Easily one of the best people I get to be around whenever I can get in. Talented beyond belief, kind, with a very light touch. Its still a tattoo, its going to hurt, but Whisky will make it as comfortable as anyone can. Shes by appointment only, and very busy, so you will have to plan way ahead, but shes worth it. Youll love the work and the experience. My wife has had three different people work on her foot, and this was the only artist where she didnt need to be restrained.Id say more, but you get the idea. Whisky is a wonderful, warm human and a brilliant artist. She helped me customize this beaut to honor 3 special things: a soul-feeding gathering, a reminder for myself, and a memorial to my beloved late brother. As she worked, I began to feel lighter and better, like the meaning of the symbols and colors wed chosen had spread into and through me. Wendy is talented, attentive to detail, considerate and caring. She is attentive to sanitary conditions. Her shop is clean. I had a memorial tattoo done, and she is totally empathetic. I would highly recommend her.

From concept to finished work, Wendy’s art and company is wonderful! The studio is intimate and beautiful - you are instantly at home and comfortable. I appreciated the conceptual process which felt cooperative. Once we decided on final artwork her tattooing skills are gentle and skilled. Her aftercare instructions and recommendations are thorough so you go home prepared. So thrilled with my tattoo and hope to return for more work as soon as possible!

ABSOLUTELY BEST EXPERIENCE i have ever had dealing with a tattoo. I have been many other places and NONE have given me the personable feel she has. She actually took the time to look at my other tattoos that I had some concerns on and addressed them. And took into consideration my skin and how it takes ink. She was more than willing to come up with some ideas with me and was eager to help me get exactly what I had in my mind. She did my ideas complete justice and I walked away knowing that she is now my go to Tattoo Artist. Her space is really comforting and unique and you feel really welcomed and it’s an individual feeling that many places lack. A group of friends and I went to Whisky Rose Tattoo Parlor for some Up North Tattoos and Wendy absolutely slayed all of our tattoos! She has a beautiful little shop and a big/fun personality to match! 10/10 would recommend and we will be returning next year for more amazing pieces.

Wendy is Professional and friendly and a super talented tattoo artist, who took ideas I compiled over many years and helped me bring them to life in my very first tattoo. I’ve had two tattoo experiences by two different artists before going to Wendy. One on my upper back and one on my thigh. They both hurt SO bad it was hard to think of getting more. But, when I saw some finished pieces on fb that Wendy had done...I was willing to try one more time!She began working with me a few days before. I sent her pics of tats that appealed and why they appealed. She was patient while I changed my mind right up until my appointment lolThen she created a beautiful lotus for my chest, it was perfect! She took all of the things I loved about the pics I’d sent and created exactly what I was looking for.She spent time explaining the whole process, making sure I was comfortable and warm enough.She warned me at times that she thought it could be painful, and spoke encouraging words as e went along, reassuring me that things were going well and I was doing great. Her touch was so light I couldn’t believe it! The whole experience was excellent! Her work was stunning - I LOVE it!The only negative is that I have a lot of cool necklaces that I never wear now, because the detract from my tattoo lolWendy is a beautiful soul with an amazing gift of art♥️
