Lucky Tattoo is the place to go. Not only do they have good pricing the talent is amazing. Miguel surpassed all my expectations and did a fantastic job. His artistry and skill is supreme. And he stayed super late to accommodate my friends and I to make sure we all got our tattoos together instead of having to come back the next day. 10 out of 10. You gotta check this place out!!

*REQUEST FOR MIGUEL TO TATTOO YOU*The tattoo artist, Miguel was absolutely amazing. During my time at the shop, he gave us patience while my friends and I decided what to get, allowed us to use his IPad, and was great to converse with.However, during this, a man came to hang in the shop, and was a friend of another tattoo artist. The man began speaking very rudely about my body (being that I’m a bigger woman) and told me “that i still have time” to move to Miami and “run off my weight” since i “love to eat McDonald’s.” At first i didn’t understand what he was saying as i don’t speak Spanish, but my friend does and spoke up for me. Miguel also spoke up for me and quickly told the man to leave. The rest of the night Miguel helped me feel better by showing me pictures of his family, and talking about my other tattoos i have, etc. he also gave me and my friends free t-shirts and told me i was beautiful.Miguel is truly such a sweet man, so if u get tattooed there, please request for him!Also, i do genuinely love the tattoo he gave me!!!

I appreciate the outstanding customer service, professionalism and cleanliness. Lucky touched up my eyebrows and I appreciate the fact that he still respected the previous artist tattooing, very detailed and precise. My family decided to get sea creature tattoos as a souvenir of our trip. My daughters have already posted their reviews so just pics of mine and my fiancé will be included. We all had the pleasure of getting work done by Miguel. He was so kind and respectful through the whole process and even made us a cup of coffee. He was even patient when I had to run back 10 blocks to our apartment for an unrelated issue, and he ended up having to wait on me. My Jellyfish turned out better than I could have imagined! My friend and I were looking for multiple piercings and had seen the high ratings for this shop so we went in. As soon as we arrived, the man at the counter gruffly asked what we wanted, as if we were intruding and unwelcome. He got the paperwork and told us to fill it out, not asking any questions or engaging in any kind of conversation. Directed to follow him, we were lead to a back room, still with no conversation from the gentleman, who we assumed would be doing the piercings. My friend and I immediately left the shop, not feeling comfortable at all.I don’t know about the tattoo work, but our experience with attempting to get piercings was honestly a little scary. I definitely would not recommend this shop for piercings.

My friend and I walked into get matching heart tattoos and our experience was amazing! Our artist was Lucky and he made sure we were completely happy with our experience and comfortable throughout the process! This was my second tattoo and my friend’s first and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome! I would recommend this place to anyone in Miami Beach for sure!

The bestI have done my first tattoo with Lucky in 2011 and I couldn’t be more happy, the color are still so vibrant. I love my tattoo and will not trust anyone else with my body. Miguel was an amazingly patient and kind artist. My two best friends and I came in pretty late to get some mini tattoos. He let us use his iPad to pick a design and let us all sit together to watch.This would have been a five star experience, if we did not have the following negative encounter with what seemed like a friend of the artists at the shop. My friends and I are curvy, voluptuous women (for context). The friend seemed like he was getting to know us, before making multiple inappropriate and disgustingly rude comments about my friend’s body. He asked her questions like “do you like McDonald’s? Yeah I can tell” and told her to move to Miami so she can run it off.Even after confronting him, he continued to make these remarks in Spanish. Which, he must not have realized that I fully understood as a white-passing Latina.Our artist, Miguel, stood up for us the entire time and had him leave the store to come back. He tried his very best to make up for the unpleasant experience and even gave us free t-shirts. He was a wonderful artist and we love our tiny alcohol glass tattoos.

Lucky Tattoo is a very professional studio, its artists know how to lead us in the best way, their prices are in line with quality, in my case I am very proud of the work of the Artist Santiago Afre, who conveys a lot of security and mastery of what he does and his tattoos. They are very elegant.

