This is the 2nd time I’ve been here, I went there back in 2022 and again this past week. Tavi took care of me. By far the best artist I’ve seen.

Tavi does an amazing job. I’ve had two tattoos done by him now and both are amazing. He’s very helpful when it comes to a design idea, and is easy to get along with. 10/10 recommend and I will definitely come back for future tattoos.

We chose this place bc they were 24 hours and we wanted a tattoo on a whim. I got an answer on Facebook almost immediately for a walk in appointment. Jenny was so sweet and did an amazing job. She was so helpful with getting everything just right for us. A free touch up is included when it heals which is always a plus too! Definitely recommend giving this crew a shot the environment is very friendly and inviting, and they are opening a new store in Knoxville soon!!Thank you so much for your work!!

Jenn is the best! Light hand, attention to detail, just wonderful. She is our now go-to for ink. She is worth the price because you are going to have her art on you the rest of your life.

This was such a great place! Tavi is awesome! Took my mother for her first tattoo for her 80th birthday, and he was great with her, gentle and respectful but made her feel like the badass she is!! Great work too❤️

Got two tattoos by Eric in the last two weeks and I absolutely love them both. Well worth the money. My first tattoo was a walk in and was easy and went great. The second tattoo had me in his chair for three hours really cool dude to talk to and he takes great care of you while he works on you. The shop is a really cool and interactive place with all the artists there being really cool down to earth people. Second photo of second tattoo will be uploaded soon. Very chill environment, Tavi was very professional and took the time to make sure everything was perfect before starting, which was one of my fears it being a rushed job since it was such a simple tattoo. Tavi is awesome. He got me in quick and found a sick design based on what I told him I wanted. He stuck to the original price he quoted me even though I wanted to add color halfway through my appointment and went bigger than we had originally agreed on. If youre wanting an artist who is looking to build relationships with his clients, this is the guy to go to.

I had an amazing experience here yesterday. My artist was Jenny and she was so nice and did a phenomenal job! This was my sixth tattoo, but my first from Distinked. I wont be going anywhere else now. I have found my artist! The other artists do exceptional work as well my tattoo was pretty decently sized so I had the opportunity of seeing other artists work as well while I was there. Definitely go check out Distinked Tattoo shop you wont be disappointed!

My friend and I went in for very simple tattoos and had the best experience! We didn’t make an appointment but they managed to fit us in right away. Very quick and reasonably priced, plus Eric was the coolest guy we have ever met and made us feel right at home. We will both definitely get another tattoo from him again if we are back in town.

Tavi is a really great guy. I came in and wanted to to do a tribute tattoo for a wrestler that passed away and I wanted it that day. He was all for doing it and told me to come back later that night and made it happen!

Eric did my tattoo! He was was nice and very patient. The shop was very clean and had music playing that was really good and upbeat. Eric was very gentle and would make sure I was okay and would ask if I needed a break or anything. He also did my friend’s tattoo of 999 it looks amazing too. I can not wait to go back and get more!

Went in for a coverup on a tattoo i had wanted covered a few years couldnt for the life of me find someone that could work with what i had after talking a few minutes a killer drawing was placed before me and i went for it! I had Tavi fix me right up! The results are amazing i love it and get people stopping me constantly asking about my reaper tattoo! Anybody asks they are the best to me! I cant thank them enough for the work done!

Theres a reason theyre usually always open to take anybody. You sort of get what you pay for here.

I went to this establishment with my daughter to make an appointment for a mother daughter tattoo. When we came for our appointment we were told our appointment was another time the person was very rude we were not wrong I put the app in my phone when it was set while we were talking we were very upset.i dont know how this review got into the distinked tattoo review board I had never even been here when I made this review was for united ink on 411 south we did not get a tattoo there. Tavi at distinked was amazing love the tattoo he was not on time but the work was great!

Eric is awesome! I decided to get a tattoo in the spur of the moment I called at 8pm and he got me in at 11pm. He did an amazing job, I absolutely love it! He was very gentle and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. Thank you so much! We will definitely be coming back!

Tavi was awesome. Its clean and a really chill place. There was a misunderstanding when I booked my appointment and it took a lot longer than expected but he still took his time and made it look right.

Jenny helped me set up a quick appointment with Tavi. Tavi did a great job on the tattoo but took his time to make sure the placement was perfectly lined up and made sure I could also see it was before he started. They made sure I had break times to stretch or go to the bathroom as well. Friendly staff and personable.

Got my first two tattoos here a year ago!!! Jennifer did mine and was so patient and nice!!! My tattoos still look beautiful and I love them so much!! Definitely making a trip back out here to get some more done because this experience was worth it!!!!!!

