I was visiting from Atlanta. Was recommended by a co-worker. I loved Noah’s work on his page and reached out. He responded right away and got me in super quick. Me and friend both got a tattoo and had a great experience. Love my new tattoo, great traditional work.

The one and only tattoo & social club I go to in LA get some fresh ink! This joint is stacked with talented artists who will not only create a unique piece of art for your skin canvas, but have a repertoire of traditional flash pieces that are truly one of a kind! My favorite artist there @dretattoo has done several amazing pieces on my body. My favorite being the Japanese style sleeve he just finished up on me. It is absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every detail! The man is “painfully efficient” and has a solid hand when laying down some ink. He is just one of the many talented tattoo artists that reside at Boartooth Tattoo. Come in and get some ink done!

Josh did an excellent job with my very fist tattoo. He went into detail explaining the process and what to expect during the tattoo. I really liked he took the time to explain the after care and great detail on the design

Shout out to Luis for doing an amazing job on my friends bicep area and shoulder. My friend wanted to get a tribal tattoo to finish up his left arm and so far, based on the outlines Luis did, it looks remarkable. Luis shows that he has an expertise of doing tribal tattoos. Even without the full design completed, we just know that itll come out amazing and glad that we chose Luis to do our tribal tattoo. The symbols that Luis drew really gave us a unique depth into his artistic style and that it blew us away that he was able to deliver way more than we had expected. I will update this post once the full tattoo is finished but really wanted to leave a review since the progress was so amazing that I couldnt wait to write one.

Daniel, Sean and Dre are amazing artists. This shop is clean and full of talent and kindness. My personal artist is Dre. He has done some big pieces on me- my hands, both sides of my neck and full chest piece. There’s never hesitation when working with Dre. He is insanely professional and his works speaks for itself. Love this shop. They’re family to me.

I have recently gotten both tattoos and a piercing from Boartooth. Everything about this shop is amazing! All of the folks working there are super easy to work with, very understanding, and also very kind. I have never once felt uncomfortable in this shop. Ive been going to Boartooth for the past year and its been an exceptional experience every time. I believe tattoos are as ritualistically fulfilling as they are aesthetically, and each time I come here I feel like family. Andre Bertoncin did two sizable pieces on my arm. They’re the crispiest work I have on my body. He also did a cover up for me that couldn’t have been done better. All don in timely fashion too!

Came in to get a walk in tattoo and the artists were super accommodating and knowledgeable. Got tattooed by Noah and he did an awesome job. Definitely want to come back again for another tattoo one day.

Have my ear pierce done by Ash. Super careful and attentive. Highly recommended. Other people at the store are also very friendly. Will come back again for ear pierce done and may be a tattoo at some point.

Let’s talk about bangers. Dre is the sophisticated homie. He can take basic traditional design and run them through psychedelic mental computations that would melt Archimedes’ face off. If you’re looking for quality custom work or LA’s best flash, look no further.

All the artists at this stop are top talent. Good variety of traditional styles, tons of great designs available but also open to custom work as well. Shop is super clean and scheduling with each artist is easy, they are very responsive.

I came here for my first tattoo!! great customer service, great atmosphere, and fantastic artist. 10/10 will recommend for anybody looking for professional and beautiful tattoos🤞🏾

Dre was the nicest and super welcoming. I had some last minute changes to some designs and he was totally cool. He also helped me map out my arm sleeve and couldn’t be happier. 10/10 recommend.

What started off as a mission to get an old tattoo covered up, became a sleeve tattoo project, and I’m not even mad about it. I head about Boartooth tattoo from a great friend of mine. After admiring her tattoo work one day, she mentioned the shop and I decided to reach out to Daniel to see if he could cover up an old tattoo. Daniel was kind enough to walk me through my options. I didn’t feel like I was being pushed to get something, Instead we went back and forth until I decided what worked for me. Since my first session, Daniel has been kind and extremely professional. It is clear he takes immense pride in his work. His attention to detail is divine. He’s a fantastic artist with many years of experience. The shop decor, atmosphere, and cleanliness is top tier. Would recommend Daniel and his staff to friends and family.

