Jessica is awesome! One of the best tattoo experiences, hands down. The shop is clean and has a really cool vibe. Everyone is super friendly! Jessica is cool and very down to earth. Lots of laughter and just an overall good time! She made sure everyone in the group was well taken care of and comfortable. Our tattoos all turned out amazing!

Jessica is the best around! She can turn your ideas into a reality and give you a top tier tattoo. The shop is always super clean and every body I’ve met there has been amazing people.

Jessica does amazing work and is super friendly with a great attitude! The environment of the shop is so welcoming. I love how she will also be honest about if she is the best person to do the tattoo, it helps me feel like she’s not going to just take on the tattoo for the money and will let you know if she recommends someone else to do the tattoo instead of her.

I’ll start off by saying Jessica Merritt has been my tattoo artist for many years. Her and her staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Jessica will tell you her honest opinion on placement, design, etc. and is always upfront. She wants what is best for her customers and to make sure you end up with a tattoo you love. Shes not just in it for the money like other people, her heart and soul goes into every piece she does. This is why I will always choose Merritt tattoo!

You will not find a better artist. Jessica is an amazing person who cares for her clients. She makes you feel at ease the whole time. The shop has such a great vibe. You know you are going to leave with a tattoo you want to show off.

This was my first time at Merritt tattoo and it definitely will not be last! Jessica does INCREDIBLE work and makes the whole process a cake walk. I felt extremely comfortable in her chair and I’ll be returning to her shop again for more ink.

Just got my septum done a little bit ago but I just wanted to say how awesome David was! I was super nervous but he never made me feel stupid. It was over in a flash and he did a great job. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend to everyone I know.

These people do good, clean, work. However, every time Ive contacted them they have been extremely rude and cold in general. Ive gotten pierced here and more than once I have tired to get tattoo work done here because, like I said, their work is clean, but I have since stopped because of the attitude, condescending tone, and rude behavior of some employees here. Had two great experiences! First time in, I set up an appointment and I got my septum and rook piercings. Place was very clean, and David is a great piercer and gave detailed care instructions.Second time, I was lucky to come in when they weren’t busy yet and taking walk-ins. Shayla did a wonderful job on my tattoo. She took her time on the details but did not have a heavy hand like another artist I have tattoos from, which helped to not cause pain. She and the other artists who were there (Blake and Jessica) were friendly and nice to talk to. Very clean and they open all tools in front of you to show they are new and sterile. Shayla gave detailed care instructions and answered my messages when I had a question after going home! Overall a great, clean environment and good prices. Can’t wait to go back for more!

My partner and I walked in for a tattoo, and was directed to a guy who was the only one taking walk-ins. After speaking with guy for not even 30secs. I knew this guys energy wasnt it. My husband didnt even get to tell him what he was wanting which was a small alien on his finger. I was just ready to get out of there. I consider myself a pretty good energy reader and believe that when you get a tattoo youre also getting that artist energy tattoed with you. I myself am awakened spiritually and that was the meaning behind the tattoo I was wanting. Thankfully I decided to not get that guys energy with that tattoo. Im sharing my experience to say you should think about the artist vibe during your consultation. My husband asked as we left if it was the price he was asking. I told him no i didnt want him to do my tattoo. I would of paid what he was asking as well as a generous tip. That artist just wasnt it for me.

I had the best time here! I was from out of state and made my appointment between Facebook and on the phone with Shayla and she is incredible. Her line work is amazing. The shop was very clean and she went over everything to show it was sterile (I wasnt at all concerned, but my home state has never done this, so that was cool). Everyone was really friendly. Next time Im in London, Id love to get another tattoo with her. Dont hesitate to give them a try!!

Me and my daughter went and got piercings, I got tragus piercing and Im not going to lie, it hurt!! My daughter thought that was hilarious... Huh. Anyway the staff was nice , I felt like the prices were a little high, we paid $60 per piercing. My other piercings were half that, but it was 30 yrs ago!!!

Loved the tattoo shop overall. Danyel and Jessica are amazing tattoo artist and made the whole experience very comforting. Danyel did my first and my mothers second tattoos and I can say she did an amazing job and she even offered tips that made the tattoo look even better than I envisioned. The shop is very clean and they make sure you understand they are the real deal professionals. The atmosphere is pretty chill and they inform you of everything up front about the tattoos and even give you great information about the aftercare. I would highly recommend anyone go there especially if this is your first tattoo, you won’t be disappointed!

Hands down best tattoo shop out there. The staff care about the work they do and work hard to ensure that every person that comes through their door has a piece of work they can be proud of. Jessica does a lot of cover-up work and turns unwanted tattoos into masterpieces! I would recommend this shop to anyone out there. Danyel did perfectly on my ink today, gave me a lot of great advice for my future tattoos and everything was super clean. She showed me the needle cartridge before opening it including the expiration date. I really felt like I was in good hands. And this is definitely the place to go for cover ups, was looking through their portfolios and wow.... they can cover up anything. Really nice and helpful people all around, great location, and they even set me up with a soap that would give my ink the best future possible. Kudos. Thank you for the ink therapy today. Forever grateful. Great experience.

