Family Tradition Tattoo

Jordi did some work for me a little over 2 weeks ago. He did a tremendous job, color packed in, pulled clean lines, was super cool to chat with for the time I spent there. Two weeks in and it is healing fantastically. I will be returning to Jordi specifically for all of my future tattoos.

My son and I have been going here to get our tattoos and my piercings. As a medical professional retired, I can say that to me they uphold standards, a professionalism and sterile techniques and aftercare teaching care for Clients. The front desk is fantastic and they uphold standards once again a professional documentation their prices are reasonable for the services they provide the tattoo artists are just tattoo artists and when they perform the tattoo, they are very sterile. And use all kinds of care and teaching aftercare.

Kelsea was piercing for a local jewelry store today. She was amazing. It was busy and she had a long line of customers waiting for their turn. I loved her professional demeanor and how she treated every customer with patience and kindness. She didnt make us feel rushed. I will always recommend her for any piercing in the future. She knew how to make an 8-year-old brave.

New go-to fav piercing shop! Recently moved to NC from FL and I have been searching & “shopping” around for a place to get body jewelry, and a person to consistently go to for piercings. I’ve been to 4 other piercing shops in the area and Bird is by far the best piercer and has great quality jewelry. I have an image in my head for what I want my piercings to look like and it takes $$ and time and I really was scared to venture away from the artist I was going to back in FL! Bird is a lovely person and can explain to you in detail the steps or let you be and just coach you through breathing which is amazing for any person looking to get pierced. She and the front desk girl (I’m sorry I did not get the name) are friendly and educated on the pieces they sell at the shop. The shop is very clean and professional, tattoo artists included and they all look like they produce amazing tattoos also. I also like to say I asked so many questions bc I’m new to the area & it hasn’t been the easiest on me trying to find places to trust or been unlucky coming across unfriendly people..Bird/Front desk lady were super kind to me and gave me great suggestions/answers and didn’t get annoyed which I appreciate lol… Some people never realize how much their little bit of kindness helps someone! I got my daith pierced (big hoop in middle of my ear with blue opal) the rest are all old piercings, and it’s a fresh piercing the blo*d is normal!

Had a sleeve done with Kelsea. She and all her staff are AMAZING! Kelsea is well worth her long wait list but all the other artists are awesome as well. My husband also had a sleeve done with Corey. And Halle will make you feel welcome and comfortable. One of my favorite places for ink therapy!

I have been looking for an artist in the area I could feel confident with and after my session with jordy the search is absolutely over. I wont go anywhere else. I cant wait for my next piece to be done here! Great vibe and artist all around experience was amazing.

First tattoo I got here was a wolf and turned out better than i expected. I luv it!!! People are friendly and helpful with deciding exactly what your looking for as well, touch ups look awesome, and they are all willing to work with you or make it right if something is not to your liking. Just have to make sure you say something and theyll get ya in to fix it within reasonable timing! If ya havent gotten a tattoo here before I recommend definately stopping by to see whats up with the body art wonders offered inside! The tattoos turn out better than youd expect. I have been to Family Tradition twice, once for my septum which I received 2 years ago, and yesterday to get my lobes done. I will ONLY go to this shop for future piercings as they have taken great care of me!I called to ask what sizes their piercer would be comfortable starting lobes at, and was told 6g - 4g would be the biggest starting size depending on your lobes. I was able to see Charlie 30 minutes later as a walk-in for 8g lobes. He took the time to disinfect everything, and the piercing room is comfortable and free of contaniments. I was expecting pain with the piercing being a slightly larger gauge, but because Charlie is such a seasoned professional, it was shockingly not any more painful than a standard size piercing. He made sure to modify the healing time on the print-out tips sheet to accommodate for the larger size, and went through it all verbally. You will not feel awkward or lost at all in his hands, even if its your first time!My only recommendation for those looking to start at a larger gauge is to call in advanced and see if the store has starter jewelry in your desired size, as they apparently do not often get that request and dont carry a big variety of large starters. If youre particular, ask the shop what brands or types of jewelry they would be comfortable using if you supply it yourself!

