cause I didnt want her to be expecting me and not show (it was an hr and a half drive for me but I chose her cause an ex friend said she was a great piercer) but I was told she was sick for the past couple days and couldnt come in. So she wasted my gas and time cause she couldnt be bothered to send a 2 min text to her client. I said ok and left expecting her to reach out when she felt better but she never did, its been over 2 weeks but I know shes feeling better cause shes posting on her Instagram all the new piercings shes currently doing. Talk about unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone that actually has a job and needs to set up appointments for things cause they clearly cant be bothered to actually talk to their clients and let their clients know whats going on or if something came up.

So so happy with my tattoos. Joe is the best. He is so patient with me. He did this tiny bat and redid a butterfly on my wrist.

This girl was clueless and had to “go ask” multiple times she at first wouldn’t take my drivers license but then told me she could but wouldn’t accept that me and my moms last names don’t match even though our addresses do and on the website it says they accept that my mom then went to pull up a picture of my birth certificate but they only take physical copies I am mixed and my mom is white I am positive that is why. She was looking at me weird the entire time so I went somewhere else and got it done in 5 minutes.

So I went to trinity because a friend said she was great and she was right! The atmosphere of the place was ecstatic! Definitely going back!

I had a great experience! the person at the desk who did my paperwork was extremely friendly and the person who did my piercings was absolutely wonderful. so sweet! they went above and beyond to make sure i was comfortable and constantly checked in on me. unfortunately the piercing on my right nipple ended up crooked, but i personally dont mind and its not enough to detract from my rating. accidents happen! excellent atmosphere and fantastic staff.

Maddy is amazing. She did both my boyfriend and I’s first tattoos in April and they both turned out exactly how we wanted. We came back today to get more and she was super sweet again and understanding of our schedules when booking. She made us both comfortable each time and was super welcoming. She is very talented and I highly recommend her :)

I got lucky enough to meet Kyler at their flash sale and have since been going to them for multiple tattoos! Ive always had a great experience with them. They are very comforting, informative and listen and talk you through things! They always make it a great experience getting tattooed. I’ve been to this Warhorse location plenty of times. I’ve gotten 8 of my 10 tattoos done by Maddy and every time I go there, it’s to see her. She’s a light handed artist who does amazing line work. Had an amazing experience with Julie and her apprentice Trinity. They both made us feel so comfortable and at ease from the moment we walked through the door till we left! Did an awesome job with the piercings, very quick, sterile and great communication throughout, and explained aftercare in detail. I also love that she offers 1 month check ups to ensure everything is healing right! 100% recommended for anyone who is nervous or new to getting piercings!

I love that War Horse Ink has a platform you send your tattoo idea to when you’re a first time guest. I started going to Taylor at the beginning of the year and have been back several times. She made me very comfortable for my first ever tattoo and continues to do so everytime I go back. I can give her the most basic idea and she always comes back with the best tattoos. I would definitely recommend going to see her!

I literally just had a rook piercing done by Julie here. Julie was very knowledgeable about piercings, was so kind and she spoke to me through the entire, brief, process of getting this piercing. I really appreciated that, as I was obviously nervous about the pain, which wasn’t that bad and was seriously only like 5 seconds. But that helps me keep my mind off of it. Highly recommend her! Also, the studio seemed very clean and definitely had a very friendly atmosphere! Felt comfortable the whole time I was there.Update because I got a tattoo done by Joe here yesterday and it was so great! Really everyone here is so kind. Joe made sure I was comfortable for the entire 3-4ish hours I was there. He did a really great job on the piece! He was also super polite and professional. I never once felt uncomfortable!

I’ve gotten pierced by Julie a couple times now and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. She provides a safe, clean, professional environment while making her clients feel comfortable and excited about their new piercings. She is even able to customize the jewelry you’re getting! The prices are pretty reasonable and Julie offers specials quite frequently. I haven’t had a tattoo here yet but because of my awesome experience with the piercings, I have an appointment scheduled in July! Definitely recommend this shop for piercings :)

I received a tattoo from a artist at War Horse Ink, Kent about a month ago. I love it and Taylors the best. It is my 4th tattoo. Everyone asks about it and the others that I have. She did a awesome job. I want to thank her and my other favorite artist Scott at War Horse Ink, Streetsboro. He did the other 3 I have. War Horse Ink has some talented people.

I got my septum pierced today by Julie and she did amazing! The shop in itself was a very comforting and friendly environment. I did a walk-in so I did have to wait awhile, but I have 0 issue with that as I did not have an appointment and they still made time to squeeze me in. It was worth the wait! Julie was such a sweetheart and made the nerve wracking process of getting a piercing much more tolerable. She definitely knew what she was doing, was very professional, and very gentle. She was very easy to talk to and it definitely calmed my nerves a lot. I have 14 piercings and it was definitely my best piercing experience. (Also i have no doubt the other piercers/artists are just as incredible.) Will definitely return if I’m able to. :)

Great experience! came for a septum piercing. Trinity was my piercer and they were lovely! They walked me through every step before we started and warned me before putting on the clamps or pushing the piercing through. was very thorough with walking me through the aftercare as well! would recommend!

