I’m so thankful we took some time to find the right place to get our daughter’s ears pierced. As soon as we meet with Joshua I knew we were at the right place! He walked us though the process and made everything go really smooth. I highly recommend his services. We will be seeing him again soonier then later! ♥️

Joshua was AMAZING! He is funny, professional,makes you feel comfortable like a friend you havent seen in awhile and his breathing technique really helped! If I get another piercing I will definitely go back to him. My husband said he will go to him to get his eyebrow pierced in the future. You will not disappointed going here!

Even though I am a novice and didn’t know the correct piercing I needed Josh was more than willing to accommodate and teach me about the equipment he used ! 25/10 would recommend Josh !

What an amazing experience. Such a fun shop and such fun chill people . 💕 easy to find they are sharing a space with a tattoo shop, super clean and professional, we definitely found our new shop. Took my 5 year old to get her ears pierced last min and Josh the piercers did an amazing job, Not only was he kind and professional he was also very very patient with my daughter. He made this experience very easy for all of us.

Joshua was so knowledgeable and kind! I went in to get my ear lobes re-pierced(old piercings never healed so I took them out so they closed) and also got a helix piercing as well. He made sure that I was comfortable and walked me through everything he was going to do. Afterwards he gave me a care package that included salt measured out to the perfect amount so that if I wanted to make my own saline solution at home I could! I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you’re looking to get pierced!

I came into this shop by chance after going down the list of local shops and finding others closed before their listed close of business. Hawaiian Touch was next on the list. I came in as a walk in, explained my dilemma, and was greeted with the best service! Shawna listened to me, made recommendations, and helped me with all of my needs. Came across this place while vacationing in the area. Impressed by their reviews, I reached out on Facebook and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. They are nearly tucked away in the Black Skull Tattoo shop. Both the tattoo shop and the piercing shop are very clean establishments. Open concept floor plan, very welcoming vibes. I met with Shawna, she explained the entire process. I felt very confident in her skills. We got talking about her experience of 20 years in the business. She has a welcoming, warm personality. She walked me through the ear piercings I was getting done. It went very quick and as painless as it could have been. I am very happy with my new earrings. She gave me a some great aftercare instructions and products. Highly recommend this place!

I don’t even know where to begin with the utmost respect on the highest quality customer service given to me in regards to a question that I had for ‘male reproductive piercing’ on my behalf for myself.I inquired a question via Yelp online, and Shawna was quick to respond and had the most affordable rate given to me amongst all other piercing studios here locally in the greater Yuba-Sutter area and as far as the Greater Sacramento that I am willing to drive for.Need I say her shop was immaculately clean where I didn’t have to second guess myself if I wanted to get my piercing done. Fast forward, below are my pros and cons about her studio:Pros:-Professional and knowledgeable about the male human reproductive anatomy in regards “how” to pierce. And she also gave you a chance if you have any questions/concerns is to ask away to relieve the anxiety. Moreover, if you where wondering what I wanted done, I had a frenum piercing done. I would show photos here, but it is quite explicit.-Her current rates as of Jan 2023 was $85 including the studs/jewelry per piercing session for frenum. And if you want a Prince Albert, it’ll be $100 including studs/jewelry.-Very Clean Studio-Gave clear instructions on procedure on what she’ll be doing, what to expect the before and after, and especially the after care after the session has been completed.-Provided an after care clean kit for $10, which is mandatory. This is to cover her that she provided the highest quality care given to you plus instructions.Cons:NONE!Thank you Shawna! I will definitely be back, maybe this upcoming fall when Summer Season is over. I am possibly contemplating on getting a Prince Albert sometime in the future.Location:Inside Black Skull Tattoo studio.