David Flores pierced both of my tragus. The shop was so clean and he was very professional. He was very detailed in his aftercare instructions and Ive had no trouble at all! They stayed late so my friend and I could both get our piercings done and even though it was late, the staff was still so nice. I would recommend this shop to anyone and I will definitely be back!

I had my Daith piercing done at Merritt Tattoo. It was a clean welcoming atmosphere. I was a little nervous but David was very informative and calmed my nerves by explaining each step before hand. Jessica made getting a tattoo not just simple and easy but rather enjoyable as well. She did a cover-up for me that is gorgeous! So much so that we went back to have her do another cover-up, this time for my husband. I seriously wont go to another tattoo artist as long as Im able to get to her! You should check out their shop!

Very clean and professional. Got my whole sleeve done by Jessica. Wouldnt trust anyone else. Shes reliable and honest and does a great job every single time. By the time you leave, youll be satisfied and appreciative of the thought you found a new home.

My wife and I walked in to get her nose piercing changed. We were in a great mood as we went through London on a vacation trip. This older lady with blonde hair completely ruined our good mood in 5 seconds. She was so incredibly rude to my wife that she left shaking. This was by far the worst customer service experience we have had in Kentucky. Im sure there are plenty of other shops that will take our money for a few minutes of effort.

This shop is where I got my first tattoo over a year ago now. I didnt know exactly where I wanted it and Jessica helped me decide where it would be best. Its above my ankle, it looks great. It healed well, she made sure I knew how to take care of it. I would go back anytime for another by her.

Love her work. She is a great person to work with and very understanding. So far Ive had 3 tattoos done in her shop and my husband has had both of his. We love them. And plan to get more.

I loved this place. I got my nose pierced here and the people were very easy to talk to. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. I tend to get shy when going in new places, but not this here. When I get a tattoo Merritt tattoos is definitely where I will go.

David pierced my 6 month old daughters ears today. They look great! He was precise and made sure they were properly lined up. They have flat backs, so no pokey studs like youd get elsewhere. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a piercing done today, David was excellent with me as a new customer. He explained all the do’s and dont’s very clear. With the shop being packed he still took out time to make sure everything was right and treated me no different even with him being super busy! I’ll be back for more work! ☺️

Awesome piercer, super professional and clean with his work, as well as being a generally pretty cool dude. My piercing looks cleaner and more healed in a week than the same piercing from a different shop looks on a friend after 3 months.

Jessica is an amazing artist. She’s completed 5 tattoos, including 2 coverups for me, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The shop has a fun laid back atmosphere and I’ve had a blast each time I’ve visited. I can’t say enough good things about my experiences at Merrit Tattoos.

1st experience was a spontaneous decision for a body piercing. I had several questions and concerns. Jessica was thoroughly answering all my questions and building my confidence doing so. Great shop! Pro artists! Comfortable environment!

I got my first tattoo here and almost three months later it’s obvious I have four blown out letters. I came in with my design and they had to increase the size three times before finally settling on it bigger than it started as. She assured me should do it that size and now I have thicker letters than others on the tattoo. Will probably not go back. They weren’t very welcoming to me for my first time either and seemed like they had a better way to be spending their time.

I had a cover up tattoo done by Bargo and he done an amazing job! He was very informative, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly! The shop was so nice and neat and clean! I felt really comfortable and at ease in there and definitely will go back when I’m ready for another!

To be honest, Ive messaged people that work here and seemed very friendly and willing to help with pricing on tattoos, opinions, etc. But today me and my partner came in just to ask if they accepted walk ins and told them what we wanted, but mainly for my partner. The whole time he tried explaining to them what he wanted they had such an attitude and unwillingness to be helpful or considerate at all. A male tattoo artist even stepped in and said he knew what the symbol was he wanted and for them to look at the picture of it instead. (A harley davidson One tattoo) The entire time he tried to tell them what he wanted, they told him it wasnt going to look good and kept repeating the same thing. When they asked me what I wanted, which was a simple finger tattoo, they looked down and disappointed and didnt ask me anything else about it. We then walked out and dont want tattooed by someone who makes you feel like youre smaller to them for asking a question about a tattoo that YOU WANT. you should feel relieved or at the very least feel welcomed. This wasnt anything I thought wed be walking into. It was just a bad vibe.

David pierced my nose and it barely even hurt! He was very informative on precautions and cleaning, as well as answering any questions I had. I would definitely recommend getting any piercings done here!

Very nice shop! Located on the main drag in London Kentucky. If this location wasnt 4 hours away it would be our local shop. The day we went our group got 3 tattoos and a piercing.

Honestly a horrible experience. I have a tattoo so Ive been through this process before. Maybe I got lucky my first time but the people at Merritt werent willing to hear my idea and when I asked for her to replace my tattoo she rolled her eyes. I got bad vibes from the moment I walked in so Im glad I backed out last minute.

Fantastic, very to the point, whole experience waiting, paperwork and getting it done took 15 minutes. He informed me of everything overall fantastic.

Every one does an amazing job at the studio .. would highly recommend this shop .. there art work is amazing never seen a bad tattoo from this shop ;)