This place is just amazing!! Myself and two of my daughters have been here several times. Tattoos for me and piercings for the girls. Everyone is awesome, the vibe is so positive, and they have a bunch of talented people working here. I especially have to brag on Bird. My 7 year old has been wanting her ears pierced for years now. I finally took her today and Bird did such a great job with her. She has excellent bedside manner, very efficient in sanitation and cleanliness, was very thorough in explaining the whole process, and talked about what she was doing as she did it. My daughter took it like a champ, no tears. My other daughter is 19 and has had many cartilage piercings done by Bird as well. She is amazing at her job! Everyone there is. I have had three tattoos done by Jordi and he is incredibly talented as well. We cant recommend Family Tradition Tattoo enough! 10/10 will definitely be back!

I love this place. Everyone is so professional and the place is immaculate. Jordi designed a perfect tattoo of my sweet fur baby for me after he had passed away. It came out perfect and I love that it looks exactly my boy. This is the only place I would go to for any future tattoos. Thank you Jordi.

Lea did an awesome job on my hand tats. Lots of delicate lines and dots. She was great to work with and the atmosphere of the shop was good too. Not one of those shops where everyone thinks theyre a punk rock bad @ss. Theyll be getting my business again in the future!

Baby Bird is phenomenal!! Sanitation and cleanliness, Amazing! Knowledge, consideration and bedside manner, amazing! The pricing is very reasonable and although the shop may seem intimidating or daunting, it isn’t at all, everyone was so nice. I would highly recommend Baby bird if you’re looking toget pierced. Family Tradition was perfect for my first tattoo. Bret was awesome and had great suggestions for my ideas. His design was exactly what I had hoped. Quoted 2 hours...took about 1.5. If you need a piercing Baby Bird is an absolute gem. I was nervous, but she explained the whole procedure prior to the piercing. She has the most calming energy. During the piercing she again told me what she was doing, while she was doing it. Honestly I wish doctors would be as clear and understanding as she was before a procedure. Highly recommend.

FTT is the best in the business!! I fly down from Maryland for my sessions with Kelsea and I do not think twice about it. The quality of work is off the charts!! I get stopped all the time and ask where I got my work done.It is not just Kelsea everyone at FTT is amazing, helpful and friendly. They treat you like you are family from the moment you walk in the door.

First time coming here, the tattoo/piercing parlor is very cute in the inside & outside. The receptionist was very nice & welcoming. Came here to get my tongue pierced, very nervous but also excited at the same time. BABYBIRDSTABS, is phenomenal she explained the process to me throughly, took her time & was very patient with me. I love this place & will be coming back for more piercings VERY SOON. 10/10 experience for me. Anyone looking for piercings, babybirdstabs is your person.❤️

Cannot say enough good things about my piercing experience here! Baby Bird pierced both my tragus and rook and it was hands down the best piercing experience I’ve ever had! She makes everything super comfortable and talks to you like you’re not a complete stranger! She went over jewelry with me and everything was very thoroughly done. Everything was super sanitary as well! The shop is easy to find and very clean inside. The receptionist was also very welcoming and friendly! Definitely recommend for any and all piercings😊

I’m giving 3 stars as to not be too harsh, as I’ve heard that this place has excellent tattoo artists. A friend of mine went to get a navel piercing about 2 weeks ago and whoever pierced her seriously jacked her up. the piercing is off center and according to her, the bar is too small and is causing her a lot of annoyance. For $101 you’d at least expect a better experience.

My daughter has gotten three tattoos from there. The experience was great every time. The shop is VERY well organized. Theyre very professional and take great pains to keep everything very clean. All of the people working there take plenty of time to make sure they understand exactly what you want. You will need to make an appointment. They stay very busy.

Wow what an absolutely great first visit. Corey is so down to earth and caring. Her attention to detail is high on the bar for sure. Ive seen her work already and its great. I cant wait to get my first tattoo. Ok I was right Corey is fantastic her attitude and vibe is so awesome.This was my first tattoo and I couldnt have asked for a better person to get my first ink! Her work is surperb and Im ecstatic with the results.

I visit the shop pretty frequently and everyone has always been nice, very professional and their work is awesome! Bird is super patient and knowledgeable about piercings and Corey is my go to for tattoos but everyone here is great!

