Jon did my first chest piece. Was a phenomenal experience. We are currently working on finishing sleeves and then moving to stomach. He is very talented artist, very personable and just all around a good time! I finally found my forever artist! The other artists and staff are wonderful, inviting and genuinely kind. I wouldn’t recommend any other shop and will be keeping black heart as my one and only go to shop! Arianna is the best! 🙌✨

I can’t recommend Serenity’s work enough. She makes the whole process so painless; from sketching to after-care. I highly highly recommend going in and asking for Serenity. I’ve gotten a handful of tattoos from Serenity now and I genuinely feel like whether it’s your 1st tattoo or your 50th, you’ll have a great experience working with Serenity.

Me and my boyfriend went here for Friday the 13th flash tattoos and the place was beyond awesome. We had Dustin as our artist, he was great. I have anxiety and it didnt feel anxious at all! Ill definitely be back again

ODESSA was absolutely 💯 amazing!!! Friendly and goes above and beyond for sure. We gave her semi idea for what we(my daughter and I) were looking for in matching tattoos and she nailed it!!! I finally found my forever artist here, Sarah is absolutely amazing! I already have 4 pieces from her in a years time, with my 5th in the books! Her work is stunning and I loved finding an artist with similar style. She’s so easy to talk to and VERY talented at her art! If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would!

Called to make an appointment for next Friday with Thea. Was told she was booked but she was off (what someone told me on the phone) and that I could email her photos of what I wanted and she’d get back to me the next day. If I don’t hear anything by 3pm then to call to see if she got to look at it. Well, I emailed and confirmed that she got it at 1:30 in which the same girl I spoke to yesterday told me that she saw the email but she was busy tattooing and she’d text me later. Well, I never got responded to. To me, this says you don’t have the time to call a customer back no matter how big or small the tattoo and that they aren’t worth your time to even respond to. I am calling and pursuing a tattoo artist id be paying. This is bad business practice and plain rude. I’m taking my business elsewhere. You see posts from your tattoo artists in their Facebook’s complaining that people don’t understand canceling at the last minute and money loss etc and how people need to respect their time as tattoo artists. Well, maybe it’s just people treating you all the way you treat them. The problem is, these people are how you all make a living. Think about it. Do better. Point blank

I’ve had work done by Josh & Odessa, my husband has work from Josh & Makenzie and my mom has work by Makenzie & Odessa… to say we LOVE Black Heart is a crucial understatement!! I get so many compliments on my tattoos, people constantly ask where I got them done and by who. I won’t go to any other studio except Black Heart. Not only are the artist fantastic but the vibe of the studio is top notch. Not your typical tattoo studio feel, it’s warm & cozy but still edgy & badass.

I have art from both Makenzi & Jon and they are both absolutely fantastic to work with! Forever going to them!

This place is awesome. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Josh does an incredible job every time as Im sure every artist does. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a high quality tattoo. Definitely will keep coming back here.

The studio is a very laid back place. They all seem nice to talk to and are very talented. My wife has gotten 2 different tattoos from them and had been very pleased with them. They listen to what she wanted and have gone over and beyond to deliver. They also seem relatively priced also. Very fair.

Black Heart is a great place to get a tattoo... super clean and professional with a lot of artists who do different styles of tattoos. I got my sea turtle tattoo from Thea, and she is so nice, and very talented... so pleased with her work! I highly recommend Black Heart.

An artist to suit any style you could imagine. Great people, great atmosphere, and (most importantly) GREAT TATTOOS! I personally go to Jon and adore his work but you can’t go wrong with anyone there!

Odessa did an amazing job on my sunflower and Vite Chunky bees. Very reasonable in price and she was efficient in her work. Loved her unique workspace and the overall feel of the shop. We’ll definitely be back.

Makenzi is the absolute best. I dont think Id let anyone else tattoo me ever again. Ive never liked the way I look and have never felt comfortable in my own skin, until I got my first tattoo from Makenzi. I now have 4 and will be getting number 5 in two ish weeks. I have never felt more confident and beautiful in my my own body. Every time I walk into their shop, I feel an overwhelming amount of comfort and feel safe and at home. I am so happy to have found not only a great artist, but a close friend as well. I cant wait to go back soon!

This shop has the most amazing artists you could ever want! The atmosphere is welcoming and very comfortable. It’s always clean in there and you just feel like you’re at home. Everyone talks to you like they’ve known you forever. I won’t go anywhere else!

TJ did a phenomenal job on my tattoo. Exactly what I asked for, my cat mauling a rabbit. He made me feel very comfortable the entire time. I wouldnt go to anyone else.

My bestie and I got matching tattoos (oyster and lobster sword fighting with toothpicks) and Sarah was amazing at bringing our vision to life.
