The Stabbernacle Tattoo and Piercing Studio

August 6th Jojo gave me a tattoo that I am proud of. Not only is his attention to detail outstanding but I felt comfortable and was in good company. It was a fun experience with a rewarding outcome. I will continue to use Stabbernacle for all future work. PS: waking up a day after and I am in ZERO pain. Bonus!!!!!

BIG thanks to DaeDae for my kids ear pearcings. We came in and he took great care to explain the whole process. Shes happy as could be. Im already set up for some work from JoJo in a couple weeks! Good people here!UPDATE:Just got my first tattoo by Jojo. Small 3X3 piece. I was in and out of the chair in less than an hour. The experience was as entertaining as the piece was accurate to what I wanted. Ill be back often. Hes a good dude!

Very clean establishment. Very nice and friendly employees. Reasonable prices. I took my daughter up here yesterday to get her ears pierced. I myself have had a horrible experience with Claires so, I didnt want to take her there. I called ahead of time and they were sure to tell me everything that I would need before coming. Since my daughter was 12 they asked for I.D for her, for my I.D, and birth certificate. When I got there I was greeted immediately. It felt like I was at home with family. Very friendly and easy to talk to. The piercer was doing a tattoo at the same time but, still took time to squeeze us in. Lauren and Damion were our piercers. Since my daughter was 12 they wanted to do both ears at the same time, so it would be easier on her. I loved this idea by the way. Damion was very reassuring and talked my daughter through the whole process. Told her all of the other things that hurt way worse. Like falling off a swing or scraping your knee. He also made sure to show her everything that he was doing. From cleaning her ears to putting the mark on her ears. He made sure to make sure she was ready before he did anything and I really appreciate that very much!! He also took his time to make sure the dots were even before he even wanted to pierce her ears. Lauren was also making sure my daughter was comfortable and ready before we did anything. She made sure I knew what to do with aftercare. She took her time to make sure I understood everything before I left. She took the time to write down what I needed because I have a really bad memory. I really appreciate that they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied before leaving. I really appreciate them both taking their time and making our experience such much more comfortable. My daughter loves her ear piercings and she has thanked me about 50 times. So thank you guys for making our experience comfortable, enjoyable, and relaxing. 100000/10 recommended. I would rate more stars if I could and I am definitely recommending to anyone I know!!! ☺️ Those pictures are from a day ago and they look so good. They arent even red or irritated at all.

I had a watercolor tattoo done by Jojo. He was professional, laidback, and easy to talk to. He listened to what I wanted and helped me settle on a design that I really love.

I had autumn do a lotus on my ribs and she was great! For getting it on my ribs it wasn’t too bad in pain because she is super light handed. She also gives plenty of opportunities to take a break or check out how the work is coming along. Also very reasonably priced I paid $120. Highly recommend come getting work done by her!

Jojo always does a great job and listens to what I’m looking for. Been going to him for a few years for all my major pieces. I make the drive wherever he is because it’s good quality work and he’s a respectful artist. I love the family atmosphere at his shop and will continue to go back. I recommend all my friends and family to him.

Wow is all I have to say! Autumn at The Stabbernacle Tattoo and Piercing is amazing. I had a horrible tattoo on my hand for over a decade, she absolutely nailed it with this rose, she has a great attitude, loves the art, knowledgeable ( all the tattoo artists are here) very light hand with the tattoo gun.. highly recommended if your looking for a great atmosphere, professionalism, rather it’s your first tattoo, or your 100th. Try the gang at The Stabbernacle, you regret it.

Saw Jojo for a tat idea incorporating a plane with my daughters name, ans he was able to draw up what I wanted and make it better than I imagined! I am in love! Showed my daughter and she loves it too! The whole atmosphere was laid back and clean; makes you feel at ease! Tat was done in less time than estimated and it still looks amazing! Definitely a place and artist Id recommend!