Came in to get my nose pierced and had a great experience from beginning to end. The overall atmosphere of the shop was very nice. Baby bird was able to answer all my questions perfectly regarding the piercing, jewelry, after care and made sure I was always comfortable. Shes still apprenticing but I would be confident coming back in the future to get one from either her or Charlie. Shes gonna do great when she graduates to piercer. I also really appreciate that Charlie took his time positioning the piercing before poking me (to line up with my first nose piercing) and did excellent, I couldnt ask for better placement!

Very professional establishment. Charlie was the person that did my Daith piercing, and he was very informative. He was very gentle, and I had a much better experience here than I did with my other piercings at another establishment here in Mooresville. Jenn, was very helpful with my questions. We communicated on Instagram a lot before my actual appointment. Im going g back next week for my conch! I highly recommend them.

Baby Bird did a stellar job poking my 3rd lobe piercings!! She helped me pick out two cute pieces of jewelry and anodized them to the perfect color to match my other pieces. My partner and I have been to several studios in CLT and family tradition was def the most welcoming of all, especially considering we were walk-ins. Baby Bird talked me through everything during the piercing and even did a little practice round without a sharp needle to make sure I was super comfy. She also checked out my anatomy for another piercing that I’m considering and was v helpful and informative. The price was well worth it for the session and jewelry, and Baby Bird herself is such a treat to meet! 10/10 go see Baby Bird for her bench-side manner and piercing skills !!

I absolutely adore this shop and the people who work there. The shop is very clean, comfortable to be in. Jen and Nathan that are the main piercers there are absolutely wonderful! I’ve gone to them many times because they know how sensitive my skin is on my face and ears when it comes to piercings. They always take care of me and make me feel loved and welcomed! I’ve never felt that way in another tattoo shop, the workers there really care about their clients and always give the best advice either on tattoos or pericings and they never pressure you into anything. They will always work with you to make sure you feel comfortable. I love this place and the people there and I ALWAYS recommend Family Tradition to everyone!

I sure hope the business owner reads these because the employees at this place are AMAZING. My daughter is 7 and needed a piercing re-done but had a panic attack right before getting it was pierced tonight. The piercer was a gentleman who was so calming, kind, and compassionate. He could have easily gotten rattled by the way my daughter was crying but he never did. He calmed her down and asked her a few times if he wanted her to proceed. I am so thankful there are such wonderful kind humans in this world. My daughter had a really rough time but is so glad to have her new piercing and I am very thankful. I highly recommend this business.

Jen is absolutely the best piercer in the area.She is very knowledgeable and takes pride in her work. At no time did I ever feel as if she was rushing. She has always made me feel comfortable and has pierced both lobes(3rd) and my right tragus. She also gave me advice on healing my helix, which is giving me a hard time. High quality jewelry and a very clean environment. I also received detailed information about keeping my piercings clean. Went to see my favorite piercer today, Nathan. I got another cartridge piercing. He is great. I would never think of going to any one else. He always takes the time to explain what he is going to do and when hes finished he makes sure you know exactly how to care for your new piercing. I came here recently to get plastic earring retainers put in temporarily. Everyone is friendly and the place is always busy.Ask for Baby Bird. I made an appt with them. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They even made the second appt with me to put my regular piercings back in. Nothing hurt and it took no time at all. I am already of thinking about the next new piercing with them. I definitely recommend this place for piercings as well as tattoos.

Kelsea has done two tattoos, one for myself and one for my husband. Both of these are absolutely perfect. She takes the time to listen to you and your ideas and makes them 100% better. Shes extremely talented and everyone at the shop is extremely personable and friendly. Id definitely recommend them to anyone and am ready for my next one.

I have been going to Family Tradition for at least five years now and every time I go in, I am amazed at the professionalism, clean space, and genuine caring staff that make this shop as wonderful as it is. My first large tattoos were done by Kelsea and although she is the artist I regularly see, everyone in that shop is immensely kind and talented. I had the pleasure of getting tattooed by a guest artist most recently for a special flash event for charity and, yet again, I was astounded by the level of kindness and professionalism on display on what had to have been one of the most chaotic days of their year. I love this shop and highly recommend it to everyone (and there are many) who comments on my beautiful work. I have tattoos that people cant believe are as old as they are due to how vibrant they remain and that is a true hallmark of amazing work as far as Im concerned. I could honestly go on and on but the bottom line is if you want an amazing staff, caring people, and talented industry professionals, you need not look any further. As a happy sidenote, Ive also had fantastic experiences with their piercing staff and genuinely enjoy everyone I come into contact with there.

