I have now gotten 4 tattoos from Kyla at Walking Arts Tatoo. I love her work!!! She does an amazing job. I would recommend her to everyone interested in getting a tattoo!!

Just got a half sleeve done on Sunday, August 27th, and I have to say the work is wonderful! The tattoo was affordable, timely, and most importantly, very well done! The healing process was speedy and fully explained by the artist and I had no issues making an appointment. They even had pizza for dinner that they shared with me during the process! Overall, great place to get work done and I would recommend to anyone looking for high quality work at a very fair price. Great work guys! 👏

Had a great experience! Everyone was very friendly and they booked me in for the very next day. It was my first tattoo so i was anxious and shaky at first, but the lady was patient and helped try to calm my nerves throughout the session. She was also very informative about the healing process and aftercare. I left happy with a great tattoo, for a great price. 👍

I always treat myself to something when I complete a semester of college. This time was a new piercing and that’s saying a lot for someone with a super low pain tolerance. Walked in to get my doubles pierced and left 10 minutes later with my doubles done. The owner was super nice and very quick! Everything was super clean and it is very well kept inside! I would recommend to anyone!

I had a new tattoo done with Mike on my upper ribs. The location required for me to remove some clothes. Mike was very professional and would recommend to a friend. Tattoo turned out great.

I made an appointment for a tattoo (I booked quite a few weeks ahead), and I sent quite a few ideas, not entirely sure what I wanted or how I wanted it to look. Michael came up with a fantastic design that I absolutely love. The design is beautiful, crisp, and unique to me. The space alone is welcoming and relaxing. Everyone was professional, friendly, and very kind. It is a great atmosphere. I was given detailed after-care instructions, so I didnt leave questioning what I needed to do. I would highly recommend going to Walking Art Tattoos for any tattoo needs.

Visited walking arts last Thursday for an appt. With Nikki. The Owner, Mike welcomed me and helped me fumble through my papers as I was nervous, my first big tattoo. He was very kind and offered us something to drink. My original appointment was for 2 hours but ended up sitting 3.5 because it was going so well. She is very cautious when it comes to the comfort of her clients. I could not believe that my last tattoo which took about 30 min. Was far more painful than half sleeve she is working on. It really does matter where you go! Ill be back for my last appointment next month and am very excited,. Mike checked in numerous times to make sure everyone was good. Such a great place!

Kyla came in on her night off and did 3 matching tattoos for my myself and my friends/work family. Also pierced my daughters nose for her birthday! So nice of her, she was so nice and did great work!

Ky is one of the coolest people I know. She has inspired me in ways that cant be explained with words and I highly recommend you give her a shout if you need anything to do with Tattoos or piercing.

I have seen Michael for several tattoos all very precise, beautifully created, and all healed very well without complications. He has a gentle touch. His shop is clean and he follows a very hygienic methodical method of maintaining the safety of his clients. Michael is absolutely amazing and he literally saved me twice. 1-2 years ago, he squeezed me into his schedule to help me with an urgent request. The results were outstanding. Today, I presented to his shop. Door was locked but he let me in and said he was closed and I could book and appointment. I explained my situation, to him, about an ordeal I had with another artist and he immediately said let’s fix you up. I loooooove Michael. So down to Earth with a huge heart and caring personality. Mike has tattooed me several times and I have always been happy with the work he does. my recent visit 1/17/19 - Mike again did an excellent job.. he also tattooed my daughter on this visit, so I had Callie do a small tattoo while I waited, and she was great, very happy!! This place is friendly, clean, sterile, just all over amazing!

I will keep returning there because as great of an artist as Mike is, he is an even better human being. Friendly, open, honest, understanding, creative, etc, he checks every box. The whole shop takes on his personality and has a laid back, easy going vibe. Couldnt recommend more, a definite five-star place.

Me and my sister came in today for matching tribute tattoos for my moms 8th year anniversary of her passing.i had great service.super professional but made me feel very welcomed comfortable at the same time.all around superb visit to walking art tattoos.thanks again Mike!!Ill be coming back.

I have two pieces from the owner, Medrano, from 2009 when he lived here in the Chicago area and we are both looking forward to when I can make the trip to Minocqua to get more work. He is tied for number one for the most professional when it comes to the 6 tattoo artist who have worked on me. He takes his time, makes sure you are getting what you want (he warned me plenty of times before working on my tattoo wedding band that fingers need regular touchups) , talks and listens just like an average joe (many tattoo artist think they are gods because of their field of work) and he lives by integrity. He doesnt smoke or drink; so no worry about him smelling like an ashtray or being drunk or hung over either.

Not a very good experience at all!! When I went there, the service wasn’t great. The older guy behind the counter was rude and blunt but the lady performing my piercing seemed nice which is why I went with it. The piercing itself was okay, defiantly not worth the money though. The actual stud looked cheap, and when I questioned the way it looked they made it seem as if I were the nuisance. The very next day, my nose ring fell out and I was unable to find it. It definatly should be that easy for it to just fall out, which is why it suggests to me that it wasn’t done to a high standard at all. Definatly wouldn’t go back and definatly wouldn’t recommend! Don’t waste your money here!