I got my first tattoo today at Lucky Tattoo! I was originally at the studio with my friend who wanted to get a piece done before she had to go back to her home country, and while I was there, Ed (who worked on my friend) answered all my questions and really put me at ease with the idea of getting my first tattoo. Johnny was the one who worked on me since Ed was working on my friend. Johnny was so chill and easy going which also made me feel comfortable. All in all, Im very happy with how my tattoo turned out and I had a great experience at Lucky Tattoo. I highly recommend them! (P.S.: my friends tattoo also came out AMAZING!)

I love my tattoo! Fonseca was great and had the best customer service! He got me and my friends in very quickly. He was also very clean.

Very clean shop that takes walk in clients. Eduardo was available and helped right away. I knew what I wanted going in and he made the stencil, gave me a very fair price and a great tattoo. I’ve been to probably 100 shops and this is the fastest I’ve ever been taken care of. Usually you sit around while the artist dinks around…. Not here. Now my piece wasn’t very technical but I was still very impressed with the speed and execution. I definitely recommend Eduardo at Lucky’s Tattoo.

Louis is by far the BEST tattoo artist in the M.I.A. I was in Miami for a mini vacay with family and at 12 midnight we decided to get tattoos. Louis was very, very, and I mean very patient with us because we were so indecisive! However, we finally got the designs we wanted and DID IT! I got a piercing here in April. My piercing is still not healed and I should’ve known from the beginning when he didn’t give me the correct earring for my cartilage. Lucky gave a regular earring back and the gage was not correct. When starting off with a cartilage piercing you’re supposed to have a long bar and a flat back. Do not get a piercing unless you want keliods and an infection.

The artist named Santiago was great, very talented and light handed in my opinion he’s the best artist in the shop

All of my sisters and nieces have a matching tattoo and my mom (who is 79) really wanted to match with us. Originally she was worried that it would hurt too bad or damage her skin and wasn’t sure if she could do it. So, I brought her to Lucky Tattoo and asked if they could do it for her. They cared for her and made her feel so comfortable that she didn’t even feel a thing! She was smiling the whole time and was so so happy that she was matching with her daughters. It was her first tattoo and the experience was so special I don’t think any other place could’ve done a better job. The environment in this shop is so comforting and the work is exquisite. Her tattoo looks incredible and I’ve never seen her so happy. Big thank you to Lucky (owner of the shop) and Eduardo (her tattoo artist)!

The good is that the shop was clean and nice and the owner was cool. Thats pretty much where it ends unfortunately. I was already leery when it took the guy that did my tattoo forever just to draw out the sketch.....which was only a simple bible verse. When he finished, it was far bigger than what I wanted so I asked him to make it smaller. He tried to give me some excuse that it wouldnt look right if the writing were smaller at which point the owner stepped in and told him the appropriate font to use that would accommodate the size I wanted and still look nice. Then when he did the outline on my arm he did the letters crooked and spaced them too close together. When I pointed this out to him, he again tried to debate it with me saying that it was because of the way my arm was shaped. Again the owner had to intervene and tell him to fix it. Needless to say by this point I didnt even want him tattooing me anymore, however, we were pressed for time as we had a flight to catch back home and I wasnt able to wait until the owner finished my friend for him to do me. Long story short....not even a week after getting the tattoo it started to fade. Apparently the guy didnt shade in the outline all the way. Because I live in DC I cant even go back and have them correct it. $150 down the drain!

The artist who tatted me was awesome. Real cool guy. Tatted me up in 30 minutes max. Good music and convo while you get inked. Price was affordable and they open late night for the vactioning party goers!

I came here about two years ago and got a tattoo on my rib! The artwork was good! I just wish the artist who did my tat was a bit nicer. I reccomend this place, especially for price and location, if you plan on getting something small or basic.

Went here on Monday this week and today is Thursday. I went in for a quick henna on my hand and by Thursday it is already fading away. I didnt get the guys name who did my henna but let me tell you, he charged me $80 for a small piece on my hand and he was shaking the whole time. I live in Missouri and was super excited to get some henna done. Im not sure if maybe I got the wrong gentleman who did this job for me,but regardless it was a waste of $80 and I wish I lived in Florida so I could go visit and ask for a REFUND!!