Ive been tattooed a few times here and everytime has been an amazing experience. Seriously the most friendly staff of any tattoo shop Ive ever been in. I recently went for their Halloween flash special and it was insane to watch all of the artists work as hard as they could to accommodate as many clients as they did. They put out solid work on every single person that came through and I couldnt be happier with the way my tattoo turned out. Also, their receptionists, who were making sure everything was running as smooth as possible, did a phenomenal job. I seriously could not work under the amount of stress they had to go through dealing with the 100s of people that showed up. Keep up the great work guys, you are amazing!

I stopped in to take a look at the jewelry selection to get a ballpark price for a piercing and see what available time theyd have coming up. To my surprise, they worked me in on the spot, since it was a pretty straightforward piercing. If you didnt figure it out from the picture, these people are happy and friendly! They made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in (actually, I had called a day earlier and the man I spoke with was incredibly friendly and super helpful). Everyone I spoke to was very knowledgeable and super easy to talk to. The shop is extremely clean. Definitely recommend going here! :D

Kelsea and her team are the best around. She has been tattooing me for years and I would not trust anyone else to tattoo me now. Always such a great environment and has never disappointed me. She has completed many many hours of tattooing for me and I couldn’t be more happy with her work!

Stopped by to make an appointment for my sons first tattoo tonight. Corey was fantastic when we got there. She was super professional and patiently answered all of our questions. Jordi was available and he did an amazing job, not just with the actual tattoo, but also answering questions from a first time client. He was really considerate and understanding about Kyle being a bit nervous. The tattoo looks super crisp and is exactly how Kyle wanted it. Well definitely be going back for more.

Literally the best shop in N.C. and I cannot stress this enough. Everyone there is so professional and the shop is immaculate. The way they make appointments are so organized, the front desk lady does an exceptional job shout-out to her she’s the best. Every artist there puts in 100/10 effort in every single tattoo and puts pride in there work. This was my first time going there and jordi was the one who did my anime tattoo amazing guy and artist. Just 10/10 best shop wouldn’t want to get tattooed anywhere else. If I could give this place 1 million stars I would.

FTT is the only place I get my work done. It has been like that since they opened their doors. The tattoo artist that work there are amazing and have their own unique skill sets. Kelsea is a talented artist and very knowledgeable. Ive known her for a long time and its been a pleasure seeing her develop her skills over the years. This shop is clean, organized, and well run. I would highly recommend any of the artist and with the range, Im pretty sure someone will be able to do whatever style you like.

I’ve been driving over two hours from South Carolina for the last 9 years or so to see Kelsea and her crew. Came here to get my nose pierced almost 3 years ago. Jen and Nathan were so incredibly nice and professional. Went recently to change to a new ring and Nathan went above and beyond to make sure I got one with the right material since I have a nickel allergy and wanted something in rose gold color. And then Jen was great changing out the piercing. I wish I wanted more piercings so I could come here more often!

Sharing because I got tatted here!!! So this is the only place I will go to in order to get tatted. It was my first, although a lot of my friends get tattoos. This was the only place where the good ones actually came from. I met Kelsea and she was great at helping me maximize my design space, gave me realistic estimates and created beautiful drawings which I knew would last. She was also very knowledgeable about my skin type and tone. The tone of my skin was important in deciding what colors I would like to use and she cautioned me against certain ones because of how she knew they would fade years down the line. This is important since tattoo art should be beautiful through all of its stages and I feel confident that mine will. She was great throughout the experience and although I was warned about the possibility of losing my deposit if I did not show up, I did receive a curtesy call reminding me about showing up the week before my actual appointment . I would also stress calling if running late because I got caught in traffic and because I gave a heads up, they were able to have all the ink ready, equipment sanitized, and my art ready to go when I showed up 15 minutes late. They really know how to make a customer feel great. My tat healed beautifully and with no difficulties. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Ive gotten two cartilage ear piercings so far at Family Tradition and both times they healed with no issues. The place is very clean and everyone is friendly and knowledgable! Ill definitely be back for any other piercings.

