Anchor Down Tattoo and Piercing

Jerry did an awesome job! He made sure i was comfortable the hole time and constantly stopped and checked if i was liking how it was looking. He was able to do both of these pieces in one day in under 4 hours. He was very professional and I definitely will be back for more work.

Hands down my favorite place to get my tat fix in!! The shop is super cool the vibes are always great all the artists are chill. I’ve had James most times and he does amazing work and is super cool to hangout with!!

Jesse Gibson is a solid tattoo artist.. not a very heavy hand. Pretty rad dude. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for good quality work

Me and my sister came in yesterday for my birthday gift, we got out work done by JD he was a cool guy, talked about fishing a lot while getting mine done and then my sisters. Although it was a small piece of art I appreciate him and his work. Thanks and Ill be back for sure!!

This shop is literally the best. Ive been tattooed by several shops in the longview area, and there are many good artists but I personally feel they dont match up to Anchor Down. Jerry is my go-to artist but all the artists here are amazing, theyre all very personable and friendly and I love the vibe in the shop from the moment you walk in the door. I now travel 3 hours just to come to this shop and I dont think ill get any of my art anywhere else!

He stayed within my budget, and customized the image I sent him to fit the memorial tattoo I had requested.

I got my septum piercing done by Tyler. I called ahead of time to make sure they take walk ins, when I came in Tyler was ready and had everything prepped. He sat me down explained the process, and reassured me, the piercing itself took less than five minutes. He explained how to clean it, showed me some jewelry options for when I heal up, and I was all done, I think the appointment all together took maybe 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend! Tyler was great, the shop was great and the experience was just wonderful!

Kevin is amazing! Went in for a cover job on my hand, absolutely in love with it. Kevin took his time, making sure everything was placed perfectly, made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Kept the conversation flowing, Very friendly guy, 10/10 recommend him!

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY LITERALLY.Went to get a tattoo. Paid IN FULL two months before I was supposed to get it. Basically the day before I was scheduled to go in, the artist cancels on me and tries to reschedule me and the other person getting tattoos. Ok no big deal.Now at this point the money I put down was completely spent by the artist and is totally unprofessional because of things like this happeningNow the second time I try to go in the artist is telling me he has to reschedule me again. Now, the other person involved in this has taken two days off of their JOB to come in with me so we can get them.Now the artist is telling me he will not refund almost 400$ to a girl who had to save months for a tattoo. Mind you, I go to school and I struggle to pay rent along with everything else. So this was important to me that they refund and just keep the honesty. I am so disappointed with everything that has happened that I cannot ever recommend this place to anyone due to the utter heartbreak of the situation.

So we put a deposit down for Jay, $400, then paid $80 as a deposit extra, now he is saying that it was for a different shop. This deposit was for Jay that works at this shop. He still hasnt held up his half of the deal. PDo not deal with Jay

Talk to jerry, he is very understanding and willing to work with you especially if you have somewhat of a difficult request for a tattoo. Ive gotten 8 from jerry alone, havent tried other artists. Jerry is my go to artist

Best place in Longview to get tattoo work done , Jerry is a great guy and works with you on things you want to do with your tattoo . Always enjoy it there . I like to think of it as a therapy session! Ask for deals

I called to see how much a piercing was and they told me they dont do piercings there I kind of laughed at him and hung up because its in the name of the shop

James Talbert, one of the guys who works here, draws tattoos like a kid woth crayons. Unbelievable. And then to find out later that he selectively gives bad tattoos to people of color. (Check out the hate speech on his facebook). Its funny because he talks all that smack about foreigners but he looks like he weighs 120 lbs. He would get rocked by anybody

Took my wife to go get a tattoo from Nick Shepherd couple days later not fully healed of course notice that there were some missed lines and empty spaces where there should be color, got a hold of Nick let him know that we were going to need to touch up he responded very negatively said he wasnt going to do it and blocked me from messaging him.

This is an amazing shop located in the heart of Longview wa. Awesome people and great deals. I have had one sleeve done at this location and its very professional. Local owner keeps this place running like a tattoo shop should be ran.

I wasnt getting anything pierced there buy my bff was able to get her labret changed out and given better jewelry and David was super freaking nice. Great experience and would definitely recommend this shop to all my peoples

Called to ask about getting a piercing and apparently their piercer has his own hours no one else is privy to, called in the morning and late in the afternoon with the same answer Hes not here and I dont know when he will be. Dont waste your time here.