Me, my sister, and my 8yr old daughter went in to get pierced. I got my septum, my daughter got her lobes done, and my sister got her nose and ear done. Shawna and Josh were so friendly and so sweet, they made us feel comfortable and over all just a very welcoming vibe. Shawna was very thorough in explaining what she was going to do before and during the piercings. She gave us our after care instructions, which included a disinfectant spray and a small bag of non-iodized sea salt and instructions on what to do. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get their young ones ears pierced, they gave her a stuffed animal to hold onto, Shawna explained everything to her and was quick! I will definitely be going back here if I want any else done. And 100% will recommend this place for anyone who is looking to get pierced. Also theyre prices are really good!

I just got my nostril and second lobes done here for my birthday, and shawna did an outstanding job!! I absolutely love the placement of the jewelry and the thought and care she put into the piercings, even asking me what my future plans were for my ear piercings. I definitely recommend this place, I got my septum pierced here around February several months ago and it healed beautifully!! Hawaiian touch is the best piercing parlor in town no doubt🩵

Very nicely set up shop! They took me in super fast! Very punctual! It was my first time getting my earlobe piercings. She was so smooth with it, that I didnt even notice when she passed the needle. She gave me very detailed instructions and even a brochure with all the after care reccomendations. I give this place 5 stars! (Good pricing too!)

My husband and I took our 9yr old to get her ears pierced for her birthday and couldn’t have been more satisfied with the experience! Shawna was fantastic at making my daughter feel comfortable and explaining in detail what was going on and how she was going to do the piercings. Youngest daughter recently got her nose pierced here.The after car instructions and availability sold me. I got pierced by Shawna in the beginning of June of 2022. It was a High School graduation gift to myself and my first piercing since I was a baby. I was extremely nervous but Shawna and her husband were very calming and patient with me and all my questions. I loved my experience so much I’m getting my second nostril piercing next week with her again — bringing some friends along this time to put them on ☺️ ALSO Shawna has some of the cutest jewelry around, at majority piercing locations I feel like they only give you the cheapest, low quality studs or hoods they have. Shawna gives beautiful quality jewelry for a fair price. ANYWAY love her and definitely would recommend getting pierced by her !!!

Joshua and Shawna are both amazing. While they prepped everything, i got the pleasure to speak to Leo about tattoos and i assure you that everyone in this establishment are honest, humble and very knowledgeable about what they do. I got both nips pierced for my 3rd time and shawna was awesome, she talked with me and it was done before it started lol. Pain was about a 3/10 and they offered me about 30+ different options of piercing and even said if i find any piercing i like or have a design in mind they can find/order it for me. This place is a 10/10.

FANTASTIC! I got my helix and lobes done two weeks in between, both times were so great. So chill and understanding. I had a terrible first lobe experience when I was little and it traumatized me from getting more, but they made my helix piercing so calming that I had to get my second lobes done with them as well. They are so good at aftercare texts and getting back to you

Went to get my daughters nose pierced and Shawna was amazing. She has a cute, cozy, and welcoming piercing room. My daughter was freaking out and scared to death but she did amazing in calming her down. I would 💯 recommend her for your piercings.

I came in expecting to get a dermal removal from Shawna and she was very informative about the piercing I had. I had gotten my dermal piercing over a year ago at a different shop and the piercer I had, had pierced it at an angle so it seemed like it was lifting and rejecting. Shawna had thoroughly explained how to get the piercing to readjust so that it looks normal again. She gave me a new jewelry that’s not as heavy as what I had, some healing spray and jojoba oil for the process! 100/10 experience. Shawna and Joshua are so sweet and super easy to be around. Definitely come here for your piercings and removals if you want someone who knows what they’re doing!

I got my lobes pierced today with Shawna & she was nothing but professional and super friendly! I previously had several lobe/ear piercings & also have a handful of other facial/body piercings, but I needed my lobes redone. I really appreciated that Shawna made sure to thoroughly explain everything before & during the procedure including aftercare even though I was there for a very common, “easy” piercing. Even though I likely already knew what to expect, she made sure to explain it all again! She had several beautiful jewelry options that were all of great quality and affordable, and she waited patiently while I picked mine out. Her shop was tidy & clean and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with! She sent me home with all the aftercare that I’ll need and even offered a few options. She also responded very quickly when I initially reached out with questions/to schedule. I’ll be back for my next piercing!