I got my tattoo done by Kelsea, the owner, and she was so kind. Everyone there was really cool and it really helped my nerves. Im a small guy, like 100lbs small, so getting tattoos done is a little hard for me since Im prone to passing out, but Kelsea prefers to do her work while folks lay down, which made me overjoyed. She was so attentive and caring through the whole process, Im just lucky I got squeezed in the same day as my consultation! She is understandably booked for quite some time. Regardless, Ill definitely be coming back to have more work done!! This is the best place to go for a tat or two! (-:

I had such a great experience with my nostril piercing! My piercer, Nathan, was down to earth, kind, professional and super informative. He walked me through the entire procedure, let me know what he was doing each step of the way and went over after care instructions very thoroughly. Day 3 afterwards and no issues so far! Also had a nice selection of jewelry.

Whenever someone asks me for a recommendation for a tattoo or piercing shop, I always refer them to Family Tradition Tattoo. The artists there are extremely skilled, creative, and professional. My girl Kelsea has been my tattoo artist for more that a decade and, as a person with diabetes, she has gone above and beyond to learn how to deal with people with diabetes when getting tattooed, and her artwork is killer! There is no other shop in the greater Charlotte area I would go, in fact we recently got our daughters ears pierced there, gotta start em’ young 😂.

I love this place! It has a wonderful group of professionals working in a friendly environment that makes you want to come back again and again. I have seen Jordi twice this month and will definitely be back. He listened to my ideas and gave great advice and recommendations which led to a beautiful piece of art! I searched for years to find the perfect shop and artist for my tattoo (because thats what you do when youre putting something on your body forever, right?) and I found them in Mooresville at Family Tradition Tattoo. The staff are all talented and professional artists that care about you and the art that they are applying to your body. Ive had two pieces done there this year and I couldnt be happier with the quality of work and the professionalism of my artist (props to Kelsea McCree!). Ive had the opportunity to observe them train an apprentice while I was getting tattooed and I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail in technique and cleanliness that they were instilling in her. They are up front about their policies on deposits and their pricing is more than fair for the quality of work that they provide. I was tattooed by Kelsea years ago and she is talented and professional. I came in with only an idea and what she drew up blew the attempts of other tattoo artists completely out of the water. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a tattoo of stellar quality. Keep up the great work y’all!

These guys are great. I got my septum pierced here and I shouldve gotten all my other piercings from them as well! My septum was my last stop and Family Tradition was definitely much cleaner, professional, and nicer then anywhere else I went. Family Tradition was the only place that used a gel on the piercing needle they pierced me with. Which led to a practically zero pain pierce and I have a low pain tolerance. I had a perfect healing process and never noticed any discharge and funky smells. They were also super nice while explained the different types of metals and stones in the jewelry they had. Along with price ranges and whats approprate for a fresh vs healed piercing. I highly recommend them, at least, for piercing, and Im sure the tattooing experience is just as wonderful with them!!

I received a tattoo from Kelsea the first weekend of December 2020 and I could not be happier with how it turned out.Looking at the work on her Instagram page, I could tell that she was a great artist, but I was even more impressed with the experience she provided.I watched as she took great care in choosing and mixing different colors to create a sunset that was visually pleasing and would create the most accurate representation of a naturally occurring event. I couldnt help but be reminded of famous artists before her who must have meticulously chosen their color pallets with such purpose to convey beautiful images to the masses.Overall I am extremely pleased with the outcome. The time at the shop was comfortable and enjoyable, conversation flowed easily, and for the finished product I received I think the price is more than fair.

This is the only shop I go to for tattoos or piercings. Ive had most of my tattoos done here with Kelsea and Brett. I will say the best experience Ive recently had there was with Nathan. He is an amazing piercer and has always gone above and behind for me. He even made a point message me and check on me after an incident with one of my piercings at work. He squeezed me in that same day gor an appointment to make sure my piercing was ok and even went as far as to call me the next day just to make sure everything was still good. They treat you like family at this shop. I drive from mocksville just to see them, I wouldnt trust anyone else.