Came as a walk-in on a slow Monday afternoon. Guys in the shop were super helpful and so accommodating. Would recommend to book them before coming in though as they’re pretty busy most days I’ve passed by. A lot of American Trad flash on the wall, but they absolutely nailed a semi non-traditional design on the fly. They also do piercings!Awesome vibe! CASH only, just a heads up.

I have been looking for a tattoo artist for the last 8 years and I finally decided to come by to the shop and that’s where I met Seth. Seth skills are really highly recommended when it comes to Japanese traditions. So far I been coming and I’m not disappointed with his work thank you Seth and Boartooth Fam. I will be coming to get more tatts since I trust Seth.

Ash was super friendly and helpful. I came in to get my ear studs changed and purchase new jewelry, they offered me water or coke (soda..) while I waited and after a few minutes they brought me in the back and they removed my old jewelry, cleaned the piercing, explained why I had buildup, aftercare, etc… overall it was a great experience. I plan to return!

Noah was super dope! He was able to help me find a style for the piece that I wanted that would better suit my existing work. Super knowledgeable on tattooing! Came in as a walk in and was able to get right to work!

Without much thought, I decided to go to Boartooth tattoos to get a tattoo of my kitten. I was very lucky because Luis was there that day and I had a wonderful experience, he is great with details and shades. I didnt want something too heavy and he was great at creating something delicate and realistic. Plus the time went by very quickly thanks to great conversations and funny stories! By far my favorite shop in all of LA. I get all of my work done there by Dre. He’s done a lot of amazing pieces on me but my favorite out of everything is this snake. Highly recommend this shop. And I HIGHLY recommend Dre B. You won’t be disappointed!!

Had a great experience with Dre Bertoncin. He helped bring my idea to life and was really easy to work with. He worked quickly, checked in on me to make sure I was doing ok, and it was great to chat with him while the work was being done. Ive already gotten other tattoos from Dre and I plan on more in the future. The other artists at Boartooth were also doing some great work while I was in.

This is my favorite tattoo shop ever ! Daniel, the owner, is so welcoming and has really crafted his shop to be so much more than just a business - it’s a community. Each tattoo artist is wildly talented, and they each add their own special flare to their work. Every time I go in I feel like I’m in an extension of my home! It’s comfortable, fun, always great music playing, and just good vibes all around. I love going and hanging out here even if i’m not getting tattooed but I usually end up getting something from whoever is available, because they are all just masters at their craft. Everyone is so professional and really make strides to ensure comfort and attention to the clients walking in. It’s insane how talented everyone is i cannot stress that enough. I have been in several times with a rough idea for a tattoo and to watch Dre, Chon, Daniel, Seth, Toby, and everyone bring those ideas to life in a way I couldn’t even try to describe is truly incredible. Mo & Arpy are also so great, the are the shop managers and just help make sure everything and everyone is happy and taken care of. Basically if you are in LA and wanting a tattoo, Boartooth is the best place to go. It is always a good time and you will walk away with phenomenal art by the coolest artists in town. This is the only shop I want to get tattooed at it’s just the best. Period.

Dre has done the majority of my tattoos for the past 5 years. Recently I tasked him with doing my back and he created one of the most unique, beautiful and timeless designs I have ever seen. I am proud to wear it and it is a testament to his talent and professionalism.

Since I moved back to L.A. Boartooth Tattoo has been the only place I’ll come to in the city. Dre, Chon, Daniel, Seth and guest Artist James have all tattooed meAnd the work is amazing. Bright bold colors and tattoos that have lasted and looked just as good if not better with age. Their piercer Annie has helped me with jelwery changes and she is professional and awesome to work with. Shops clean, everyone’s nice and the environment rules. Come here.

Dre was super quick and the tattoo came out looking fantastic. I booked online and picked a design from his flash and the whole process was super easy. Would definitely recommend getting tattooed by Dre and I’ll definitely be back.

