We brought my 13 year old daughter in to pierce her ears for the first time. From start to finish, all of the employees provided wonderful customer service. Joel was helpful and patient in assisting my daughter in picking out her starter earrings, and Simon did a great job of putting her at ease and ensuring that the process went as smoothly as possible. His professional and personable demeanor was much appreciated, and my daughter loved the results.

My 16 year old daughter just got her ears pierced today by Simon. Simon was amazing. Very calming and thorough. It was seamless. Loved the whole process starting with a phone call to the store and Joe answering. Joe explained the process and it was a great experience. Thank you so much Maria Tash for having such a great team!

We went to Maria Tash in the Bal Harbour shops. Simon was the piercer who performed the piercing and was very thorough in explaining the process and made our daughter feel very comfortable with the procedure. I would recommend Simon highly. He is very professional and did an excellent job.

I was very disappointed and let down by the staff. I was visiting this location all the way from Washington DC while on vacation for my birthday with my daughter. I was so excited to come to this store. There was 2 ladies working. One of them said she would help me. She never came to help me. I stood in the store looking at jewelry I was so excited to purchase. I cant believe they both left me standing there. It felt very uncomfortable so l left. It wasnt even crowded in the store. I wish the experience was better. They didnt say a word when I left not thanks for coming or anything. Every other store we went in was so nice helpful and welcoming. I love the location and the store was beautiful and on point but I wish there wouldve been better customer service.

How can a company of this scale not recognize your piece????? They are a disaster as a company… they will never be recommended again and they lost not one! some clients!!! This was the best piercing experience I have ever had! The team was so attentive and patient, making sure that what I envisioned in my mind could be brought to life. I had 3 piercings done - conch, rook, and tragus- and I was so nervous (excited nervous) and Simon was beyond amazing!!! Stopped by Maria Tash to adjust the post of my earring and to put on a couple of pieces that I had purchased previously. The staff was very helpful assisting me. Without any pain Simon was able to put on the three earrings again and he was able to find the right post for the one earring and to put it on my ear. The experience was smooth and pain free.

I visited here on Sunday while on holiday from England with my husband. I really love the Maria Tash jewellery, so I like to get a little momentum of my trips by purchasing a piece. I have been to both London stores and New York and by far Miami is my favourite. I visited Maria Tash at the Miami location yesterday. As Im from Canada this was my first time at the store and I had made sure to book my appointment ahead of time for a consultation and piercing. I was excited to have a professional help me redesign my ears as I have over 14 existing piercings and was looking to upgrade everything and even get new piercings. Unfortunately, my consultant was not helpful and overall dismissive. I felt I had to pull teeth to get her to show me anything. I only bought two gold pieces of jewelry which I was pierced with, and with a combination I designed myself without her assistance. Needless to say I was disappointed in travelling so far for something I could have just ordered online and had someone local install. That being said, my piercer, Jessica, was absolutely wonderful and was the only redeeming aspect for me. Overall, this was a disappointing experience and not what I was expecting and I left feeling diminished.

Finally I was visiting Miami and decided to stop by the Maria Tash store to see if someone could help me solve these issues. I saw the manager Myrna and she was fantastic! She was very friendly, patient to hear and understand exactly what happened, knew how to assist, and was very empathetic to working hard to make sure I was a happy customer. Excellent service!I went in for a helix piercing with styling (thats the name of the service) after a failed attempt at your ordinary shopping mall piercing place.Sooooo different! This guys know what they are doing!Joel was great with the styling, he understood exactly what I wanted and gave a array of beautiful options!My piercer, Calah, has hands blessed by the needle gods!! The poor quality of jewelry has become unacceptable. I have had pieces (from the NYC location) for over 5 years and have not had any issues. But recently, I have had to continually return to the Bal Harbor shop for replacements/repairs on pieces Ive had less than a year - one of which the diamond fell out the day after I got it. I currently have a clicker in for repair because it stopped clasping, and now my nostril stud will not catch to screw in. Im very disappointed the quality control has been declining over the years.