My wife and I had a blast @ Luckys on Saturday March 16th 2013. We had the pleasure of being inked (her by) Ivan and myself by Anna. Consummate professional, exceptional artists and all-around good people. They took care of us from start to finish, and I was in the chair for about 5 hours and never felt unattended to. A shout out to Angel too, kind, gracious and there for whatever was needed. Hell he flagged me down a cab as I wandered from the shop @ 6am! Getting a tattoo, GO TO LUCKYS AND ASK FOR ANNA or IVAN! I just went with my sister and our best friend to get a matching tattoo.. Jesus my tattoo artist he is the best.. he manage his time and stay after work to work in our tattoos.. he is always so friendly and kind .. he always gives me ideas on what can look best .. I got second tattoo with him and my nipples pierced and he is always down to me work .. Ive seen him working with other clients and he is so welcoming and nice.. he has never been rude or anything like that.. I work with clients too and we have to appreciate their time and their talent .. we are all humans and sometimes we have good or bad days .. but what matter is to do the job .. Im very happy with our tattoos and he will see me again Im coming back for sure ...

I took my son in to get a tattoo of his nephews birthdate of November 5th 2020..My son then showed the Numeral numbers he wanted on his phone…. We are not from the area and started heading home and realiyhe put the first 2 numbers backwards…So I called to talk to the owner who did it and he basically said there was nothing he could do and he’s the owner…. He took no credibility I paid a $160 for 10 mins of work for tiny numbers that were backwards.. Don’t go to this place not good business men

Awful awful service. I hated it here they are beyond disrespectful. They also make up their prices I asked one worker how much a small tat would be and he said 220 but when I asked another artist who worked in the same shop, he said 120 sooo what’s the deal Lucky’s??? Which one is it?! I never leave reviews but y’all gotta know how terrible this place is. If I could leave 0 stars I definitely would.

My daughter wanted to get a henna. The guy assigned to us act like he didnt want to do it. He left out 40% of the detail in mine and hers. All I could think was Im glad this isnt a tattoo. I didnt want to complain and ruin my daughters joy of being happy we were getting them. The end result is the lines are messy, not straight and the overall design is no where near the picture he stared at the entire time. I would suggest getting a henna from one of the henna artist near the beach during the day.

While the tattoos came out clean that we got less than an hour ago, both my girlfriends tattoo and my own were missing quite alot from what our sketches layed out. Im fairly certain that our artist was high at the time as well. Moral of the story, when you go here, make sure they understand exactly what they are to tattoo. Wether it be shading, or the whole tattoo. Loved the appearance and cleanliness of lucky tattoo but thats about it. It took us longer to sketch out our drafts of our tattoo designs then it did for the artist to finish them. We together wasted 230 dollars on what back home we couldve payed less than half of that. Not bad line work at all, but certainly not worth the time or the money for our outcome. Youre certainly paying for a tattoo in miami I suppose. I hope the future patrons walk out happier then we did today with better results.

I cant explain how amazing it is he has the best tattoos i got 2 have 5 piercings from there they always heal properly he always has the equipment needed to do everything the way it needs to be done and does things himself is not one of his many talented workers with help you do what you would like i always command this shop to all my friends workers family and anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing they are interested at Luckys they do it right and if you dont wanna waste time they dont either they know how to do what you want no mistakes no worries no fear they are ready for you just walk in there waiting (from personal experience no tricks) enjoy.

Eduardo was extremely helpful and nice in helping with replacing my rook piercing! Studio really nice and clean - would definitely go back for piercing.

Went to the store to get a tattoo in April. At first it looked like it was fine but after a couple days it started to become a big scab on my wrist where I got the tattoo. It was very painful and unappealing to the eye. I wasnt able to move my wrist much and anything that rubbed against burned like fire. Ultimately it healed completely but the tattoo is barely visible now and I have cuts and scars on the tattoo.

They had a sign out front advertising two tattoos for $120 roughly 3x3 in size or smaller.. we asked for a spider for one tattoo in a cross with wings for the other immediately they wanted $300 each without even seeing the tattoo design .. we left after they refused to do the tattoos even though we had the notarized forms for our son who is 17 .. we got pricing and other tattoo shops and none of them had anything good to say about Lucky tattoo
