9th Veil Tattoo

Bella was awesome! The whole crew was just great. I went there to get my piercings (tragus and septum) re opened. My septum piercing previously wasn’t a good experience so I was extremely skittish about getting it redone. Everyone was friendly and Bella is the best! If you need your piercings done and some tattoos done (I seen a finished tattoo that was awesome), stop at this place to get it done with a smile!

I went and got a tattoo 2 years ago by Micheal. The service was really good and was very satisfied with my tattoo. The only down side, is that my tattoo is fading after 2 years. I also had another problem. I got my nose pierced about 2/3 weeks ago, the piercing keeps on falling out. I’m not hating on anyone but I just never met someone who had the same piercing with the same problems. I don’t think I’ll be going back for future services.

I went there for this years pride flash tattoo sale and I can confidently say I will be back to start a sleeve. Line work is on point and the vibe as well!👽 It was something simple but I LOVE IT, 2nd tattoo many more to go.

This is the cleanest most professional place I have even been to the owner and crew is so amazing and always provide good vibes. So happy to see sen allow her workers to bring emotional support animal to work. Love the vibe always and atmosphere. So clean and always a great experience.

Not only is this shop filled with friendly, knowledgeable, and professional artists, they are fully inclusive and welcoming to all. I also love that they do flash sales often. Good pricing, clean, and their kindness definitely makes getting tatooed more enjoyable. Nathir is the artist who did my moth, which gets compliments literally every day. Highly recommend this shop especially if you’re a beginner to getting tattooed !!!

Got a small piece done by Dez recently. It was like sitting down with a friend! Definitely going back to her. My tattoo looks fantastic and the shop was very clean and comfortable!

I had an urge to pierce something so i gave 9th Veil a call. They had closed up early for the evening but the girl said she was close by and would come back. The lady was really nice and a great piercer. Shes quick and efficient! Highly recommended. I did take off one star only because they are cash only. I dont ever carry cash.

I have been here many times and I have never left disappointed. The tattoos I had gotten here came out amazing. Austina does great work and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tattoo. The shop is the cleanest I have been in and I have been in many. Will definitely be back soon, just finishing up the drawing of my dads memorial piece.

I wanted to be happy with 9th Veil so badly, but I was incredibly let down and even humiliated. I dont recommend participating in any sales that they offer. Pay discounted price, get mediocre work. Very unhappy with the work that was not even within the range of the price it SHOULD have been. My artistin particular is known for having amazing work. I felt I was absolutely taken advantage of. While being tattooed, the other artists gathered around and judged the already existing work on my body. My artist then brought up a traumatic moment from my past and shared it with everyone there. Not very warm or compassionate employees at all. Incredibly uncomfortable with everything about it. I almost never leave reviews & this breaks my heart to do because I have been a supporter from the beginning, but this experience caused me too much emotional pain.

Absolutely love it at 9th Veil! So far, I’ve had 2 piercings done there by Barbie, and my daughter had 1 done as well. I’ll never go to another piercer! And every tattoo I got there has been done by Dee. I love her work and love the experience each time I’m there with her! Again, I’ve found my artist and I won’t need no other. Thank you guys!!!

Barbie has done all 3 of Mt nose piercings ! Nor a single one I was disappointed in. Shes the best piercer I know in PA. Shes very clean & sterile. Shes a genuine sweet person. Probably one of the most generous piercer I know. She talks you thru the piercing as well before she even gets close to your body with it. 10/10 the best hands down !

I always come here for all my piercings and tattoos. Barbie is a wonderful piercer, and the sweetest. shes done 6 of my piercings, including my eyebrow, my nostril, my vertical labret, both my nipples, and my belly button. i have never had any problems with any of them! her prices are amazing, you cant get a better piercer in the valley in my opinion. most of my tattoos are done by Dee, she is very sweet and i have loved watching her work get better and better. im always thinking of what tattoo i want to get from her next. 9th veil may not be top A list Ryan Ashley level but theyre good honest people and they do fantastic work.

Okay first Barbie is the only person i trust with piercing me! She’s so patient and extremely lovely to work with! i got my first ever tattoo from Nathir! let me tell you how amazing he is and made this a breeze, i was so nervous but he was just so calm and didn’t lie about what was gonna hurt and what wasn’t. i love everyone there especially Dani! it’s an amazing experience every time i go! definitely a place to go for your first tattoo or any piercing !

This shop’s work is phenomenal! I regularly see Dez for new tattoos & touch ups! She is always adding new styles to her repertoire & grows with her clients. She has available designs that I didn’t even know I wanted until seeing her artistry!!! I can’t wait to book another appointment!!!!