I went in several weeks ago and had a ear pierced by Nathan. He was a wonderful young man that I immediately liked. This was my first cartilage piercing and it was a little painful. He has a lot of patience! I will have another piercing done next week and wouldnt think of going to anyone else. Nathan, thank you, Michelle

Huge fan of every artist work in this shop! Though I have never personally been a client, I have numerous friends that have multiple tattoos from this shop. I went in with my fiancé to consult with an artist about a small tattoo I wanted, only to be met with a patronizing and condescending artist. The receptionist was so lovely and even helped me get a nose piercing in since my original piercing had healed funny.I don’t want to name the artist I spoke to, but his attitude was incredibly snappy and again, condescending. As a woman coming into a shop I expect to be spoken to the same way as anyone else. And before assumptions are made, I was NOT being rude to him first. But I was constantly getting interrupted or talked over by him...however when he spoke to my fiancé he was much nicer. He wouldn’t interrupt him or cut him off to say his piece.I’m glad my job switched my schedule the day of my appointment and I couldn’t go. Especially after hearing my fiancé’s experience (who kept his appointment). My fiancé said “he’s so heavy handed I wouldn’t trust him with you”, on top of the fact (while his tattoo looked amazing) it wasn’t even close to what he had asked for.I’ll be sticking to my usual artist after visiting this shop. I work in a retail job where customer service and first impressions speak volumes. I was completely put off by my first visit.

Wife was having trouble with some ear piercings done elsewhere, and she thought it might be the metallurgy of the jewelry. Called Family Tradition Tattoo and they said it most likely is the metals. FTT was able to provide exactly what my wife needed for her sensitive ears, in the right size (small and unobtrusive with her long hair) allowing her piercings to heal without interference, and to be cleaned more easily. Was exactly what she needed; thank you!

Excellent experience today, I received my first needle piercing. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the environment was extremely friendly. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone I meet and just wanted to say thank you once more to the staff!

One of my favorite tattoos was done here. To say Kelsea blew it out of the water is an understatement at best. The process was smooth, and she really made it easy to trust her. She took mumbo-jumbo coming out of my mouth and drew what I saw in my head, but could not draw myself. I had it done five years ago, and to this day, the color is just as remarkable as it was then. People still ask me everywhere I go to see the full piece and ask where it was done. I have so many ideas for new tattoos and I refuse to let anyone other than Kelsea draft up those ideas because I was just so impressed. The facility is clean, welcoming, and all around rad. I had piercings done here as well that still hold well, years later. I’d have a lot more work done by now from FTT, had I not moved to the other side of the state. Trust me when I say, if you want a reliable, trustworthy tattoo or piercing shop, this is the place to go.

FTT is one of the best most welcoming shops around North Carolina. I’ve personally been tattooed by Kelsea, for many many hours, and Dustin but have seen the work that Jordi and Bret put out and all Of it is incredible. Jen and Nathan go super hard on delivering amazing piercings and jewelry swaps. This shop is full circle a place you wanna go to for all of your piercing and tattoo needs.

I got tattooed by Kelsea last week, and had an amazing experience! The entire shop is ran top notch; everyone is extremely friendly, professional, and exceptionally talented. Long story short. Someone was gifted a gift card for a tattoo and they are no longer able to use it.Family Tradition refused us a refund or to work with us at all on making it right. Hope your free cash was worth it. Nobody I’m associated with will be doing business here.

I have been getting tattooed here since they opened. Too many to count. I will not go to any other shop. The artists there are very talented and knowledgeable. Very friendly and laid back atmosphere. You may have to wait a bit for an appointment, but it is well worth it. You wont be disappointed.