I got my first tattoo done here on Thursday 10/4 by Liz. The week before I walked in to talk to her about my design, and she was pleasant and very accommodating. She was receptive towards my ideas and perfectly executed the design I had in mind.The atmosphere is very relaxed. Everyone in the studio is friendly and sociable, yet also dedicated to doing their best work possible. Liz had a very good hand, not at all heavy handed, and made the 2 hours in the chair fly by.Im very pleased with my first tattoo on my forearm, and would highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to have work done.

Joe (War Horse Kent) has done both grandma granddaughter tattoos on myself and two granddaughters. Getting ready to get one for my great granddaughter. Hes an amazing artist we all have many tattoos from him. All the artists in all locations are amazing. I have many tattoos from many of them.

Went in and got my septum pierced today by Trinity. It was so easy and professional! The shop itself is super cool and Trinitys care to ask if I had any questions and educate me about the process was awesome. The pricing was super fair too. Julie is AMAZING!! All my piercings look great and everything goes so smoothly. Shes very detail oriented and covers everything you need to know about aftercare and anything else. I got my rook pierced along with a friend and our piercer, Julie I believe, was as knowledgeable and professional as you could hope for. She was incredibly descriptive of what we needed to do to take care of it and if we had any questions or concerns in the slightest she would be more than happy to help. As two people somewhat nervous about getting piercings, she kept the atmosphere very positive and calm, which is incredibly appreciated. The tools seemed to be incredibly sterile and it was very fairly priced. I would recommend this studio to anyone.

I’ve gotten multiple tattoos (Allyson and Erin) and two piercings (Julie and Gray) done at Warhorse and have nothing but good things to say about them all. Erin does such a wonderful job and is a joy to be around, and makes sure that your vision is executed beautifully! The energy of the whole place and everyone there is so warm and welcoming.

I have 2 amazing Teens who finally got their nerve up to ask my Husband and I for piercings...helix (3) for my Son, and nose for my Daughter. Me being in Pharma (Sterile Injectables) my whole life and an actual Trainer of aseptic technique, I scoured the web for the cleanest shop, with the best person for my Kiddos...and one name kept coming up! Julie at War Horse Ink (40 minutes away). I called to make an appointment and they said it would be a few weeks because she was really booked up, Kids were disappointed...but I knew that was a good sign! Stopped by a few days later and actually met this wonderful lady, she fit us right in a few days later and I cant tell you how right I was. Today was nothing short of amazing! Kindness, sense of humor, personality, knowledge...I could go on for days. But the care for cleanliness and the way that she interacted with my Kids to make this a great first experience was definitely rare and appreciated. Just the fact that Julie does follow up appointments with her clients speaks volumes. When we go back for the Kids checkup, I already have my own appointment scheduled. 😊 Highly Recommend would be an understatement!

Went today with my sister and best friend to get our second lobe piercings. The location was very clean. Nick was amazing and took great care of us! He drove out to another location to get us the earrings we requested. He went the extra mile to make sure we were happy! My first lobe piercings were done when I was a baby and are very uneven. He took a lot of time to carefully place my second ones to make sure they were even. The uneven ones are hardly noticeable now that I have the second one done! My sister is going back to get a third lobe piercing and I will go back to him in the future if I ever decide to get another. Thanks again Nick!!

Ive been looking for a tattoo artist with talent and a good personality and found exactly that yesterday! Tims work is excellent, hes laid back yet professional, with an excellent staff on board. My husband and I were both very pleased with his work and have recommended him and the shop to family and friends already.We also stopped in at the Ravenna location and were equally as pleased to discover the staff there to also be very kind, friendly, and charismatic. We will gladly go back to either location, we hope to return soon!

Came here for my first tattoo! I worked with Joe Rafferty and he did an absolutely amazing job! He made me feel calm and relaxed and talked me though everything including caring for the tat afterwards! I highly recommend War Horse and I highly recommend Joe! My tattoo was completed by Liz, and to say its an amazing tattoo does not do the quality and beauty of the art justice. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend both Liz and War Horse!

I had a great experience with Wyatt today at War Horse Ink! I was able to get in really quickly and Wyatt was really nice and laidback. The shop looked clean and the other employees were actively sanitizing as well (I arrived just after opening). Wyatt opened the new needle in front of me, took his time to do a good job and never made me feel like he was rushing to get my tattoo done even though it was a little one. He charged me a reasonable price as well. I love my piece and I would definitely go back to War Horse Ink. Thanks, Wyatt!