Had a tattoo done by Dez when she first started tattooing and it still looks amazing. Beautiful shading & line work! Also had my septum and belly button pierced here walked in and waited maybe 15 minutes. If you have proper ID and payment they have no problem giving you what you want!

I went for the Halloween flash sale..I was lucky enough to get Dez as my artist..the wait time was so long (as anticipated) but the system they had in place worked for everyone! My tattoo looks amazing and Dez was absolutely amazing to work with! Considering how tired everyone in the shop must have been after such a busy day Dez still made me feel so comfortable with conversation and she literally had my tattoo done in record time! 10/10 recommend her I’ll be looking to book a much larger piece with her in the future!

I was there about a week ago to get my nose pierced and Barbie (one of the piercers) made the process very comfortable and easy. She showed me exactly where the ring would go and I surprisingly didn’t feel a thing with a little help of closing my eyes. Would love to return to their clean and cute space for a future tattoo! Would definitely recommend.

The best shop to get tattoos and piercings. The staff is amazing and Dez is one of the most talented tattoo artists I have met. I’ve also had bad luck with piercings from other shops so I was hesitant to get my nose pierced but Dez did an amazing job and I have had 0 issues since having it for over a year. Highly recommend.

Pretty great place when I was there. Got a tattoo from my watercolor. Came out perfect, almost 10 years later its still as amazing as when Jay first did it. Austina did a piercing and she was able to read me and my emotions and make me comfortable from the beginning.. fast, funny, dare I say gentle even though she was shoving a needle through thick cartilage.

Got 2 tattoos at this wonderful place. The artists are very welcoming and not in the walmart greeter creepy way and the decor is very eclectic adding to an appropriate atmosphere, also showcasing some of the arts types of the artists in residence.

I called this place at the spare of the moment but by recommendation and let me tell you I was NOT disappointed!!! I originally went to a different tattoo place to get my daughters belly button piercing and well their review wont be so friendly!! The other place didnt hesitate to sell me a $100 gift certificate for Christmas for my daughter but when we went to get it done we were greeted poorly, unprofessional and then gave me excuse after excuse on why they wouldnt pierce her---but they never hesitated to take my money!! . Anyways, I called 9thVeil and the ladies who answered the phone were sweet, professional, informative and nearly talked me off a ledge. They immediately calmed me down and actually listened to me!! The sprung into action to make my daughters day by calling Barbie their piercer, and lets just say within the hour my daughter was the happiest teenager in the world!!!! I am a manger of a business as well and appreciate the way they handled this situation and took care of my issue like it was their own!! I recommend everyone and anyone to go there. Especially if they want to get pierced!! Barbie freaking rocks.. I even texted her a few days later on her personal phone and she didnt hesitate to respond. You can tell she cares for all her clients. I thank you 9thveil!! Youre the best!!!!

Filled out the Google form in Dez’s Instagram bio and got a reply back fast from her assistant. After chatting for a bit it didn’t seem like Dez was interested in doing my design but they didn’t straight up tell me. They told me they’d get back to me with a price and never did. Quite rude.

Austina and Dez are amazing tattoo artists. They are also so full of life and have big hearts. They both listen to everything you want and I always have an amazing experience coming here for flash tattoos or even appointments.

I have been a customer of ninth veil for as long as i can remember and i have NEVER been disappointed. i have tattoos by dez, cait, and nick and they have all healed and turned out amazing. i don’t go anywhere that i don’t get a compliment on my tattoos. dez also repierced my belly button for me after i had to let it close due to surgeries, it was painless and the place i originally had it pierced did it sideways and she made it perfectly straight! everyone is kind and you feel like home as soon as you would through the doors

Went there last year and thought I was gonna get a awesome tattoo and I got a an ok tattoo, after she did a phenomenal job on mg gf tattoo, that took about 3 or so hours, and then she did mine and I should of rescheduled my appointment for another day or went to the guy that was working there at the time (Chris). His work is really good, but I thought I was gonna get something phenomenal cuz it was the owner of the shop but it was just an ok tatt. Now she only does line work and charges way to much for the work she does. It seems like she only has apprentices working there and only does line work as well. I wont be going back there anytime soon.

Highly recommend this studio! They are extremely clean and professional. Everyone in there is extremely welcoming and they make you feel as comfortable as possible. Each artist in there is phenomenal as well!