My daughter and I went for a nose piercing and Daith ear piercing. We both had a great experience and both agreed that we will be back when ready to get another piercing or maybe even a tattoo. The shop was very clean and all staff were very nice and helpful. But I was super impressed with Shawna who did our piercings for us. She really took time to explain proper after care of both types of piercings, and talked us through when and how she would be doing our piercings. After calling multiple piercers in the area, Shauna at Hawaiian Touch was the only one to reach back to me and help me on the same day. She is super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The shop is a vibe where each tattoo artist and piercer have their own individual rooms all decorated differently. I visited Shauna for two Tragus piercing switch-outs and despite her recommendation of using smaller jewelry, I still insisted on using my own that I brought in. Fast forward a month later, Shauna was right. The jewelry was too big and it started causing irritation and swelling. I went back to Shauna and she immediately removed the jewelry, sterilized a new smaller set, and began the process of disinfecting and cleaning the area so she could replace the jewelry. She is a lifesaver! My new set is so cute and the swelling immediately went down. She even sent me home with some other jewelry options and a disinfectant spray to help with the healing. Both Shauna and Josh at the shop are so friendly and easy to talk to. They are very friendly and nice people and I recommend visiting them and seeing them at Hawaiian Touch. I can’t wait to return for a new piercing and visiting with them again. :)

Absolutely loved everything about this place! Shawna gave me a thorough rundown of aftercare and what to expect during the process. The place was also very sanitary. I got a helix piercing and she worked with me on placement to make sure that if I did want to get more piercings in that area, I had room for it and it wouldn’t look wonky! The actual process was quick and smooth with little pain! Overall, 11/10 would recommend!

As a newcomer to facial piercings, I could not have asked for a better experience. Shawna has a plethora of knowledge regarding anatomy and aftercare. She is incredibly down to earth and was very patient when explaining the procedure and answering my questions. The rest of the staff is super helpful and chill (Josh). Inside seemed super clean and there’s a little boutique in the front. My only complaint is you guys need a sign out front as the shop looks incognito 🥸 lol

The tongue piercing that I got was completely crooked, I have gotten used to it but for a while after I hated even showing my tongue because of how crooked it was. Also, we were told to come back for a later appointment to switch to a smaller size. She no showed, and didnt answer any messages or calls after that. I believe this was very unprofessional and I have noticed other people have the same issue with her just not showing up. Why schedule an appointment at that time if you arent going to be there?

Ive gone to Shawna for all my piercings I have, shes so great at what she does! So friendly, helpful, educated, etc. Ive gotten a nose, belly button, smiley, and dermal piercing from her and all the piercings went so smooth and enjoyable! Ive also gone to her for help with my nose piercing when it was acting up, and went back to her to remove my dermal when i was done with it. Everytime is such a pleasant experience. I was scared to get my dermal removed cause i thought it would hurt but it was completely painless and took less than 30 mins because shes so efficient. If I could give zero I would. I was super excited to get my septum pierced. I searched everywhere and I read reviews of this place so I went ahead a booked an appointment. When Shawna was piercing my septum it wouldn’t go through and it’s like she forced it to go in. I was in so much pain and it just wouldn’t heal after that. A few months passed and I gave up trying to heal it. I took it out and I find out my nose cartilage was pierced. She had pierced my cartilage I was so devastated. I been afraid to go anywhere because of this problem occurring again. It’s a fear that’ll live with me.