I have 5 tattoos from war horse, and 4 piercings this is the only place I go and all my friends and family go here too. Everyone that works here is so personable and funny and great the store itself is really nice, and clean not dark and “dungeon-y” like some shops. Every artist has a different style and they can come up with a finalized image of literally anything you can think of and customize it to make a tattoo idea exactly what you picture in your head. I love this place so muchUpdate I now have 8 tattoos from here’s and still feel the same way❤️

Completely loved it here! I came in a few weeks after getting a tattoo at Defiance that needed to be covered up (awful experience there), and Tim was extremely professional and took the time to ask exactly what I wanted, what would work to cover it, and ensured me it didnt need to be an all black cover. Tim had a super light hand, worked pretty quickly, and consistently asked me if I needed a break, if there was anything I wanted to change or add, and made me comfortable. The shop was clean, chill, and fairly quiet. Absolutely making War Horse the place I go from now on for tattoos!

I went to War Horse in Streetsboro last week to get a little lightning bolt tattooed on my ankle. Erick was my artist, when I showed up to my appointment he already had a picture reference printed out for me so I could visualize what size I was going for. He was very kind, professional, personable, and dedicated to his work. He made this experience very easy, and when it came down to it the tattoo couldnt have taken more than ten minutes! The little bolt on my ankle looks amazing and he did such a great job paying attention to what I was looking for. I would highly recommend making an appointment with Erick!!

My best friend and I got our first tattoos here together (Rob was our artist, he was great). They were VERY patient with me when I asked a lot of (probably dumb) questions, and were very accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be coming back for my next tattoo!

My piercing experience at war horse in kent was great for the most part. trinity pierced my nostril and was very kind and made the environment very comfortable. however, i picked out the smallest stud and when i looked in the mirror it was a lot bigger than what i chose but i wrote it off and it was fine, whatever. the problem started when i got a bump on the piercing… which is not their fault at all!! but when i tried to contact trinity about it (they said i could dm them on instagram) she never responded and i ended up going to the ravenna location where they told me to “just keep cleaning it and it will go away” when i then went to the derm two days later, I had to get a shot in it! i researched a lot before going to either and it said to go back to the piercer for advice and when i did, they were incorrect. it was also very overpriced for a simple nostril piercing when i chose the smallest stud. i would save your money and go somewhere else. :(

I came here with my friend a few weeks ago and we both got our nipples pierced here. They had two female piercers and pierced both of my nipples at the same time for me. Super friendly people, and overall a great experience. I will be coming back here in a couple weeks for two more piercings and a couple tattoos!

Ally was a life saver last semester! I got in contact with her to fix a horrible botched tattoo that I received years ago. I asked if she could fix it and maybe also do another tattoo. I got a belly button piercing here and I was told by my piercer (Julie) that she had ordered me a different size belly button ring that would fit me better. This was January I have reach out every month since then and still don’t have it. It is December now…. I have been ignored by the piercer and she refuses to answer any of my texts and DMs. Extremely unprofessional. UPDATE: it is now the end of March and still have not received an answer.

I came into the shop to see about a cartilage piercing and within 20 minutes I was in the chair. Julie was amazing, super sweet and very helpful! Any questions I had she was able to answer right away and the place was super clean. I will definitely be back.

I had my septum pierced one other time by the same guy who did all of my tattoos and other piercings at a different shop, I took the ring out to let it close and eventually regretted it. I wanted to get it pierced again but my regular guy was closed. I walked into War Horse with no appointment and they were able to do my piercing for me on the spot. She was more precise than the guy I always go to! She spent 10 whole minutes making sure the forceps were in the right place and making sure the placement for the piercing would look good for my face. Super impressed, and now I tell all my friends to get piercings here 🙂

I had my daith pierced by Granny Julie. She did an amazing job! She was extremely professional, informational and personalible. I have suffered from a constant vestibular migraine for over a year. I was in a lot of pain the day I visited her. I couldn’t even fill out my own personal information on the on the constant form due to the pain I was experiencing. She was very patient and supportive. I would HIGHLY recommended getting any pierce done by her!!!

I had my neck touched up and work added. Once I left the I realized the name was completely misspelled. Thankfully Joe Rafferty was able to fix the mistake and make it look amazing. I definitely will go back to him for future ink work.

My experience here was more then a pleasure.I got my septum pierced and I was very uneasy about it because my biggest fear is needles.I called and talked to Julie and explained that I most likely will faint.She made me so comfortable over the phone about the whole process that I was in the shop getting pierced within the next 30 minutes.Julie made my first piercing so easy that I highly recommend trusting her.Her personality just makes you feel so welcoming no matter if you might faint or not.You can for sure tell she loves what she does and loves meeting knew people.Thank you Julie and War horse ink for having such a great establishment.
