Best shop deals for tattoos; I walked in and was greeted by the manager and he helped me with my design, movies work was amazing. They both had patience. I will be back every sale and try out the other two artists that were there

I was tattooed by the absolutely amazing artist, Movie. If I could give Movie 10 out of five stars, I would . He was very professional, but also made the whole process fun and was very patient and accommodating to all the adjustments I wanted based off of the image I brought in to get tattooed. The tattoo came out even better than I could’ve imagined, I highly recommend Movie for anybody who wants to get tattooed. He is very talented and can accommodate to multiple styles of tattooing.However, the reason for this one star review has to do with the wildly inappropriate, deceitful conniving snake, Kenneth, the manager of the shop. I was there to get tattooed with my friend. While my friend was getting tattooed, Kenneth brought up the idea of me getting my nipples pierced, which I was never planning on doing . Kenneth’ then asked me to go to the back room , I was thinking it was for some paperwork or something before it was my turn to get tattooed. . before I even knew what was happening, and with absolutely no warning and he did not ask me for permission or even tell me what he was doing , he lifted up my shirt and started grabbing my nipples. I was honestly in such shock and scared. I didn’t know what to do. I was truly afraid he was going to try to do something more.In addition, Kenneth said that he is the piercer, he is not. He is a little boy who frankly I’m not even sure what he actually does for the shop besides walk around making everyone feel extremely uncomfortable.This is equivalent to sexual assault. I plan on moving forward to get justice for what Kenneth did to me.

If you are looking for an amazing tattoo artist, look no more. Very friendly, welcoming, and caring team. Open to late hours. Very nice location too. Restaurants close by and freeway as well.

Took my wife to get a matching tattoo and we got took care of quick. Good thing I called to book an appointment and not walk in….it was pretty packed.

Erick is awesome. He’s a talented artist and he really made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed talking to him and the whole vibe of the shop. I’m from out of state but whenever I come back to LA I’m coming to Balam 🫶🏼Also the shop does say open 24hr but it’s by appointment only. Meaning if you want to come in at 2am, 3am, 4am for a tattoo you can, you just have to make an appointment for it :)Thank you for everything!!!

It was great! I just got my earlobes pierced at 12:30 AM, and it went super well. It was quick, professionally done, and overall a good experience! The staff was also nice, skilled, and very helpful. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place for piercings!

NOT 24 HOURS, horrible service, OPEN sign lit is meaningless, sadly everything online about this shop is a lie. No one will even answer the phone. DO NOT GO HERE.

Friendly and welcoming environment. My tattoo artist Balam was very sanitary. He made sure at all times to keep his area and hands clean. He made sure I was always in a comfortable state. I would recommend anyone to visit them and get their art work done by them. The rest of the staff is very friendly as well.

I would definitely recommend going here for piercings! I got my industrial done and it was quick and easy. A new, sterile needle was used and the industrial bar was long enough to leave room for cleaning the area. The piercer was super nice and made me feel comfortable during the procedure. Being open 24 hours was also very helpful because I got my piercing done at 12:30 am and other places weren’t open at the time. I was worried no place would be open but luckily this was a place I could walk into at a time like that and get the experience I wanted! 10/10 :)

I can’t speak to the tattoo service but getting a piercing changed out here was just a bizarre & unsanitary experience. Moving past that they forgot I had an appointment, my artist was shirtless & proceeded to squeeze a piercing bump (without asking permission or warning me) on a helix and then slathering it in Vaseline. The site is now looking & feeling much worse days later. Truly not worth itedit: i also just realized the piercer did not return the $40 piece of jewelry he took out of my ear so…

Got my first tattoo here and it turned out awesome! Great attention to detail and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. Shout out to Balam for an awesome experience and Ill definitely keep coming back for my next one.

Ocean is GREAT! Walked in with a Tattoo that should of been Americas Worst; but after, I walked out overjoyed. He is VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, FUN, LISTENS & ENGAGED ME WITH GREAT CONVERSATIONS! I would absolutely recommend him and the shop itself to anyone. Theres a great group of VERY TALENTED people here! Great night with great people 🤗💚

Gerick was awesome, greated me, nade me feel welcomed, answered my questions, made suggestions and was respectful and mindful of what i wanted. was also respectful during the process and made small talk. bonus was when he noticed the stencil transfered over and it was a bit curved on the bottom stated that he would redo it i took advantage and asked him to lower it a bit too he was happy to make the accommodations for me. that attention to detail was why i stayed and is why i would go back.

This company is really unprofessional, a friend and I had got a tattoo the night before and accidentally paid them twice for there service. They refused to answer the phone, send payment back or open the door when we came back to the shop. Very unhappy with this mind you a personal friend of ours had died the day before and we went to honor them at this place

This shop was awesome, they where very accommodating with us being a walk-in. Edgar was great, I believe we got tattooed by manny. He was quick and did a fantastic job. We popped in while on vacation. Would definitely reccomend them.

I spent the last few months trying to not cry every time I look at my back. I spent months researching and talking to artists. As a black woman I had very specific request for my tattoo artist and the MAIN one was do you know how to work with color/shading Melanated skin. Clearly This wasn’t the case. This was the large piece I wanted and hoped would be satisfied. I’m left with too dark of a piece to do anything else with and crooked art work. I’m overwhelmed and so frustrated. I spent a lot of money to now have to find someone else to fix it and pay even more money IF they’re willing. Then to add insult to injury he says it “MY SKIN” that’s the problem. Wow!

Had us waiting at the front desk for nearly 30 minutes. Unprofessional, and rude with no communication skills. First if of all couldnt even express the dangers of doing certain piercings on pregnant women, then couldnt even explain what other options were available. SMDH. Waste of time.

I went to get a tattoo of video game, that I play a lot. It came out perfect. Thank you. I very much appreciate the tattoo. I got it almost a year ago. It still looks as cool since when I got it.

Artist Ocean is dope and super chill. He wants whats best for you, so communicate with him as much as possible. He will help you create tattoos with his fantastic way of helping people to see what they want tatted. True artist.

Its 24 hours which is lit, lots of artist there , we went about 10pm or so and me and my 2 other friends all got tatted at the same time

The piercer actually pierced my ear at an angle. I showed it to a different piercer who told me not only is it completely angled but also too thin of a piercing and could rip my cartilage off. On top of this he pierced it backwards? They were nice there but the quality of the piercing sucks.

This mans young wife likes to Harrass everyone on social media, def wouldnt have any female friends or family go, they are weirdos. .

I called in to see if they used Second Skin for the healing process. The woman on the phone had no idea what I was referring to. She put me on a brief hold and when she came back I heard her coworker in the back say something along the lines of “white bitch” in Spanish and laughed. Number 1 I’m Latina and 2 I’m sorry that a simple question was enough to break your professionalism. Will not be using this business.

When i showed up to the shop he wasnt there and it took him close to 2 hours until he was. and when i called him he tried to reschedule on me until i told him what HE did. then he was high when tattooing plus u can see where he messed up. i got my tattoo 6 months ago and it looks like ive had it for years. i would never recomend.