I walked in with my sister about a month ago to get the same tattoo from an old childhood picture of us. Luis Arias was the tattoo artist and it was an extremely pleasant and seamless experience. Luis texted me several options and sizes that same evening and we were back there within a few days. The place is very clean. Luis is very friendly and professional with a super steady hand for clean lines. We both love our tattoo and plan to get more. I highly recommend Boartooth Tattoo shop and if you go with Luis, you want regret it! A+

Daniel was very great with his service and was very accommodating to my needs. Definitely love the piece and will get it finished here.

I came in with an idea for two forearm sleeves (past the elbow) and Andre worked with me to turn it into reality. He was receptive to my ideas while also giving the right amount of pushback on elements that wouldnt work in a tattoo. The entire process was about 17 hours under the needle and Im very pleased with the result.

I am beyond happy with my tattoo received at this shop! It is my favorite tattoo I have! Joshua does amazing with his linage! Would recommend to anyone in the area!

I came here after being very unhappy with a tattoo I got somewhere else. When I walked in everyone was very welcoming and chill. Talked to them about my original tattoo and what I wanted them to fix. Andre was fantastic! He gave me all the important info I needed and went through with me what he was able to do to fix it. It came out way better than I thought it would! My wife had work done with Vincent last year, and I was so impressed that I decided to do my latest tattoo with him as well. Ive now had over a dozen tattoos done, and I feel like I know a good artist when I see one. Vincent is excellent. He cares about the artwork and was interested to talk about the ideas and theory behind the tattoo itself, which meant a lot to me, as I put a lot of time and thought into each one that I get. Frankly he is just a great guy as well. It was both a professional and friendly atmosphere. I plan on getting more work done at Boartooth, and Im very grateful that I have such a good place in my neighborhood.

Andre did an amazing job of making all of us feel extremely comfortable, relaxed, and he was so personable. The quality of his work is incredible - my tattoo is so beautifully done. I wanted thin script and the execution was perfect. I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. It was a fairly simple design compared to other work that she does, but I could tell Taylor still put thought/effort into it and really prioritized making sure I was happy with it. Not only is this place clean and professional, they’re a friendly bunch and I always feel welcome here. Daniel is doing my half sleeve and his work is impeccable. I get stopped all the time and get compliments on how great the work is- especially his clean lines. He’s thoughtful and thorough and it’s really nice to have such a dedicated tattoo artist working on me.

He was extremely patient with all of my questions, which I had almost too many of.. and he was able to get a very large amount of work done every session. Had a great experience at Boartooth. Shawn was my artist. Super friendly and knew the history of the style I was looking for. These guys are pretty knowledgeable about the industry but maintain an old school vibe in there. It’s no frills tattooing. They also play an array of fun music in there to laugh at or just vibe out to. It’s a good hang when you’re there. Definitely recommend it. The neighborhood has great food around the area too in case you need a break for some chow.

First off, Boartooth does amazing tattoos. Past just the quality of their art, I feel good by supporting them though. They give back both locally and nationally. They have hosted fundraisers for charity organizations such as planned parenthood doing flash for a good cause. They have hosted a number of art shows featuring fine art of world class tattooers helping to create a community of tattooers through respect and inspiration.On a whole the shop is a beautiful, clean, and unique space that is filled with creative souls. Every person at Boartooth has love and respect for what theyre doing and it shows. They are professional tattooers who want to tattoo. They treat every customer as important and every tattoo as a piece of art. I consider myself privileged to have had a majority of my torso tattooed by Daniel.So, if you want incredible work done by amazing people in a shop thats about much more than just tattooing than definitely check this spot out!