I just got my 3rd tattoo (my first from this shop) and it is by far my favorite. Tavi was so nice and easy to work with. The shop is clean and professional. My tattoo turned out amazing. This review is solely based on the interaction I had. The first impression was enough for me to decide that I wouldn’t be going there. Instead of leaving a long-winded review, I decided to leave one star and be done with it. However, since the person who works at this business wants to call me names like a child, when this is an objective service provided by Google to rate businesses, it only confirms that I was right in leaving a one star review. You’re not going to bully me into changing my rating. Now, let me give some details as to why I gave this place a one-star review. When my husband and I walked into the shop, I talked to the man up front and asked about the possibility of getting a tattoo for both of my parents who had passed away suddenly this year. I was aiming to check out a few artists and go with the one I was most comfortable with. We didn’t want to take up anyone’s time, just wanted to ask about availability and ask where the best place would be to check out the different artists work, so I could make a decision and book an appointment. We were told they have portfolios that we could check out and look at some of the artwork online. We were perfectly content with doing that and being on our way, when another tattoo artist comes over and starts asking questions about the tattoo I want and shows me a few pictures that are comparable. He said that he could definitely do the tattoo, no problem, even though I hadn’t even been able to tell him that I needed an artist that would be available on Mother’s Day because he kept interrupting me in the middle of talking to tell us how talented he was at new techniques despite being new to them and continued to show more of the portrait paintings he had been working on. They were very good, but I wasn’t getting portraits and he knew that. However, since he said that he could do my tattoos, and was spending time conversing with us, I thought I would ask more specific questions regarding what I wanted. When I tried have any type of back-and-forth dialogue, he continued to interrupt me, and when I finally stopped he was like, “Go ahead, I’m listening.” I tried talking again, but he pulled us over to his station and started talking about his paintings again. I had no issue with the artist preparing a sleeve when I came in. I knew he was busy, we had just walked in, and that’s why I didn’t interact with him, because I didn’t want to distract him from prepping a piece that someone was coming in to get, and had already paid money for. I mentioned that I wanted to do it on Mother’s Day if that was possible and the guy who had been talking to us said that he couldn’t do it, but the guy who was prepping the sleeve said that he would. The one who said he couldn’t do it continued to converse with me and when I said to him, “I just want the artist I choose to understand how significant this is to me, in honoring my parents” He responded with, “You will insult an artist by asking them that, to put that pressure on them. It just stresses them out. Their job is to do your tattoo. You came to us for a service- not the other way around. I’ve had people who come in who have lost children, parents, etc. and I don’t talk to them about it at all because they get upset and then have to take a break.”I understood and agreed with that. But, that is not what I wanted. Because he had cut me off yet again, I was not allowed to elaborate on what I meant by that. I didn’t want a therapist to cry with. I just wanted an understanding artist, that would listen to me, respect how powerful this event would be to someone who has lost both of her parents very recently, and unexpectedly. Most importantly, I wanted this to be a day that was about honoring them, not overshadowed by a tattoo artist who would be callous, talk over me, or not listen to what I wanted. Thoroughout the interaction, that is exactly what you did, and that is why I wanted to go in and feel the place out, to avoid exactly what happened at your shop. That is why I gave a one star rating.

I loved the place and the environment there! It was recommended to me by a friend and I drove from Chattanooga to get my first tattoo done there and I dont regret it at all. For my next tattoo, I will definitely be coming back!

My parents live in Maryville and I visit from New York. There was a tattoo that I had in mind for a long time, but I could not find an artist that I was comfortable with doing it. I talked to a bunch of artists in New York about it and no one made me feel that they understood how important it was to me that this tattoo be perfect. While visiting my parents I decided to check out a few of the shops nearby I heard good things about a few shops in the area. When I walked in to Distinct tattoo I met Tavi who at the time was doing a beautiful piece on a young woman. When I told him about the tattoo I wanted he actually seemed excited about the design and for the first time in my search I felt that I found an artist who understood how important it was that certain details of this tattoo were right. Tavi was great he squeezed me in for an appointment the next evening so I could get it done before I had to go home. I am a chef and this tattoo is of my knife, not of a chef knife but actually of my chef knife and it’s surrounded by my favorite flowers. Even though it is a knife I still wanted it to look feminine and it does. Tavi nailed it from the proportions of the knife to the beautiful stippling that shades the handle and the tiniest details in the shading of the flowers. It’s a true masterpiece from a very talented artist and I will be back.

Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. My appointment was 4+ hours late .. and actually it never happened so I guess some would say it was a complete waste of my day . Extremely unprofessional environment, was lied to about when my appointment would be since they were “running behind”, which is on them not me . I make an appointment for a reason.. and don’t appreciate being told “come back at __ , come back at ___ , and throwing in the towel after the 4th time coming back to hear “you can wait 20ish minutes , or reschedule” when I’ve been waiting for what was approaching 5 hours. Who wants to get a tattoo from someone who doesn’t value someone’s time, someone’s dedication to driving out of their way, and finding 4+ hours of fluffing in a town an hour away, simply because they can’t properly schedule clients and overbook, and somehow that’s on me? On top of that might I add the lack of cleanliness and absence of mask anywhere on the premises. The lack of motivation to tattoo myself at the end of the day after waiting 5 hours gives me the impression had I waited that 5th hour and got tattooed would it have been her best work or just someone you’re trying to hurry up and get to leave the shop. That’s never the feeling I want from a tattoo artist when it’s permanent and sentimental to me, the absolute least that could have been done was attempt to truly feel sorry about the situation and try to book me another day instead of just shooing me out the door with a “we can reschedule, we were just busy today and if you want to leave you can”. Truly don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Clean, sterile environment. They use all disposable equipment so nothing ever has the chance to be used twice. They also have the latest in tattooing equipment. Great bunch of folks in there doing their thing. They have our support forever.