Ive been tattooed all over the country and family tradition is by far the best shop ive been too. All of the artist are super talented and ive been tattoed by all of them. Kelsea is my main artist and the shop owner. You cant beat the atmosphere from the super friendly front of the house to the helpful artist. They will make your whole experience a breeze. Got the outline of my leg piece done a couple of months ago done by the shop owner. Wow wow wow I run with a heavily inked crowd who have tattoos from head to toe by artists from all over the country and the same feed back is repeated by all of them, the line work and detail are amazing. Can’t wait to see Kelsie the owner next week for my first color session. The appointments may be a few weeks out but when you are being tattooed by people who are at the level of artistic and technical capability as Kelsie and the staff you just celebrate getting in! Poor Kelsie has a fan with an ever growing wish list of pieces, and she will handle these with professional knowledge and experience to make sure I get the best work! Im new to town and selected this place by the artist they had and the work they have done. Upon completion of my appointment, I was NOT let down at all I was very please with my entire experience. The staff was amazing and friendly. The shop was very clean and comfortable as well as took appropriate precautions for COVID 19. Kelsea and Jen have never made me feel out of place or unimportant, and have always gone above and beyond to show everyone they genuinely care. They put on many charities throughout the year to help families in need and even give to kids at Christmas. I have been getting tattooed by Kelsea for years for I will never go anywhere else. Not only is her work amazing but so is the experience. Since I moved away I now make a 4 hour commute for an appointment and I will continue to do so because Kelsea and her team are the best.

Really disappointing wasting MY time, AND gas to make the trip to Mooresville for their flash event for Halloween. ( Tried calling MULTIPLE times AND messaged their Facebook account in regards to the event, no response or answer.) Got there after commuting from Statesville, just to see the shop slammed packed. Was put on a waiting list with hopes of being tattooed (was #109 lmfaoooo jokes on me), and literally waited for HOURS in my vehicle. Disclaimer, I would have left waaay before I did, if I wasnt put on the list with intentions, better yet hope, and an optimistic we do have several artists here doing their best to try to serve as many clients as possible today, we cant promise anything, but hopefully we will have the chance of getting to you today! Statement from the receptionist. (Also mentioning that I do understand I was #109, but there was a HUGE storm tonight, and with that being said, and also how many artists were working to serve, people were moving through the line relatively quickly. Also with the next couple of statements Ill be saying next, Im just trying to explain how I felt, and how let down I was. Can the shop be at fault for my personal matters? No, but I was REALLY looking forward to being tattooed today, and the receptionist was VERY optimistic with her statement earlier, or I wouldnt have stuck around like I said.) So there was a huge storm tonight, people started leaving, and finally at 7 I exited my vehicle which I was seated in the entire time due to the shop being SLAMMED from inside to outside with customers.. to ask what number on the waiting list they have reached. *Drumroll*.... 43. The event started at 12 and it was now 7pm... The shop closed at 8. Ha. Alrighty, now to mention I would not have left my vehicle to come inside to ask (it was raining), I would have also NOT EVEN WASTED MY TIME OR GAS MAKING THE TRIP, I had called before walking into the shop to ask about the wait list. I was told to come in, that one of the artists had mentioned that they were going to be finishing the people that had not left due to the storm etc, to see if maybe they had the chance of fitting me in AGAIN I would have not even embarrassed myself with going in, and I stated when I was otp that I was #109 etc .. same receptionist, but different person I spoke to just seconds PRIOR to me walking in asked what number I was. Again I said #109.. (this was same receptionist that put me originally on the list that afternoon) she then cuts me short with an attitude (really appreciate that btw, after sitting and wasting my time for nothing ) to be told DIFFERENTLY (was pretty much told I might have a chance of getting tattooed if I came inside the lobby otp seconds later) . Yea, youre pretty much last on the list.. getting tattooed isnt happening for you tonight was told to me in a smug tone. I just really wanted to say, not that it matters that I really appreciate everything tonight. I have wanted to get tattooed by one of the artists from this shop for years, and this so happened to be one of the only shops I knew of that was actually offering flash this year. My birthday was actually the day before, Ive always loved Halloween, the holiday means alot to me. Not just that, this month has been one year since my mother passed away, with it being said it has been all around a really rough month for me, and I cannot even enjoy one day thats supposed to be an upbeat day for me with something to brighten it. Im just throwing this out in the open, because I literally felt so stupid for even wasting time to be turned down. Not just that, but to be turned down with an attitude. I literally turned around and started crying when I walked out the door, because i just wanted just ONE thing to go right this month. Silly I was for believing one thing could go right, I could treat myself, add to my body art, or even get my mind off of the negativity for ONE day. Im sorry, but customer service means A LOT. They should have stopped even attempting to do a waiting list after a certain point, and let it be known.