Absolutely love this place and the people here. Ive been tattooed multiple times by Gina and Vincent, but everyone here that Ive met (Daniel, Taylor and Nick) are all extremely talented and will still engage in fun conversation to make you feel welcome. My first experience here probably wouldve annoyed most tattoo shops, but they were awesome the entire time! I was part of a group of 6 friends having a mini reunion who all wanted matching Halloween tattoos. We walked in with no appointment and Gina and Vince handled it like a boss and helped give us one of the best days ever. After that Ive come in for many more tattoos and all have come out beautifully. Vince has done 2 of my tattoos and always cracks me up and has such a unique and fun style. Gina has done too many sessions to count for me. Her fun energy is infectious and shes always a pleasure to be around. She comes up with great ideas and I always like to power through my tatts, but she can read when I need a break and is always kind about it. She is so extremely talented and I cannot recommend her enough. Deff give this place a try!

I haven’t been able to make it to the shop yet, but Taylor is so talented that I will traveling out of state to have her do my next piece. She did a cover up for me a couple years back and gave me a new sense of confidence that I cannot thank her enough for. Not to mention her and Gina are the some of the sweetest yet badass queens I have ever met. Highly recommend giving them a visit if you care about quality work.

Andre did an AMAZING job on a simple line drawing I brought in. His lines were perfect and I’m in love with the results. The studio is professional but laid back, so it’s a lovely place to get tatted. Highly recommended!!

So I went to Boartooth shop and it’s truthfully dam good and clean, I recommend with a girl name Gina, she did me a tattoo of paint brushes with water colors and came out sick!! And one of an artist young guy did my wife a tattoo of a Cruz FE and Came out awesome!! all best artist and price in the area of LA.

Daniel and his team of tatooers are friendly, nice, and clean. The shop is a perfect size with lots of nice artwork hangling. Daniel did an amazing job on the tattoo we are working on. I cant wait until the next session.

Got tattooed by Taylor and it was basically a hang out sesh with art involved. Super talented and intelligent women that tattoo here. In a room full of strong feminine energy I felt safe and comfortable and inspired. Gina was there too and they’re basically a dynamic duo and Boartooth is lucky to have them! It was such a friendly place to be in. I was offered coffee and able to sit and relax. Vince was great to talk and bond with as he tattooed me, he worked SO hard on my tattoo. If I was richer I would have paid him the $800 he deserved on it. I am for sure coming here again for my next one.

I personally cannot say that I’ve been to this shop but I can say that Milwaukee misses Gina and Taylor a lot. Gina owns my arm basically and I couldn’t be anymore proud to wear her work. She’s so easy to get along with and there’s never a dull moment. Gina really takes your ideas and brings them to life. As pricing goes, I never feel like I’ve been taken advantage of. My favorite tattoo shop! Everyone of the artists here are AMAZING. Ive now been tattooed by everyone here and couldnt be happier! They are safe and clean and have strict standards for disinfection and sanitation procedures. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I received my first tattoo from Daniel Werder a few years ago. A beautiful rosary on the top of my foot and around my ankle. He is a true artist. He brought my vision to life and it came out better than I could have dreamed. I dont now why I waited so many years to do it! He is the only artist I would ever trust to do my tattoos!

Bad attitude from the owner. After a series of messages we agreed to meet once more before confirming final design for my back piece. The night before, he texts me asking for the design. I said we agreed, and I paid deposit, to put our heads together once before moving forward.I dont book consultations bro was the response, along with a very smug demeanor. Kept my deposit, didnt consult or do any work.I happily took my business elsewhere.

Went in with a friend to get a last minute tattoo. They fit us in within 2 hrs and were incredibly helpful! This was my first tattoo and Taylor was super sweet and did an amazing job!!

What can I say about boartooth? Well for starters. The owner Daniel is insanely handsome. He has a nice “blue steel” look. But he’s very sweet. Like a rock with feelings. Taylor and Gina are both angels. I would trust them to take my newborn child swimming in a pool of sharks. Not that it’s a good idea. But that’s how much I trust them. Vince has a heart of gold and the smile to match it. And the apprentice Nick!?!? OMG GORGEOUSSSSSS. No butt tho... overall. Incredibly professional shop. Lovely people. Have had some really nice pieces done here. Would highly recommend. 10/10 would smash.