We spent hours with her & had so much fun ~ were all obsessed with the sickly beautiful art she put down & cant wait to see them all healed up. Oh! I went to Stabbernacle Tattoo and Piercing Studio to have my new nose ring (a hoop) sterilized and place by Dae Dae (sp?). He was incredibly patient and helpful leading up to this appointment as I required a special piece due to allergies/sensitivities to scenting metals and he was able to recommend websites to find my new piece plus the correct guage and size.There was some difficulty removing my old stud (not his fault at all), which had been in my nose for 1.5-2 years. Dae Dae was so patient and worked on the stud until it came out with very minimal pain (to be fair, Im a wimp when it comes to piercing pain. I can handle tattoos like a champ, but piercings are the worst for me).Placing the new, sterilized hoop went well and thankfully due to his deft fingers and movements Im now rocking my new hoop. I was incredibly worried that my nose would ache and swell for a few days because I have such sensitive skin and a tiny nose, but Dae Dae did such a fantastic job that I only feel a slight amount of soreness (once again this is because of my sensitivity and not his fault in the slightest).Ive been to more than a few shops where the attitude and atmosphere of the artists working there are patronizing with a hint of a superiority complex, but not at Stabbernacle. They were fun and inviting while be consumate professionals. I highly recommend that you utilize Dae Dae for any piercing needs and consider Stabbernacle for the other artisans that work there as well.

I came into here today as a walk in, knew exactly what I wanted. They were instantly very kind and welcoming and they matched me with the perfect artist. Cory was quick to come up with the perfect design based on a few photos I had. It was my first tattoo but I felt at ease immediately and it was so easy to sit through. He was quick, gentle, and obviously passionate about his art. Loved watching the creativity flow! Awesome music too. I will update as it heals. Thank you Cory! Its perfect

By far my favorite experience with a tattoo shop to this day. I met JoJo by chance one day, through conversation he told me about his shop and showed me some of his work. I immediately knew I wanted him to finish out my sleeve tattoo. After a week of work we was able to finish this amazing piece and i could not be happier. I highly recommend this shop to anyone, the entire staff makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Jojo worked with me through the entire process to make sure I got what I wanted done. I will be going back here for the rest of my tattoo needs.

Jojo was awesome he brought a simple idea and made it come alive. I had a great experience with Jojo. I have an eclectic personality and had 5 years of ideas that he focused and made a great memorial tattoo for my dog that passed away. You can tell he loves the art and passes that passion on to his staff. I look forward to working with him in the future! Bonus: He and his staff/family interacted with me throughout the tattoo. I visited this place in need of help with a new septum piercing, because I went to another place in Bloomington and I wanted a professional to check it to see if it was correct due to it being quite painful. Lauren did an amazing job at observing the piercing and told me it was definitely done in the wrong spot, so she helped me by taking out the ring and told me how to care for it to get it to heal up and that I could come back if I wanted to get a corrected piercing at an awesome price. Lauren was so helpful and knowledgeable. Also, the people at front desk had awesome customer service! They were all so nice! I will definitely be back in a few weeks for a new septum piercing from Lauren. Thank you for helping me! 😁

JoJo was awesome! Took our idea of key and locket and came up with this. So much more than we had thought of. Made us feel great the whole time. Prices were great for 2 tattoos. Less than $300 with tip included. Will definitely recommend this shop and be back ourselves.

I walked in on a Wednesday to get two bees above my knees and Jojo got me in right away! the whole process was amazing, he explained everything to me and everything was so clean and not to mention it’s nice having a artist who makes sure your comfortable and wants to joke around, not to mention the after care instructions were detailed and you can tell he cares about the people he tattoos. I was so happy with the work I came back two days later to get another piece and he helped me figure out a better design, All the people there are so nice and I got to see some of autumns work while a friend was getting tattooed and it was amazing as well I will definitely be back for my next tattoo! 10/10 on the work and the atmosphere and the staff

This tattoo shop is amazing. Very experienced artists. We have been getting tattoos from JoJo for years. he’s VERY GOOD and his staff are awesome as well . They also all have a lot of experience. So even if he’s busy the other artists are awesome to. I had no idea this shop was in Mooresville when my niece came for a visit and wanted to find somewhere to do a quad-helix piercing. To say I was impressed is an understatement. We were greeted by the friendliest, funniest dude who appreciated and valued our popping in and it showed. He alone would make me refer that shop to anyone. Then we met the piercer, (Will?) Ok this guy was awesome. He did not rush and clearly wanted the piercing to be placed perfectly. He gave my niece such a great experience that it made me feel so blessed that the tattoo shop we stopped at just before that (with the most unfriendly staff) did not have the jewelry we needed. I almost want to call that shop out but I wont. Ill focus on the amazing experience we got from Stabbernacle. THANK YOU!