I have been a super fan of Maria Tash, her designs, and her piercing team pretty much since the inception of her brand. No one and I mean no one did what she did in the piercing world at the time! A real pioneer!!!I was looking forward to the opening of this new Miami location for months and months.I have been a customer of one of the original store on Broadway in NYC and truth be told I trust their piercers the most. They have done most of my many piercing since they originally opened probably going on close to 20 years now.I called ahead of time and booked an appointment online to re -pierce an existing piercing that was originally pierced in their Broadway nyc store with the same Maria Tash piece of jewelry. I purchased it at the same time to pierce.I was told I could bring my own Maria Tash Jewelry. I own multiple pieces and have purchased a new piece every time I have been pierced in the past. They said it was ok but I would have to show up 1.5 hours ahead of time for them to sanitize.We showed up an hour early, dropped the jewelry, left went to eat and we’re told we would receive a text when they were ready for our apt. The text never came.When we returned they questioned the authenticity of my jewelry. It took them another 45 minutes to confirm it was indeed their piece….or I should say, half confirm. Basically, they called me a liar. The entire experience was a huge let down and left me riddled with anxiety. Needless to say Maria Tash is no longer what I remember which is a shame because I trust their piercers more than anyone’s. I was also planing to come back for a second conch piercing on my left as well as purchase another new piece of jewelry.Today’s piercing was my 4 from Maria Tash and now super sadly and most certainly my last.P.S. Not a single member of the staff was masked except for the piercer (which I appreciated). I am double vaccinated and still found that uncomfortable.

James was great! So accommodating and really listened my preferences. So patient and skilled!

Awful experience… the “white gold” is not 14 k gold … it has alloys Copper zinc palladium. I called. I had a horrible allergy …. And staph aureus due to what they used. Do not recommend them. Avoid at all costs.

Sad to say that I agree with the other reviews here who mention that the Bal Harbor staff fall FAR short of the high standards of the Maria Tash store in New York. I am another mega-fan who eagerly awaited the opening of this shop for many months, only to be treated with an alarming disrespect when I visited on their second day post-launch. Despite the store being empty, I was made to feel as though Id committed a cardinal sin by not making an appointment ahead of time (like those restaurants full of empty tables who make it seem as though its hard to seat you with no reservation?!) and impolitely ordered to leave the store for safety reasons because I had my puppy with me at the time (he could have just waited outside with my husband). To add insult to injury, none of the sales associates were wearing masks so their contrived concerns about safety rang very, very hollow (this is mid-pandemic Florida, after all!!) I really hope things change and the staff receive training because Id LOVE to feel comfortable shopping here and supporting my favorite jewelry brand (for now Im sticking with online purchases only).

I have been wanting a Maria Tash piercing for years now and when I saw they opened a Miami location I immediately booked an appointment online for my birthday. I requested Calah as my piercer and wrote in the notes that it was my birthday. I drove two and a half hours to get to the miami location since I live on the other coast.Upon my arrival, there was only one person on the floor and I had to wait 20 minutes just to speak to someone to check in. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes for a sales person to see if they had the piece I wanted. I came to get the Tash Helix which I understand is anatomy dependent but I had getting the conch pierced as my second choice if they werent able to do the helix.My experience with this location was horrible. Each person made you feel like your presence was an inconvenience or that you werent good enough to be in that shop. They pulled this guy to be my piercer who I told I came for the Tash Helix. From across the counter, barely looking at my ear he said he wouldnt do it. I had to repeatedly ask for ideas, recommendations etc. I booked a piecing with styling and this piercer did not want to do either of those things. I asked about a conch piercing next where he also said he wouldnt do it without even looking at my ear. The piercer would not make any styling suggestions or recommendations for any piercings. He literally said he wouldnt do them and then walked away to the back where I was left with the sales person at the counter.I asked if Calah was available since she was super nice when I spoke to her on instagram and very helpful with my questions I had prior to my appointment. They said that guy would be my piercer where I then told her forget it and I left. I was very upset I drove almost three hours one way just to be treated so poorly and on my birthday to make matters worse.I will definitely never recommend this location to anyone looking to get jewelry or a piercing from Maria Tash

I have always loved Maria Tash store in New York. I have being going there for years. Their new store in Bal Harbour Miami is just awful. The staff is extremely rude ! I will never shop there again! They are overpriced for the quality .so sad to see a business change for the worst.
