I got my first tattoo here and have nothing but good things to say about my experience. I saw Traci, and while she tattooed me it was just the two of us in the shop - which really made things very personal and nice. She was very accommodating when I asked to alter the original design slightly, and Im beyond happy with how the tattoo came out.

This is the only place I go for tattoos now. Other places I have been to do not compare. Traci is super nice and has always made me feel relaxed and chill. She also has a great appreciation for art and music. My wife says this is the only place she ever wants me to go after seeing the work Traci does. A very chill relaxing environment with a great artist and good conversation. Prices are also very fair.

I’m a Lord of the Rings fan and requested a hobbit hole tattoo. This was my first color tattoo, and Traci made her own design. She did not disappoint! Her work is beautiful, detailed, and unique. Thank you Traci!

I have multiple tattoos from Traci and love every single one. She has nailed it every time, and even my mom who claims to hate tattoos is now saying “if” she were to get one she’d let Traci do it because “her work is beautiful.” My mom asks to see my arm all the time to look at them and only has compliments, which is saying something for her 😂 I’ve had no real solid plan for my arm and decide kind of on a whim what I want and she’s been able to make it all make sense.I come in from Ohio and plan trips around tattoos just for Traci.

I primarily get black art on my body, so it was perfect that I found Traci at Boomtown Tattoo. Shes been amazing in helping me piece together the kinds of ideas I have in my head, and getting them to fit with what is already on my body. Highly recommend Traci. Kim is absolutely amazing! She did my first tattoo for me yesterday. She put so much care and effort into making my tattoo perfect for me. Her drawing was spot on with what I wanted. Her line work is on point and so is everything else. The shop was clean and welcoming. I felt completely comfortable getting it done and enjoyed talking to everybody in the shop. I will for sure be back again and I can’t say enough good things about this place!

I have been getting tattooed by Kim Taylor since 2014 and her work amazes me every single time. Boomtown is a very clean shop, organized, sterile and in a great location. I have seen work done by the other artist who works at Boomtown, Traci, and her work is just as amazing. Both artists are exceptional!

This place is great! Everything is super clean and welcoming. The women who run this shop are very skilled. Kim takes the time to go through every step of the tattoo and make sure you’re comfortable with the process. She’s informative and creative with her consultation. She does amazing work!

By far my favorite shop in Martinsburg. It’s easy to find with street parking and the meters are not expensive. It’s also in a good side of downtown Martinsburg. Inside the shop is very clean and comfortable.Kim Taylor is such a talented, caring, easy going and professional tattoo artist. Every design i bring to her, she turns into something personal and unique which i love. She’s always open to whatever ideas i want, whether it’s a big or small tattoo or if it’s black and grey or full color. She makes me feel comfortable from the time i walk in, all throughout my tattoo (as comfortable as possible while being poked with a needle) until I’m walking out the door. Especially for my rib tattoos, when i was worried about being exposed, she kept it super chill and professional and took any extra measures to make sure i wasnt exposed to the world. And her prices are always reasonable. You know for the price you pay, the work will be amazing!So big thank you to Kim for all the hard work and time you have put into tattooing my body. I’m nowhere near done and i can’t wait for my next one!

Amazing work very nice and helpful. Didnt laugh at a grown man strangling a bottle of apple juice while humming awkwardly loud for the duration of my tattoo. However you should feel free to laugh 😂. All together a fantastic shop. Only downside is the difficulty getting an appointment. However that difficulty peaks to the talent and quality of the service your gonna get.

Traci is the bomb! Shes an awesome artist with years of experience. Great experience....were memories are made, I took my son for his first tattoo.

I recommended this shop to a lot of my friends because of work I have seen done on two of my friends. The friends I recently recommended have had pieces done which look amazing. Unfortunately, I havent received the same service as they have. I messaged over a month and a half ago asking for a consult because my sister and I wanted to get a piece done and still have yet to get an email back. I sent 3 emails since then checking in and really wanting to schedule something and messaged on fb as well. I have decided to go elsewhere and will not reccomend this shop to anyone else anymore because I still have yet to receive any feedback. I have been inquiring about Traci doing the work.

Kim has been tattooing me for years now and I wouldnt have it any other way. The shop itself is very clean and always well kept up. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a tattoo to Boomtown Tattoo.