I took my teenager here for a septum piercing. Shawna was amazing! Explained everything to the process and aftercare. She explained the benefits of using Titanium 23 compared to surgical steel as well. It was very clean and calming there as well! It was my teens first piercing besides their ears. I came here a while ago to get a longer jewelry bar and ended up leaving 35+ dollars poorer 😢 shawna was pretty nice but from my own experience and stories from all my friends she seems to be money hungry as she pressures you into buying her aftercare kits even if you express that you already have saline at home. i only went in to get a longer jewelry and she added the aftercare kit on top of the already expensive single piece of jewelry without me even asking!!! i have multiple piercings so i already have saline at home and even after i told her this she didnt back down. i also didn’t know she had an instagram account that she posts all of her clients’ pictures on until months later. she didnt do any of my piercings but still posted me on her account

If anyone is considering getting pierced here, don’t hesitate just do it trust me. Last year I had gotten my septum pierced and everything went so perfectly. Shawna gave me aftercare instructions and my septum healed so perfectly, no infections, no pain, it was just overall a good experience. Recently I had gotten my nostril pierced by another piercer and started to develop an infection and a keloid bump. I decided to come see Shawna because she’s helped my friend out before with a similar situation. I went in and she explained everything to me. She cleaned my piercing up and got all of the nasty stuff out of it. She uses different techniques than most piercers for the cleaning process. She also recommended her anti-microbial spray to me and I got a decent size bottle for 10$. It’s been 5 days and the keloid i’m completely gone. I mean not even a sign it was there. There’s absolutely so scaring and no redness. I highly recommend coming here for any of your needs. Shawna really cares about all of her customers and does her absolute best to take care of them. 10/10 service.

I had my septum pierced here and my piercer explained everything very thoroughly before and after. they had everything for the aftercare right there at the shop (except for distilled water). about 3 days after his piercing was done one of my cousin’s horseshoe balls fell out and they offered him new ones + extras!! the the pain was very very minimal, even for getting a 14g piercing. i love my piercing so much, and i will definitely come back here for my next one!!

Okay buckle up this a long story, I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT, THEY DIDNT DO THE ORIGINAL PIERCINGS!So i got my nose pierced at a different shop and one of the pieces fell out, i tried contacting the person who did them originally and they were sick, so i called this place, Josh answered the phone and said to come in at 4:30 or so and they would take a look at it, once i get there i find out the person who did the original piercing didn’t put in proper jewelry to allow for swelling so i had to get new stuff no problem! Shonna( I’m so sorry if i misspelled your name that’s how my aunt spells it) was the sweetest most wonderful woman ever she was super gentle and explained everything very clearly gave me after care instructions and even advice on what to do if my second piercing came out, i got two at once. The entire time i was with Shawna Josh was entering my lil boy, and was just the sweetest and most precious encounter I’ve ever had ❤️ flash forward a couple of weeks, the piece of jewelry came out and i couldn’t get it back in, so i called them up and asked her to walk me through the process again over the phone, shawna did and she was so kind and patient, when i couldn’t figure it out i asks if maybe she could put it back in for me, so i met them at the shop again, this time though we ran into some issues unfortunately we couldn’t get the corkscrew back in because of the irritation and swelling in the nose, but also because the angle of the piercing itself is off, shawna explained everything to me again in such a sweet way and we put in a different piece of jewelry again, and Josh again hung out with my little man! Over 250/10 love the vibes very clean and sterile place, and my son loves Shawna and Josh so that’s a bonus!!! Highest recommendation for anyone in the area looking for a place to go!!❤️❤️ thank you guys so much for all your help and being so good with my little!

The initial appointment was great she was very friendly gave excellent advice for cleaning and aftercare, however a month after my ear is turning green from the jewelry she used to pierce because it was fashion jewelry not proper piercing jewelry. Getting back in touch after the fact to ask questions was impossible as they seem to have all but disappeared.

So let me start with my first facial piercing (My septum)was a terrible experience.The guy was unprofessional and pierced it crooked then repierced it with 10 minutes which is a big no no because it then healed crooked and resulted in me taking it out.This was not the case at Hawaiian Touch.Immediately when you walk in you can feel the friendly environment.Shawna was extremely professional but friendly and genuine at the same time which is a hard trait to come by.She explained the whole process before hand and was very thorough about after care.I have to say she has just won a loyal customer for future piercings.I love,love,love my medusa piercing.She did an amazing job and helped me place it just where I wanted it.Much love to this woman for helping me achieve the most beautiful piercing.Thank you ❤