Got pierced by Will, he was super fast and enjoyed piercing me just as much as I enjoyed getting pierced. He was very thorough with his explanation of what’s about to happen and my new mantis piercing could not have turned out any better. Autumn was absolutely AMAZING tonight. She took great care of me, even after I accidentally knocked over the chair! She offered me a water and a granola bar when I felt light headed, and then I sat back up on the legs of the chair, and fell over. 😂 My arm also started to break out in hives which was due to shaving, and she helped us figure out what broke out my arm. Definitely an eventful evening for us both, but for my first tattoo, I absolutely loved it!

Will is the man for tattoos and piercings! He did two nostril piercings on me and his process was a breeze. He walked me through each step and was careful with lining up the piercings to match perfectly. I’ll definitely be back to support Will, highly recommend.

Hey there! I am new to the Painted Warrior Tribe and I LOVE it! JoJo was my artist and he is phenomenal! I will not let anyone put ink on my body for the rest of eternity, unless its him! He created a very safe feeling environment and made you feel confident in his ability to create art on your skin. Jojo is very experienced, to say the least. His technique is hard to come by. I have had a few artists tattoo me before, and he was by far the most light handed, the quickest, and point blank the best artist! I recommend him to everyone and wont let family get any work done unless Jojo does it. My husband is going to try and start his sleeve with him here soon and I cannot wait to get back in the studio and see Jojo do magic on him.Not only is Jojo the best, but the shop itself is extremely clean, the other artists in there are super nice, and it just feels safe there. You quickly get wrapped into a family by being there. Its not just about getting someone in a chair, slapping some ink on, pulling the shop minimum from them, and going on about their day. Not at all. Amazing artists! I have several tattoos I’ve gotten over the years and never one that I was happy with, until now! JoJo and Brent were awesome! I have 2 new tattoos that I absolutely love! Jojo worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and knew it meant a lot to me and it shows! Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking to get some work done. Good people that won’t let you walk away with a bad tattoo. Jojo is solid. He’s work is good and listens to the customers. We were bouncing ideas off each other and the tattoo turned out better than my original idea. If you want some work done, do yourself a favor and check the place out. Btw, the aftercare is unbelievable. They’ll tell ya that their method will cut the healing time in half. I was skeptical but it’s true.

These are great people. They do great work! I have gotten multiple tattoos from Jojo and I love them all. I get complements on my tattoos all the time. I also have a couple piercings that Tank did and hes the only person I trusted to do it.

Jojo Klein is a great artist. Professional and very knowledgeable in his craft. He has many awards from tattoo conventions on display.He has very friendly prices and often works out discounts with his clients for big pieces or when they do fundraisers for the homeless. I highly recommend this place and have gone back for my tattoo work many times. Look forward to my next one soon.

Went in just a few days ago, was able to schedule an appointment and let them know what I was looking for. The appointment went very well and Brent did a fantastic job on my first ever tattoo. Didn’t charge too much at all and I’m most certainly looking forward to having his work on my body for as long as I live. Highly recommend The Painted Warrior.

I originally had an appointment at a different tattoo shop for my 21st birthday, when I got there they told me they were too tired to do the tattoo. I went to the stabbernacle hoping they would take me as a walk in & The staff here was more than willing to get me in, their apprentice offered to give me a tattoo, the same day, and stayed until after midnight to get it done, They also offered me an appt the day after for the initial tattoo I wanted, with one of the other artists there. The staff and their work is amazing. I’d give 100/5 stars if I could.

My experience with Painted Warrior Tattoo and working with Will Hargis was just simply amazing. Everyone there at the shop was so super friendly and made me feel right at home. I came in as a walk in and the tattoo artist I knew was busy. However another artist named Alex was not. They were all accommodating and fun. This tattoo shop has a great welcoming feel. Every employee in there today was friendl . Alex did an amazing job on the tribute to my dog Jake who passed right before Christmas. The paw print is perfect and matches Jake and he is right near my heart. This will now be my go to tattoo shop!

I needed a tattoo redone because who did first ruined what It was suppose to look like. I was told he wouldnt fix it and thats why I went to this place Stabbernaacle, not only did he see the tattoo but they understood how much it meant to me. Will took the time out to explain what the other people did wrong, and I cant tell you how much that meant to me. This tattoo has half the ribbon stands for breast cancer awareness and the other half is for lung transplant which I had to get a double lung transplant.
