Great guys and experience. I talked to him (Brad I think) on online and had questions, he responded quickly and was helpful.I had 2 piercings done. He was very professional and kept everything sterile and was cheaper than other places I checked. Will be back to have a bad tattoo covered up soon. Thanks again.

Super clean shop with super hospitable artists! i got my nose pierced yesterday by justin; throughout the entire process, he was very friendly and welcoming and i really did appreciate it. as this was my first piercing in years, i was incredibly nervous. i really, truly appreciate his work! (also! the price was one of the best around!!) i’ll definitely come back in the future:)

Second time coming here had some problems getting their before closing but he stayed there waiting on me then done my piercings (snake bites) and was making jokes made the time very enjoyable and actually had fun being there gave me advice on another peircing he had done previously. Only problem I had was it is a little expensive but if it’s done that good then it’s definitely worth it 10/10 definitely would keep in mind for peircings

Got 2 pieces last night one by design and one free hand. He come in last minute to do the work which was appreciative. In the design I had chose I felt it would be hard to achieve the detail. I mentioned leaving some details out but he confidently put in every detail perfectly. His free hand and taste in design is also spot on he really knows what his customer is wanting done. 5 stars I will be back.

I went to the shop back in May and saw Aaron at the recommendation of my friend, Austin! Let me tell you..I was not disappointed! The shop was very clean and everyone was super nice. I’m definitely going to come back and get another tattoo soon!

Went there and got nip piercings had to go have one removed after paying 100$ to get them done one was pierced wrong!

✔5 star for sure... My husband an i have received several tattoos from brad an all have been nothing short of amazing. Clean family friendly atmosphere. I have taken my daughter in on several occasions an not been one bit worried. She is treated like his own. Always recommend Brad an will continue to let only the best artist work his magic. If you all havent stopped in to check it out I highly recommend you do. Keep up the PERFECTION.

I live in Illinois and was visiting family in Knoxville, my son and nephew wanted to get tattoos. We went and saw Brad at Tried and True. He was amazing!! He did such a fantastic job on theirs that I decided to get one myself! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! He listened to what we wanted and did just that!! His work is amazing! I wont let anyone else give me ink. We made the decision that we will be going to Tried and True on every vacation down South, we started a new family tradition!! Very clean. very comfortable and his work is out of this world! Very talented artist. I love hearing the compliments about my tattoo! One of a kind!! See you next summer!!

Brads a very chill dude. He’s awesome and is an amazing tattoo artist. He’s done most of my tattoos and he’s also done my tongue piercing! He does perfect lettering and has the cleanest shop in the tricounty area! If you aren’t getting your tattoos here then you need a wake up call! Go to tried and true

Ive been tattooed at different places, but Tried and True is by far the best. Brad is an amazing artist, very clean and professional. Great atmosphere and people. I was having a very good experience until Brad went off on my mom. I mean my tattoo is literally a tribute to my mom. I was so mad I couldn’t even feel the needle. If he hadn’t disrespected my mom like that then it would be 5 stars but the way my mother was treated was unacceptable. My mother is my whole world and I can’t support anyone who would treat her or any customer so poorly. This tattoo was a big deal for me and my mom and we didn’t even get to experience it together because Brad made her go and sit down. I’m still so upset about it that my tattoo doesn’t mean as much to me as it was supposed to because the person it’s honoring was disrespected in the process. The other guy working there at the time was really chill and respectful. I had no other issues besides Brad’s blow up.

This is actually a zero rating. Ive called this place for two weeks cannot get anyone to answer. I drove up from Tennessee and waited until 3pm for Brad on July 23rd. I made an appt with him for next Thursday the 30th at 1pm I had also put a $20 deposit down for this tattoo. So I show up at 12:50pm. Waited until 1:30. Ive been calling and texting Brad since then to where he turned his phone off because it went straight to voicemail. I found another tattoo place near by and I really want to say a BIG THANK YOU to this undisclosed place for taking your time with me and doing my tattoo. So not only Brad didnt show he also stole $20 from me. Thats ok I believe in karma. So that was my experience with this place on July the 23rd 2020 and July 30th 2020. I hope everyone else has a better experience but I doubt it

Whoever met us at the counter (skinny lady with short brown hair) had a bad attitude and was not welcoming at all. We wanted to make an appointment with brad or Aaron because we saw lots of good reviews about them and she said we had to face book message them? Like, can I get a cellphone or email address? We wanted some stuff on our hands and she said she didn’t want to cus it’s annoying for her to have to do it over and over and touch up which shouldn’t be the case if you do it right. Other than that the place looked nice everyone else was nice they also had some cool body jewelry.

Nose piercing was amazing it took 10 seconds and barely felt anything definitely recommend

Melanie Allen is who does all of my tattoos. Out of the 10 tattoos that shes done for me Ive never not loved the finished piece. She is not only an amazing artist, but she also is great with her prices to the point that getting a bigger piece is affordable. Also she is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable when she works on you. As long as shes around I will not go to anyone else.

Im giving our shop 5 stars because I know the pride we take in our work and a chill out family type environment we have. We work hard to keep this shop absolutely clean at all times. We use nothing but the best inks, sterile-one-time-use supplies, and we try to treat every customer with respect, unless we get disrespected. No small tattoo is less important to us than the biggest. Also, we have some of the best piercers in the area. Thanks for reading.

I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. They did three piercings in one day and my brothers first tattoo. Ashley did my piercings and Brad did my brothers tattoo. They are super nice & take their time to make you happy.

I have known Brad Mallory since middle school and I always knew he was gonna do big things with his life. Brad had come from the bottom... from the pits many would be too scared to gaze into. Excellent shop! Would (and have) recommended them to several people! Wouldnt go anywhere else! My 65 year old mother even came up from Tennessee, and went to the shop to get her very first tattoo! She shows it to everyone!

Got a tattoo there, the place was messy. He was 30 minutes late without notice. Had to call to see if he’d be there. He was nice enough but I’m unhappy with my tattoo. It has Crooked lines, and a gap. The tattoo isn’t deep enough either. It looks like it’s drawn on with a pen. I’ll be going to another tattoo artist to get it fixed ASAP.

They have nicest staff with the cleanest equipment. I was treated with the upmost respect they took my idea and came up with the best tattoo I have ever seen. I came all the way from California for Brads work. This is my Tattoo Shop!!

Tride and True tattoo shop is such a good place to go to to get any piercings or tattoos that youd like. The man that pierced mine and my friends noses today did such a good job, he made ms less nervous and mads me feel so much better about the whole thing in general!! Definitely going back as soon as i can to get more work done by mr brad!!
