Highly highly recommend!!I have been going to Dave at Skin Konviction for almost 15 years now for my tattoo work and I can say that I have never been disappointed.Dave is an extremely talented artist who is completely dedicated to the quality of his work. He’s professional and takes the time to go over what you want while incorporating his best and honest recommendations to making a tattoo flawless.The shop is beautiful and the tattoo set ups are always sanitary.I continuously receive compliments on my tattoos and I couldn’t be more happier that I chose Dave as my artist for my tattoo journey.

5/13/24I came to update my 20+ year old butterfly tattoo. I didnt have much of an idea except I wanted to make what I had look better. After looking at some pictures, I showed Dave the ones I liked (which were pretty much every one I saw🤦🏽‍♀️). He took a pic of my tat, said hed come up with something and I made my appointment for today.What he drew for me was absolutely beautiful but due to the size, I only got a portion of it. It wasnt humongous but Im a punk and didnt think Id handle the pain. It came out beautiful! The detail is great.Dave was professional. He made sure to ask how I was doing during the process and hes very pleasant.The shop is clean, attractive and comfortable. On-street metered parking.

Came here for my first (and very large) tattoo. Dave is very talented and made it a very comfortable experience. I could not have been more happy with the outcome, and I would definitely come back again for another tattoo in the future.

Got three piercing by Dave and the process went extremely smooth! He was very friendly and gentle, and explained his processes very thoroughly. He also gave tips on after care and was very open and friendly with all my questions. Highly recommend ¨̮

Very nice place- clean and a cool vibe! Dave is very talented and created his own design from a picture I showed him. I absolutely love how it came out. He also created a tattoo for my daughter who is a Type 1 Diabetic- he was very patient and listened to what she wanted and what she did not want- she was so happy with the end result! Mike did my tattoo last night And I was more than impressed and satisfied with his work. As a matter fact, I was completely blown away by how my design came out. It was better than I could’ve ever imagined it to be. His level of professionalism and patience and considerable concern for my comfort were bar none. Beyond please with the service.

I’ve been coming to David last couple years. And he never disappoints. Does more then bring your idea to life on your skin. Bro is the Picasso of tattoo art. Also a lot artist usually have difficulty tattooing darker skin tone but he doesn’t at all ! On point 💯

David did an amazing job it came out just like I wanted I couldnt be happier!! His attention to detail and fine lines are so good. He was also able to touch up other tats that I got from another place since they did a horrible job and now they look brand new. I will definitely be coming back again!!

Dave is the only tattoo artist I will ever let tattoo me. His attention to detail and his ability to give you a better tattoo than you envisioned is unlike anyone else. He truly works with you to realize your vision and also creating a unique piece that will last a lifetime. The physical shop is beautiful and really makes you feel comfortable if it’s your first tattoo or your 100th.

My first tattoo with Skin Konviction was a large, complex piece. A black/white lion’s head & mane, wearing a crown with a specific green-peridot for the crown’s gems. Before meeting my artist, Dave, I had inquired with several other artists who didn’t seem confident they could deliver or willing to reserve a long session so the piece wouldn’t have to be in sections. Of course, this is a permanent commitment so I was not willing to settle on “mediocre”. He sat with me for consultation, revised the piece to match what I envisioned & ultimately executed flawlessly in a single 8-hour session! Dave was professional, personable, experienced and proved to be a true talent. My next piece was a smaller, simpler design (outline) with a colored accent detail, which took way less than 8 hours, but left the shop just as thrilled as the first. Skin Konviction is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for skilled professionals in a polished, contemporary setting.

Mike was amazing. From the stencil layout to the tattoo and after, he’s hands down one of the best (if not the best) artist I’ve worked with. Sat for two pieces that had a lot of meaning to me. I have been getting tattooed for 25 years and this was by far the best experience. Clean shop, chill environment. Would recommend to anyone.

Tattoos are expensive and not that good. I have gotten a few tattoos here and after a year of having them they have begun to show a lot of wear. Customer service not good, also they wanted $250 dollars to touch up two tattoos that they gave me, which is more than the cost of the tattoos themselves! Not that bad of a place but I would definitely recommend you keep looking because you could spend the same money and get a 10x better artist.

Not professional at all. 20 minutes late in opening. Then another 20 minutes because the peircing person was 40 minutes late. Bad first impression. Then was told he has no time, could I come back.