I spoke to someone on the phone and told them that I wanted to pierce my son’s ear and they said come in that it was fine.. I went to the shop and they asked me how old is your son, I say 13 and one girl says give me a second I’ll ask if it’s ok. I see her ask the piercer and she says it’s fine as long as I show my I.D. Now after I’m done signing the paperwork this other female comes along and asks me if I have my sons birth certificate, I tell her no because no one asked me for it she then says he needs some form of identification and I said I’m his parent and I’m giving mine as the other woman asked me to.. She says he needs some form of identification so I say the other female didn’t say that to me she went to repeat it again and took my paper. I told her give me the paper and I left.. SMH for one ear..

I am very disappointed in the service. I called to schedule a piercing and the woman on the phone said to give them at least 30 minutes to an hour, I told her the appoitment would be for the next day. She said no problem I will let their piercer know and scheduled me for a 1:30 appoitment the following day.So the day comes Wednesday may 2nd I show up around 1:20 pm and I see 3 people waiting outside the doors because the shop ISNT EVEN OPEN and their sign clearly states they open at 1pm. I chatted with one of the girls who happened to be waiting outside with me who had an appoitment at 1pm, as we are waiting we see one of the tattoo artists driving down the street and we wait for her to open the shop.She proceeds to open the shop and hands the other girl the clipboard to fill out the consent form (which was fine since she was waiting before me) but the artist DOESNT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME. Once the other customer was done with her form she hands me the clipboard and I filled out my consent form and put it on the counter (at this point there are two girls in the back getting set up and on their phones etc.)I continue to wait until 2pm and still no acknowledgement to any of the customers in their shop, the time was now 2pm (30 minutes after my appoitment) still no word from either of the 2 girls in the back so at this point I grabbed my consent form and leave.I will never be coming back to get any sort of work done, I will advise all my friends and family to avoid this shop at all costs which is a shame because previously to this point Ive had good experiences from this shop.How can you trust a shop with something as important as a tattoo or piercing if they cant open their shop on time, why have someone make an appointment if they cant stick to them. Also i would have had NO problem if they explained to me that the piercer was stuck in traffic, late, or had to reschedule for a later time but i felt extremely uncomfortable waiting with no explanation or acknowledgement.I felt the entire time I was waiting that my piercing would be rushed as more people came in and they are behind. It made me extremely uncomfortable because something like a piercing needs time & sterilization so there is no future issues like infection.I ended up taking my business elsewhere locally that took a walk in, took their time, sterilized everything properly and explained each step. I just cant imagine the process being done properly here as they didnt even get there on time to open, let alone take care of scheduled appointments.

First off the artists are so talented and so sweet. Its so clean and well kept and its my favorite spot to go too. You can even get a handpoked tattoo which is such an awesome experience.

Dez and her crew made me feel part of the family!! She took care of my needs with my designs and following up with the healing process!!!

Artists are very ignorant and can’t take criticism well. They also drew up my daughters design then pressured her to change her design knowing they charge $50 for design changes

Never return phone calls. After 2 weeks we went elsewhere to get piercings done as they couldnt get the jewelry in to do them. I had a gift card I was told I could get my money back for, but when I came in to get it I was told otherwise. Now I am out the money for it.

Called and scheduled my first appointment here today! Looking forward to my session this will be my first big piece the customer service was greatly appreciated only gave 4 stars because I havent got my work done yet but will post another review with pictures spon!

Went here for a tattoo appointment that was made a week prior then sat for 3 hours for the “ARTIST “ to prepare. When he was finally ready he talked and talked long story short the tattoo turned out really bad and I really really over paid. Now I have to pay someone else to fix this garbage.DON’T GO HERE!

I never had a tattoo. But all I know that goes there says they do an awesome job. Just found out I have cancer few months ago, if I could afford it, id62 cancer ribbons done by them. Meaning last of cancer, my first tattoo

Everybody is EXTREMELY friendly, Great ppl, Great atmosphere. I came in for my nipples to be peirced, everything was taken right outta packages right there in front of me, VERY professional like behavior. I would VERY MUCH be recommending them in the future.

The piercer was very unprofessional. Charged a price that amounted to extortion and told me the wrong size of the gauges she put in my ears, so I cant use any of the plugs I bought based on the size she told me. Terrible experience, dont recommend to anyone.

Wanted a tattoo was blowing off and then had my money stolen from me and then bashed on the owners Facebook need to go to court the News and better business bureau be careful dont want anyone else going through this and before you comment on you think how you would feel someone taking 350.00 dollars off of when she did not work for it thats stealing in these time it is hard enough with out someone taking my Birthday money from me that my children and grandchildren and husband that they actually worked hard for.

Web ad states Fridays opening at 12. Was there.They werent Sign read open at 1p.m.Came back at 1p.m. They still werent there. Sat and waited for 22 minutes.NOONE.Doesnt matter how good or clean an establishment is if they dont show up!!!
